Transcript of the Robert meet and greet snippet . . . . . .
So this is my transcript of the
recording made by virgidearie with Bobby talking about some of his – um –
irritations with the show that she posted earlier today. @virgidearie hope it’s okay I transcribed this. If anyone heard anything differently please
let me know.
Question: I think
that Rumple cares a lot about his son’s names. When he came back from the war,
the first question he asks Milah is “What’s his name?”
Question: And you
have a similar scene in Season 6. Belle
doesn’t want to say, and I think it was so heartbreaking, and I wanted to know if
there was maybe a scene that was cut where Rumple learns Gideon’s name, because
I think it’s really missing, you know.
Bobby: You know, I
don’t know if anyone was here yesterday, I was talking about this. Believe me, there’s stuff that I know, there’s
massive chunks missing from that. And I
think that what they did, sometimes, was insulting to the audience, and I think
that it’s just appalling at times.
Because things like that, just like you said; these things are
important, you know? And the whole thing
that they never really address that he had that stupid affair with the queen.
Fan comment: I think
that nobody liked that.
Bobby: No, I was mad
myself. I was fighting hard with Eddy;
me and Eddy fell out for a long time over that.
Fan comment: Because
if Rumple just wanted to play the Evil Queen, he did not have to do that.
Bobby: Nobody asked
for my point [of view].
Fan comment: It was
really hard. It hurt Rumbelle.
Bobby: Of course it
did. I understood that. It was hurtful for ME. I so identify with it, I mean my friendship with
Emilie, and Belle was kind of – life and art sometimes kind of get mixed
up. And I was really upset by that as
well, as much as you guys were. Very,
very upset. But what can you do? At the end of the day, they just write this
stuff, they want it, dotted on the line, this is what we want.
hi, what happened at con that people are shitting on Bobby? Did he say something? I'm honestly expecting he said something that pissed csers and i shouldn't pay attention to it, or is it something bigger?
For once it’s not CSers. Bobby was, let us say, blunt in both his meet-and-greet sessions about being frustrated with the writing skipping important character moments (he called it “insulting” to the fans, which is true) and in particular about not liking the Golden Queen storyline or its lack of resolution/consequences for Rumbelle. Some people, apparently, enjoy Bobby’s bluntness when he’s saying something they agree with (such as all the times he’s called Rumple out for bad behavior) and less so when he’s saying something they don’t. Somehow that’s morphed into whether a fan was wrong for making a souvenir for her own use, or defending herself when she (and others) were misrepresented.
I think it’s another usual OUAT fandom tempest in a teacup, except that it might be hurting someone who has done no wrong and been a gift to this fanbase.
okay raise that v sign if you think Ravi,RapMon and Bobby will be walking down the streets of Hongdae all swagged up laughing them bootys off because apparently, contrary to popular belief, all of them have got no JAMS.
Anonymous asked: Hey! :) Could I ask for a The Intouchables/You’re not you AU? Idk if you
have seen them but it’s basically one of them in a wheelchair and the other one
becomes their caregiver without having much experience. Would love to read what
you do with this prompt<3 Much love xx P.S I wouldn’t mind if this got
I had only seen Intouchables, but I watched You’re Not You the other day.
Check. Let’s go. I really hope I did this justice.
Their morning routine used to
be different. Jemma would be up at the crack of dawn, whipping up some eggs and
pouring the perfect cups of tea. She would have showered, be dressed and have
put make-up on well before Trip’s alarm went off, and be waiting for him
downstairs, where the newspaper would be ready, where he would kiss the top of
her head or her cheek, and where he would join her for breakfast.
Jemma wasn’t one to sleep in, she never had been. But ever since she had been
with Trip, he had managed to make her a little bit lazier than she was. Only on
weekends, though. He would wrap his strong arms around her and keep her in bed
with him, before eventually picking her up to shower. Together. Or that would
be the plan.
