Extroverted Thinking (Te): Woody is the organizer of the toys, constantly taking the initiative to arrange everything around him for a better outcome. He’s usually driven and practical, trying to keep emotion out of the picture in order to achieve his goals. He’s usually blunt and to the point in speech, rarely sugar coating his statements or his criticisms of others when they screw up (particularly Buzz in the first film). He calls the things around him like he sees them and has little patience for the delusions of others. He’s a very skilled strategist and excels at coming up with plans, particularly when he has to organize a large group of toys to achieve his goals.
Introverted Sensing (Si): He likes things to continue as they were, and always feels out of place on the adventures the toys get into. He bases his judgments on how things have always been in the past, and struggles with transitions in life. He’s good at keeping things organized and attending to the little details. He’s generally a realist who deals with the world as is. He likes to go over the same routine, day-by-day, week-by-week.
Extroverted Intuition (Ne): Woody’s open to new ideas and experimentation at times. He can be remarkably creative when thinking up ways to get out of the various scenarios the toys get into. He thinks about the future possibilities, and though he doesn’t have a concrete idea of what will come in the future, he’s still cautious about the possibilities and willing to prepare.
Introverted Feeling (Fi): Woody deals with his emotions internally, and usually tries to act like he doesn’t have any. His loyalty to Andy knows no exceptions, and refuses to bend to the opinion of the group. He often tries to assign rational reasons for his complains and ignore the way his inner emotions are influencing his behavior.
WOODY PRIDE || 35 || SHERIFF || TY BURRELL || OPEN
Who They Are: Woody Pride is a natural born leader, or at least he’d like to fancy himself that way. Though kind at heart and naturally good intentioned, his sarcastic comments and easy jealousy can sometimes cause some disconnect from the other residents.
What They Do: He’s the town sheriff, and as such, he deals with any problems the town may have, as well as being a liaison for the people in Sunnyside. He works alongside Pete, the mayor, and his sister and deputy Jessie.
Where They’re From: Woody was always big in a small town. With a rural country upbringing, he’s always been a gentleman, though like anyone from a small town, he longed for something different. His family never had a lot, but they always had everything they needed. His mother and father were always a great inspiration to him. And of course, his family wouldn’t be complete without rough and tumble Jessie. He’s always felt protective of his little sister, even though she claims she can handle anything on her own. Even now, he stills keeps an eye on her, just in case.
Why They’re Here: After remaining deputy sheriff of his home town for ten years, he heard from an old friend about Sunnyside. The idea seemed great to him, and he applied right away, very rightfully secured the position.
