Animal Bellies That Need To Be Rubbed Right Now.

The stomach rubs that we provide for our pets are fun and cute, however there’s a whole other world to it than that. At the point when a creature displays its stomach to you, it speaks to an indication of accommodation or trust.

Beautiful, snuggly, loving, warm… who on earth WOULDN’T want to adopt Abra? But she’s been waiting at the shelter in Bowling Green, Ohio, for almost a year now!

Maybe it’s that she’s diabetic, but she views her insulin injections as just another excuse to snuggle!

Maybe it’s because she’s a black cat, but YOU’RE not superstitious, right?

And maybe it’s because she’s 7 years old, but who could look at this girl and think she’s “too old”? (Whatever that means.)

So come on, help Abra find her family… it’s time!

Look at him. Look at my dog.

Meet Sassy, proud BBC… big, beautiful cat!

She ended up in the shelter because her person died… so if she’s given in to a little “emotional eating,” and fallen behind on her feline fitness program, who could blame her?

If you know someone who can stick with her through thick or thin, she’s in Rochester, MA (around 60 miles from Boston, 40 from Providence, RI). Call 508-763-2035 for some big, beautiful love!

Ohio Valley Humane Society - Marietta, Ohio

This shelter has literally hundreds of cats and lots of beautiful black cats right now! Some have sponsored adoption fees!

“Harmar” is a handsome adult male kitty who came to the HSOV on February 27, 2014 after he was found on Harmar Street in Marietta, Ohio. He has a black short smooth coat, a long tail, and a sweet face with golden eyes and a black nose. “Harmar” has a calm, quiet disposition and is quite friendly. He received vaccinations and wormer on March 4, 2014. “Harmar” was also neutered on March 4, 2014 so his adoption fee would be just $10 with an approved adoption application. He has been combo tested and is negative for both feline leukemia and FIV. His adoption fee has been sponsored. SPONSORED!!

“Harmony” is a beautiful one-year old female kitty who was surrendered by her owner on February 28, 2014 alon gwith her housemates (Marietta, Morris, and Rene’). This little sweetheart has a black short smooth coat, a long tail, and a darling face with large golden eyes and a black nose. “Harmony” has a calm disposition and a friendly disposition. She is a fairly small girl who weighs 7.6 lbs. “Harmony” has already been spayed, so her adoption fee would be just $10 with an approved adoption application. She received vaccinations and wormer on March 1, 2014.

Rene’ is a beautiful one-year old female kitty who was surrendered by her owner on February 28, 2014 along with her housemates (Harmony, Marietta, and Morris). She seems sad sitting alone in a cage these days, and we can certainly understand. Rene is a fairly big girl who currently weighs 9.6 pounds. She has already been spayed, so her adoption fee is just $10!

“Timothy” (formerly known as Tabitha) is a 3-year old male kitty who was surrendered by his owner on March 1, 2014. The adoption fee would be $20 and includes vaccinations, basic wormer and a $20 voucher for local vets. SPONSORED!!

“Cinder” is a beautiful 2-year old female kitty who arrived at the HSOV on March 27, 2014 after a Good Samaritan found her in Marietta, Ohio and brought her to the safety of our shelter along with two other kitties (Ella and Pollyanna). Jessie is a gorgeous deaf kitty staying at the Animal Ark Shelter in Hastings, Minnesota.

With beautiful fur whiter than any Minnesota snow and eyes bluer than a crisp winter morning, Jessie is the fairest of them all.  And she doesn’t let her deafness get her down!

She is a little cautious going into a new room and fast movements scare her because she can’t hear them coming, but she is a friendly, well behaved girl.

Wouldn’t you love to relax with her on the couch, and brush that amazing fur?  Or have Jessie up on a catch perch, surveying the house and making sure it’s up to specs? Email seilers222@hotmail.com or call 952-356-4241!

This kitty here is a queen - she just needs to find a home to rule.  Her subjects at Give Me Shelter Cat Rescue in San Francisco are working on just that.

Queen Baby isn’t a tyrant.  She’s a complete sweetheart waiting to be queen of your heart.  She loves to be with people and command their attention.  And considering how beautiful she is, it isn’t really hard to be noticed.

But Queen Baby doesn’t just want to be loved for her good looks.  She’s also very friendly and loves to chirp and chat.  You’ll never be lonely with a queen at your side!

Her lady-in-waiting Maria is a-waiting your calls at 415-794-6663!
