she's the kind of girl you want so much

Bro, don’t lose her. Don’t let her slip away. I know you’re young and you want to get with as many girls as you can and you want to be single and not have to worry about hurting girls and dealing with all the bullshit, the kind that comes with making a commitment to someone, you wanna be the one every girl wants and the guy that can get every girl. But you have something so good right in front of you, how can you lose that on another girl who’s name you won’t remember in a few weeks? What do those girls do for you? No one else gets you the way she does. When the time comes and you realize how much you had and how much you left it behind, you’re going to want her back and she’ll be gone. She’ll find someone else who makes her so fucking happy that she can’t stop smiling, she’s going to realize he does everything you never did. You’ll watch other guys approach her and give her attention and for the first time in a long time she’ll actually start to take it and flirt back, what the fuck does she have to lose? She’s single, right? You don’t want her anymore, remember? The worst feeling you’ll ever experience, to physically watch her give her time and attention to another guy that’s not you, it’s gonna tear you apart if you don't do something about her. Message her, call her, go see her, the longer you leave it the further she’ll slip away and you're going to regret it. Don’t you dare stand there and watch her drift, she’s worth so much more than that. She’s a fucking keeper man. When you read those quotes you think of her straight away and even though other girls come and go in your life she’s the one you think about the most. Yeah she’s a girl and she has her girl moments where you can’t be fucked with the boring conversations and being a gentleman all the time, but it will pay off when she gives you what you really want; her complete time and attention to you and no other guy. The feeling when she tells you that she wants you right now so bad will make you run to be wherever she is. Go get her. She's not showing it but she misses you and would kill to have you in her arms again and her body next to you. Don’t let her leave and then expect her to come running back because she won’t. She has no idea how you feel because you don’t show it, for all she knows you don’t even think about her anymore. Realize what you have while you still have it because once she’s gone she’s gone forever. She was yours. She's too important to let anyone else have her and she’s too good to lose for one minute of pleasure with someone else. She misses you brother, go get her back.

I have a Head-cannon that Marinette gets an internship at Gabriel and Nathalie absolutely loves this hard-working, job-orientated girl. Then she realizes this is the girl whose present she stole for Adriens birthday. Nathalie has never felt so bad, Mari is such a sweet girl who obviously loves and cares for Adrien, so Nathalie begins doing things for the girl to try and apologize. She makes sure Mari works with only the BEST models and designers, gets breaks, etc. I wanted to share with you :)

Cinderella - Jughead Jones

Request: Hi honey ! <3 I love all your imagines, you are such a good writer ! I was wondering, if you could write Juggy imagine, something like Cinderella story, where the reader is shy and clumsy girl, who doesn’t go out much often because of her stepmother and her daughters, but one night, with Veronica and Betty help (two fairygodmathers haha) she go to a school party, where she met Jughead, but when she was leaving in hurry, she left something, and Juggy is determined to find her ?

This was like, the cutest prompt I’ve ever read and I just had to do it! Let me know if you want a part 2 :)

Jughead x Reader + Beronica because I’m trash

Warnings: - Swearing / abusive step-family :c - if you deal with these kind of issues, please tell someone. Anyone. You deserve so much more <3

Cinderella, that was pretty much you in a nutshell.

You walked along the side of the hallway, lurking. You managed to pass through to the high school exit, unnoticed by anyone. Not that you were ever noticed. You could turn into a flying monkey and still no attention would be paid to you.

Not that you cared. You were a selfless girl, kind and virtuous. To everyone else you were the shy girl without friends, too perfect and studious to need anyone. Inside, you were longing for someone to talk too, because nothing and nobody in Riverdale is ever perfect. There’s always a layer of cracked stone hidden beneath the perfectly painted exterior.

The reason you didn’t have many friends was because you never really got out much, besides school. You weren’t used to much social interaction and all your spare time was spent in the library, doing your homework. You couldn’t do it at home, because you had to take care of your stepmother who would often come home high or drunk. Your stepsisters would blame you, and you would have to clean up all of the mess and damage that they left behind or your step-mother would beat you.

That was always another reason why you never let anyone know. You were too selfless and paranoid to make a fuss, you didn’t want people worrying over you or thinking that you were just seeking their attention. You had the bruises and the scars to prove your claims, but in your mind speaking out would just make everything worse.

Still, through all that you had bared, you wore a smile on your face and tried to stay positive. It was all for your Mother’s sake. She had died in a car accident when you were 9 and it had left you traumatised. Sadly you didn’t have much time to recover as your Father followed just 4 years later thanks to cancer. Your Mum always used to tell you to look on the bright side of life, to be kind and show love. All you wanted was to make her proud.

As you walked out into the parking lot to fetch your bike, you saw a group of people crowded around the racks engaged in conversation. You walked up to them gingerly, your body spiked with nerves. This was, as dubbed by Cheryl Blossom, the Sad Breakfast Club. You’d always admired them from afar.

Archie Andrews was talented, in both music and sports. Betty Cooper was the typical girl next door, good grades and a strong mind. Kevin Keller was too fabulous for words, and you adored his confidence. Veronica Lodge was a powerful feminist, who stood up for herself, as well as standing up for her friends and fellow females. Then, there was Jughead Jones. You’d partnered up with him once in English class. He had a way with words, and you couldn’t help but ask him about his novel. His eyes had lit up with passion, a passion that didn’t die for the whole time the two of you conversed. His friends had been surprised at how talkative he was to you, how excited he was that you seemed to understand and respect his novel.

It felt great to finally have someone to talk to, about normal things. However, after that encounter you hadn’t really spoken to him, although he would sometimes acknowledge you with a small smile and a nod when you passed him in the hallway. You didn’t have the courage to interact with him more than you already did. Besides, you saw the look in his eyes. It was indescribable. The same look that clouded over your eyes daily, a look that nobody except those who possessed it would be able to see. The look of helplessness, that behind whatever perfect or basic exterior you had built up, was layered with secrets and scandal. You didn’t want to present yourself as another burden in his life when, without even talking to him properly, you could just tell he wasn’t going through the best of times.

You could hear that they were talking about Cheryl Blossom’s upcoming party. The party of the century. A masked party. Considering your status, you hadn’t received an invite so you weren’t going. The idea of taking on a whole new identity, the ability to let yourself loose without having to worry about how people saw you. It was thrilling, and sent anticipation and excitement coursing through your veins. How you would love to confidently dance at a party, socialise, do things that (Y/N) (Y/L/N) just wouldn’t do… couldn’t do. For once, after all the things you gave to the world, maybe taking something in return and having your fifteen minutes of fame was all you needed.

Your daydreaming meant that you hadn’t been paying precise attention to where you were walking, and found yourself stumbling over a collection of bikes which had been carelessly placed in the middle of the pavement as there was no more space on the bike racks. Your felt your cheeks tint red with embarrassment as you collected the spilled contents of your bag, which you had forgotten to close. It was cliche and awkward, and what made it worse was that the SBC was right in front of you watching. They got down to help you pick stuff up and you muttered your thanks to each of them, keeping your head down. You felt someone touch your arm, and naturally you immediately leapt onto your feet away from the contact, jerking the touch away from you. Your eyes were wide and your heart was thumping. You were so skittish thanks to past trauma, and you felt your cheeks get redder as you realised it had only been a reassuring gesture from Jughead.

He was staring at you, bewildered, as he slowly walked closer and gave you your pencil case, one of the items that had fallen from your bag.

“Are you okay? -” He paused, as if trying to remember your name, not that you’d ever told him. He probably expected you to just give it to him there and then but you wanted to escape the awkward confrontation as quickly as possible. You weren’t sure why because to be honest, you would always prefer to be anywhere in the world that wasn’t home. However, if you got home late, you would just be making it worse for yourself.

“Yes, thank you. All of you,” You put on that charming smile of yours, before pulling out your vintage bike, which you had salvaged from a local junkyard. You’d manage to acquire mint green spray paint and the materials to make a small woven basket for the front, and the result wasn’t half bad. It wasn’t exactly the flashy modern bikes that lit up when they move, but you wouldn’t want it any other way. Finding the time to work for yourself was rewarding in its own sense.

You knew eyes were on you, something that you weren’t exactly used to, so you tried to get out of sight, as you rode down the street, as quickly as possible. You didn’t realise the curious spark mixed in with the helplessness in Jughead’s eyes, and you didn’t realise the suspicious glances that were exchanged between Betty and Veronica.

Home sweet home.

Home is where you feel safe, most wanted and most loved.

Your home was anything but sweet, and you felt like you were living in fear, that the hate your ‘family’ had for you was all you had going for your life.

You walked your bike up to the shed at the side of your house. It was infested with spiders and mice, and if your step-mother was in a particularly awful mood, the thickly coated, dusty floors would be your bed for the night. Lucifer, your step mother’s cat was perched on the door step. His name seemed appropriate considering his demonic demeanour and frequent attempts to claw your limbs out. His gaze followed you as you entered the house.

Empty or smashed beer bottles clogged up the hallway, and you practically went en pointe to try and avoid the thick shards of glass that coated your path. You couldn’t hear the blaring noise of the TV, or the throwing of items coming from upstairs. This meant, it was one of those days where your stepmom went out the night before, drove to the next town over, got drunk and high and then proceeded to have a one night stand with some poor man. She wouldn’t be home until very late the following evening, and you couldn’t help but breathe out a soft sight of relief.

You had just gotten out of the shower, preparing to start on clearing up the glass when you heard the front door slam, followed by two whingey voices. Your step-sisters, Drew and Anna. Whereas your stepmom had physical abuse covered, your step-sisters preferred to hurt you verbally, to mock you and tease you, belittle you and reduce you to nothing but their own personal slave.

“(Y/N)!” You heard a screech from below your feet and you cringed inwardly, as you pulled on your comfort clothes. You knew you should have cleaned up first, but you just felt so stressed and uncomfortable from your fall earlier. Not that your own concerns were the priority in this household.

“(Y/N)!” Two simultaneous yells this time, sounding frustrated. The longer it took, the worse it would get, the more material they had to hurt you with. You hurriedly raced downstairs to their aid.

“Drew, Anna, how was your day?” You put on the nicest smile and sweetest voice you could muster. Anyone else would have snapped back at these sisters by this point, but you were an empathetic person and knew that deep down, these girls were suffering from their broken family just as much as you were. They just coped with it differently.

“Took you long enough, anyways, Cheryl invited us to her party and we need you to do our makeup like the… good sister that you are,” Anna gave a sickly sweet smirk. Your stepsisters had been sucking up to Cheryl for weeks in order to be invited to this party, and knew that you wouldn’t be going.

“She’s picking us up in her limo in about 2 hours, so hurry up. And don’t make further plans, you’re going to have to clean everything up before Mum gets home afterwards or she’ll kill you,” Drew snickered and Anna scoffed.

“Please Drew, we’re not that lucky.” The two sisters pushed past you, before walking up the stairs to their room. You felt your sensitivity levels topple over slightly, that remark was just a bit too far.

Somehow, you managed to slightly bond with your sisters over the makeup process. You tried things out on Drew, Anna would occasionally compliment how nice she looked and ask if you could do the same thing when it came to her. You almost felt like normal sisters. Until you were done. It could never last long could it? You just weren’t good enough.

Drew and Anna were wearing flamboyant dresses, with masks to matched. Their heels were higher than you thought was actually possible. As the two made their own final preparations, you were busy doing your own makeup and had laid out a pastel pink dress to wear. The dress was your mother’s, and you had managed to find it at the back of your closet from when you used to try and dress up in her clothes when you were younger. You wanted to go to this party. Why not? After all, you did everything for everyone else. For the first time, you deserved a little something back. Besides, you were sure Anna and Drew wouldn’t care, after all you had gotten on so well when you were doing their makeup. Well, better than usual at least. That had to mean something.

Cheryl wanted the party to be huge, so you were sure she wouldn’t mind if you tagged along with your sisters. It wasn’t as if you actually had any issues or rivalry with Cheryl, you just didn’t talk to her. You wouldn’t be surprised if your sisters had actually told people that they didn’t have any more siblings, and that you were just a loner only child.

You grabbed your ragged clutch, and made your way downstairs, after changing into the dress. You looked okay, but your mind was on the mask. You decided you were going to pick one up at the local costume shop on the way there, as you would travel on your bike rather than opting for the awkward journey in Cheryl’s limousine.

You raced outside before Anna suddenly rushed up to you, shoving her iPhone into your hands.

“Ah! (Y/N) perfect, take a pic of me and Drew!” She exclaimed, before rushing back to Drew and posing, attempting to stick her chest out. You awkwardly tilted the camera to fit the both of them in it, before Anna raced back and snatched it off of you, flicking through the pictures you took. “Ugh this one’s blurry,” She muttered, as she paced back and forth.

“What are you wearing?” Drew bitterly scoffed as she circled you mockingly, like you were surrounded in shark infested waters. You suddenly felt intimidated as Anna’s attention snapped to you and she began to laugh and jeer at you.

“Goodness (Y/N), is that ugly piece of shit the best you could do?” She giggled uncontrollably and you felt tears crawl into your eyes.

“It was my mother’s” You whispered, not looking either of them in the eye.

“You keep dead people’s clothes? That’s weird, creepy, just like that Jughead kid,” Drew sighed, pulling on a loose lock of your hair. You jumped back from her and she rolled her eyes and scoffed at you.

“Wait… don’t tell me… that you thought you were coming to the party?” Anna stopped pacing, getting up close in your face and raising an eyebrow. You wanted the ground to swallow you whole right now.

“Well… I thought… m-maybe you would let me come with you? I just thought it was my turn to d-do something… for myself,” You stumbled clumsily, eyes trained to the ground. An awkward pause of silence skipped over you, before your stepsisters bursted into scathing hysterics. Pointing at you, taunting you. The tears freely flowed now. How could you be so stupid and naive to think somebody actually cared about you.

“You thought wrong you little bitch,” Anna’s voice sent chills down your spine as her tone turned menacing. She walked up to you, grabbed the frills of your dress and ripped them in two. You let out a strangled cry as Anna stepped back to admire her handy work. You fell to the ground, picking up the pieces that had come off of the dress and holding them close to your heart. You felt like Anna and Drew were destroying your whole world, taking it down brick by brick. When they learnt a weakness or a potential threat, they would eliminate it immediately.

You heard the clanging of metal, and turned your head to the left to see your bike which was being vandalised by Drew, who was madly hitting it with a large metal hammer. You crawled towards her, screaming at her to stop but Drew wouldn’t comply, not until the bike was damaged beyond repair.

One of the only things you’d ever been proud of, your spare time flushed down the drain in a matter of seconds. You stood up and bravely faced your two stepsisters in the eye, who were observing the surrounding chaos with satisfied looks on their faces. A black limo pulled up on your driveway, and the two walked off, only stopping when they heard you yell.

“Why me? Please! What did I ever do to you? All I’ve ever done is be nice to you, why do you hate me?!” Your voice was raw from the crying. The stepsisters looked back at each other, trying to come up with a response.

“Because you ruined our lives,” Anna spat at you, before grabbing Drew’s hand and pulling her away, leaving you to stand there and sob. Your knees collapsed beneath you with grief.

You sat in your bedroom, trying to collect yourself. Your mothers dress was placed under your sewing machine which you would have to fix later. You had managed to clean up the rest of the house which had helped in taking your mind off of the party momentarily. However, you now sat on the edge of your bed, reflecting on what could have been.

Maybe you should have reached out to someone, anyone who would listen. Like Jughead…

You just wished you had your own fairy godmother right now.

Suddenly, you heard a knock at your front door. This was strange, as nobody ever came to this house except the milkman and the postman. Your sisters were too embarrassed to share their address or invite anyone round, as you would likely be there. If it was your stepmom, she wouldn’t knock. She would barge in the door, yelling and shouting.

Cautiously, you opened the front door, peeking out into the night. You were surprised to see two girls, two girls you recognised. Veronica Lodge and Betty  Cooper, who were both wearing matching black and white dresses, with perfect makeup and sympathetic smiles on their gorgeous faces.

“We saw the bike, saw your sisters and put two and two together,” Veronica sighed. You bit your lip, not sure what to say, but Veronica had practically invited herself in and enveloped you in a hug, followed by Betty.

“You don’t have to tell us anything, but we won’t sit here and let them get away with ruining your night,” Betty smiled, brandishing a box. Inside the box was a makeup bag, a pair of white embellished platform shoes, a black and white halter neck dress with black lace on the top, and the best parts, the accessories. A split down the middle, black and white mask. The white side was embezzled in sequins and feathers, whereas the black side was decorated with white swirls and fake flowers. Intricate floral patterns danced around the edges of both sides of the mask. On top of this all was the most beautiful necklace you had ever seen. A silver chain attached to what looked like a jewel encrusted ring, lined with a gold rim. More tears appeared in your eyes.

“Sorry if none of it’s really you, it’s all we had,” Veronica laughed nervously but you jumped on the two girls with another hug, except tighter.

“You didn’t have to do this, it’s all so beautiful….” You felt yourself choke on your words.

“Honestly it’s-” Veronica began,

“Nothing” Betty finished, linking her arm with Veronica affectionately as they giggled at one another.

“Don’t let these people ruin your fun, you gotta go out there and get your man!” Veronica beamed, resting her head on Betty’s shoulder as Betty nodded encouragingly.

Your eyebrows furrowed in confusion and Betty and Veronica simultaneously rolled their eyes with a ‘tut tut’, exchanging glances.

“Jughead silly!” Betty spelt it out for you and you felt your face turn red all over again. “Yes! I knew it!” Betty exclaimed excitedly.

“I ship it!” Veronica and Betty squealed in a sing-song voice. You buried your face in your hands, but tried to laugh it off.

“I don’t even know if I can pull this stuff off guys. Honestly, it’s all so beautiful but it would probably look nicer on yo-” You began but the girls help up a finger in unison.

“Don’t even start with that crap. You are such a pretty, strong woman! You’ve been through all of this by yourself and you never even had to! You are going to own this party whether Cheryl Blossom gives a fuck or not,” Veronica retorted, and you grinned excitedly.

The girls helped you redo your makeup, as you confided with them about your situation. It felt so good to get everything off your chest. They were so much more relatable than you expected and you honestly hoped that this wouldn’t be a one-off friendship.

You were ready and dressed, hair done in a lace braid, necklace secured, feet comfy. All you needed now was to put your mask on. As you slipped it over your head, you felt a surge of confidence and power. This was finally your night, and you were going to earn it.

“Look at what we’ve created Ronnie,” Betty danced around your room with Veronica excitedly. Your sisters had left to help set up the party earlier, so it’s not like you guys were even late yet, and the others were very excited. Suddenly, you felt the nerves rush back. What if they couldn’t get you in? If Anna and Drew knew you were there they would personally skin you alive. Veronica noticed you tense and she crouched beside you, resting her chin on your shoulder and sighing.

“In this mirror, I see a beautiful, young, independent woman who is currently discovering herself. You deserve this night (Y/N), it’s not enough just to dream these kind of things, you gotta finally step out of your comfort zone and live it up!” She shook you playfully and you laughed. This was your chance.

The ride had been fun, Ronnie had her own limo which she had managed to secure for the evening and you had picked up Kevin Keller on the way there, who played a huge part in settling your nerves with his gay humour.

Veronica, being an influential person had also managed to get you into the party and you hadn’t even seen Anna and Drew so far.

Turns out that being anti-social for so long wasn’t a good trait to have in massive social events like parties where everyone knew each other and had plans for the evening. You felt out of place, and everything you dreamt of had faded. It was intimidating, all these masks practically trying to outshine each other. You lost your new friends in the sea of people and hadn’t found them since. You had managed to gain a lot of attention during the night though, which you were not used to.

You currently stood pressed against the wall, drinking the non-spiked punch and avoiding the dance floor. Suddenly, you made eye contact with someone else pressed agains the wall. Probably someone that you would recognise in a festival crowd. No matter where you were you could pick him out. His crystal blue eyes and distinctive grey beanie which would not go off for any event. His raven haired curly locks which stood up at the back of his neck.

Your night (Y/N)

Feeling a surge of confidence, you kicked off of the wall and stood by him instead.

“Do I know you?” He asked almost instantly. Obviously everyone knew it was him from the beanie, and nobody would voluntarily come stand by him, it just wasn’t a thing people did.

“Not yet,” You let out a small chuckle, surprised at yourself. Your voice was deeper, perhaps even seductive. You sounded powerful but your stomach was whirling with butterflies as the boy gave a moment of silence to take you in.

“How mysterious,” He smirked back. Jughead’s mask covered a very thin surface area around his eyes, and was simply pitch black and made out of card.  He clearly tried very hard. “Student at Riverdale?”

“Are we playing a guessing game now?”

“I guess,” You couldn’t really tell from the flashing strobe lights and intense atmosphere but you swore you could have saw him blushing.

“Yes, I am a student at Riverdale,” your heart thumped. There were obviously tons of students at Riverdale but you couldn’t help but get this overwhelming feeling that he knew it was you. Maybe Jughead felt the same way? You bit your lip, thinking about how you just wanted to be at a comfortable home with this boy right now. Like his house, because your house was simply hell.

This boy practically was your home, he made you feel safe and wanted. Although he didn’t even know this was you right now, you were just there for entertainment as he had nobody to speak to. If he knew who you really were, he would have left a long time ago.

No (Y/N), your night! Have some faith in yourself!

“Have we talked before?” Jughead asked again, you paused deciding how you wanted to word this so that it was truthful but not too obvious.

“I expect so,” You played it off and you heard him grunt, causing you to let out another hearty chuckle.

God he loved that chuckle. It reminded him of (Y/N)

Hmm.. (Y/N)

Jughead looked up at the mysterious, elegant beauty behind the mask. He thought of (Y/N) and how suddenly an idea popped into his head. But she was so shy… it was just his biased mind because he had a cr- no, it was worth the ask.

Suddenly a slow song played over the speaker, and people paired off onto the dance floor. The two of you stayed against the wall until you were the only two left. You’d love to dance, but there wasn’t much space left and you wanted to dance freely with flowing motions. Jughead practically read your mind, as he bravely took your hand and lead you out onto a balcony, before placing his hands on your waist as you wrapped yours around the back of his neck, leaning into him and taking in his gentle scent.

You slowly moved side to side, resting against him, only properly moving when he would twirl you around gracefully.

“Do we have classes together?” Jughead murmured. You nodded your head dazily and he chuckled at your sudden tired mood, spinning you again. He let out a hmm in mock thought, causing you to weakly giggle. “Have we been project partners before?” His voice got quieter and more gentle. You paused, the swaying slowing. “Yes” you whispered against his jacket, clutching it tightly in your hands.

From inside, you could hear the song coming to an end but undisturbed, the two of you continued to dance. A comfortable silence swept over you as he twirled you one last time before stopping, his mouth coming closer to your ear and you felt Jughead’s hot breath on your neck.

“Do you like English class?” He whispered gently into your ear and you felt yourself tense. Suddenly the loud chiming of a clock from above you caused you to break apart with a jump. He didn’t make it obvious that he knew, but it was the skittishness that made it clear who his mystery girl was. Your heavy breathing, turned into breathy laughing with Jughead before suddenly your whole body went rigid and your face paled.

“What’s the time?” You whispered, your face struck with horror.

“Midnight, that’s what the chimes are for,” Jughead moved closer, his hand reached up to cup your cheek but you stumbled back, your hand flying to clasp over your mouth. You were trying to hold back sobs of fright.

Your stepmom would be home. She would kill you if you weren’t there and you didn’t exactly mean figuratively. She would beat you until you’re bloody, skin you alive and then eat your flesh in front of your own rotting carcass.

You muttered hurried apologies before racing towards the balcony door. You had to sneak back home somehow, you had to get away. This should have never have happened. People like you don’t deserve these special nights, these special people. Your heart was thumping out of your chest as the adrenalin pumped through your veins

You let out a yelp of pain as you realised your necklace was stuck in your hair. You ripped it out, not caring that it fell to the floor. You didn’t even bother to pick it up, kicking off you heels and chucking them at Veronica as you ran away from the dance floor, from the party, from the mansion… from Jughead.

“Got it,” Drew smirked nastily, as she hit the stop button on the recording of you. She’d filmed the last minute or so of your dance with Jughead and your sudden departure.

“Mom would totally believe she stole all of that crap, including the necklace. I mean she must have. There’s no way that street urchin can afford that shit,” Anna sighed, “Did she honestly think that someone like her would fit in here? We’ll show her,” She clicked her tongue in satisfaction, before dragging her sister with her out the door.

Little did they know that they weren’t the only ones snooping on conversations.

“Not if I have anything to say about it,” Jughead clasped the necklace in his right hand, Veronica and Betty standing angrily behind him.

It’s 2am I’m so dead. This was kind of rushed, I’m so sorry <3

warning: suicide attempt

[Y/N] wasn’t okay. And she was completely helpless about it. She’s been lying on her bed and staring at the ceiling for 3 hours now. She didn’t even feel sad, more like empty inside.

Before that empty feeling started to eat her up she wasn’t only sad. Anger was present too.

The thing is, she’s always been a sensitive girl. She could pretend the rude comments would’t harm her but inside she knew she was hurt. She was good at not showing that though, always has been. It was the only thing she truly liked about herself. If somebody asked her she always had the same prepared answer. She would play dumb and say ‘Oh, what do I like about myself? I don’t know! I think I like my hair and long eyelashes!’ and then giggle, like a stupid school girl. It always worked, people were strangely satisfied with that answer, she never understood why and how.

[Y/N] jumped at the sound of her telephone’s ringing. It was probably her best friend Jerome. [Y/N] felt bad for not talking to him. [Y/N] wasn’t aware but the Ginger had some strong feelings for her. He would sometimes show it by little actions but [Y/N] was too blind to see it.

But really though, let’s be fucking realistic. She’s been planning to end her life for a few months now. She may be feeling bad now but when she’s dead she can’t feel bad. Jerome would find a girl good enough for him sooner or later and leave her like all of her friends did. She could’t blame them, she would avoid herself as much as she could, too.  There was the only way to do it.

Finally, she picked up the phone.

“Hello?” It was Jerome!

[Y/N] was kind of hoping she was right and that would be him, she wanted to say goodbye. Hear his voice one last time.

‘’Jerome..”

“Hiya Baby Cakes! Don’t cha been quiet with me lately? Anyway, I was wondering if you wanted to go wit–”

“I’m so sorry Jerome!” She cut him off with a loud sob which caught him off guard.

“Doll? Wha-what’s going on?” He sounded really concerned.

Jerome almost fell off the stairs he was standing on as he heard [Y/N]’s sobs getting louder. She just could’t stop herself! He was going to ask her to go with him on a romantic killing spree, it was supposed to be a great time for both of them, kinda like a date, and then he’d brought her to a nice quiet place to talk. He wanted to confess his feelings. He felt like she really deserved to know them.

The stairs he was standing on were a fire escape from a building near hers. He wanted to knock on her door as fast as he could if she accepted his offer.

“I’m being honest. I’ve never been more honest in my life. I really am sorry. I just can’t do this anymore. Thank you for everything. You took a good care of me, and none of this is your fault. I… I love you, Jerome, I really do. Have a nice life you deserve. Goodbye forever.” When those words left her mouth, she immediately hung up.

She could’t believe it. She confessed her love for him! She knew he would never feel the same way and she wanted to end this pain fast.

[Y/N] sprinted towards her bathroom grabbing a razor blade on her way.  A picture of Jerome was on the table. She took it too. She wanted his face to be the last thing she’s going to see.

After 3 minutes her bath was already filled with hot water. Enough for her to go in. She kept her clothes on.

[Y/N]’s head was the only thing that sticked out from water. Picture of handsome looking Jerome drifted as she stared at it. She remembered the day she took it. Jerome took her to the zoo. One of the nicest day of her life.

Now as she thought about it she didn’t want to kill herself anymore.

Too bad she already cut her veins.

Now it was only a matter of time.

‘Hey, at least the song I like is on’

The walls were thin and she could hear her neighbour’s radio playing her favourite song.

And then she heard screaming outside her apartment. Her door burst wide open.

‘’[Y/N]!” It was Jerome. Her Jerome.

And then everything went black.

[Y/N] found herself slowly waking up in a very white room. Her eyes squeezed shut for a second, it was so bright there. Looked like some sort of hospital.

She felt somebody holding her right hand gently. It was Jerome. What a relief she felt. She was alive. With Jerome by her side.

He was asleep. He looked like an angel to her. That one piece of hair resting on his forehead.

She held his hand tighter, he felt it because he started to wake up. He looked so cute and innocent, she would gaze at him her whole life if she only could.

His eyes finally met hers.

“Don’t ever do this to me again. I mean it, Sweet Cheeks.” It was one of those rare moments when he was being very serious.

[Y/N] was so glad he was calm. She knew they’re going to talk about it later when she feels better.

“I’m sorry, J. I love you.”

Her Puddin’ could only chuckle at her funny expression.

“I love you too, Baby Cakes. Now let’s go. I’m taking you home.”

Tell me about the one who loved him - A Sirius Black Imagine

Remus looked at the young boy. His heart would always burst when he saw the young man. Each day he’d grow was a day he looked more like his father.

‘Yes Harry?’ replied Remus.

Harry sat at the table with his former professor. The Weasleys house was uncommonly quiet, he was not used for them not being there.

‘I was wondering… Sirius earlier, he said something about er… somebody he wanted to see for a very long time. Do you reckon who would that be?’

Remus’ face became serious.

‘I’ll take that as a yes, then’ said Harry, noticing Remus’s sudden expression.

Remus tried to smile to the young boy.

‘Who’s that person, then?’

‘He shouldn’t go… he’s going to make himself found’ Remus sighed.

‘Is that person could turn him in? We have to stop him!’ shouted Harry, getting up in a hurry.

‘Sit down, Harry… she won’t put him in danger, of that I’m sure. He’d just better leave the past where it is. I’ll try to find him later, put a stop to that.’

Harry sat down again, with more questions in his mind.

‘She?’ said Harry.

TOP 15 THE ORIGINALS RELATIONSHIPS (as voted by my followers)
10. Hayley x Hope

Dear Zoe… or Kaitlyn… or Angela. To my little girl. Your dad just asked if this was a love letter. I guess it kind of is. I never got to know my mother. I have no idea what she must have thought when she carried me. So, I thought I’d write to you, so you can know how happy I am at this very moment. How much your father and I can’t wait to meet you… And, I want to make you a promise, of three things that you will have that I never did: a safe home, someone to tell you that they love you every single day, and someone to fight for you, no matter what.In other words, a family. So, there you go, baby girl. The rest, we’re going to have to figure out together. I love you. Your mom.

Bitty is lounging on the couch in Jack’s apartment when his phone buzzes and Chowder’s sweet face appears. Jack’s asleep already. The life of a professional athlete such as he is. He’s intense about his schedule and maintaining it. Bitty however, is a bit more lax about it all, so he’s downstairs, flipping through channels since he’s not tired yet. He can guess why Chowder is calling. The Sharks are tied in the series for the Stanley Cup Final. Chowder has called him after every game to either cheer or weep.

Bitty swipes the screen and answers. “Good game tonight, eh?” Bitty’s picked up a few of Jack’s sayings. Shitty absolutely loves it. He sometimes calls Bitty and demands “Say eh! Please! I need a pick me up. Fucking law school.” Bitty always obliges. Jack says Shitty calls him and demands to hear some of Bitty’s Southern phrases in what Shitty calls “Jack’s dulcet Canadian tones”.

Chowder is out of breath. Probably from running around the block in celebration. “I’m gonna propose to her. When they win,” he exclaims. His voice is excited and kind of hoarse.

Bitty sits straight. “Pardon?”

“Farmer. Caitlin. I’m gonna propose when the Sharks win.” The absolute joy in Chowder’s voice is just adorable. But Bitty is too shocked by this news to really appreciate it.

“WHAT?!” he finally shrieks.

Chowder laughs, assuming that Bitty is as excited by this plan as he is.

Jack appears, blinking against the light, wearing nothing but a pair of baggy shorts and a confused frown. “Bitty. What the hell?” he whispers.

Bitty just holds up a finger and shoots him a look that screams, “Do not question me right now, Mr. Zimmermann.”

Jack holds up his hands and slides into the chair opposite. He kind of wants to see this play out. Also, he’s still confused as hell as to what’s even going on.

“It’ll be great, Bitty,” Chowder begins his explanation. “Farmer will be here tomorrow and Game 7 is the day after that. We’re going to have a big party to watch and it’ll be great.”

Bitty is just shaking his head now. “Oh, no. Oh no, no, no, no, no. You listen to me right now, Christopher Chow. If you propose to Caitlin Farmer at a party full of rowdy Sharks fans during the Stanley Cup Final, you will never get another pie from me again.”

Jack’s eyebrows shoot up and he blinks a few times before a slight smile appears.

“But, Bitty,” Chowder begins to argue.

“No, you listen to me. Caitlin Farmer is a wonderful, beautiful, amazing woman. And she deserves better than a proposal surrounded by drunken sports fans. This is like a jumbotron proposal. Don’t you do it, Chris. Don’t do the most cliché thing imaginable.”

Jack’s laughing now. Well, not so much laughing as shaking a bit silently while trying not to giggle.

“I love her, Bitty. I want to do this,” Chowder finally says after a long silence. His voice isn’t overly happy now. Now it’s nervous and soft.

“Chowder. Don’t put her on the spot in front of a bunch of strangers.”

“My family will be there,” he attempts to argue.

Bitty sighs. “That’s intimidating. Imagine being proposed to in front of a bunch of people who absolutely adore the proposer. Caitlin is a very laid back girl. She can handle a lot. But you can’t do it like that.”

There is an exhaled breath of defeat from Chowder. “I just want to marry her, Bitty. Isn’t that good enough?”

Jack makes a gesture to put the call on speaker and Bitty eyes him, wondering what’s going on in his gorgeous head. But he does it all the same because he trusts this beautifully awkward man.

“Hey, Chowder,” Jack says.

“Jack! Hey! Bitty said he was gonna visit you for a few days. I’m kind of jealous. You guys get to do so much cool stuff together,” Chowder starts rambling like he always does when talking to Jack.

Jack smiles. “So what’s going on? Proposing to Farmer?”

Chowder sighs again. “Bitty thinks it’s a bad idea.” The pain is clear. He just wants Bitty to approve of his plan.

“Well, what’s your idea?”

“I wanted to propose to her after the Sharks win the Stanley Cup.”

Jack’s face relaxes into that smirk of his that Bitty both loves and hates. “Ah. Well, I have to agree with Bitty on this one, Chowder. It’d be like proposing to her at an Epikegster. Everyone will be drunk and keyed up and she’ll feel obligated to say yes. Do you want her to say yes because she feels she has to? Wouldn’t you rather she says yes because she really wants to?”

The silence at the other end has Bitty fidgeting nervously. This is his sweet baby Chowder. He just wants the little goalie to be happy. As happy as he is with Jack.

“Yeah. You’re right, Jack,” says Chowder, his hoarse voice quiet and less chipper now.

Jack’s still smiling however. “Hey, Bitty. Mind if I take this from here?”

Bitty eyes his boyfriend with distrust. “What are you planning?” he whispers quietly.

Jack winks. Normally this makes Bitty swoon, but right now, it just makes him more suspicious. “Fine,” he stands. “But I’ll be in the kitchen. Waiting.”

Bitty scoots out of the room as Jack takes Chowder off speaker phone. His boyfriend is speaking too quietly into the electronic for Bitty to eavesdrop so with a huff, he slumps to the kitchen and pulls out the ingredients for pie. He’s too wound up to sleep so late night baking it is. To Bitty’s immense surprise, Jack doesn’t come into the kitchen until four hours later. He’s grinning and looks happy if not a bit tired since it’s now the middle of the night and Jack Zimmermann has a schedule, y’all. One he does not deviate from.

“Good Lord, babe. What did you and Chowder talk about for four hours?”

Jack shrugs. “Just some stuff,” he answers, purposely vague. He doesn’t manage to hide the slight sparkle of mischief in his blue eyes before he pulls Bitty into his embrace.

“What did you do?” Bitty mumbles, his words muffled by Jack’s chest.

“Do you think you could make a bunch of pie before Friday? Six should be good. Think you can handle that?” his boyfriend asks. Bitty glares and scoffs. Of course he can make six pies before Friday. Who does this handsome fool think he’s dealing with? Bitty ain’t no amateur. Bitty is about to make that clear, as well as grill Jack on what he’s been doing for the past several hours with Chowder, when Jack kisses him in that way he does and Bitty sort of forgets his own name.

On Friday, Jack loads the pies into his car and Bitty eyes him but he doesn’t ask. He’s been grilling Jack for days. But Jack Zimmermann is like a vault when he wants to keep a secret. Nothing, absolutely nothing (and Lord did Bitty try everything) would get that boy to talk.  Thankfully, Jack did convince Chowder not to propose after the final. The Sharks won. Farmer sent a video of Chowder sobbing with joy in front of the TV before grabbing a sparkler (from God knows where) and running through his parent’s neighborhood in full Shark regalia scream singing “WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS, MY FRIEND!” The whole team had a good laugh. Everyone chirped Chowder but the goalie was too happy to even care. He just sent a few “thank you” response texts.

Bitty continues to say nothing as he and Jack drive down to Samwell and pull up in front of Faber. Jack is trying to look innocent which only makes him look more guilty.

“What are we doing here?” Bitty questions, eyes narrowed.

Jack just climbs out. “You’ll see.”

They grab the pies and walk into the quiet rink. A janitor winks at Jack as they pass and Bitty just frowns. What is his boyfriend planning? Bitty is even more surprised when they see who is waiting in the benches.

“Bitty and Jack!” Shitty calls from the bench. “I’ve missed this fucking place.”

“Shitty was just telling us that he thinks you guys should have a round of naked hockey,” Lardo laughs and Shitty winks at her. She rolls her eyes.

“Dude. Naked hockey sounds way too dangerous for uh, certain parts of me,” Ransom flinches.

Holster agrees.

Dex and Nursey are arguing as usual but Nursey smiles and gets Dex in a light headlock which makes Dex laugh and roll his eyes. Everyone is happy to see the pies. Shitty especially. “OH GODS OF FOOD AND LOVE! I HAVE MISSED THIS!” he crows before immediately claiming an apple pie from the stack in Jack’s arms.

Bitty eyes the group and the bags at their feet and sides. “What’s all this?”

Ransom grins. “Jack had us grab some stuff on our way in.”

Shitty steps forward, eating his previously claimed pie with his hands. “So what now, Zimmermann?”

Jack smiles and immediately starts giving orders and the gathered team sets to work. Soon the ice has flower petals making a path to the goal beneath the massive windows. There are candles along the edges. There is soft music playing through the speakers. And on the score board, the names displayed are Chow and Farmer.

“Oh my God,” Bitty exhales once he realizes what’s happening. Jack just smiles. He doesn’t say a word. Instead, he keeps checking his phone.

As the sun is about to set, Jack’s phone buzzes. “Alright! Everyone hide!”

The group ducks behind the boards of the bench. Bitty finds himself squashed in between Holster and Shitty. Shitty takes this moment to pull Bitty into a busting hug. “Man, I’ve missed you, Bits. Say eh! Please!”

Bitty sighs. “Eh,” he says. Shitty laughs silently.

The team watches, peeking over the edge of the boards as inconspicuously as possible, as a very nervous looking Chowder leads Farmer out onto the ice. Luckily, Farmer has her back to the boards and doesn’t see the seven sets of eyes, watching silently. Farmer is laughing and making jokes. “You went to all this trouble to commemorate that time we did it on the ice? I don’t have a blanket this time. We can’t have sex on the ice without a blanket, babe.”

Holster and Ransom hear this and high five silently. “Get it, Chowder,” Holster whispers.

Shitty just smiles and wipes away fake tears. “They grow up so fast.”

Bitty just watches as Chowder mumbles and stumbles, so clearly nervous. Bitty sees Jack, hidden but still videoing the moment.

“So, I’m doing this here because this is where I realized I love you and told you and,” Chowder starts to ramble. He’s clearly terrified and Bitty just smiles. Farmer looks confused but she’s still looking at Chowder like he’s the most wonderful thing in the world. “After that game against Yale. I realized I loved you and I was so afraid because I’m well, not that cool, and you’re so amazing. And I was going to do this after the Sharks won.”

“Go Sharks!” Farmer cheers and it takes everything for the group watching not to make cute “Aw!” sounds.

Chowder beams and Bitty is just floored at how romantic this is. The first place Chowder realized he loved her. The first place he told her that he loved her. The setting sun casting a gorgeous pink and orange hue on the ice. Bitty feels a moment of jealousy. This was the proposal he thought he’d get from Jack.

“Caitlin Farmer,” Chowder takes a knee and the gasp from Farmer is loud. “Will you marry me?”

There is a long moment of silence. Chowder glances around, clearly terrified. “Um. Caitlin?” he presses.

“Yes!” Farmer shrieks finally. “Oh my God, yes!”

She tackles Chowder onto the ice and the group all stands and cheers. Lardo is wiping tears. Shitty is openly crying and shouting, “Fucking beautiful, man!”

Ransom and Holster are the first on the ice. They high five Chowder, telling him how proud they are. And impressed. Ice sex is cold and challenging. Who’d of thought that Chowder had it in him? Dex and Nursey tackle Chowder in a bear hug.

Jack turns off his camera and stands next to Bitty. They’re both watching the chaos. Farmer is asking Chowder for a long engagement. They’ll get married after they graduate, okay? Chowder agrees. Someone mentions pizza. Shitty mentions a celebratory kegster. Bitty just laughs.

“Thank you for helping Chowder,” Bitty finally says to Jack. “I love that sweet kid.”

“I know. That’s why I did it.” The admission makes Bitty melt a little. And here he thought it was impossible to fall more in love with this man. Though there is something that is still bothering him a little…

Bitty nudges Jack as they all begin the walk out. “I didn’t know you could be so romantic,” he jokes, though still sort of sad that Chowder got HIS proposal.

Jack slows his walk and the rest of the group moves on, leaving him and Bitty farther back, well out of earshot. “I learned from the best,” he kisses Bitty’s hair.

“I always thought,” Bitty begins but his voice tapers off and he can’t quite finish what he was going to say.

“What?”

Bitty sighs. “I thought that you’d propose to me like that. You know? On the ice, with the sunset.”

Jack tenses. For a moment, Bitty wonders if he’s pushed Jack too far too soon. But really. They’ve been together for a while. It’s only natural that Bitty’s mind would go there. But then Jack’s eyes soften and his lips quirk up and he looks superior. He pulls Bitty into a long, drawn out kiss. The kind of kiss that makes Bitty wish they were in a much more private place. Or at least had a blanket. Good point, Farmer.

“Don’t worry, Bitty,” Jack says, his breath warm on Bitty’s mouth. “I didn’t use all my romantic cards tonight. I have something better planned for you.”

With that, Jack pulls away and begins to walk down the hallway, leaving a blushing, hot Bitty to recover. It doesn’t take long. “Jack Laurent Zimmermann,” Bitty snaps as he rushes to catch the long legged stride of his boyfriend. “You can’t just say things like that and walk away! Good Lord.”

Jack just laughs and Bitty slaps him on his glorious ass, making Jack laugh more.

I’m In Love With My Best Friend – Cody Christian Imagine

Requested by Anon: Could you write an imagine where you told your sister that you have a boyfriend so she’d stop trying to set you up with guys, but now she’s coming to visit for surprise and you need a fake boyfriend during your sister’s visit so you ask Cody (your best friend) to pretendbe your boyfriend and everything seems goes right until the act stop being act?

Word Count: 3,141

Warnings: None other than Cody saying a curse word, ha. Fluff?

Author’s Note: Y/S/N = Your Sister’s Name. I did this because in previous imagines where I’ve named a sibling or best friend, some of y’all have mentioned it was weird to read your own name. So I decided to let y’all use your actual sister’s name or come up with the name yourselves if you don’t have a sister.

Also, I sneaked in a line from Gilmore Girls. I wonder if anyone can point it out.

“Come on. Come on. Come on.” Y/N whispered repeatedly as the phone rang. She paced back and forth in her bedroom, hoping her best friend would answer. “Pick up the damn ph-”

The sound of her best friend’s groggy and sleepy voice interrupted her rambling. “Hello?”

“It’s about time! Why aren’t you answering your phone? I only called you like a hundred times! I could have been dying and-“

Cody noticed the nervous rush in her voice and rubbed this tired eyes. He cleared his throat before he interrupted her. "Okay, first of all I was filming all night and I just got home a couple of hours ago. Second of all, you’re obviously not dying so this better be good, because as much as I love ya, you know I get cranky when I don’t get enough sleep. Lastly, breathe. Just breathe,” he inhaled and exhaled, which Y/N mimicked, making her feel a little better.

“Now tell me what’s wrong?” He asked groggily yet genuinely concerned at the same time.

“I lied to my sister,” she started as she finally sat on the edge of her bed.

“About…?” He trailed.

“That I had a boyfriend. I only did it so she would stop setting me up with all these guys she knew. I thought my plan would work,” she continued.

Cody hummed, following along with her story with his eyes closed. “I remember you told me that. So, what’s the problem?"

"The idiot decided to surprise me by coming into town without any warning! Now she’s on her way here, because not only does she miss me, but also because she wants to meet my boyfriend of two months…” she trailed for a second, silently praying Cody would agree to the favor she was about to ask him. “So, I was hoping if you could come over and play the part.”

Cody’s eyes flew wide open. He heard what she said but he still had a hard time believing it. “Come again?” He asked, needing confirmation.

“I need you to be my fake boyfriend for my sister,” she explained as she fiddled with the hem of her shirt nervously. “I promise you, I’ll get you a gift card for Chipotle that will last you for at least three months,” she bargained knowing Chipotle was Cody’s weakness.

Cody quickly sat up, “I’m getting in the shower right now and I’ll meet you at your place.”

Y/N smiled widely. “Seriously, you are the best. Thank you so much.”

“Hey, you know I’d do anything for you,” Cody smiled back even though she couldn’t see him. “What time will your sister get there?“

"She said she was about 2 hours away,” she answered.

“Alright, I’ll get there before she does,” he said as he walked into his bathroom. “Hey, Y/N?”

“Yeah?”

“Don’t forget the gift card,” Cody smiled as Y/N laughed.

Description: Being a Blossom and dating the school’s super sleuth doesn’t exactly have a happy ending.

Warnings: some swears, maybe. and mentions of death bc jason blossom u know.

Word Count: 2240

A/N: okay this turned out better than I thought. figuring out a title for this was v hard but thanks The Veronicas for having v fitting songs. It’s left open for a part two but that’s up to you guys. Just lemme know <3

Being a Blossom wasn’t the easiest thing in the world to begin with thanks to all the rumours and speculation around your family that had been passed down over the years but the moment Jason Blossom had died, it became the hardest thing in the world. People would constantly stop you whenever they saw you, whether it was in the streets or at school just to give you their condolences. People were constantly staring at you watching and waiting for you to breakdown and the thing you hated the most were the people that would constantly be asking if you were okay.

Okay? How could you be okay when your brother had died? Not only died, he’d been murdered and nobody knew who it was. Every single person in town was a suspect even you. Your parents were on a mission to find out who did it but in the progress of that they seemed to be forgetting or didn’t care about how you and your sister Cheryl were feeling. Not once had either of them made sure you were okay or gave you a hug. Just a simple hug from your mum or dad would’ve helped, it really would’ve. But, no. You and Cheryl just had each other and that was okay.

To most people, Cheryl was a stuck-up bitch who didn’t care what anyone thought about her.  That was a façade, though. The real Cheryl, the Cheryl you’d grown up with was a kind, sweet, troubled girl that just wanted love. She just wanted someone to be there for her but she was stubborn and had built up walls so much that letting people in was hard. The only person she trusted was you and vice versa. You had each other and that’s what mattered. When you were at school though, that was a whole different world. Cheryl was the popular cheerleader who had her big group of friends while you were the ‘boring’ Blossom. That’s what you’d branded yourself as. Jason and Cheryl had been the popular ones that were head of the school food chain and you were the plain jane Blossom. You’d much rather just write and spend time by yourself than be surrounded by people who only used you for the popularity. That wasn’t to say you didn’t have friends or people didn’t care about you. That wasn’t the case at all. You had a few friends and Jason’s friends always made sure you were looked after now your brother was gone but you didn’t have anything solid. More than anything you wished you had a best friend.

That was when Jughead Jones came into play. He was the mysterious, super-sleuth that was trying to solve your brother’s murder. It didn’t bother you too much that he was. Besides, it wasn’t like you could stop him anyway. You and Jughead had always been friendly to each other – more acquaintances than anything but one day when you were feeling especially down and sad, that all changed.

A post about the show 13 reasons why and why I don’t like Hannah Baker.

By the end of the first episode I really didn’t like Hannah. This didn’t change, not even when I felt emphaty. I’m really sorry if I’m one of the bad guys, I’m really sorry if I end up offending someone. But, remember, I’m a flawed person too. A person who needs to write her thoughts now.

The tapes: for me, revenge. As I see it, the tapes were Hannah’s way to get revenge on everyone who hurt her. They were not about explaining, making people understand, showing how people change. No, they were about payback and haunting. And if you want to tell me otherwise, I’m all ears. People told me she wanted to leave an explanation. She didn’t. Because the ones who deserved the explanation more than anyone were her parents, yes, the ones who were broken in a million pieces after her death. In fact, I cannot forgive Hannah Baker for killing part of her parents when she died in that bathtub.

Justin: we learn how Justin started everything, everything that lead her to her death. Yeah. But we also see how messed up his life was. The reason for him to act like an idiot. I grew fond of Justin. I understood him in some ways. I cannot defend him, I cannot say it was OK, none of it was. He did terrible things but in the end… He was so troubled I don’t think he could distinguish between right and wrong at any point. I feel weird cause, after all he did to Hannah and Jess, I have the strange emphaty towards him. Maybe I’m like him in some way, maybe I’m the kind who allows things to happen.

Jess: Jess was wrecked by the tapes. She went through hell. And maybe she wasn’t a good friend. But neither was Hannah. Telling everyone how Jess got raped and couldn’t even remember it was not fair at all. Saying Jess destroyed the friendship by herself was low. And I’ll defend Jess, yeah, cause no one did, cause Hannah pointed her finger but, apparently, she didn’t fight too hard to keep the friendship. Also, friends come and go, I’m sorry to say. And you cannot, ever, blame someone for your suicide because this person grew apart and couldn’t be a real friend to you for too long.

Zach: shit with Zach was weird, I’m gonna defend him too. He had things of his own, and he really liked her, apparently, she didn’t give him a chance. And he wasn’t mean to her cause he “didn’t get what he wanted”, he was mean in response to her being an asshole, too. So, Hannah can be hurt and be an idiot, but if the others do the same, they are monsters?

Marcus: total asshole. Tipical teenager. He didn’t care much. But he didn’t deserve to be tormented either.

Sheri: wtf? She did one thing wrong and this is proof the world is fucked up and a reason to kill yourself? The girl was nothing but kind and was ate by guilt before and after the tapes, did she deserve to be haunted like this? I don’t think so.

Courtney: one more that was judged because she wasn’t a real friend and didn’t want to be so, either. Can you blame her? No. She wasn’t true to herself? Maybe. Who am I to judge? Who was Hannah? Courtney was an idiot but she didn’t deserve to be exposed.

Ryan: another idiot, yes. Bad behaviour, selfish and all. Does he deserve to live his life thinking he was a reason for someone to commit suicide? I don’t think so. He deserved to pay for his actions, he deserved to know he acted wrong. But in the end he was just an idiot who didn’t try to destroy her in any way.

Tyler: the one who really needed some therapy. He was always bullyed and laughed at, even by Hannah. He had some real problems and carrying responsibility for her suicide would lead to some things that are much bigger than what was already shown. So, this is just an example of the consequences of the tapes.

Bryce: didn’t get to listen to the tapes. We never learn why Bryce was like he was. We never see him being punished and Hannah punishes everyone but him. So Clay has to do it for her. She wanted someone to fight for her and that I understand, mainly because I cannot imagine how she felt. Do I blame Bryce? For many things, yes. For her suicide? No. Because she doesn’t put all the blame in him. He’s not the last drop so at some point she thought she could handle things in a different way, she didn’t.

Mr Porter: he was not more than a counselor, and he cannot carry responsibility for her suicide. Was he good as a counselor? Probably not. Was he useful? Not at all. Everyone is fighting their own battles day after day, he was too, and that’s why he wasn’t there for her. How could he know? Can he be guilty because he gave a crappy advice and didn’t go after her like she wanted? I don’t think so. She left. That’s on her.

Clay: she put Clay through hell, for what? FOR WHAT? he felt like crap, he felt guilty, he faced some shit he clearly didn’t deserve to. So, why? Listening to the tapes was pure torture to Clay. She affected him for good and that doesn’t seem fair at all. She put him in danger, a danger he didn’t deserve. Torturing Clay was low, and I cannot accept it, I cannot like Hannah Baker when I know she was totally aware of how bad the tapes would hit Clay.

Alex: the ultimate consequence… The list was a childish stupid shit to do, yes. Going to the boy’s locker room was too. Why did she do that? She wasn’t allowed there and it was obvious they would talk even more after that. Blaming him for destroying Hannah and Jesse’s friendship? Unfair and stupid. Alex was a thunderstorm, he had so much going on inside his head, he couldn’t even handle Hannah’s thunder, or anything else, to be honest. I would have liked to learn more about him… After all, Hannah’s suicide lead to his. So, are we to blame Hannah the way she blamed him? Alex couldn’t handle the pressure, the guilt and he gives all the signs, he silently walks to his death and noone sees it, no one cares. So what good did the tapes do? They didn’t prevent anything, on the contrary, they lead to destruction and more and more pain. Hannah wanted to be a ghost seeking revenge and she got it.

The parents: the ones who are fucked up without doing anything, without stupid tapes to explain shit. The main reason why I can’t stand Hannah is the fact that, when she killed herself, she was gone, the pain was gone, and exactly at this moment her parent’s worst nightmare began. She didn’t think of them. She didn’t leave a note for them. She dedicated her last week to torment all the kids at school but not a word for her parents. Her mother’s desperation crushed me. She killed herself but she broke them, in a million pieces, never to be put together again. Can you tell me that’s not selfish? Not even a little? I just cannot forgive something like that, because finding your kid dead in the tub is pretty much the worst thing a parent can face.

Edit: if you don’t agree and GET MAD at me, please don’t reply. If you agree or don’t and want to reply with your own non-aggressive opinion, please reply. Edit 2: in case you didn’t understand, I don’t judge the reasons for which she killed herself, I don’t dislike her because of that. I just don’t like the tapes themselves and the apparent reasons for which she left them.
how the dragon boys think about the bracelet girls
  • Yuya: Yuzu? she's my best friend! she has been so supportive of me all throughout my life especially when my dad left. I don't know what I'd do without her. I would do just about anything to make her happy. ah! but don't tell her I said that!
  • Hugo: Rin? hehe well Rin is... she's a great friend! an awesome friend! the best friend a guy could ever ask for. I grew up all alone except for Rin and the only way I was able to survive was because we were always there supporting each other. I really... like her.
  • Ute: Ruri? Ruri is great. she's just... so great, you know? I uh... I feel like it would be kind of rude for me to talk too much about her when she's not here. but she's a great girl. I want to protect her and see her smile.
  • Joeri: who the fuck is Celery

Been thinking alot about how fandom really focuses on Sansa and ‘lying’. To me, it is very overstated and overfocused considering Sansa never lies with malicious intent to hurt people. Sure, how she shapes and interprets reality in A Game Of Thrones especially with the Trident Incident is important (where she falsely recalls Mycah hitting Joffrey) is important, but it’s not the be end all of the character. How Sansa grows and changes is also vital. Here, I’ll try to make clear that lying is not one of Sansa’s ‘flaws’, she is human and is not perfect but holding her lies against her doesn’t really work.

I don’t mind discussion about how lying impacts on Sansa, and the role in plays within her story- my problem is when people use that as a reason to be against her character.

Anyways, tell us about meeting Scott!

Lmao ok so I’m sitting at the hair station getting my hair braided. My friend just got finished with hers and he just casually walks in and she’s like “is that Scott?” So I look up and I’m like…yes. Yes it is. And she just STOOD there so I was like GO UP THERE. And I swear to god I was about to jump up from that chair. This poor girl. I was halfway off the seat and she’s like “do you want glitter?” And I’m like HAVING THIS INTERNAL BATTLE BECAUSE I WANT TO BE SPARKLY BUT WHAT IF HE LEAVES? But the glitter won and I ZOOMED from the seat as soon as she was done and went up to him. He gave me a pick at this point and was talking about Taylor getting ready and how she’s so excited for the show and how great ATT is and then he started talking about them as a business and their stocks and I was just like….okay Scott. Your stockbroker side is showing. So I tried to get a pic with him but he left to go see another group, so naturally I followed him. In this group he asked how we got our tickets and this one girl got them because she’s in the military so he started talking about all the stuff Taylor does involving the military and veterans (or something like that, I didn’t catch all of it) and we were like wow, we didn’t even know that and he’s like “yeah, there’s a lot of stuff that she does no one knows about.” And then he moved onto another group and I followed again lol. This girl was wearing an Olivia shirt so he started talking about Meredith and Olivia and some mouse game on the computer (??? He said to YouTube it) and how Olivia loves it and goes crazy. Even when the computer is off she’ll go over to it and paw at it and Meredith wants nothing to do with it. She just stares at her like “what the heck are you doing?” He kept calling Olivia “Dibbles” lol. So then another girl was like your daughter is amazing and he was like “thank you so much. We like her too.” And I was like “yeah you did a good job with that one” and he was like “thank you! We tried!” And he started talking about how much she loves us and how this preparty is the only preparty of its kind, that there’s never been anything like it and all the planning that went into it to make it special for us. I kept asking for a picture but I’m shy and quiet and I didn’t think he heard me, because he kept talking (I wasn’t interrupting, it was always during a break in conversation). Another girl asked him for one and he finally was like “sure, but She asked first, come here sweetheart” and pointed at me and then I took the shakiest picture of my life.

The one where you just can’t do it anymore.

Fanfiction - Scalpel & Needle

@mary-waitforit-lou: Maybe a From Hate to Love au, at first they can’t stand each other and then…

I asked for prompts a few days back and immediately felt the need to write this one. It’s a classical trope that I feel can be quite interesting. I received a couple of other ideas, that are already in store - some are meant to go later into my existing works. Thank you for inspiring me!

Scalpel & Needle (Part I)

“I’d be bloody thankful if you didn’t come into my OR like some kind of unwanted saviour and start to order me around!” Claire snarled, ripping off her surgical cap, her curls exploding in the air after sudden liberation, her hair bobble tearing with an audible “pop!”. “I didn’t ask for your help!”

“The patient was crashing.” Jamie tried to explain, remaining eerily calm in spite of the angry woman facing him, looking like a rattlesnake ready to pounce. “Ye couldna possibly deal with all those bleeders. I thought a second pair of hands…”

“I already had a second surgeon!” She hissed, pointing at the frightened young resident who had sought refuge against the wall, clearly wishing to be swallowed by it – and away from the two galvanized surgeons. “I was in control, using the technique I prefer! But you decided to come and show off, like some goddam star!”

“I was only trying to help, lass.” He grunted, gripping his fists. His blue eyes were dark and dangerous, tumultuous seas waiting for ships to wreck on their waves. “It seems to me ye have a bit of a problem admitting when ye need help and it’s perfectly…”

“Oh, you bastard!” Claire roared, advancing to face him – even though he had the clear advantage of his imposing height. “Don’t you dare call me “lass”, as you do to the young nurses, melting them away to do your biding. Stop pretending you know the first thing about me! You just want to please the board, so they’ll give you the most challenging cases!”

“I couldna care less about the board, Doctor Beauchamp.” Jamie said through clenched teeth. “Ye should be thanking me that the patient isna heading to the morgue - instead ye’re yelling at me like a mad banshee, because I wounded yer pride.”

Claire’s cheeks were throbbing with heat, her chest constricted with a fury she couldn’t even begin to understand. She raised her index finger and poked him on the chest, wielding it like a dangerous dagger. “Stay the hell away from me and my OR, Fraser. I mean it!”

Mallaichte bas! Fine!” He roared, raising his hands in exasperation. “I won’t meddle again, as much as I think ye might need it. Ye blind woman, stubborn as a mule…” And he reverted to clipped Gaidhlig, grumbling in a low voice as he strode down the hallway.

“Claire!” She heard the voice of her friend, Geillis Duncan, gaping at her with her mouth noticeably ajar. Claire was panting, her vision almost blurred from anger, as she contemplated James Fraser retreating with a cold satisfaction. “What’s this ruckus all about? Is something amiss?”

“Just my esteemed colleague, James Fraser, being an insufferable prick.” She glared at the other people surrounding her, frozen in contemplation of the spectacle, silently warning them to return to their own business. “I really don’t know how someone can be as egocentric, misogynistic, smug…”

“Well, don’t hold anything back, darling.” Geillis laughed, gently pushing her by the arm to a nearby resting room. “Yer feud with the man is becoming legendary. There’s probably people placing money to bet on yer next fight.”

“Someone has to show him he’s not even half as impressive as he fancies himself to be.” Claire puffed, filling a glass with cold water from the machine in the corner and drinking it down.

“Most people think him charming, Claire.” The nurse pointed, sitting on the small couch – a myriad of unidentifiable stains garnishing the old fabric. “A verra capable surgeon, kind and concerned with his patients, humble but with a sharp mind, and a brilliant sense of humour.”

“Damn Geillis, don’t you hold anything back either.” She rolled her eyes in disbelief. “One would think you very enthralled by the man.”

“Everyone – well, every lass and probably John Grey too – kind of is.” The redheaded girl gave her a mischievous smile. “That is one hell of a ginger fox, Claire. How can ye not want to ride that…”

“That’s quite enough, thank you!” Claire hawked and tried to tame down her revolting hair with her fingertips. “I happen to be immune to whatever spell he has been casting around here.”

“I just don’t understand why ye hate him so much.” The nurse looked at her with studying eyes, slightly biting her index finger, her nails a gaudy shade of pink. “Are you trying to conceal the fact that ye actually find him attractive?” She said in a soft voice. “I know that after Frank it’s hard for ye to…”

“Don’t.” Claire said in a serious voice, the shadow of a smile gone from her face. “Don’t say that. This has nothing to do with Frank. I just don’t see what you see, that’s all.”

“Alright, I’ll let the subject go – for now.” Geillis stretched herself like a cat and grinned, preparing to resume her work. “Drinks tonight at Leoch’s?”

“Sure.” Claire nodded absentmindedly, already studying her next patient’s chart. “I’ll meet you there after I finish my colectomy.”

“Behave until then, ye hear me!” She warned Claire, leaving her alone to face another surgery.

****

Claire opened her locker, blood pulsing rapid inside her vessels, so much so she felt the tidal waves of blood on her temples. Like she had foresaw, a lonely envelope was there, a bit crumpled after being pushed through the small gap. With shaking hands and a smile of anticipation, she opened it.

“It has come to my attention that you had a rough day. I’m sorry to hear it. I thought I would make it a little better – but this time I’m borrowing the words of a wiser man.

«My struggle is harsh and I come back with eyes tired at times from having seen the unchanging earth,

But when your laughter enters it rises to the sky seeking me

And it opens for me all the doors of life.»

I hope to see it again soon. I shall miss your laughter every second you hide it away.

With l Yours,

Scalpel”

It had started six months before. On a day when night had forgotten to go away, leaving everything immersed in shadows, rain pounding over the roof like a furious fist banging.

She had lost a patient that day. She recalled it vividly, because it had been the first since she had moved to Edinburgh. Not only that – it had been a young woman, with the same hopes and dreams that she had, heart broken into a million pieces but still hopeful. Losing her had been like losing a piece of herself, an entire world shattered away under the lights of the OR.

Claire accepted the sympathetic words of her colleagues, the gentle hands that touched her back, assuring her that not every battle was meant to be won. But she had lost – so brutally, so completely, so painfully. She walked to the locker room and bolted the door, allowed herself to cry on the floor, to sob until her heart had melted and gone away.

When she opened her locker to retrieve her things at the end of her shift, she had found a sketch there, pencil on paper like the tears on her cheeks. Someone drew a hand – elegant fingers with a thin wrist, which eerily reminded her of her own – holding a scalpel. And touching her palm underneath it, as if the fragile scalpel had been too heavy to hold on her own, a second hand helped her to hold it. The touching image – it had brought tears to Claire’s eyes – had been signed in a crooked handwriting. “Scalpel”.

The drawing had been on her nightstand since that day, a reminder that someone out there truly understood – knew – the loneliness of her work, the hardships she endured and how much she needed a presence to hold her when her strength failed her.

The second gift came a week after that – a pressed blue flower, perfectly preserved, clearly saved for quite some time between the pages of a book. Claire inhaled it, hungry for the perfume and words still trapped in it. A short note came with it – “Will you make a home for it with you? Scalpel”.

After a few weeks – time in which she had received poems, caricatures and photos of landscapes – she decided that her secret friend – for the mysterious person clearly meant to forge a relationship with her through those small tokens – deserved an answer.

She had scribbled it at home, sitting at her desk – the pressed flower next to her, on top of an organized pile of paper – and left it lodged on the door of her locker, where he’d certainly find it.

“Dear Scalpel,

I’m not sure why you think me deserving of such kind attentions, but I have to say you seem to read my mind! Not only I find everything you give me fascinating, but you seem to guess when I’ll need it the most. If someone ever told me I’d have a secret correspondent, I’d laugh and swear them insane. But in truth I find great solace in you and cherish every thought you spare me. Thank you for being a true friend – the more selfless kind.

Cla Needle

P.S. – Of course you know my real name, but it seems only fair that the both of us would have secret code names. I’ve been told to be sharp as one - and equally resourceful.”

And so their correspondence became two-sided. A week hadn’t gone by without a sign from him and Claire realized they were incredibly close – intimate, even. She had tried to suggest for them to meet and talk in the cafeteria – at least for him to reveal his name, so she could put a face on the person that meant so much to her. His answer had been concise and clear: “One day I’ll tell you everything. But not yet.”

Claire placed the note on her pocket, where her fingers could brush it – touching it, savouring it through the next hours. She headed for the pub to meet Geillis – blissfully unaware of Scalpel’s existence - wondering how one could be enamoured with a man made only of words on paper.

harutaka in -over the dimension-

—their first interaction in the novel takes up most of the second chapter. haruka is supposed to be designing the enemies for the game they’re making for the school festival, but he’s spacing out and can’t think of what to draw—so takane starts yelling at him. haruka thinks to himself that he wishes she’d stop being so rude, particularly because he’s worried that no one will want to marry her because of it.

—they start talking about what kind of enemies haruka should create. he didn’t want to draw zombies like takane suggested, so they come up with a solution together. he’s happy and inspired when takane suggests they base them off animals instead.

—takane smiles at haruka, which he says makes him smile too.

—haruka came up with the game’s title the day before, but no one has voiced it aloud yet. he gets excited upon realizing that takane’s going to be the first one to say it.

—haruka notes that he’s happy takane inspired him in deciding what enemies to draw.

—he’s on a roll with designing the characters. the thought of takane being excited about it is his…….driving force, to say the least. says he “salivates” at the thought of it lmao and he blushes a little even. he wants to impress her and have her compliment him.

—haruka talks on the phone with kenjirou and thinks about how he’s having trouble creating the game’s final enemy. he gets excited suddenly, then asks kenjirou if he has a picture of takane he could borrow.

—haruka’s over at kenjirou’s house the week before the school festival to work on the game, and he’s spending some time with ayano. after she’s gone, he notes that there’s only one person his age that he feels comfortable around (takane.)

—he closes his eyes and euphorically images her—in very precise (and almost provocative) detail. he notes that he doesn’t need a picture of her, and he can imagine takane more vividly than any photo.

—he’s then overwhelmed by the urge to say her name out loud, and decides to since no one’s around. he starts to when there’s a knock on the door, at which point he feels embarrassed. (in the illustration he looks so blissful when he’s thinking about her omg.)

—kano comes in disguised as ayano. then asks haruka if he was thinking dirty thoughts just now. haruka freaks out and comments (almost guiltily,) that no, he wasn’t, then specifically notes that he was thinking about takane though.

—it goes on to the school festival in the next chapter, there’s a long description (which is honestly kind of on going throughout the whole chapter,) of haruka observing takane playing video games. he’s amazed and even inspired because she’s so good at them, and lives up to her title as “dancing flash ene”.

—not really too ~concrete~ in terms of harutaka but it was still really funny to me: takane calls haruka a dumbass for being as excited as he is, and he just agrees like HELL YEAH I’M A DUMBASS.

—haruka watches shin and takane face off in headphone actor, and notes that he’s feeling unexpected jealousy. he says he wants to be able to play games with takane, and make her feel as excited and “impassioned” as she feels right now.

—he congratulates her even though she lost.

—he comments again in his mind that he wants to play video games with takane, casually mentions it to shintaro, then gets incredibly excited at the prospect when shintaro offers to teach him how.

—later when he and shin are playing video games, shin says that haruka and takane should battle—but haruka still feels too inexperienced to do so, and he’s afraid that takane won’t wanna play against him again if he flat out loses to her the first time.

—in the next chapter, he and shin are at an arcade keeping an eye on momo—when takane calls haruka. takane tells him that it’s ayano’s birthday, and she’s throwing a party for her. haruka wants to attend but has to take care of momo first, so he can’t right now. he then lies to takane about where he is, because he knows that takane doesn’t like shintaro—and he doesn’t wanna put her in a bad mood for hanging out with him instead. after they hang up, he feels terrible for lying to takane.

—takane implies that she wanted to bring haruka to the arcade herself, and also teases him a little that he lost his chance to go with her.

—takane is at the arcade with ayano, and it turns out they’re gonna be facing off against haruka and shintaro in a tournament final. it’s haruka against takane, and shintaro against ayano.

—takane calls his and shintaro’s costumes freaky without knowing who they are (since they were wearing masks,) and haruka gets a li’l emo lmao.

—haruka realizes this is the first time he’s facing off against takane and gets nervous since he hasn’t mentally prepared himself.

—haruka only wins because he calls out takane’s name during the match……for some reason, and distracts her. takane isn’t mad later when she finds out he lied to her, but tells him not to lie to her ever again.

—towards the end of the chapter, takane gets flustered that he isn’t paying attention to her when she’s talking—he’s distracted thinking about how he’s going to die.

—at the beginning of the next chapter, he’s thinking about when he battled takane just because.

—shintaro comes and visits haruka at his house, he thinks about how he considers shintaro to be a good friend. haruka then says he’d also consider takane a friend, but doesn’t feel quite right about calling her that. he admits that his feelings for her might be love, but he can’t act on or even acknowledge the fact, because he knows he’s going to die.

—he goes for a walk later that night, he says he wanted to do something special before he dies. he thinks about how great it’d be if he and takane could face one another in the upcoming dead bullet tournament, and says it could be a precious moment of his life, and he doesn’t feel like it’s wasted.

—haruka’s last moments alive, spent with takane:

“The sounds around me seemed to echo mindlessly in my ears, and soon I could only pick up the barest nuances of Takane’s words. What did she say? I didn’t know. She sounded real sad, though.

Ahhh, I’m sorry, Takane. I’m really sorry. I’ve received so much from you, but I couldn’t give you anything in return.
I bet you’re angry about it. Well, you can be, if you want. You can punch me, even. If it helps you get over it, you can do anything you like.
Oh, but don’t take it out too much on people besides me. You might run into all kinds of wonderful people later on in life. You need to treat them with the care they’ll deserve.
Yeah. That’s right. You’re a kind, gentle girl, Takane. You need to keep on smiling. You need to be happy.

So, please, Takane. Stop crying…”

Essays in Existentialism: Jealousy VI

Prompt: Perhaps a continuation of your Jealousy series? Canon S3 universe – Clarke, who is slowly but surely reconciling with Lexa, runs into Niylah in Polis. Lexa observes their interaction. Cue awkwardness and maybe a bit of jealousy. But, of course, Lexa would never admit it since jealousy is the product of weak mind or something like that. :)

Previously on Jealousy

The night was quiet, the hour so late that even those who fought against sleep failed against its power. The curtain danced in the breeze while the cold seeped in under it, freezing the concrete floor, slowly spreading into the room like a disease. It was no match for the bodies in the bed.

Taehyung has always loved boobs.

It has become apparent over the past few years of your close friendship that it isn’t even a sexual thing sometimes. He simply loves boobs. Perky, droopy, big, small, even man-boobs. He’s explained several times that “they’re just like, really comfy, okay?”

The sad thing is, you can completely believe him, and this is one of the main reasons why you choose to cross your arms when he begins pleading, unabashed as Jungkook and Jimin look on.

“Baby, just come cuddle with me,” Taehyung laughs, gesturing in a pitiful attempt to persuade you to join him, speaking loudly to be heard above both the pouring rain outside and the dialogue of the movie.

“Go take care of your boner first,” you retort.

Taehyung’s lips slip into an easy, suggestive smile, “Wanna help me with that? Or should I say… give me a hand?”

You stifle a laugh, “The only hand I’ll be giving you is my entire fist up your ass.”

“Damn baby, that’s a bit much. Can’t we just start with a finger?”

As he walked into the canteen he wouldn’t show it but he was scared. Most of the kids here were serpents. They wouldn’t appreciate a new kid around but this is where the powers that be wanted him. As he entered, one girl with the darkest mascara but the sweetest face he had ever seen stood up, causing the whole room to go silent, he noticed the jacket she wore - black leather with the serpents on the back probably like many others in the room but hers was slightly too big, as if it wasn’t hers,

“You’re FP’s kid, right? He stood in stunned silence for a moment,

"yeah?”

“Your dad did my dad a solid. My dad would have been sent down for a long time if it wasn’t for yours. I owe you Jughead, and I’m sure that a lot of these idiots could say the same.” the people around her agreed, various ‘yeah’s’ could be heard around the room, “it’s good to have you back Jughead. You’re one of us.” Two people parted on the bench near her, making space for him to come and sit with them, doing so without hesitation.

He laughed and chatted, fitting in like never before. He had noticed the girl who had stood up before watching him every so often, her face looked oddly familiar but he couldn’t figure out why.

She stood once again and people went quiet once again, they had serious respect for this girl, “Come with me, I’ll show you around.” he stood with her, only just realising how much smaller she was compared to him, she was even more beautiful up close.

“So you’re part of my dads 'gang’ then?” he asked jokingly,

“kind of, It’s my brothers jacket - you know him, actually. Joaquin, he’s with Kevin.”
“How come you wear it?”

“I haven’t got mine yet, your dad always wanted to give me mine himself. So I’m waiting for him to get out.”
“Sounds like my dad prefers you to me.” he murmured, “They all respect you, a lot.” she smiled a little,

“We’re a family, that’s all the serpents are. It’s your family as much as it is mine.” They passed through some doors and onto a yard that was surrounded by fences, very unlike Riverdale high. He smiled wistfully, the two of you remaining quiet as she sat in the grass and he leaded against a nearby tree admiring the way she would fidget with the edges of her sleeves.

“I recognise you from somewhere.” he questioned her and she seemed to panic,

“That’s because we have met before.”

“Wait what?” He was in utter confusion and she had to admit it hurt a little.

“Our fathers are good friends, you know. They’re close, like brothers.” She hadn’t really looked at him the whole time, “I was born two days after you, Jughead. We were children together.”

“Why can’t I remember any of this?”

“I only really remember from photos and what your dad told me. After Jellybean was born, your mum wanted to move north, she wasn’t a serpent. So you left.” Jughead pondered over everything she had said, not really knowing what to say so nodded pensively, “as you grew up at Riverdale, your dad realised that you didn’t want anything to do with us, with the serpents. Then your mum and Jellybean left and FP had no one left. Jughead scoffed,

"Yeah, HE lost everything.”
“Your dad was so proud when you were born!” she accused, getting defensive, “It was me and my brother who had to check up on him. My dad who had to deal with him drunk.” Jughead looked down at her, his face blank, chewing his lip a little as she calmed down. “As he realised you weren’t coming back he passed the serpents onto Joaquin - me and him are like children to him as much as you are. Whenever your dad wasn’t around my dad would be in charge. FP had hoped he would pass command, so to speak, down to you but no.” she was fiddling with her hands, barley looking at him as he sat beside her, “after Joaquin came out your father decided it would my kids after him, if I ever had any.”

“Why wouldn’t you?”
“Because the person people wanted to be with isn’t around much.”

“Wait you would have had to be with some guy people chose?!”

“God no!” she almost screamed, “We’re a gang not some bloody cult” she laughed, even that was gorgeous and was the complete opposite of her tough exterior, “our families are close, we were close, that’s is the one thing I do remember, everyone thought that as we grew up we would be together someday but, yeah…” She trailed off, she had been getting quieter as she spoke,

“So we were meant to…?”

“Yes. We were close Jughead, really close.” she seemed vulnerable, she had lost that hard, confident exterior that she had shown in the canteen. “When you didn’t remember me, and Joaquin had to sit me down and tell me you didn’t seem to care anymore, hugging me as I cried over my lost best friend, telling me you weren’t like you used to be, you were no longer happy, It hurt me. I always remembered you Jughead.” she had a small tear in her eye as she pulled out a photo from her oversized jacket and handed it to him. It was him and her, about two or three years old, sat beside each other staring at each other with the biggest smiles of your lives on each others faces, holding hands.

“We were cute kids,” he smiled but it was only a fragment of the smile from the picture. He turned it over to find another photo, you were slightly older and Jugheads arm was around you and his lips were pressed to her cheek, at the drive in and his beanie wonky. “we were cute together.” he mumbled looking up at her. “Why can’t I remember any of this?”

“Your dad told me you began to shut everything out after you had moved. You only spoke to Jellybean and rarely to your parents. You apparently refused to talk about me or Southside or anyone else. It was like we had never existed. It got worse when your mum left.”

“How could I forget you?” he said more to himself, raking his hands through his hair after removing his beanie and tugging at his locks roughly. She leaned over, pulling his hands away from his head to stop him clawing too much,

“Jughead, it’s okay.”

“No it’s no…” he trailed off as he finally looked into your eyes again, his hands in yours and he remembered. He remembered her. He remembered how she would laugh as he attacked her with tickles or how she would sneak into the drive in with his family, staying over because his parents were like a second family to her. He remembered how she had given him this beanie…

“Y/N?” Veronica called, closing the front door behind her. She wandered around the girls’ house and made her way to her bedroom, slowly opening the door. She found her sleeping peacefully in her bed, her (Y/H/C) hair sprawled out across her pillow and her face buried in her comforter. Veronica smiled softly at the sight, she looked so happy and she felt bad that she was about to ruin it. She didn’t want to do it, but Y/N deserved to know, she had been lied to long enough.

“Y/N?” Veronica whispered, and the girl stirred in her sleep.

    “Hmmm?”

"You need to wake up, I have to tell you something.“ Veronica said, and Y/N slowly sat up, stretching and yawning.

"What’s so important it couldn’t have waited until I had woken up on my own?” she asked, slightly annoyed. Veronica gave a small laugh, and sat on the edge of her bed.

“Its about Jughead.” She said softly, and Y/Ns face fell, worry taking over.

“Oh my god, is he okay?” Veronica took Y/Ns hand in hers and sighed, nodding her head. “Then what’s going on?”

“Sweetie, I know that you and Jughead have been dating for a very long while…” Veronica started, and Y/N nodded her head.

“Yeah, we have. We love each other very much. I’m in love with him.” she replied, smiling softly to herself, and Veronicas face fell.

“Y/N, I hate that I have to be the one to give you this news… the only one who knows that I’m doing this is Kevin, who said he wanted to be here for you but this morning his dad dragged him to the station for some extra hands on deck. Everyone else wanted to keep this a secret, they said because it was done and over with there was no need for you to know and get hurt.” Veronica said, rubbing circles on the Y/Ns hand, and she looked confused at the raven-haired girl in front of her.

“Veronica, whats going on?” she asked.

“Y/N, sweetie, Jughead-” Just then Y/Ns phone started to ring, and she picked it up off the bed and looked at the caller ID.

“Its Jughead.” She said, and Veronica looked worriedly at the girl. “I’m going to answer it.”

“Put it on speaker please.” Veronica asked, and Y/N agreed.

“Hey Juggie.” She said, placing the phone on the bed in between her and Veronica.

    “Is Veronica with you?”

“Well Good Morning to you too. And yes, she is.”

“What are you two doing?” he asked, and Y/N and Veronica could tell he was worried.

“We’re about to have a very important talk, so if you could get off the phone Jughead, that would be great.” Veronica called out, and Y/N shot her another confused look.

“Veronica, please don’t do this. At least lets talk about this before we make a decision we might regret.” He pleaded and Veronica rolled her eyes.

“Don’t you think you’ve already made one of those? Its time to man up and admit your wrong doings Jughead, she deserves to know.” She snapped.

“Someone better tell me what the hell is going on, right now!” Y/N yelled, and the two raven-haired kids fell silent, both waiting for the other one to speak. They sat there not speaking for a minute, awkwardly and uncomfortably.

    “Veronica please don-”

“Jughead cheated on you, Y/N.” Veronica quickly spat out, and Y/N felt as her heart sank to her stomach. She looked to Veronica, and her eyes started to spill with tears but no sound came out.

“Y/N, it was just once and it was a mistake. I am so sorry.” He said from the other side of the phone, and anybody listening could obviously tell he was crying.

“With Betty. They got together one night after you and Jughead had a fight and things…escalated.” Veronica added, and Y/Ns face fell into her hands.

“Y/N please say something. Anything?” he sobbed.

“Juggie, it’s going to be okay…” Bettys voice came from the other side of the phone, barely a whisper and it set Y/N off.

“Oh, so she’s with you right now too?” she asked angrily, and Veronica grabbed hold of Y/Ns hand, but she quickly ripped it away.

“She’s here because Archie called us saying that Veronica was on her way to tell you. Archie is here too.” He sniffled.“Y/N, please listen to me, it was a mistake, a one-time thing that I regret whole heartedly. You must know that I love you, so very much and that you’re the best thing to happen to me. If I were to lose you, I don’t know what I would do with myself. You are the only thing in this world keeping me sane and I- I can’t lose that. We were in love, remember. You and me against the world?”  he said, and Y/N broke out in an audible sob. “You and me against the world? You promised.”

“And you promised me that you loved me.” Y/N spat out angrily, her words slightly slurred by her crying.

“I do love you, I always will.” It was his turn to let out an audible cry, and Y/N shook her head.

“I don’t think you do. You went out and cheated on me with- with Betty. I am in love with you Jughead, madly in love, and you go and do me like this? We had plans together, we had dreams together, we were going to get engaged right after high school, remember? We were going to move far away from this god forsaken town and we were going to start over, you and me against the world! But now all of that’s ruined!” she cried, and Veronica moved over on the bed to hold the crying girl. “And you didn’t even love me enough to tell me yourself, not even enough to tell me in person. And Betty, we were so close and- and I can’t trust either of you anymore!” she buried her head in Veronicas shirt, holding onto the girl who Y/N felt was the only true friend she had, and Veronica smoothed her hair.

“It doesn’t have to be ruined, I still want those things more than anything, I still want to be with you. Please, I am so so sorry. Just, give me on more chance, that’s all I need. One more to make it right, we can do it right this time.” He pleaded, and Y/N shook in Veronicas arms.

“I think its time I hang up the phone now, Jughead. Give it some time, let her think.” Veronica said, reaching for the end call button.

“Veronica please don’t hang up, I need to know her and I are okay, I need to know if I still have my princess by my side. I can’t lose-”  His voice fell silent, and Veronica threw the phone onto the desk chair, far away from her and the crying girl.

“Shh, I know. You’re going to be okay at the end of this, I promise. You’re so strong.” Veronica soothed. She sat there an hour with the girl, running her hands through her hair and trying to calm her down, ignoring the tens of calls coming in. After her sobs had quieted down, Y/N sat up slowly, running her hand through her hair, and wiping tears from her face. They sat there in silence for a few minutes, until Y/N finally spoke up.

“I don’t know what I’m going to do. I love him so damn much, but I hurt so bad.” She said, sniffling, a tear falling down her face again.

“He loves you too, it’s obvious, but what he did is hard to forgive. I can’t tell you what to do on this one, this is something for you to decide.” Veronica whispered and Y/N nodded her head sadly. “But, who says you need to decide now? I brought ice cream over when I came, and I placed it in the freezer, so it should be cold. How about we watch some movies?” Veronica asked.

“Sounds good, thank you Veronica. I really appreciate you.” She said, and Veronica pulled her into a hug.

“I appreciate you too. And I will always be here, okay?” she asked, and Y/N nodded. “Okay, now lets go watch some movies.” Veronica said, jumping off the bed and making her way out of the room. Y/N stood from her bed and walked over to the desk chair, picking up her phone and looking at the many missed phone calls and texts from Jughead. She opened up her messages with him and typed out a text, throwing it back on the chair and making her way out of the room to Veronica.

To Juggie <3 :) – We need to talk, face to face. I’ve made my decision.
