Vodka

This is sorta lame and cheesy, but it’s basically just a fluffy Imagine about Tom being a cute boyfriend and taking care of his drunk girlfriend💗
Author’s Note: This is a oneshot inspired by sorta me? My mom had a party and made a ton of mixed drinks, and because I’m a dumb baby that never drinks, I forgot that vodka literally punches you in a face when you drink too much of it? Anyways, I got drunk and ended up crying to one of my cousins for about 40 minutes about all the reasons why I love Tom? Apparently, I’m even more cheesy and sentimental drunk than I am sober, who knew lol?

Vodka
She giggled to herself, ankles knocking into each other as she braced herself on the door of her apartment. She was absolutely, completely, and undeniably smashed. Truly, she couldn’t even remember how she’d gotten this way, but then again, she could barely recall her uber ride home.
Her hands kept shaking and she couldn’t find the correct key to fit itself into the doorknob. At this rate, she’d be out all night.
Tom paused the film he was watching and glanced back towards the front door. He was pretty sure that he could hear someone out there, but it was probably just their neighbor’s being noisy. Allowing the film to regain his full attention, he did his best to ignore the strange sounds outside, until he heard something that replicated her giggle.
His eyebrows knitted together in confusion. She was supposed to be at a sleepover with her best friends, not coming home at one in the morning? Tom got up and made his way over to the window by the door. Peeking out, he saw that the giggle outside indeed belonged to her, and she appeared to be struggling hugely with the task of opening the door.
Quickly crossing to help her inside, Tom yanked open the door and barely had time to catch her as she crashed in on top of him.
“Tom!” She yelped excitedly, making no effort to move off of him, instead cuddling further into him, while he laid sprawled across the floor with her lying on his chest. “Do you wanna hear a joke? It’s so dirty and I know how you love dirty things!” She explained innocently, her eyelashes tickling his neck.
Tom chuckled, “Darling, come on up here. We’ve gotta close the door.”
“Okay, I’ll tell you!” She leaned over him, “What did Cinderella do when she got to the ball?”
“You’re absolutely wrecked.” Tom laughed, taking in her mussed up appearance. She still looked good, how could she not? Her skirt was just shorter, her breasts were more exposed than she’d be comfortable with sober, and her eyemakeup was slightly smudged. Her hair tumbled down her back in messy waves and she teetered on her high heels.
If she had come home sober, Tom would’ve dragged her off to bed with him, but alas, she was drunk and needed to be taken care of.
“She gagged!” His girlfriend giggled, finishing up the butt of her joke. “Do you get it?”
Tom burst out laughing and cradled the back of her head as he rolled her onto her side so that he could get up to lock the door. “Yes, baby, I do. Where’d you hear that one?”
She didn’t even seem to have registered what he asked her because, in response, she said, “I don’t think I’d be Cinderella if I was a disney princess. She gags, but not me. I don’t gag, unless you make me.”
“Oh my gosh, you’re going to be so embarrassed in the morning.” Tom said, slipping his hands beneath her arms to pick her up. Helping her down the hallway to their bedroom, he asked, “Darling, how come you’re not with your friends right now?”
She blinked her eyes slowly and licked her lips. “We were all talking, and drinking. So, so, so much drinking. Did you know that vodka is strong? Like, it’s so strong, because, I’m not sure if you can tell, but,” She leaned closer to his chest and pressed herself up onto her tippy toes to whisper in his ear, “I’m kinda drunk right now.”
Turning his head towards her, he decided to play along, “Are you serious? I’d had no clue.”
“Well, yes! Anywho,” She dragged out the last letter of anywho before she tripped over herself again.
Tom caught her and slipped a firmer hand around her waist. “Anywho?” He pressed.
“We were all talking about our boyfriends, and how much we love them, because, I love you so much. And then, we started talking about the stuff we do with our boyfriends.” She paused in the hallway to poke Tom’s chest, “That’s my favorite shirt on you.”
“Darling, I’m not wearing a shirt?” Tom said, cocking his head to the side.
“I know,” She smiled, “That’s why it’s my favorite.” She gestured to Tom’s exposed midriff, “This is all great. Like, you look so good. The best.”
Tom dissolved into laughter and shook his head, “My silly, drunk girl. What are we going to do with you?”
“Well, you see, what I’d like you to do with me is make-out. That’s really why I came home. We started talking about some things,” She cupped her hand around Tom’s ear and whispered, “Sexy time things. And we all agreed that I should come home to you so that we could do the sexy time things. Because, I wanna do them, with you.”
Finally crossing the threshold of their bedroom, Tom placed her gently onto the bed and tried to ignore her last statement. Yes, she was his girlfriend. Yes, she’d just told him that she wanted him, and yes, he obviously wanted her too. But, she was drunk, much too drunk to consent to sex with him.
Tonight, Tom would be a good boyfriend and take care of her, but, in the morning, Tom would be a good boyfriend and he’d give her at least 2 orgasms with 2 advil pills to chase away her headache before breakfast.
“Sweet girl, we can’t right now. You’ve been drinking too much, you’re absolutely wasted.” Tom tried to reason with her.
“No, no I’m not. If I was drunk, could I do this?” She took a deep breath, “‘May I feel said he/ (I’ll squeal said she/ just once said he) It’s fun said she/ (May I touch said he/ How much said she/ A lot said he) Why not said she.”
Tom cut her off, “Sweetheart, nothing you say matters right now, you’re too drunk. Now just let me help you out of that dress.” Shaking his head, Tom laughed as he walked over to her with an oversized sweatshirt of his in his hand. Only she would be able to quote E.E. Cummings completely inebriated.
Kneeling in front of her, Tom lifted one of her feet onto his lap to unbuckled her high heeled shoe. Undoing the clasp and carefully removing the heel, he pressed a tender kiss to the top of her foot.
“You know, I like it a lot better when you’re on your knees for a different reason.” She pouted, sitting up to watch him.
Tom chuckled again as he began to remove her other shoe, “Trust me darling, so do I. Roll over-” He didn’t even get to finish his sentence when she interjected.
“Are you gonna spank me?” She asked, rolling over. Her tiny dress had ridden up even more and Tom had to bite down on his lower lip and clasp his hands together to prevent himself from doing just that.
“You’re making this really difficult.” Tom muttered.
“Then do something about it. I thought bad girls got spankings?” She teased him, eyeing the hardness growing within his pajama bottoms.
“Stop it, I’m trying to take care of you and you’re making it really hard.” Tom groaned.
“I can tell,” She giggled.
“For fucks sake,” Tom rolled his eyes, “I’m going to help you out of the dress, and that’s all the touching I’m going to do tonight. Then, I’m going to take off your makeup, and you’re going to go to sleep.”
“Tom,” She whined, wriggling around on the bed, “I don’t wanna. I want you to do me.”
Tom laughed, “You’re going to die in the morning, oh my gosh. You’re such a child.”
“Ugh!” She whined and flattened out onto the mattress.
Sitting down behind her on the bed, Tom rolled her over and unzipped the back of her dress. He did his best to not look, but the zipper kept getting caught in her hair, and he couldn’t ignore the soft skin of her back. He saw that she’d chosen to wear the pretty, light pink, lace bra that she’d been wearing the first time they’d had sex. Groaning over the memories, he helped her rid her body of the confining fabric of her dress and had slid his sweatshirt over her body.
She turned to lay on her back, “Will you at least kiss me?”
“Yes,” Tom placed a soft kiss on her mouth, “Do you wanna get up to go to the bathroom to take off your makeup, or do you want me to do it for you here?”
“Hmmm, here.” She sat up and stuck her hands inside of the sweatshirt, only to toss her bra off seconds later.
Tom’s eye lingered on her chest as he got up to retrieve her makeup wipes.
“I love youuuuu.” She said, hugging herself to his chest after Tom had successfully cleansed her face of all traces of makeup. “You’re my favorite, even though you refuse to fuck me.”
Tom tucked the duvet under her chin and crawled in behind her. He kissed her temple and curled an arm around her, “I love you too darling.”
He prayed to the high heavens above that she wouldn’t feel his excitement poking her in the back while she drifted off and into dreamland.

Shawn was sitting on the couch in the living room of his flat in Toronto, which he now shared with y/n, his girlfriend. It was almost 2am, he had his favourite guitar on his lap, scattered papers covering the floor and the couch. You see, Shawn had this amazing idea for a song and he’s been sitting like that for the past 4 hours, coming up with new lyrics to accompany the melody.

He has finished writing another line and was about to try it out with some tunes, but let out a long yawn. He shook his head slightly and run a hand over his face before getting up and walking to the kitchen to grab a cup of coffee, to keep him awake for some more time.

He switched on small lights that were placed underneath the cupboards, so that he can comfortably maneuver around the kitchen, without stubbing his little toe. He took out one of his favourite mugs, that you got him for your first anniversary, and quietly placed it on the hard counter. Then he took the right capsule and popped it into the coffee machine. As he waited for the drink to be made, he lifted up his arms above his head and stretched. He slightly bended to the sides and then moved around his shoulder blades until he heard a not so pleasent sound, but that little pop from his spine made him feel much, much better. Sitting for hours hunched over his guitar and notes weren’t doing his spine any favours.

The noises coming out of the machine made him close his eyes and take a deep breath, hold it in and then exhale. Then a strong smell of coffee filled up the room, immediately making Shawn feel more awake.

While taking the first sip, which just burned his upper lip, he heard footsteps and a soft voice calling his name, “Shawn?”

      “In the kitchen, love.”

A few seconds later y/n came into the room, dressed in one of his t-shirts and some underwear hidden underneath it, as it reached her mid-thigh.

“It’s late. Shouldn’t you be asleep?“

“I’m just finishing a song, I’ll be done so-”

“Shawn, it’s 2am. Baby, you’re overworking yourself again.” She run her hand up and down his back, his free arm wrapping around her shoulders, pressing her smaller form into his body.

Shawn pressed a gentle kiss at the top of her head, “Go back to bed, I’ll come to you soon.”

Y/n opened her mouth to say something, but a yawn escpaed her mouth instead so she shook her head. “Nah, you’re coming with me. I can see you’re tired, Shawn. Please, take a break and get some rest.”

Now it was Shawn’s turn to shake his head, taking three sips of his coffee. His hand was now resting on her hip and she wrapped her arms around his waist, sleepily resting her head against his broad chest.

“I can’t, it’s almost finished, I promise. Just one more hour and I’ll go to bed.”

Shawn heard a sigh leave y/n’s lips and then she stood on her tippy toes to press a little kiss just underneath his jawline.

“I’m too tired to argue so I’m gonna go back to bed. Come cuddle whenever you’re done, rockstar.” Shawn couldn’t help but smile and placed one more kiss on her lips, she hummed in agreement against his mouth, and then left the kitchen with Shawn following closely. He stopped in front of the living room when he saw y/n open the door to their laundry room.

“Love, that’s not our bedroom.” He bit his bottom lip, trying to stifle a laugh, watching y/n stop in her tracks, pure confusion written over her face.

She mumbled a “what?” and quickly switched on the light in the room to, in fact, be faced with a washing machine and a dryer.

“Dammit,” she said before switching off the light in the laundry room, closing the door and going now in the right direction.

“Goodnight, baby. I love you,” Shawn called after her, a smile on his face, a warm feeling spreading in his chest.

"Did you steal this?" Marichat

This drabble is dedicated to my birthday buddy, @captaincrazytwistnotreally! I hope your day is full of fantastic adventures! <3

“Did you steal this?”

Chat Noir put an offended hand to his chest. “I’m a superhero, Princess. How dare you?”

Marinette raised an eyebrow. “You didn’t actually answer the question, you know.”

“I didn’t steal it,” he replied, rolling his eyes. He held out the bolt of fabric. “Take it.”

Marinette eyed him suspiciously before taking the fabric. She danced her fingers lightly over the surface. “Chat, this is really expensive stuff.” She looked up at him shyly. “You bought this for me?”

He held up a finger. “Technically all I said was I didn’t steal it,” he corrected, “but yeah, it’s for you. Happy Birthday, Princess,” he grinned.

“How did you…” she trailed off, studying his face. “You’re a sly kitty, aren’t you?”

“I have my ways.”

Marinette returned her attention to the fabric. “This is so beautiful and way, way too much.”

“I thought maybe you could use it for that dress you were talking about. The one for the party coming up?”

“Adrien’s party?” Marinette shook her head. “I couldn’t.”

“Why not? I’ve seen your designs. They’re great!”

“I don’t know. I would feel like I was trying to show off or something,” she blushed.

“You should show off.”

“Yeah, but maybe Adrien’s first official birthday party isn’t the place to do it,” she countered. “It should be about him. He deserves all the spotlight.”

“I don’t think that’s really the issue here.”

Marinette pursed her lips. “What if I make the dress and Gabriel Agreste doesn’t like it? That would be embarrassing. And I’m going to be nervous enough without having to worry if my favorite designer likes something I made.”

Chat Noir frowned. “Why are you going to be nervous already?”

She shook her head. “Nope. Not doing this.”

“Oh, come on! You can tell me.” He blinked innocent kitty eyes at her.

She scrunched her nose. “You promise not to laugh?”

“Cross my heart.”

Her cheeks darkened. “IhaveacrushonAdrien.”

“You what?”

Marinette huffed, squeezing her eyes shut. “I have a crush on Adrien,” she repeated slowly. She opened one eye and frowned at Chat Noir’s expression. “You promised you wouldn’t laugh!” she warned.

He swallowed. “You have a crush on Adrien?”

“Big, massive, ‘I’m drowning, please help’ crush,” she sighed, sinking down to the lounger. “But I’m pretty sure he only sees us as friends.”

“Make the dress.”

“What?”

Chat Noir knelt down. “Make the dress, Marinette. And if Adrien notices, you’ll know he likes you.”

“How?”

“Just trust me.”

“And what if he doesn’t notice?” she asked quietly.

Chat Noir put a gentle hand under her chin, tipping her face up. “Then he won’t be worth your time.” He watched her for a moment, tempted to lean forward for a kiss. He stood instead, brushing imaginary dust off his suit. “You’ve got a dress to create and I’ve got a city to patrol.” He offered her a hand and she took it, standing on her tippy toes to kiss his cheek.

“Thanks for my birthday present, Kitty,” she smiled. She picked up the bolt of fabric and carefully dropped down through the skylight.

Chat Noir touched his cheek dreamily. “Don’t mention it,” he sighed.

“No, please! Please don’t hurt her.” Peter screamed at the top of his lungs as he was in his Spider-Man suit with his mask off, chained to the wall behind him. He was pulling and tugging the chains, trying to get out of them to hold his girlfriend.

Y/N sat before him, leaning against a wall not chained down due to the hours of torture she endured that made her body too weak to do anything. Tear streaks laced her cheeks as a man, with his back to Peter, was leaning over a trey of tools. "Now, Mr. Parker,“ the man turned around with a knife in one hand and electrically charged wires in the other, the man was the Vulture, “which one should I use?”

Peter screamed while he pulled at the chains again, his wrists bleeding profoundly. “You don’t have to do this Adrian. You don’t have to. Please don’t hurt her. You want me remember?! So, just hurt me!” Sweat was sticking to his forehead and tears were falling from his eyes.

“We won’t tell anyone. No one has to know what happened, if that’s what you want, just please stop hurting her.” Peter begged, wanting to end the pain that Y/N was feeling so intensely. Adrian sighed, putting the knife down on the trey, placing the wires in both of his hands. “Sorry Peter, but you know I can’t do that.” He stated with a hint of sarcasm. He then placed the wires onto her abdomen, smiling wickedly at her screams of pain.

Peter screamed with her, his eyes filling with more and more tears. Adrian pulled the wires away, tossing them recklessly onto the ground. He picked up two more weapons, turning to Peter once again, “I think you should answer me this time, kid. Which should I use to kill her?”  He pulled one hand out from behind his back, “this one?” directing Peter’s attention to the knife. “Or this one?” He asked, revealing his other hand to show the silver gun.

He heard Y/N sob, making Peter pinch his eyes closed. “Please don’t do this,” He whispered, looking up at the man with watery eyes as he looked at him from where he was kneeling.

Adrian ‘tsk'ed as he put the knife down again. “Why don’t you ever answer me? I hate having to decide these things on my own. You have no idea how hard it is.” He pointed the gun at Y/N’s temple, making her sobs turn even more frantic. “Please! Just stop this!” Peter shouted, pulling and tugging at the chains.

Adrian glared at him, shaking his head slightly as he looked back at the gun in his hand, “Too late.” Before Peter knew it, Adrian pulled the trigger and Y/N’s eyes closed for the last lime.

Peter screamed at the top of his lungs when he saw her body fall on its side. “I’ll kill you you son of a bitch! You here me?! I’m gonna fucking kill you!” He shouted while Adrian laughed menacingly. Before Peter knew what was happening, the man came closer and closer to him, everything suddenly turning black.

He sat up, sweat drenching has back with the pale moonlight shining through his window. Peter was letting out quick and jagged breaths as he threw the covers off his body. He stumbled out of his bed, searching for a pair of pants to wear. He pulled the grey sweatpants over his legs before throwing on his Midtown sweatshirt and stepping into his shoes.

Grabbing his phone and stuffing it in his pocket, Peter opened his bedroom window. Climbing out of the warm, cozy room and into the dark, cold night.

The walk, or run, to Y/N’s apartment felt like it took hours, even if it was only around 10 minutes. The entire way there, tears kept flying out of his eyes. Peter just wanted to see her, hold her and never let go. He arrived at her building, climbing up the fire escape that was by her window. He pulled the glass upwards, enough to get his body through.

As he steadied himself in her room, he was able to see her asleep on her bed. Her chest rising and falling as she let out short breaths. Peter sighed, taking off his shoes and climbing into the bed behind her. He held her body closed to his chest, placing his forehead in between her shoulders.

“You’re okay,” He whispered, closing his eyes as a few tears escaped. Soon, sleep met Peter’s mind, along with peaceful and happy dreams.

Y/N woke up the next morning when her alarm started blaring. She moved her body to turn of the noise but she wasn’t able to move far due to arms wrapped around her body. She looked over her body to see Peter, his soft curls covering his eyes while he snuggled closer to the pillow under him.

She stretched her arm further to turn off her alarm. She didn’t want to disturb Peter, but she had to wake him up for school. “Peter,” she whispered softly, shaking his shoulders a little bit. He stirred, pinching his eyes before slowly opening them. A soft smile appeared on his lips, “Hey Y/N.”

“Hey, Peter,” She chuckled, running a hand through his curls, “Why are you here? Not that I don’t want you here. His smile dimmed, "I just really needed to see you.” Y/N stood up off her bed, holding his hand to drag her with him.

“I have to go home, and uh, get ready for school.” He stood up and held her in his arms. She turned her head up, standing on her tippy toes to connect their lips together. Peter relaxed at the feeling, not ever wanting to leave her grasp. She pulled away, patting his arm lightly. “See ya later Spidey.”

The entire day, Peter couldn’t keep his hands off of Y/N. On the subway to school, he kept falling asleep on her shoulder. At lunch, he had his arm around her waist to keep her closer to him. When he walked her to class his lips lingered on hers longer than they usually did. He even gave her his grey sweater so that she could have a small piece of him while he wasn’t in her classes. In the classes they had together, he had his hand clasped around hers.

As much as Y/N loved the small acts of his affection, she knew that Peter was acting weird ever since she saw him this morning.

After school, Y/N went over to his place to watch movies, do homework and just hang out. It felt like the perfect time to ask him about how strange he’s been acting. “Hey Peter?” Y/N asked, laying on the couch with her head on his chest as he was playing with her hair. He mumbled a small, ‘hm’ admiring her while she turned down the volume on the T.V.

She sat up a little, turning her body so that she could make eye contact with him. “Is everything okay? You’ve been acting super weird today.” She asked as she was playing with his fingers as their hands were held together. Peter sighed, sitting up on the sofa, with his legs crossed. Y/N sat in front of him with the same posture.

He held both of her hands in his, rubbing his thumbs across the back of her hands, not looking into her eyes. “Last night,” he started, but cleared his throat, “I had a nightmare. A-A terrible nightmare. Vulture, he came back. And I don’t know how we go there but we were both in this small room. I was chained to a wall while he-he was torturing you.” Peter sniffled, and Y/N’s eyes softened.

“He held a gun to your head, Y/N. And he pulled the trigger before I could stop him,” he looked up at Y/N with tears filling up his eyes, “That’s why I went to your house last night. I was scared and I thought I actually lost you, Y/N.”

Y/N moved from her position to configure herself in his arms. His tears soaked her shirt as he nuzzled his head into the crook of her neck. “You didn’t lose me Peter and you never will.”

He leaned back, pressing his forehead against hers. “I love you so much.” He whispered, pressing their lips together. He loved the feeling of their lips together. It made him feel content with to world. It made him feel like he could do anything he wanted. They pulled away at the same time. “I love you too, Pete.” She smiled, joining their lips together again.

connor x fem!reader - seven minutes in heaven

Seeing Jared Kleinman and Evan Hansen at a party was a wonderful rarity. Seeing Connor at a party was even crazier. But seeing Connor at a party, enjoying himself with friends and not angrily smoking a joint in the corner of the living room until the host kicked him out? It was nearly unheard of. It was borderline impossible. And it simply made your heart swell.

Harry Styles imagine -

Your daughter turns up at his door –

You didn’t really know Harry. He had lived two doors down from you for the last 8 months. He had introduced himself to you when you had moved in and you frequently saw each other while entering and exiting the apartment building but you didn’t really know much about him. However with your frequent interactions, your daughter had become quite fond of him, especially because he was so nice to her and gave her a funny face or a big smile on the way past. She had even on occasion asked to visit him when she was bored, but had never really acted on it. She was only three after all; she didn’t really understand he was a stranger.

After a long stressful day of work, it had been a lot more stressful then usual, (difficult clients were the worst) and you had just picked up your daughter from day care. It was very late and you were very tired, and looking after a three year old on top of all that was hard, but you did it because she was the best thing that ever happened to you. Her father wasn’t in the picture, so you shared your little apartment with her and all her soft toys, and that was the way you liked it.

You got her situated in the living room with a bowl of pasta and went into the bedroom to get changed into something more comfortable, but instead decided to rest your head on the pillow for a moment. Only a moment later you’d fallen asleep.

After a while your daughter got restless. She hadn’t seen her mummy around for a while. She got up and checked the kitchen, and again the living room but couldn’t find you. When she was eating she was so used to you being in the room with her, that she couldn’t even think of where else you could be.

She began to get scared and upset, and didn’t have anyone to help her. That’s when she thought of Harry.

She stood up on her tippy toes, reaching for the door handle, and walked down the hall to his front door, softly knocking.

At first Harry thought he was hearing things. He had the TV on, but he was mostly looking at his phone, and the knock had been so soft he could have missed it. However when he heard it again he got up to investigate.

Opening the door he sees your daughter, at first he smiles but then is a little confused because firstly you are not there and secondly your front door in wide open.

“Hey sunshine,” says Harry. “What can I do for you?”

Your daughter looks up at him with wide eyes. “I can’t find my mummy.”

Harry looks at the little girl confused. “Why hunny? Where’d she go?”

You daughter starts to get a little more upset, tears starting to form at the bottom of her eyes, “I dunno. She gone somewhere I dunno.”

Harry looked at your daughter sympathetically. He didn’t know much about you but he could tell you were a good mum. He was sure you wouldn’t have just left her alone in the apartment.

“Well how about we go and have a look alright munchkin?” he asked. She just nodded in response.

He lifted her onto his hip and walked back into your apartment, knocking on the open door first, but receiving no reply.

Harry looked around the living room. He couldn’t see anything weird or strangely out of place.

“Where is mum usually hun? He asked your daughter in a soft voice.

You daughter snuffled. “I dunno. She’s always just with me.”

Harry chuckled under his breath. “Where’s her bedroom. Did you check there?”

You daughter shook her head. “No. Id fordot,” she mumbled into Harry’s shoulder, pointing in the direction of the hall.

It was then that Harry saw your sleeping form and chuckled under his breath again. You daughter squirmed and jumped out of his arms.

“Mummy I found you!” she yelled waking you up from your sleep.

You woke up with a shock, first from your daughter’s loud voice, and then because of the man standing at the end of your bed. It only took you a moment to realize who it was though.

“Harry? What are you doing here?” you asked running your hand through you hair.

He laughed. “Your daughter couldn’t find you so she came and asked for some help. That’s all. I’m glad you’re ok.”

You laughed and squeezed your daughter into a hug. “You silly billy! I was right here!” you giggled.

She laughed. “Sorry mummy!” Now that she had found you she was content and happy, going back to her dinner and movie in the living room.

You looked back at Harry. “I’m so sorry about that. She’s so silly sometimes.”

He laughed. “It’s alright. I’m glad she trusts me enough that she can ask for help.”

You smiled. “Me too. But I hope it wasn’t too much trouble. I mean she interrupted your night and…” before you could finish he interrupted you.

“I honestly didn’t mind. She’s very cute. Just like her mum.”

You smiled and blushed, a little taken for words. “Thanks.”

“Anytime. But maybe next time she turns up at my door, you can come to.”

You smiled. “It’s a date.”

“It’s fine Ronnie, you really don’t have to do that, I promise I’ll be fine without one.” Betty Cooper spoke softly, tripping over her own feet as Veronica dragged her through the florist, her eyes determined as the raven haired teen held up a swatch of fabric.

“I don’t care what you think B, the corsage is one of the most important pieces of the entire Prom ensemble, leave it to me, I’ll find the perfect one, it’ll match your dress, stop questioning me, this is what I was born to do.” Veronica gave a dramatic flourish and tugged Betty through the next aisle.

The blonde smiled gently at her best friend
“I really appreciate this V but won’t it be a little weird for me to show up with a corsage when I don’t even.. I don’t even have a date.” She swallowed thickly, the hurt evident in her voice.

Veronica turned around quickly, her arms wrapping around the defeated girl next door.
“Listen to me Betty Cooper, you’re beautiful and strong and kind and jug because you’re stupid gang banger of a boyfriend forgot about prom doesn’t mean I’m going to let him ruin this for you. I mean come on, you’re pretty much a shoe in for prom queen.” She pulled a handkerchief from her pocket and dabbed at the stray tear sliding down Betty’s cheek.

Betty sniffled, wiping her nose and groaning
“I don’t understand that, I don’t want to be prom queen. You would be so much better at it than me, or even Cheryl.” She picked up a yellow daisy and brought it to her nose, inhaling the sweet smell. “I love daisies” the teary eyed blonde sighed dreamily.

Veronica pulled the bouquet from its stand
“You’re going to be prom queen because you deserve it, you’ve saved Riverdale more times than I can count and there’s not a single person more selfless than you. Don’t worry I’m sure my boyfriend will be standing right beside you, remind me to Thankyou again for beating out Valerie Brown, no way I’m letting her slow dance with Archie.” Veronica growled.

Betty giggled
“I haven’t won yet.”

With a lazy wave of her perfectly manicured hand, Veronica brought the daisies to the counter
“Make these into the most beautiful corsage you have ever seen, wrap the rest up.” She slid her black card across the counter. “Facial time!” Veronica pulled the giggling blonde through the store as Betty rolled her eyes lovingly.

Jughead rubbed his eyes, instantly annoyed at the invasion of his sleep. He hardly got any as it is, he wasn’t in the mood for some old man Serpent coming over and asking for another favor.
Ripping open the door he raised an eyebrow in confusion.

“Arch? What are you doing here?”

Archie Andrews was standing on the front porch of F.Ps old trailer, his hand stuffed in his pockets as he looked at Jughead sadly, it had been atleast two weeks since he’d seen his best friend.

“Hey Jug, I was on my way to the shop and figured I’d come check up on you. Sucks about you and Betty, I’m real sorry man.” The redhead reached out and clapped a hand to Jugheads shoulder.

Jughead shifted uncomfortably in his leather jacket
“What about me and Betty?” He asked confused, his chest tightening in worry.

Archie nodded in understanding
“Yeah I get it, break ups are pretty hard to talk about, it’s best to just ask like they didn’t happen.”

Jugheads eyes went wide and he gripped the door frame
“We didn’t break up? Who said we broke up? Betty did?!” His eyes searched Archie’s face desperately as the quarterback seemed taken aback

“No, I just.. I assumed since you’re not taking her to prom and she’s going on her own… wait a second you’re still together? You didn’t ask your girlfriend to her senior prom? Dude what’s the matter with you?!” Archie’s eyes were angry now as he crossed his arms over his chest, disappointment evident.

Jughead wasn’t paying attention anymore, he felt sick to his stomach.

He had forgotten.

He had completely forgotten to ask Betty, he hadn’t even realized, Jesus he was the shittiest boyfriend in the world. “I’ll see you later tonight..” he mumbled, leaving his trailer door swinging open and Archie standing on
the porch.

“Looking good B Coops.” A deep wolf whistle came from her right and Betty smiled as Reggie Mantle stood beside her, slinging around her shoulders.

Betty laughed shoving Reggie away
“Thanks Reg.” Her smile was still fairly sad no matter how hard she tried to hide it, Reggie caught on quickly

“Hey, the dorks been through a lot of shit, word around town is he’s been busy with the gang, he probably just forget. I doubt he meant anything by it.” The jock shrugged his shoulders as Betty looked up at him, her eyes softened and she went on her tippy toes, pressing a feather light kiss to Reggies cheek.

“Thank you Reggie.” She spoke earnestly, shoving him gently “now go spin Josie around on that dance floor, she’s looking ready to bust a move.”

Reggie grinned,
“That’s my girl.” He ran to the dance floor lifting up his girlfriend and spinning her around.

Betty smiled and glanced down at the light yellow, strapless dress flowing around her ankles, the silver heels she wore made her teeter a bit but they looked good, her long blonde hair pulled up in a curly updo leaving her neck bare, a small silver chain with a tiny crown resting low on her chest. Betty’s fingers curled around the crown, her heart aching at the absence of her boyfriend.

Veronica chose that moment to come over and excitedly whisper in her ear
“They’re crowing prom king and queen! Come on, let’s get to the front.” Once again the beautiful dark haired girl in the deep purple dress pulled Betty through the crowd, where she listened to then dub Archie Prom King.

Betty clapped and whistled, her heart swelling for her childhood best friend, Veronica was shouting “that’s my boyfriend Baby, that’s right prom king?!”

“And now for our prom queen of the Riverdale Senior Class… Betty Cooper.”

An eruption of cheers overtook the auditorium and before she knew it she was being shoved into Archie’s arms, a crown being placed on her head as the pair was pushed onto the dance floor, a slow song playing on the speakers, Archie’s hands finding her waist as hers draped around his neck.

“Deja Vu” the red headed boy smirked

Betty laughed,
“I always knew this would happen, I mean not this way obviously but ya know. Wouldn’t it be funny If Jughead were here, he always used to call us the prom king and queen.” She giggled

Archie’s eyes found something above her head and he laughed under his breath, his hands tightening
“Looks like he is here.” He nodded behind Betty and spun her around, her eyes catching on the dark haired boy as he stood next to Veronica, his hands shoved in his suit pockets, he looked angry.

“What’s he doing here? And why does he look so mad?” Betty looked up at Archie and raised a brow at his wicked smirk.

“He’s jealous, let give him something to talk about shall we?”

Betty’s eyes widened before settling in understanding as she smiled

“We shall.”

Archie swung Betty around and she giggled loudly, the crowd awwing

Suddenly she was being spun out of Archie’s arms and into a very familiar pair of hands.

“Jughead? What are you doing here?” Betty asked confused as the raven haired boy tugged her tighter to his chest, Swaying gently to the music as he buried his face in her neck, inhaling the vanilla perfume.

“What? I can’t dance with the prom queen?” He pulled back and smirked nervously.

Betty tried to tamper down her smile but felt the corners of her lips pulling up
“I’m in high demand.” She teased, resting her head on his chest as fingers toyed with her neck, pressing gently on the pulse point.

“Bets.. I’m so sorry, I forgot. I wasn’t thinking, I’ve been so busy with.. ya know. And I know that it’s no excuse to neglect you, you’re the most important person in the world to me, I don’t want to lose you, I just.. I feel like I’m drowning here. I’m trying to balance these two lives and I’m failing, I don’t care about anything else.. I just..”

Betty cut him off, pressing a kiss to his lips and smiling when she felt him let out a breath of relief

“I get it. I’m not mad, but don’t ever feel like you have to choose okay? I’m here for you. Through everything.” She pressed her palm to his cheek and he sighed, pressing against her.

“I love you Betty Cooper.”

She grinned back

“Jughead jones, I love you.”

He spun her out and pulled her back in, her laughter filling the auditorium, his lips danced against her ear

“You look beautiful by the way Prom Queen.”

Betty laughed
“Whats a queen without her king?”

Jughead eyes shifted to Archie who was kissing Veronica on the dance floor beside them

He felt Betty push tighter against Him

“I prefer the Serpent King to The Prom king.”

JILY CHALLENGE | @howlingremus vs @queensaphrodite
lonely hearts club (marina and the diamonds) + muggle librarian!au

for my amazing partner, @queensaphrodite! and for elena (@meraudurs) and nai (@hiddenpolkadots), for inspiring me to write and create (and for helping me edit this <3)

The library closes far too early, in her opinion. Sure, it closes at eight, and sure, maybe she ought to try just showing up earlier, but in her defense, it isn’t solely her fault. She only gets off work at five, and there are just so many books to read. How are three hours anywhere near enough?

She frequents the place almost every day, knows it like the back of her hand. But there’s something off about it today. Maybe it’s the fact that the historical fiction section switched places with the biography section, but that was last week.

Lily grabs her books and walks up to the counter to ask Peggy whether or not there’s a copy of Everything, Everything available and oh shit that’s what’s different.

There’s a different librarian - a bloke - at the desk, with hair too messy to be legal, glasses too outdated to be unintentionally bought, and a shirt too wrinkled to ever have come in contact with an iron. He’s the kind of fellow who’d be perfect as the main character as one of the books Lily wants to check out - maybe a Peter Pan or a Percy Jackson kind of fellow.

Lily blinks.

Well, fuck.

He looks up from fiddling with the cuffs of his button-down, meets her gaze for a moment, and cocks an eyebrow.

“You’re the first person under forty I’ve seen so far.” His voice almost seems to echo, and it’s much louder than most librarians tend to be.

Lily can’t even tell if he’s being dense or just kind of cocky, but she’ll place her bet on the latter. It’s clear as day in the way he holds himself - self-assured, unashamed, even a bit arrogant but still good-natured.

She crosses her arms. “That’s not true, and you know it. You’re literally right next to the freaking children’s section.”

The bloke laughs, a sound almost out of place in this quiet library. She owes herself twenty dollars.

“Check and mate, I guess. But then again, it’s not like I can really see them.” He taps his glasses with a ridiculously long finger. “They’re getting smaller every day, I swear.”

Lily even smiles at that for a second, before stuffing it back where it came from. This arrogant, loud-mouthed (they’re in a fucking library, has he no sense of volume?), far-too-handsome idiot has no place in this library of hers.

(All the same, she wouldn’t mind reading about someone like him.)

“Yeah, sure” she says, quickly, trying to get to the point. “Listen, do you guys have another copy of Everything, Everything?”

He shrugs. “Hell if I know.”

Lily is done with this bloke. She makes her way around the desk to where he’s sitting, pushes away his chair (“Oi, what d’ya think you’re doing?” but he doesn’t sound particularly annoyed, just curious), opens up the catalog page on the monitor in front of him (the first thing she sees when she opens it up is a March Madness bracket - she now kind-of-sort-of-really wants to punch the guy), and soundlessly types in the words Everything, Everything.

No more copies available, but there’s one currently on hold. And it’s not hers. Damnit.

The guy standing behind her takes a look at her screen, and she can hear him let out a breath. “Oh, shit, that book? Isn’t that the one with like the mysterious guy and the girl who’s supposed to be sick but - “

Lily hastily shoves out her hand, as if to slap it over his rambling mouth. “No spoilers!” she all but yells. And she realizes that she’s being such a hypocrite right now, so she adds, a little bit more quietly, “Please.”

The bloke smirks, like he knows exactly what she’s thinking. “Alright, then.” He peers over at the screen once more, and Lily presses the power button. She gets up, and moves over to the side of the desk that she ought to be on.

“Well,” she says curtly, trying not to smile (for some reason) at this endearing annoying stranger. “Thanks.”

He grins at her. “Don’t mention it.”

Suddenly, something occurs to Lily. “Hold on,” she says slowly. “You’ve read this book?”

For some reason, the bloke turns red. “Er - um, no? I got it for my friend…Marlene? And like I read the summary on the back -”

Lily smirks. “Liar. You’ve totally read it.”

If possible, he turns even redder - it’s quite a funny sight. “I was bored, alright? And it was lying around - I really had bought it for Marlene - and I…may have skimmed it?”

Lily laughs and tucks a strand of red hair behind her ear.  “Why are you acting so defensive? It’s just a book, relax.”

“Well, it’s not as good as the Percy Jackson series.” Besides the point, but Lily can’t deny that it’s true.

“Fair,” she admits.

She notices a watch on his hand (it looks extraordinarily beat-up, made of old leather and a face of cracked glass), and checks the time. Crap, the library closes in a few minutes. “I really should be going,” she says, making sure she has all the books she wants before turning around.

(She’s not sure if she’s imagining it, but the librarian’s face seems to fall slightly.)

Just as Lily’s about to head back, she hears a quiet “Wait.” She turns around.

“What is it?”

“Er.” The librarian looks…pretty sheepish, and he rubs the back of his neck. “What - what does it say on your shirt?”

Lily almost rolls her eyes, and she pulls back the cardigan she’s wearing.

I left my heart in a book,” the guy reads. He looks back up at her.

“Is that, like, for a book club or something?”

Lily stares at him in confusion. “Sorry?”

“The shirt - you must’ve got it from some sort of club.”

“I…got it from Macy’s? So no, not a book club.”

He looks quizzically at her. “You know, you should probably make that shirt a book club, then.”

Lily raises an eyebrow. “For hearts in books?”

“Yeah, something like that. Like, aggressive bibliophiles or something.”

She perches herself on the desk, her legs starting to get tired of standing, and almost ends up knocking over a stapler. “Who’d join?”

“I would.”

“Seriously?”

“Yeah, and I’d grab some friends, too. Get some drinks, maybe some fries, and master the art of abandoning our poor, forsaken hearts in some dusty old books.”

Lily actually lets out a laugh. “I - don’t think that’s what it means.”

“But wouldn’t that be more dramatic?”

Come to think of it, it would be. Lily tries to envision it, but the only thing that really comes to mind is some sort of cult with an obsession for Bram Stoker and Mary Shelley. And they, of course, take their fries with a small cup of blood.

Anyways. She shrugs, and gets off the desk. “You do have a flair for the dramatics, then. Say, who the hell are you?”

His hands fly up to his hair - for what, to make it even messier? - and ends up almost knocking his glasses off the bridge of his nose.

“Stop giggling, bloody hell. And it’s James.”

Against her better judgement (sod it all, rational thought), she reaches over and pushes up his glasses. His hazel eyes follow her fingers, and he looks a little bit cross-eyed. It’s all a little bit sweet.

“James, is it? Well, I’m Lily, founder of the Hearts in Books Club.” The bloke - James, now - snorts at that, only causing to Lily to giggle even more.

James looks down at his watch . “I think the library closes right about now, you’d best be off.”

Lily swears under her breath, and James raises an eyebrow.

“Now, what was that?” The accent he’s putting on sounds a bit like some old-fashioned English professor, which kind of goes with the button-down, but not with the hair. “You do know you’re near the children’s section, next to so many impressionable young minds - you wouldn’t want to give them the wrong idea -”

“Oh, sod off,” she says, but not before glancing over to see if there’s anyone under the age of ten watching them. She checks to see if she still has all her books, and actually turns to leave.

“See you, Jimmy.” She smirks.

“OI, WATCH IT!”

~

Once she turns the corner, she can’t stop smiling. And even once she gets home and picks up her books and tries to - tries to lose her heart in them, damnit, she can’t stop thinking of James and the Hearts in Books Club and that damn hair.

Fuck, she thinks.

~

Lily returns to the library the next day, of course - she needs to pick up the sequel to Six of Crows, the novel she just finished.

(And she may or may not want to see if James is there.)

(He isn’t. Peggy is back, and though she loves Peggy, she’s a bit disappointed.)

(What is wrong with me, she thinks.)

After finding Crooked Kingdom, finally, she traipses over to the holds section. As far as she remembers, she doesn’t have anything on hold, but it’s always good to check.

There’s a book in her slot.

Furrowing her brows, she reaches up (and, quite embarrassingly, has to get up her tippy-toes; damn her lack of height), and grabs it. It’s hardcover, feels pretty new, and strangely enough, it doesn’t have that clear library binding around it.

The cover reads Everything, Everything. It’s the book she wanted yesterday - the one that the library shouldn’t have an available copy of. Confused, Lily opens the front cover, and the first thing she sees is a little note on a yellow Post-It, scribbled in Sharpie.

Lily,

Can this be the first book of the Hearts in Books Club?

See you Thursdays and Tuesdays.

- James.

There’s a little smiley face doodled next to her name, and Lily feels a strange, swooping feeling that she normally only feels at the end of a really good book.

And oh, fuck, she can’t stop grinning.

(But maybe, when she gets home, it’s something more than the book itself - something having to do with the note on the inside front cover - that prompts her to read it over and over again).

(Maybe. Just maybe).

A Little Help

Hi guys! I wrote this on my phone and I haven’t been to sleep in forever, so I’m pretty positive this is just some rambly words about Tom and the reader wanting to be in a relationship, but being too shy to actually tell the other. So, instead, they just do small things to help each other out. P. S., Harrison ships it. I hope you enjoy!

A Little Help

“You need help, let me grab that for you,” Tom said, reaching up to plunk the novel from the shelf. “Which one do you want?” Tom asked, bringing a hand to rest upon her waist to readjust her position to point out the book she’d been trying to obtain.

She stood up on her tiptoes, eyes desperately seeking to survey the shelf clearer, “I actually don’t have one particular in mind, would it be a bother to just take everything by Pablo Neruda down?”

“Course not,” Tom said and easily picked all the Neruda’s out for her. “Who is he?”

Her eyes widened and she smiled, happy to tell Tom everything she knew about Pablo Neruda. “He’s a famous Chilean poet, I mean, he eventually went into the political field, but I mostly know him from his poetry. When I was in high school, my best friend and I were obsessed with a poem he wrote called, ‘My Ugly Love.’”

She was starting to ramble and she knew that Tom probably couldn’t give two shits about the ugly love spoken about in the poem, but she was so close to him and he smelled good, and his chest was firm when she leaned into him, so it would be a fair statement to say that she was beyond distracted. “It starts out-”

Tom didn’t remove his hand from her waist, figuring that if she didn’t like it, she’d step back from him. His gaze flickered from her lips, to the rosy flush gliding across her cheeks, and then up to her eyes. Tom drank in her words about Pablo Neruda, still not quite registering who he was, but still completely absorbed by her words.

As he listened to her, still holding an assortment of novels in his hands, he accidentally cut her off completely. “Wait, do you have it memorized?”

She was nearly positive that her entire body was tinged pink, “Yeah, I won’t bore you with the details, I just like the poem because it’s different.”

“No, no, tell me. I wanna hear about it. I just got,” Tom searched for an appropriate word. “Excited?” Truly, Tom had cut her off because she looked so endearing that he thought that he would physically blow up if he didn’t kiss her.

He loved it when she talked about stuff like this, he could tell it was one of the few times that she actually felt confident in voicing her opinions.

“My ugly love, you’re a messy chestnut.

My beauty, you are pretty as the wind.

Ugly: your mouth is big enough for two mouths.

Beauty: your kisses are fresh as new melons.

Ugly: where did you hide your breasts?

They’re meager, two little scoops of wheat.

I’d much rather see two moons across your chest,

two huge proud towers.

Ugly: not even the sea contains things like your toenails.

Beauty: flower by flower, star by star, wave by wave,

Love, I’ve made an inventory of your body.

My ugly one, I love you for your waist of gold.

my beauty, for the wrinkle on your forehead.

My Love: I love you for your clarity, your dark.”

She finished and looked up to him with a smile on her face.

“So, what do you think?” She asked him, reaching up to sift through the books that Tom had gotten down for her.

“How do you know the best of everything?” Tom muttered, eyes widened, because, as usual, she was right. The poem was supremely different from any of the traditionally romantic sonnets that he’d read.

She smiled and unwound herself from his grasp and wandered down the next aisle, in search for her friend and Harrison, who’d accompanied them to the bookstore.

Tom, still leaned up against the shelf was slow to notice Harrison’s approaching figure.

“Dude, you need to ask her out. It’s getting ridiculous. Everybody, even strangers, already think you’re together, so why not make it real? Not as if she’s going to say no.” Harrison urged.

Shrugging his shoulders and racking his brain for an adequate response, Tom eventually stuttered out, “you never know, she could just want to be friends, and then if I ask her out, then she won’t even wanna be that.”

Harrison rolled his eyes, “Well then, mate, better wipe that drool off your chin.”

The next morning, in a haste to open the door for her, Tom had accidentally whacked himself in the face with it. Now, he not only sported a bloody nose, but also a split lip. Still, he wasn’t complaining.

She’d freaked out when she saw the blood drip from his nose and the bruises already forming on his jaw and had rushed him home. She stood in between Tom’s legs, while he perched on her kitchen table, and held up towels to stop the bleeding.

“Tom, literally what the hell?” She murmured, gliding her soft palm across his lower lip.

“I told you, I saw a bee and I didn’t want it to sting you,” Tom lied. Obviously, there hadn’t been a bee, but he refused to tell her that he’d nearly broken his face purely to hold the door open for her.

“But I never saw it? I didn’t even hear one, and besides, it wasn’t like there were flowers around. Why would a bee wander over here?” She mused, walking to the fridge to grab a bag of frozen vegetables.

“No, no,” Tom whined, “Those will be too cold, I don’t wanna put that on my face.”

She pouted, “Too bad, let me help you! I don’t want you to be hurt.”

Tom hesitated, and then opened his arms and pulled her close to him, keeping a gentle hand on the small of her back. “Fine, fine. Just do it.”

She smiled and rocked up onto her tippy toes and pressed her make-shift icepack to his face. He didn’t even shiver when the frost-covered package touched his bare skin, because when she was this close to him, he could see the multitude of colors swirling in her eyes.

A week later, it was time for Tom and Harrison to, once again, travel for the press tour. Tom was gutted. He couldn’t imagine leaving her without explaining to her that he wanted to be with her so badly, that the mere thought of leaving her made him physically ill.

Little did he know, that she felt the same way. All he knew, was that he was going over to her apartment to give her one last goodbye hug while Harrison waited in the car.

From inside her apartment, she spritzed on Tom’s favorite perfume. Whenever she wore it, he always leaned into her more while they were in conversation, or fiddled with her hair more and didn’t pull away from her when they hugged.

She had done her best to conceal her nighttime tears with makeup and sheprayed that Tom wouldn’t notice them as she opened the door.

Tom stepped in quickly and before she even shut the door, Tom surged towards her. Bending down to her height, Tom threw his arms around her, ignoring that his phone had fallen to the floor.

“Are you alright Tom?” She questioned, hands stiff at her sides.

“Just gonna miss you loads and loads and loads.” His voice was muffled by her sweater.

Her arms wound around him, “You know I’ll miss you too.”

“I don’t want to leave you yet.” Tom pulled away and his gaze bore into her floor.

Taking him by the hand, she pulled him to sit down on her sofa. “I made you something to help.”

Tom curled an arm around her frame as she sat a heavy box down in front of him, “Darling, what is it? You shouldn’t have gotten me anything, I didn’t know-”

She cut him off by pressing a hand over his lips. “Promise to look at it on the plane?”

She looked to cute and eager and shy that Tom had agreed, and now, after finally boarding the plane, Tom opened the box.

Inside were all the Pablo Neruda books that she’d bought the day she read him ‘My Ugly Love,’ and a note.

The note read,

Hi Tom,

I’m just going to assume that you followed my directions and now you’re flying safely through the air, but if you’re not, and I find out, may Mother Earth save your soul.

All of these books were mine before yours because I wanted to give you something that would remind you of me. I wrote you little notes on all the pages, so it’ll be like we’re talking about them. I highlighted my favorite ones for you in pink.

Please don’t forget about me.

Tom scoffed, as if he could ever forget her. He opened the first book and quickly spotted the swirls of her delicate handwriting on the bottom corner of the page. It read,

Don’t freak out, some of the poems are in Spanish, but I made sure to help translate them for you in the margins.

Tom smiled and began to leaf through the poems, blown away by not only the words of Pablo Neruda, but also by her tiny love poems for him written so softly in the captivity of the margins that he could barely tell that they were there.

When he landed, he would make sure to send her some of his own.

Charles’s Bakery..

She walked down the cold, gray streets. Uncertain and unexpected gusts of wind came from all angles sending chills through her whole body. She crossed her arms across her torso, her hood up as she forced through the pounding winds and pouring rain. Of all the days to forget her umbrella she had to choose the biggest storm in the last 10 years. Still, she had to get home. She quickly and clumsily walked down the streets towards the train station she knew was still a good five blocks down the way.
She nearly toppled over, still wearing her black heels from her office job earlier that day. She wore mostly muted tones, blacks and grays. She wore dark pinstripe suit pants that were snug to her modestly curvy thighs. Above that she wore a heavy wool winter jacket, thick enough to hide anybody’s figure, with three big red buttons clasped together. Beneath the beanie she wore a long strand of black hair covered half of her face, a stark contrast to her porcelain white skin. She had a very young and cute face, couldn’t have been any older than 22. Despite the stylish outfit, her very square glasses looked straight out of a 2011 geeky phase.

As she continued to walk through the storm, ahead of her a power line slumped over crashing into a light post. She stopped in her tracks and let out a small shriek. Glass tinged to the ground below, metal shrapnel clattering on top of a parked car setting off the alarm. The next few blocks went dark one after the other as the power surged out. It was completely silent apart from the rain and howling wind. The girl looked around her, alone in a blacked out part of town she’d never been to before. The only source of light left was a neon open sign flashing across the street. The last building receiving any power. It was a small shop, surrounding the entrance were metal scaffoldings covered in tarps with a black and white sign reading “Under Construction”. The soft yellow lights were on inside, shining out onto the wet streets. The sign above the shop read “Charles’ Treats!” in big outdated lettering.

She weighed her options, biting her thumb. She had made up her mind and quickly jay-walked across the street in between two taxis that were stopped due to the accident up ahead. She made it underneath the cover of the scaffolding, and was about to push the door open when loud thunder rolled in overhead followed by the crack of lightning. She jumped and squealed again, covering her ears with her hands. When the startling sound had faded she opened her eyes and looked up once more. Stood before her was a tall figure in the doorway.

“Horrible weather to be stuck in, ain’t it?!” Yelled the man over the howling winds. She looked up to his face, which was cast in shadow by the lights coming from inside.

“Come inside, won’t you?” He asked kindly, outstretching his hand to the girl. She looked him up and down, before showing a small smile and timidly grabbing his hand. The man lead her in, holding the door for her as she stepped past him. It was a quaint little cafe. A big glass display that serves as an ordering counter to the left side of the room, a hallway behind the cash register that lead to the kitchen. To her left and right were metal tables and chairs, the floor an old-fashioned black and white tiling. There was a dark hallway at the back right of the store that lead to the bathrooms, a water fountain, and two swinging doors that read “EMPLOYEES ONLY, UNDER CONSTRUCTION”. She paid no mind to it. But what she did pay attention to were the revolving displays on the counter filled with various desserts. Her eyes locked onto a slice of chocolate cake, with what she assumed was strawberry glaze on top.

“You’re lucky I’m here huh? I heard the pole fall over a few minutes ago, sounded terrible. I’m glad you’re alright!” Said the man warmly, with a polite smile. He wore a white apron covered in various ingredients from throughout the day. He had salt and pepper hair, and a handsome face beneath a well-trimmed black beard. He was wearing a tight gray short sleeve shirt beneath his apron, and skinny jeans tucked into a pair of brown hiking boots.

“Name’s Charles, owner of Charles’ treats which is the fine establishment you’re standing in now.” He smiled with his hand outstretched once again.

“Uh,..Jennifer..Jenny for short” She said quietly, smiled awkwardly, and shook his hand loosely.

“I’m just glad you’re still open. Not many small bakeries stay open until nine in this area.” She said looking around at the paintings hung up on the wall. Charles’ eyes widened as he quickly jogged over to the wall, standing conveniently in front of the list of weekly hours that read ‘9:00am-4:30pm’.

“Yeah, hehe, you know…never too late for a slice of cake.” He laughed.
The trail of moving air he left behind him had a strong and enticing scent of butter. Jennifer closed her eyes, and uncontrollably leaned forward taking in a long whiff before regaining her composure.

“Well, your baking sure does smell amazing.” She said.

“Speaking of!” He replied excitedly. He walked down the corridor behind the counter and returned with a metal tray of small squares of layered cake on little doilies. Jenny immediately noticed the very same cake she had been eyeballing in the display, chocolate with a strawberry glaze.

“Would you mind testing some of these new treats I’ve been working on?” He asked as he set the tray down on the metal table.

“Oh..Oh, no no no I shouldn’t. I wouldn’t want to eat anything I haven’t paid for.” She said indignantly, still staring at the cakes.

“No, please. Free of charge. I just really need some feedback.” He said, somewhat sternly while staring directly into her eyes. She stood there, thinking about it for a few moments.

“Well, if you insist.” She giggled walking over to the table. She took off her messenger bag and set it down on the ground.

“You know you can make yourself comfortable, we have a coat rack right there for days just like this.” Charles said

“Right, good idea. No point in standing around in a soaking wet jacket.” Jenny replied. She began unbuttoning her heavy coat before turning around and walking towards the coat hanger. Charles watched her walk away, her hips swaying from side to side. The view of her form fitting pants was more than enjoyable. Jenny removed the Jacket quickly, her white dress shirt beneath rising slightly. Charles got a quick glimpse of her soft pale belly jiggle as she rose on her tippy toes to hang up the coat. She removed her beanie, letting her long black hair tumble down her back. Charles bit his lip and looked up to the ceiling mouthing the words “Thank you, god.”
She turned around, walking back to Charles bouncing for a moment before fixating back onto the cakes.

“So, which one should I start with? They all look so good.” She said as she sat down into her chair, scooting her chair in farther by bouncing. Charles noticed her cleavage peeking over the top unbuttoned button of her shirt.

“Yes, of course. I think you should start with the chocolate one there. It’s my new recipe I’m trying out. I think you’ll love it.” Charles said suggestively. Jenny didn’t notice the tone in his voice, she was too distracted by the array of treats before her. She lifted the doily into her palm, her purple painted fingers delicately scraping off some of the strawberry glaze before pushing the finger past her plump limps into her mouth.

“Wow, that’s amazing.” She muttered. She took a bite out of the cake and chewed for a moment before the sensation hit her tongue. The same smell from before, only now it was an even more intense taste. She swallowed the heavenly treat, the best she had ever tasted.

“Oh my god..” She whispered, goose bumps travelling up her arms.
“I never thought that chocolate and-”
“Butter?” interrupted Charles.
“Yes! Chocolate and Strawberry with that lovely Butter taste. That last taste really ties it all together.” She said excitedly, her eyes wide as she went in for another not-so lady like bite.
She scarfed down the whole thing before licking the doily clean of any chocolate remnants. She let out a small burp before leaning back in her chair, a small indentation of her belly button making itself visible against the white fabric of her dress shirt. Charles couldn’t stand it any longer.

“Try this one here, I think you’ll find it’s tastes even more tantalizing.” He said pushing the yellow cake with white frosting towards her. She looked it up and down and back to his eyes before she said

“No, I sh-” She suddenly stopped. She could smell the strong scent of butter emanating off of the cake. She grabbed it from his hands and instantly took a bite. All ideas of manners she had flew out the window once she smelt it. Her eyes rolled to the back of her head in pleasure as she continued to chew. Charles stood back, it was working just like he knew it would. He went to the kitchen and grabbed a room temperature pot of coffee off the counter and poured it into the mug. He walked over to her, the mug in his right hand before pretending to trip. He dumped the mug of lukewarm coffee onto her white shirt.

“Oh my god! Jenny! I’m so sorry!” He said, with a not so convincing fear. He quickly grabbed the towel in his pocket just like he planned and began soaking up the coffee around the table. Jenny sat there, cake puffing out her cheeks looking down at her ruined shirt. She set the cake down and began unbuttoning her shirt, still chewing while her eyes fixated on the cake on the table. She ripped the shirt off and tossed it to the ground, now she sat there in her thin purple tank top. She quickly grabbed the cake from the table again and began eating. Charles smiled smugly, grabbing the mug and taking it away. He pushed the tray closer to her and stepped back. He eyed her up and down. Her thick thighs were pressing against her pinstripe pants, the purple tank top she was wearing showed her pudgy belly off perfectly along with her large perky tits pushing out. She couldn’t care less about how she was dressed.

She continued to pig out, shoving cake after cake into her face. Over the course of about 5 minute she had cleared half the tray. Charles stood back watching her belly extend outwards by about an inch or two while she continued to stuff it. He watched her act just like the fattie he wanted her to, stuffing her face like an animal. Her tank top lifted at the bottom, exposing a bit of her pale stomach. Her bra became more and more visible as the tank top began to fit her less and less. Once she had finished the tray, she sat there catching her breath. She couldn’t believe that she ate all those cakes, in front of a man she met no more than 10 minutes ago. But the euphoria she felt from the dessert was still lingering. Charles opened the display on the counter and set down a full cake of the chocolate and strawberry glaze, the very same one she was eyeing from before. Charles walked over and clicked off the ‘Open’ sign in the window and locked the front door.

“Now now hold on, this one’s extra special.” He said as he grabbed the cake from her taking it to the counter. Her eyes followed it like a dog looking at a treat. He went to the kitchen and grabbed the warm pot of glaze, but not before grabbing a vial of golden liquid and pouring the whole thing in. As he walked out of the kitchen with the steaming glaze, Jenny perked up as she recognized the smell. He carefully cut one slice off the cake and put on a plate and poured the glaze over top of it. Jenny was salivating watching it pour, her eyes wide as could be. He walked over and handed her a fork. She cut a careful square off the cake and placed it into her mouth. Instant euphoria ran over her body once it touched her tongue. She let out a small moan as she chewed, her knuckles white as she crossed her feet in pleasure. She didn’t hesitate before finishing the rest of the slice and swallowing the masterpiece. Charles jogged over to the once dark hallway and flicked on the lights, unlocking the two swinging double doors. He returned to her.

“So, what did you think?” He asked pleasantly.

“It..It was incredible. I can’t bel-” She cut herself off. A loud gurgling came from her stomach. Jenny looked down to her belly, a lot pudgier than she remember it being when she got there. She placed both of her hands on the sides of her distended belly. Charles came from behind her and grabbed the chair, pulling her out from the table into the center of the room. The gurgling continued to grow louder. Jenny was puzzled as she felt the sides of her belly with her hands and stroked her thighs, entirely entranced by her body. Charles wheeled over an extra large leather office chair without armrests.

“Do me a favor and sit in this won’t you, Jenny?” He asked.

“H-Hey, what’s going on here” Jenny asked as she stood up from the chair. Charles held a small hershey’s kiss in his palm, the scent of butter rose through the air.

“Sit won’t you?” He asked in a stern tone.
Her eyes focused, and she waddled towards the chair taking a seat as he handed her the chocolate. She tossed it into her mouth and was met with the familiar euphoria, only intensified. She swallowed.
The gurgling in her stomach stopped entirely, met instead with silence. She suddenly felt the waistline around her pants grow uncomfortably tight. She tugged on the pockets, trying to pull her pants down to make them more comfortable. It was the she noticed it. Her belly was slowly rising. Her tank top began to pull further down as her midsection grew rounder and rounder. Her cleavage was more and more exposed as her tits began to balloon up slowly matching the speed of her tummy. She placed her hands on her belly, feeling it press out against her palms. She lead her hands down to her thighs which she felt rise and grow closer and closer together. Her breathing quickened in a panic. Her tank top straps began to groan as her tank top was simultaneously pulled down and stretched outwards. Her belly button was exposed, showing her fat round belly. The fat around her arms began to grow, making them thicker and thicker, working the way down to her hands. Her pants began to rip around her thighs, a loud sound of seams snapping. She kicked off her heels in a panic and began to worm around in her seat unsure of what was happening to her. A ripping sound came from the straps of her tank top as they fell around her. Her midsection that was blowing up like a balloon stretched it to it’s limit before it fell to tatters off her. She sat there only in her bra and what was left of her pants, growing fatter and fatter. Her waistline snapped, her pants slipping off of her growing body. Her stomach gurgled, her bra stretching and barely containing her giant breasts. She sat there ashamed, barely clothed by her panties and bra.

“Wh-Wha?!” She murmured, feeling her big fat body with her chubby fingers.

“You’ve been a real pig today, Jenny.” Charles said teasingly as he walked behind her.
“It’s only fitting you be treated like one.” He whispered in her ear as he pushed her towards the swinging doors. She was being wheeled through the hallway, covered in tarps and construction lights. Before finally they were in a large open room. It was as big as a gymnasium, and was entirely carpeted and covered with rose petals. But the biggest addition to the room was a large pink mass in the middle of the room. It was maybe 8 feet tall and nearly spherical. It was surrounded with wrappers and crumbs from foods. The mass was well oiled/shiny and looked visibly soft.
A sudden realization hit Jenny, and she was horrified. She began to struggle in the chair but was trapped by her own weight.
“No! NO!” She grunted through her teeth as she tried to move. Charles continued to wheel her towards the mass.

“Kristy? I have a new addition to the family..” Said Charles sensually.

“Oh, wonderful!” Yelled out a high pitched feminine voice excitedly. The mass began to wiggle from side to side. Jenny passed out then and there..

When She came to she was laying on her back against the carpet and looking up to the ceiling.
“Wh-Where am I? What’s going on?!” She yelled out as she struggled to move. Suddenly a chocolate fell from above and fell into her open mouth and down her throat.

“What the hell?!” She coughed.
A figure jogged past her and out of sight. Suddenly the gurgling sound returned from her fat stomach. An expression of fear appeared on her face as she lifted her head to look at her body. She could barely see over her mound of a stomach. She saw the flesh of her belly slowly begin to rise.
“N-no stop!” She cried out.
Her belly continued to jiggle and expand, growing fatter and fatter. Her bra snapped from her growing tits. leaving her entirely naked. Her body groaned and gurgled as she grew fatter and more gluttonous.
She saw Charles walking towards her with a device on wheels.
“Now you see Jenny, I’ve been watching you for a few weeks now.” Charles said as he struggled to get the device over the carpet.
“please stop it” she cried in-between moans.

“I noticed you began to take the same commute home every day, directly past my cafe. I saw your delightfully chubby frame stride down the streets and I knew I had to have you.” He said as he came into her vision to her left side.

“Have me?! What are you talking about?!” She yelled out frustratedly.

“Trust him! You won’t regret it!You’re gonna be so big afterwards ” teased a cheery voice off to her left, who she could only identify as Kristy. A large fat naked pink mass laid there immobile, her head and blonde hair stature a top the fat ball. What had he done to her? How did she get so huge? And how could she be okay with being a giant fat cow? All of these thoughts raced through her head.

“Getting you in here was the hard part, and now…Now this is the easiest part of all.” He smirked. A rubber tube with a silicon mask at the end of it was in his hands, and he slowly lowered it to her face. She had no power to defy him and no way to fight back. He secured the tube into her mouth and strapped the mask to the back of her head.

“Just let it happen, trust me. It’s amazing.” Said Kristy.

“Mmmm! Mmmmmph!” Jenny attempted to yell as she wiggled her feet and hands in defiance. Charles placed his hand onto Jenny’s belly and slowly began to massage it. With his other hand he nonchalantly flipped a switch as a golden liquid travelled up the clear tube and to the silicon mask. Jenny’s eyes crossed as she tried to follow the liquid, and suddenly the taste hit her mouth. It was direct from the source, making it incredibly intense, almost orgasmic. She instinctively began to swallow. She thought she was full before, but her body knew no difference and began to chug the liquid. Charles grabbed a squirt bottle from his side and squirted the same liquid into his hands before he climbed atop Jenny’s body. Her eyes widened as she looked at him.

“Mmmmph!” She tried to yell. He began to massage the liquid directly into her skin until she was shiny and oiled. His erection pressed deep into her soft belly. The action of her swallowing made her body jiggle back and forth like calm waves on a shore. She began to rise again as she felt the sensation from before. Her body began to gurgle and groan. She watched as her body began to expand once more, growing fatter and fatter. Her tits were soon to follow, growing larger and rounder keeping up with the pace of her belly and thighs. Charles rose more and more into the air as she inflated. She felt a pleasurable sensation down by her pussy as waves of pleasure ran up her body. Through the mask she still managed to moan loudly as she was turned into a fat blimp. She grew hornier and hornier, the feeling of herself expanding was like nothing she’d felt before.
Jenny continued to blow up as Charles rocked back and forth on top of her. She crossed her feet as her pussy became wet and sensitive, the liquid running down her fat body.
To her left she heard groaning and moaning coming from Kristy. She had the same tube in her mouth as she grew even more round, her hands flapping happily. Kristy grew and grew fatter and fatter. She sobbed to herself before pleasure took over. She was cumming, she couldn’t believe it. The pleasure rushed to her head combining with the euphoria of the liquid. She let go, a smile on her face as she stared up to the ceiling feeling her body expand widen and inflate. It was amazing. Charles climbed down as Kristy’s growing slowed to a stop.

“How do you feel now?” Smiled Charles.

Jenny looked up to him panting and sweating, catching her breath.

“…..more..” She said intensely, a devious smile on her face.

Title: Out of My League

Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Reader

Summary: Bucky’s been in love with Y/N for the past year, but convinced he’s out of her league.

Warnings: none. Fluff

Word Count: 683

___

Your name: submit What is this?

Bucky watched as Y/N effortlessly glided into the room – well as effortlessly as one can glide at seven in the morning, and began making herself a bowl of cereal. He admired the girl, quickly finding himself staring. He couldn’t help it, he’d had feelings for her for almost a year now.

It started with pet names – darling, honey, sugar, and continued to small compliments, and most recently to attempts at flirting. Successfully convincing himself as well as everyone else around him that he, James Buchanan Barnes, had absolutely turned to mush at the hands of this girl. Everyday he had convinced himself that today was the day that he’d finally ask her out. He just couldn’t do it, too many what ifs and reasons not to plagued his mind.

The most important one being that she was undeniably, easily, and untouchably out of his league. She was beautiful, intelligent, and a force to be reckoned with, why would she want to date him? All the trouble he’d caused in the past, the baggage he came with – why would she want that? Any of that?

Not to mention, he was scared – scared of how strong he felt for her, scared of rejection; and most of all, scared of hurting her as the Winter Soldier, or worse, Bucky Barnes. He couldn’t lose her, he would never forgive himself if she were hurt at his hand.

She was too wonderful for this world, all he wanted to do was protect her. If he couldn’t love her fully, then he’d at least take care of her – not that she’d need his help. He sighed as he continued to admire her.

Her H/C hair was pulled back away from her face and on top of her head today. He could see loose curls sticking out of her bun as she stood on her tippy toes to get a bowl. When she turned her E/C eyes were vibrant at the sight of him.

Its her hair and her eyes today that just simply take me away,’ He thinks to himself gleefully as she waves hello to him and plops a silver spoon into her bowl. “Hey, Bucky.” She smiles, her voice still laced with sleepiness and her eyes drowsy once again. Its the way she says his name that he can’t help, but smile, “Morning, doll.”

She chews her cereal before pursing her lips and resting her chin in the palm of her hand, “Doll? That’s new.” She smiles, eyeing Bucky. Under her gaze, he feels the need to fidget and avoid her eyes, but stops himself. Her E/C irises are staring into his blue ones and it feels suddenly as if she knows everything, “Bucky, can I ask you a question?”

He nods, ‘This is it. She knows, everything.’ She stared at him for a few more seconds before she speaks, “What do you think about the color red?” He sighs, but is still rather confused, “Huh?”

“The party. I still need a dress and I was thinking red.” She clarifies, spooning more cereal into her mouth. He nods slowly, remembering Tony’s party plans, “Red is a nice color.”

“Do you think it would look nice on me?” She asks and milk dribbles down her chin. The sight of her covering her mouth embarrassed and daintily wiping at it with at napkin is cute to him. Bucky chuckles, shaking his head, “You’d look good in anything, darling.”

Her smile brightens more at this, making his heart flutter. She seems satisfied with his answer so he gets up to put his coffee cup in the sink. He goes to leave when she speaks again, startling him.

“Will you be my date?” She asks and he’s not quite sure if he heard her right or if it was a mistake. “What?” He whips around and looks at the girl, sitting on a stool, her eyes wide.

“I wanted to know if you’d be my date, but if you don’t want to that’s cool too–” He cuts her off,  grinning, “I’d love to be your date, doll.”

“I was going to kiss him, but then Gemma texted me about going to Taco Bell, and, well, there’s this cashier that works there who is way cuter, so I bailed on the rest of the date.” Lily’s telling him this, aware that she sounds loopy, and she can’t help the blush on her cheeks but she’s also had a few glasses of wine, a few really meaning five, and really, it needs to be said. “So, anyway, I’m standing in front of this cashier guy and he really, really is cute. Like, textbook, chick flick, cute. Probably has a good shot at a career on Instagram. And he asks me what I want. And you know what I don’t want?” She pauses, doesn’t give him time to answer, takes another sip of the drink in her hand, drink meaning gin and tonic, and continues, “Him! I don’t want him! So, now I’ve bailed on my date to ask another guy out on a date and I go to ask this guy and I realise I don’t want to go on a date with him! He has to use a calculator to work out my change. I only paid with a fiver!” She throws her hands up and almost sends her glass flying and Sirius takes that as his cue to intervene.

“Hey, Evans,” he says, stilling her hand, “breathing is a vital part of staying alive.”

She looks at him with wide eyes, wide eyes meaning eyes that can’t focus on one thing. “I’m breathing.”

“Good to know.” He slips her legs off his lap and stands, cracking his neck, before snatching her glass from her hand. He downs it before she can protest and just grins at her pout. “Everything in moderation.”

“Including sobriety.” Surprisingly, drink never seems to hinder Lily’s vocabulary. It just makes her sound like a character out of an American coming-of-age film.

“Just one more date Derek, please!” Laura begged, following him down the stairs and waving her phone at his back.

“I said no!  You don’t know what it’s like,” Derek muttered, suddenly defeated.

Derek couldn’t resist a quick glance at the dating app.  Damnit.  Laura was right, as always.  The guy was gorgeous.  A mole dotted face with an adorably upturned nose smirked at him from behind a pair of square framed glasses, and he could feel his resolve crumbling.
