Hi! So this is getting rehashed and I'd love to get your opinion on it. The quote where JB says Frank sees Lisa in Karen, do you think means he sees her as his kid or something else?
The quote was some variation of seeing Karen as the type of woman that he hopes his daughter would’ve grown into – and a lot of people took that to mean that Frank sees Karen as a kid/a daughter figure. But, I feel pretty confident from just …. general evidence, that Frank meant he hopes Lisa would’ve grown into a strong, well rounded woman, who fights for the things that she believes in [even if it means calling him out on his crap]. And is probably kindhearted. It’s a compliment to Karen and to Lisa, both, and not a announcement that Frank thinks Karen is a child. I think Frank sees Karen as a purposeful woman who he admires. Which is what he hopes his girl would’ve been if she’d had the chance to live.
