she'll always be hillary to me

Women I Love |♥| Chelan Simmons

“When I was little, honestly, my role model was Shirley Temple. I always wanted to be Shirley Temple. I always told my mom that. Because she was so cute, she was so little, and the world was going through a big depression at that time and she just cheered everyone up. She just had so much personality and she could act, sing and dance and that’s exactly what I wanted to do. I always wanted a drink named after me as well.”

Schuyler Defeated, Reimagined.
  • Me: Since when are you voting Republican?
  • Friend who voted Trump: Since doing it put America on the up and up again!
  • Me: No one knows Trump's mind or ideology!
  • Friend: I don't need to know him, I just hate Hillary.
  • Me: Excuse me?
  • Friend: Oh, the Swamp thinks she's great
  • She'll always be adored by the things that she creates
  • But elsewhere--
  • Me: Wait.
  • Friend: People think she's crooked.
  • MAGA speaks to me, so I voted!
  • Me: I've always considered you a friend.
  • Friend: I don't see why that has to end.
  • Me: You cast a ballot for a man who puts the KKK in awe!
  • Friend: I cast a ballot and seized the opportunity I saw.
  • Me: I swear, your pride will be the death of us all.
  • Beware, it goeth before the fall.

It's legit scary to me how the media is still acting like Hillary is clearly winning. She'll win over Bernie by a few points and EVERY news channel I watch try to call it a "big win" when it's anything but. So many of them are still refusing to admit how tight the race really is.

They’ve always been on her side, and they continue to try and discredit Bernie as a dreamer of as being senile, and the poll numbers don’t support that narrative.

Hillary Clinton supporters can crucify me all they want for what I'm about to say but I don't fucking care. Hillary Clinton has never been nor will she ever be for the people. To true progressives that statement shouldn't come as a shock. Her hindsight is always 20/20 when it comes to all the mistakes she's made but her foresight is completely lacking. I know she'll end up the democratic nominee but the fact that she can't even beat Donald Trump in a hypothetical general election match up scares the hell out of me.
