she understands him

come back.

she never said those words out loud but they continuously lingered in the air between them. the air that was intoxicated with the lies he told her and the pain she felt. the air that stood in between of them like a wall, blinding both of them. she never had to courage to say the words out loud, not even after four glass of wine that made her nostalgic of him, his breath, how he smelled and how deeply he was loved.  she wanted him to understand the unsaid words with every blog post she wrote and every song lyric she sang but they all just went unnoticed. unnoticed only by him. she wished he could come back to her but with time she realised, some wishes never come true. some wishes, no matter how much you wish for them, simply never come true..

Sara Lance and Mick Rory’s Friendship gives me life.

They trust each other in dangerous situations.

Mick likes that she’s a bad ass and doesn’t interrupt her when she’s fighting until she invites him to.

She understands his general need to fight and keeps him in check…

and then gives him the opportunity to burn shit when she can.

He is 100% supportive of her bisexuality.

A healthy, non sexual, male-female relationship.

“Ready or not!”

I think the most beautiful thing about Diana is that she doesn’t fight the patriarchy.  She just flat out doesn’t acknowledge that it exist.  A room where women aren’t allowed?  Gender rules about sleeping with someone? Bruce grabbing her arm in a power play?  Diana’s all just, you’re doing what now? She’s a Princess and a Goddess, so way more powerful than you on any kind of scale.  She’s just gonna lol in your face any time the patriarchy comes up because she’s the most powerful person in the room at any given time, so she doesn’t have time for men to mess around pretending they have a say in anything she does.

I like the idea of ???% signing even more than originally planned, i think i’m going to do more!

嬉しい 大丈夫 | ごめんなさい

You remember the first time I drove you?

Yes. Of course. I remember looking at you and thinking: What a handsome man, that kind of face never gets old.

How right you were.

Bonnie, I HATE to ask this because I don't want to sound ignorant and I don't know if this is the specific Chinese dialect you speak, but is there any way you can accurately translate this? Supposedly its Daisy talking about r//eylo

first of all all written chinese is all the same so dw about it, second of all:

q: a lot of fans support rey and kylo becoming a couple - daisy, do you think it’s likely?

daisy ridley: not at all, it’s that simple. ‘the last jedi’ gave me a different feeling. the audience’s view of kylo ren will change. rey thinks he can be redeemed, and she understands him, i’m glad they can come to this kind of understanding, but in the end kylo is scum, so i think…

mark hamill: [laughs] “he’s misunderstood, he misses his father”

daisy ridley: (copying mark’s tone) “he’s just lonely”. so i think i can understand why fans would think this way, but i don’t support it

Took me long enough to finish this part xDD

Hear me out:

The rangers taking turns bringing Zack snacks when they train because Zack usually forgets to feed himself, too concerned about his mom to worry about himself.

They also pitch in to help pay for her medicine and groceries. Zack hates that because she’s his mom; his responsibility, but they do it anyways. With their help, his mom slowly gets better.

He takes them to meet her when she does, and they all immediately fall in love with her and she asks them if they would like to come over again later that week and cook dumplings.

They all immediately take up her offer and on Friday night, they’re all crammed in the kitchen listening to music as she listens to Billy talk about school or how much he likes Zack as a friend. Trini and Kim help her cook and tell her that Zack is one of their closest friends and that when she’s not around, he talks about how awesome she is all the time. (Zack doesn’t even deny it, he just goes “Yeah, Mom! I let them know how cool you are everyday!”)

Jason nods in agreement, and adds, “He’s such a mommas boy.” And all of the Rangers are mumbling in agreement.

Zack’s mom can tell that Trini and Zack are really close, and for a while she thinks that Zack might have a girlfriend until Zack accidentally lets it slip that Trini has a crush on Kim. (The next time they’re over, she notices that they come in holding hands)

Zack also explains to her that Billy is autistic and she still loves Billy as much as she does the first time she met him because “He’s a very charming boy.”

Sometimes after training they go to Jason’s house and Zack teaches them some basic Mandarin so they can communicate with her easier.

She thanks The Rangers for helping her and taking care of Zack when she couldn’t, and they all get a bit emotional.

EW Gets to the Real Good Shit

The aspiring Sith let his last bit of light slip away when he drove his janky, handmade lightsaber into the heart of his father, Han Solo. But there was no victory for Kylo Ren as he sank into the abyss.

Instead, he was humiliated. By a scavenger girl, of all things.

“He’s definitely been knocked off base,” says The Last Jedi writer-director Rian Johnson says. “The defeat that he had at the end of The Force Awakens, but even bigger than that, his huge defining act which, spoiler alert, is the murder of his father… that’s the more interesting thing to dive into. How has hedealt with that in his head? Where is he at in terms of that act and what does that mean for him?”

Johnson said Ben Solo’s shift to darkness is symbolic of “the treacherous road through adolescence” that Star Wars often explores.

“Kylo represents kind of the rebellious anger that you feel during that period. Honestly, sometimes it’s a healthy desire to push away from the place that you know, from the things that you came from. But he obviously does it in an extreme that’s not healthy at all.”

He said Kylo and Rey are “two halves of the dark and the light.”

Among their shared interests: She is an expert pilot, and in this film well see him maneuvering his own starship, the TIE Silencer, which is a variation on his grandfather, Darth Vader’s old ship.

Yes. He’s back. In a way.

Kylo Ren’s murder of Han Solo also makes Rey’s contempt for him much more personal. He’s no longer just a random madman terrorizing the galaxy. Rey has a grudge: He stole from her the father-figure she’d been searching for her whole life.

“She just doesn’t understand Kylo,” Daisy Ridley says. “When all she wanted was parents, why would a person who has parents do that? It’s so beyond comprehension, it’s ridiculous. So she has grief for the loss and then there’s anger. To be honest, she couldn’t understand doing something like that – let alone to your parents.”

Although his character is no more, Han Solo’s legacy lives on.

“Han, the ghost of – well, not literally,” Johnson says, interrupting himself with a laugh. “I don’t want to misguide. I have to be very careful with my words here. But a figurative ghost of Han had to be present throughout this entire film.”

‘My reason is I want you to be happy, Ross, and doing things you enjoy doing - and working hard and living hard. What I don’t want is to see you trying to do things you can’t do and having to do things you don’t agree with - and cutting yourself to pieces because of what you think is failure.’

twenty two

when richie tozier was nine, his father hit him for the first time. it was out of rage, as richie had thrown a stuffed toy back at him a little too hard.

when richie tozier was ten, his mother told him he was stupid. that she was trying to understand him, but he was too stupid for her to succeed.

when richie tozier was eleven, he had a stupid fifth-grade “relationship” with a boy in his class and they held hands a lot.

when richie tozier was twelve, his parents tried to send him to a gay conversion summer camp. he stayed in his best friend’s basement all summer instead.

when richie tozier was thirteen, he fell in love with his best friend.

when richie tozier was fourteen, he started showing up to school in baggier clothes, but they were the same clothes he wore the previous year.

when richie tozier was fifteen, he got suspended for three days and came back with a broken arm because his father was pissed that he’d have to deal with richie’s teachers.

when richie tozier was sixteen, he bought his truck. when he was sixteen and a half, he moved out of his house and lived in that truck.

when richie tozier was seventeen, he had to move in with his best friends. he’d almost died during a storm, and none of them knew what was going on. he’d switch between their houses weekly.

when richie tozier was eighteen, he started gaining his weight again. he started eating better. he stopped smoking as much.

when richie tozier was nineteen, him and his friends moved out to a bigger city and lived together.

when richie tozier was twenty, he cried in his best friend’s arms because it had been seven years since he fell in love and nothing helped ease it.

when richie tozier was twenty one, he stood at the altar, looking into the eyes of the boy he’d once pined for.

when richie tozier was twenty two, he was okay.

On Allura and Keith.

Because not everyone notices his low self-worth.

I think we all noticed that the only person that even tried to talk to Keith in s4 and remind him of his importance to team Voltron was Allura. It then occurred to me that she was the only one on the team that suspects Keith greatly underestimates his own importance.

This is not to say that the others don’t care about Keith, but nobody else had any reason to believe that he felt this way. Shiro has paramount trust in Keith’s abilities, Lance thinks he’s got it made because he’s so talented, and Hunk and Pidge don’t even seem to know him all that well.

But Allura was the one there with him in that pod in s2e6 when he talked about how the team needed Allura to pilot the castle ship while brushing off his own importance, and you can bet your life she noticed the stunned looked in his face when she implied the team needed him just as much. I believe it was then when she first realized that Keith’s opinion of himself is so low that he fails to see just how much she matters, even as a paladin.

From the look on Keith’s face, it was obvious that he’d never even stopped to consider it, and that’s something that the perceptive Allura didn’t miss.

She was also there later, s2ep12, when Keith volunteered himself to infiltrate the main galra ship to finish what Thace had started. You can see the shock and concern plainly on her face, especially considering how Kolivan had basically just called it a suicide mission. It affected her enough that she made the decision to approach him by the pods before he left. She took this moment not only to apologize to him for her unwarranted actions earlier but also to remind him that he was indeed cared for.

By this point, I think Allura realizes that Keith’s detachment does not stem from stoicism or lack of caring (she’s seen him care… she was the sole witness of Shiro and Keith’s hug in s2e9) but from his own lack of self-worth. This moment isn’t just about her getting over her personal issues and prejudice against the galra. It’s also about her trying to drive the point home that Keith is important to them, not just as a paladin or resource in this war, but as a person.

And then we see this again in s4e1:

SHE IS THE ONLY ONE TO APPROACH HIM without the intention of scolding him. She probably didn’t know that Keith had almost died, but she did know that Keith lost a comrade. Just from the soft “thanks” that he manages after, you can tell that he hadn’t been expecting that kind of concern and I’m pretty sure she knew that and provided her support as best she could.

She’s worried about the growing distance between him and the rest of the team and she tries to remind him that he’s important. The way she adds “WE cannot” at the end of her statement is deliberate. She wants him to understand that he matters to the team AS A PERSON, rather than just a resource. Sure, he’s important to the mission… but he’s more than that to them.

Keith seems to ponder over this, but the idea probably just seems too farfetched to him. The only person in his life that he thought for sure cared about him was Shiro and their relationship at this point in the series is so degraded that he just can’t fathom it. In his eyes, if Shiro doesn’t seem to care, why would anyone else? (This is not me saying Shiro doesn’t care, by the way. This is just how Keith probably sees it, especially after their last few encounters.) And of course, the distance keeps growing and Allura is the only one that seems visibly concerned and it breaks my heart.

After Keith confirms her worst suspicions.

And that’s when it fully hit her just how unworthy Keith considered himself of being the black paladin, the leader, and that HE WAS PLANNING ON LEAVING. She just looked like her heart dropped when it happened. But Keith’s made up his mind and Shiro gives him his blessing, so all she can do is support him and remind him again that they do care.

Allura was probably the only one aware of Keith’s low self-esteem since s2e6 and she tried her very best to make him see how far from the truth he really was, though Keith never realized this.

A side note, I think if Lotor hadn’t shown up at the end and stopped Keith from sacrificing himself for everyone else, she would have taken it the hardest because she knew exactly what would have been going on inside his head when he made his decision, and she couldn’t stop him.
