she says it like an invitation to a party

Last Night

Someway after an AMAZING concert you and your friend ended up on Machine Gun Kelly’s bus after the show.

Your friend had been hitting it off with Slim, she was the type of girl that did stuff like this every other weekend. Hook ups and A list parties, she was a damn model/video girl.

You and her had been friends for a while and she always invited you to these parties, but you usually declined. But when she said she had MGK VIP tickets you couldn’t say no.

You had been on the bus for a while just kinda there and taking it like the wallflower you were, blending into the surrounding environment.

‘Yo, you want a drink?’ you look up at Dub who was offering you a bottle of Ciroc.

‘Oh um thanks, but I-’

‘Will be taking that whole bottle.’ your friend interrupted getting up from Slim’s lap, she took the bottle and gave it to you.

‘Come on, it’s Friday, we are literally in the presence of party heroes. Pull that stick from your ass, put it back in tomorrow.’ she smiled.

You thought it over, it had been a while since you really let go.

‘Fuck it.’ you said as you threw the bottle back and started to down the whole bottle.

‘Oh shit, she is letting it loose!’ someone cheered.

You nodded as you continued.

‘CHUG CHUG CHUG! YEEEAAAHH!!’ the whole bus screamed as you finished the bottle.

‘WHOOOOO!’ you shouted as you stood up.

‘And here comes the beast.’ your friend smiled.

‘Damn right.’ you said as you pulled her into a deep and rough kiss, it lasted for a minute or so before you pulled away.

‘I needed that drink.’ you sighed.

‘Hell yeah you did.’ Kells said.

You look over and see him, you had been shyly looking at him minutes ago, but now you had liquid courage in your veins. Now you can really party with the guy of your wet dreams.

‘You have no clue, it’s hotter than the sun’d vagina in here and I’ve been in this shirt for half an hour. All these damn models in here, fuck that, deal with my normal people body.’ you said as you remove your shirt.

You looked down at yourself and giggled.

‘Why am I so lame when I’m sober? I put a on bra!’ you laughed.

Everyone was laughing and having a great time watching you ramble and flail drunkenly.

‘W-Why in the- what the hell are we doing in this bus? You cant do shit in here.’ you said as you headed to the door.

‘Where are you going?’ Kells asked.

‘Outsside to do outside stuff like…flips. oohh hopscotch lets all go hopscotch!’ you said excitedly as you pulled your friend along.

Right Now

Your head was pounding and you were sore as fuck from the neck down. You were in some random hotel room in bed, guess your friend dropped you here to sleep off the liquor.

‘What the hell did I do last night?’ you groaned as you pulled the covers over your head.

‘What didn’t you do last night?’ a deep voice said from behind you, followed by a arm being draped over your waist.

That sobered you up real quick.

You turned and what you saw nearly gave you a heart attack.

‘Kells?’ you gasped.

‘Mmmhmm.’ he hums as he pulled you closer.

‘U-um did we um…you know?’ you blushed.

‘We did, a few times.’

You looked anywhere but at him, your eyes landed on some handcuffs on the headboard.

‘Did you handcuff me?’ you asked.

‘You cuffed me.’ he said as he sat up a little and looked you, he lifted his hand and showed you the marks the cuff left.

‘Oh God.’ you groaned as you flopped back down, holding the covers close to cover you bare chest.

‘Leave it to me to have wild sex with a star and be too drunk to remember it.’

‘Well, I don’t need to be back to the bus for another hour, how about we try it again and I make sure you don’t forget.’ he said as he climbed on top of you.

So on the 15th this month my friend had a birthday party. We invited some mutuals along and had a good time watching anime, which she is a big fan of, and goofing off. We start off by watching a couple of spoofy shows like gakuen handsome, nyan sugar neko girls, and sugoi quest for kokoro (all are hilarious in their own way btw check them out if you haven’t already). We’re all sort of silly people and at one point we start to horse around say things like “wow you are so kawaii nya rawr” jokingly. You know, it’s the end of a long week and we’re all being a bit louder, rowdier, and weebier than we normally would be. So one guy mutual isn’t saying much-he’s a shy dude so we didn’t think much of it-but he’s on Snapchat and taking pictures/video a lot. No big, I am too. He brushes us off whenever we try to bring him into the fun (“hey x, who’s YOUR waifu?”) and even straight up refuses to eat any cake. Oh well, more for us! So the party goes on for a couple hours and we have a great time and go home around 11. The next day I check his story and it is no joke full of things like “the animation on this show is so cringey” (picture of gakuen handsome which is supposed to look bad?? did he miss the point or something) or “the people here just said kawaii unironically… Cringe” for about 15 pictures and video. And it’s like ??? ok you want to take advantage of someone’s hospitality and then insult them behind their back (only I have Snapchat and/or him added in the group that was there). What makes it worse is that one of the girls we invited, a grade level below me, added me and later posted something about “I had fun and made new friends! I’m so happy!” Honestly that guy was the real cringe and he sure as hell ain’t coming to no more parties with us

(Day 1)

She got invited to a party. She didn’t really know anyone except the host, but she went anyway, dragging two of her friends along. The house was crowded when they got there, smells of alcohol and smoke floating through the halls. She managed to stop Caspar who was hosting the party for only a moment, giving him a hug long enough for him to say “Good to see you.” Then, he was off and her and her friends were alone in the sea of people. Parties were never her thing anyway.

He got invited to a party. All of his friends were going to be there, and he was never one to turn down a night of music and alcohol. He was standing in the kitchen when she walked in. Whatever aura she had drew him to her. Her friends gave her winks and teasing giggles as he flirted up a storm with her, but he only noticed how her cheeks turned a faint shade of pink when he touched her arm. He knew there was a reason he liked parties.

(Day 7)

The boy was no longer on her mind. Sweet as he had been, she wasn’t looking for what he was. Caspar mentioned him in passing, something about a concert or a meetup or a party. She only caught his name and the way butterflies fluttered in her stomach without her control. He was not her type. He was big and famous and she was quiet and preferred the shadows over the limelight. He was a player. He was no good for her. She did not want him on her mind.

He thought about the girl more often than he cared to admit. While his mind had been on a quick night shag, one smell of her perfume and he was hooked. Caspar mentioned her in passing, something about lunch after a Uni class. He only caught her name and the way butterflies fluttered in his stomach without his control. He could not let the other boys notice. He was the one with the closed off heart. He wanted the hook ups. He did not want the boys to see that someone left him intoxicated, someone he had only met days prior. It was just an infatuation with a stranger. Nothing more. He did not want her on his mind.

(Day 26)

She saw him at a coffee shop. A journal on the table, a coffee half finished in his hand. Her feet followed her heart before her brain could stop them. She startled him and sat, striking up a conversation immediately. He was not her type. He was a player. She did not want hook ups. Maybe, she thought, he could just be a friend. Surely his player tendencies would not affect a platonic relationship. She was drawn to his laugh, the way his smile would bring wrinkles to his cheeks. She could see why Caspar was his friend. His number was in her phone when she got up to leave.

He was at the coffee shop writing a song and planning out covers he wanted to do for his channel. He nearly spilled his coffee when she sat down, startling him out of a trance. After so much time he nearly forgot how beautiful she was. No. He couldn’t think that way. Maybe, he thought, she could just be a friend. If Caspar could control his dick around her, surely he could too. If she was a friend, at least he could have her in his life somehow. He needed a girl friend anyway, someone to be his wing woman and introduce him to other girls. He was so drawn to her eyes, the way they would glow when she laughed or spoke excitedly about something. He could see why Caspar was her friend. Her number was in his phone when she got up to leave him alone once again.

(Day 53)

She set him up with one of her friends. Talked about how charming he was and how she would really like him. They were set to go on a double date. She was nervous, but pushed it down. He knew her. He knew what she liked in a guy and he’d never set her up with someone bad. The restaurant was lovely with twinkling lights and perfect wine. Her date was nice, but wasn’t exactly her type. She could tell her friend wasn’t interested in Conor, rather in the date that was meant for herself. Her friend left with Conor’s and the remaining two laughed about it as they both went home.

He set her up with one of his friends. Told him she was beautiful and extremely funny. He would like her for sure. They were set to go on a double date. He wasn’t nervous at all, rather excited. She would only pick the best for him, and he was sure she had great friends. The restaurant was nice but he could only focus on (Y/N). Sure, her friend was lovely, but dammit, why did she have to look so good? He could tell his friend wasn’t interested in (Y/N) and they ended up swapping dates by the end of the night. The remaining two laughed about the situation as they parted ways. He could only think about how many songs he could write about her laugh.

(Day 99)

She had a boyfriend now. He was lovely. Her and Conor were still close. Friend dates happened biweekly and she told him stories upon stories of her man. He smiled along, told her how happy he was for her. She couldn’t stop beaming. Surely he was the one. She couldn’t remember a time she felt so happy. She had her best friends, her Conor, and now her man. She was sure her smile was glued to her face.

She had a boyfriend now. He had to hear all about him on every friend date. He smiled along, told her how happy he was for her. He tried and tried to push those goddamn butterflies down, but they had a way of flying at their own will. Her smile lit up the whole damn world. Why did he never make her this happy? Why was he just the friend? He would always be just the friend, he knew. He glued a smile to his face, though it did not reflect the way he felt inside.

(Day 207)

She exaggerated the good bits to hide the bad bits. She tried to see him more often. Their friend dates were the highlights of her week, but she couldn’t let him know. After all, she said that the man had been the one. She couldn’t make herself into a fool by admitting she was wrong. She left out the bad stories and embellished the good ones, dragging them out so they covered up the messes. He did not notice.

She did not look as happy. They saw each other much more often. Their friend dates were the highlights of his week, but he couldn’t let her know. After all, she had the man, and he couldn’t admit that he had fallen for a taken girl. He could see her eyes did not glow when she told the stories. He wondered why he couldn’t be the one in the stories. He wondered why he would always be just the friend. He wondered if he could write a thousand songs for her to make her chose him instead. He was falling for her more and more everyday. She did not notice.

Day (365)

She broke up with the man on a whim. The bad stories were far too bad and she was in no position to suffer for longer than she already had. When she went to ring Conor, a notification on her phone stopped her. A new cover? He hadn’t mentioned anything about it. Intrigued, she clicked it. The song was of a boy who loved a girl who loved someone else. She put the pieces together on her own.

He got a call suddenly. He was reading through comments on the video when his phone went off loudly next to him. Her picture flashed across the screen. He did not want to answer it. Did not want to face the conversation they were bound to have, the rejection and end of friendship that was sure to come. He had to do it though. Had to be a man and answer it. Before he could even utter a hello, she spoke.

“We broke up.”

The words left her lips before she could even greet him.

He sat in stunned silence.

She spoke his name again.

A smile grew on his face, a real smile. The first one in a long time. With a newfound burst of confidence accompanied by those old fucking butterflies, he spoke.

“So, can I be the one?”

Also consider how many times Lena actually seeks Kara out, when a phone call would have been just as appropriate, even more convenient. She visits Kara at CatCo to invite her to the gala. Maybe she was already at CatCo for some reason, but Lena did say the reason for her visit was to see Kara. It would have been just as appropriate to invite her over the phone. A (most likely) very busy business CEO to make a special trip to a different building to invite a friend to a party? Totally should have been a phone call.

Her apartment. The fact that Kara isn’t entirely creeped out, I’d think, points to Kara giving Lena her address at some point. But asking Kara to get in touch with Supergirl. Easily could have been a phone call. Maybe she was worried about privacy, but I somehow don’t think that’s the case. Also, if Lena can get ahold of Kara’s address, don’t tell me the reason is she doesn’t have Kara’s phone number.

Also, she says ‘Sorry to keep dropping in on you like this.’ (or something to that effect). I mean, we know of one other time, with the gala invitation (I think?). I wouldn’t call that an excessive amount. Maybe Lena is just being polite, but they are friends, right? Lena considers Kara a friend. And vice versa I hope. My hope is that it’s happened more than we’ve seen on screen.

Lena just likes being around her future wife as much as possible. You can’t convince me otherwise.

Ok but!!!! I just have one thing to say!
Branch obviously has social issues, he can’t express his feelings, he isn’t very happy, and normal troll things make him nervous right?
But we also see that he obviously cares about others. He pulls poppy into the his bunker, he doesn’t make the other trolls leave his bunker, he warned them multiple yes about bergens, and he even goes out of his way to help poppy save her friends. I think he just has a weird problem with expressing himself. Like in general. And you can see he’d want to go to the parties he’s just not capable of having any fun there! Saying that, all the other trolls tune him out eventually knowing every time he’ll say no. But poppy, with her “no troll left behind” mantra doesn’t let him not get invited. She invites him to everything and never forgets his birthday.
And for a guy who’s lonely but doesn’t know how to ask to be accepted,I think it was incredibly easy for him to fall in love with poppy pre movie. And he didn’t know how to function so he just didn’t! She wasn’t even a huge part in his life, but the fact that she made herself apart of it even when he was mean and pushed her out was enough. And that’s so sad but that’s definitely what I think and I felt that it should be said 😂

A/N: guys, i’m so sorry that i haven’t been active for so long but i’m back and i hope you like this imagine

Here you were. You were at Lydia’s house where she was giving one of her ‘famous’ parties and since you had joined the pack, you got an invitation too. You can’t say that you hadn’t been excited. Of course you had been, for this being your first party ever. You had spent hours by searching for the perfect outfit and doing your make-up. But now you were sitting in a corner of the room and waited for this whole thing to end. Your head was aching because of the loud music and you felt like you were about to cry because nobody seemed to care about you. Of course you hadn’t a lot of friends because you had moved to Beacon Hills only some weeks ago and that Scott turned you into a werewolf had really been an accident. Before Beacon Hills Highschool, you had been at Devenford Prep. which was why you knew Liam but he didn’t really care. Suddenly someone touched your shoulder. “Y/N? Are you okay?”, Stiles asked. You smiled. “Well, this is my first party and to be honest I hate it”, you murmured and made Stiles laugh. “I know how you feel, Y/N. I’m not really the type for this either which is why we have a secret "club” for us party-haters", he explained and grinned. Stiles took your hand and pulled you up. He led you through a mass of people until you two got to a wooden door. He opened it and you followed him down the stairs.  "Everybody", Stiles began and you looked around the room. There were only two people you knew, Malia and surprisingly Brett Talbot, a former class mate of you, was also sitting on the couch. “Y/N?”, Brett raised an eyebrow before Stiles was able to continue. Stiles looked at you. “You know Brett?”, he wondered. You nodded while blushing. It was more than knowing him, you had always had a crush on Brett Talbot. “We had history, maths and sports together”, you mumbled and Brett smirked. “Uh-huh”, Stiles answered and focused on the others again. “So, um, this is Y/N”, he introduced you to the group. “Danny, Ethan, Cora and Erica”, he pointed at the other people. You nodded. “Sit down”, Brett smiled and you sat down next to him but not without your leg touching his. “Want a drink?”, Stiles asked and held a cup of beer in front of your face. You took it and took a sip. “So, guys, how about a game of Seven Minutes in Heaven?”, Danny asked and winked at Ethan. You smirked, knowing this game too well from your earlier high school slumber parties. “Why not?”, Stiles answered and caressed Malia’s thigh. “Do we even have a dark room here?”, Erica wondered and Malia nodded. “There’s a small storeroom right over there”, Malia explained and pointed to her right. “Well, I guess, let’s get started”, Ethan whispered and put a bottle on the desk. He grinned before spinning the bottle and it pointed at Erica. Ethan sighed, clearly disappointed before he and Erica left the room to spend seven minutes together. You looked at Danny who seemed to be really angry, with confusion. “Danny has a crush on Ethan”, you suddenly heard Brett’s voice whisper into your ear. His warm breath sent down chills your spine. “He’s – gay??”, you said a bit too loud. Danny turned around and laughed. “Yes, Ethan’s my ex-boyfriend”, he explained. “Well, I’m still hoping for him being my boyfriend again”, he added and you smiled at him. “I’m sure, he’ll be”, you tried to cheer Danny up and it actually worked. “That’s too cute, Y/N”, he answered. Suddenly something else got your attention; Malia and Stiles were making out. “I thought he was into Lydia?”, you wondered quietly. All of sudden you felt Brett’s cold hand on your knee. “You changed, Y/N”, he whispered. You blushed and turned your head to face him. “W-Well, I’m a werewolf now”, you answered trying to play cool. “That’s not what I mean, Y/N. You dress in another way and you’re not so shy anymore”, he explained, his lips getting close to your ear. The two of you were interrupted by Erica and Ethan entering the room again. Erica’s hair were tousled and her cheeks were burning. “Couldn’t stand her anymore”, Ethan explained and sat down. You could see Danny sending death glares into Ethan’s direction. “Talbot? It’s your turn”, Erica announced. Brett’s hand left your knee and he spun the bottle. After some seconds the bottle slowed down and suddenly it stopped, pointing right at… YOU. You could feel your heart starting to pound faster inside your chest. Brett got up and offered you his hand to pull you up too. He opened the door and both of you entered the dark storeroom. You sat down on the floor, cross-legged and he got down right next to you. “So, um, we have to spend seven minutes here”, you whispered while Brett lighted a candle. You looked at his face shining from the light. “I have an idea how the time will pass”, Brett said. “But you have to close your eyes, Y/N”, Brett said. “Um, okay”, you mumbled and slowly shut your eyes. You weren’t able to see anything anymore and you couldn’t hear a thing. Well, Brett was doing his job very good. After seconds had passed you could feel Brett’s warm lips against yours but before you could reply to his kiss, he pulled away. “Is this okay with you?”, Brett wanted to know. You smiled. “If you only knew”, you mumbled while nodding. He pressed his lips against yours again but this time it was more passionate. You could feel your own heart pounding like crazy but you could also hear Brett’s heartbeat getting faster. While his hands got to your hips to pull you closer, you could smell his cologne. Your lips started to move in sync. while you were enjoying the feeling of Brett’s smooth lips against yours. You could still taste the beer he had drunk but you didn’t care because there was something else you were tasting – him. He guided you onto his lap and you wrapped your legs around his hips, your lips never leaving each others. Brett slowly licked over your lips and you understood what he wanted. You opened your mouth to let in his tongue. One of your hands flew to his neck while you ran the other one through his hair. Suddenly you could feel his cold hand on your bare skin making you shiver while he was caressing your soft skin. You tried to pull him even closer but it was like the two of you were already melting into each other. Brett passionately bit your lower lip causing you to let out a small moan. But suddenly there was someone knocking on the door. “Um, guys? Time’s up”, Malia stuttered. You slowly pulled away from Brett and looked into his eyes. You smiled before you got up and waited for Brett. “Y/N?”, he murmured hoarsely. You faced him once again. “When I spun the bottle I immediately hoped that it would be you”, he admitted. You laughed. “Guess what? I wanted it to point at me… well, to be honest I have a crush on you since ninth grade”, you whispered. Instead of answering Brett pulled you in for a hug and rubbed your back, before his lips met yours again. “Guys, time’s over”, Stiles called, obviously annoyed.

Klaus Mikaelson was stunned by you as you stepped inside. Being friends with Rebekah and visiting at New Orleans, she invited you to the party they were holding. Mikaelsons were quite a famous family, being the originals and all, so you didn’t even considare to say no. And there you were, facing one of the Mikaelsons, staring at you like he hadn’t seen a woman before.
“Hello, love. I assume you’re (Y/N),” his accent brought goosebumbs all over your skin and that didn’t espace his notice, it only got him smirking even more.
Oh boy, this evening would be very interesting.

Theyna Headcanons

A/N: For percysbluepizza
- Thalia would be visiting Jason at CJ and then meet Reyna and ask Jason “How have you not banged her yet?” Jason would say something like “Lesbians aren’t interested in men,” and Thalia would jump for joy.
- Jason would be forced to be Thalia’s wingman. She’d ask Jason to invite Reyna over and Jason would be like “No way Reyna’s my best friend.” Thalia would be all “Help your sister get laid Jason.”
- I feel like they’d argue for hours then get drunk at party and end up making out.
- They are the most feared couple at both camps hands down. (They brag about it too.)
- They own game show night.
- They have extremely different music styles, but it has taught them to compromise.
- Jason and Thalia would so talk about Reyna’s butt. (#Children of Zeus/Jupiter)
- It was hard at first for Reyna to wrap her head around dating someone who is like 8 years older than her, but also younger than her. (And around her age for a while)
- Jason practically lives at their apartment (he can visit his Big/Little Sis and BFF at the same time) except when they kick him out so they can have rough (kinky) sex. Which is pretty often.
- I feel like Jason would try to convice Thalia to flirt subtly, while Thalia would challenge Reyna to a fight , then wink and slap her butt. (Reyna would be extremly confused and probably end up going to Annabeth since she and Thalia are BFFs).
- For a virgin huntress, Thalia has way too many dirty pick up lines (you bet she’s used every single one on Reyna).
-Reyna’s dogs adore Thalia because she brings them treats (even though Reyna tells her not to) and plays with them.
- They are defeating the patriarchy and making the world a better place one ass kicking at a time.

Warnings: Mentions of Klaus killing a witch

Breakfast was awkward. Your girlfriend and your best friend exchanging and rebuffing fake pleasantries as you ate. It was like watching a match of tennis, Klaus would say something to you and Rebekah would deal a back hand of a snide comment, Klaus would quickly retort with something snippy and the cycle would repeat.

“What do you think about the party Marcel’s throwing?” Klaus asked you with a smirk.

“Well…” You went to respond.

“That’s an excellent Nik invite my girlfriend to a vampire party.” Rebekah sighed with a disapproving look to her brother.

“She was my friend first.” Klaus hummed, knowing it always bother Rebekah.

“What were you doing hanging around a high school Nik?” Rebekah asked with a smirk.

“I was looking for a witch who wasn’t in school that day.” Klaus responded quickly. “But (Y/N) very helpfully told me how to get hold of her.”

“I didn’t, I said she lived in town.” You said suddenly interrupting the conversation.

“I know; my nasty big brother stole your best friend.” Rebekah hummed as she kissed your cheek.

“She deserved it.” Klaus muttered coldly.

“Can we go to Marcel’s party?” You asked hopefully.

Ooh, a dinner party. I’d invite Omega, because he’d probably be quiet for most of the dinner, and then he’d be loud towards the end. I’d invite a Menoptera of some description. Probably the Prince of the Menoptera, because Martin Jarvis who is the actor who played the Prince of the Menoptera does great impressions, so he’d be one. I’d invite Azal, who’s the demon creature who has horns and cloven feet and looks like the Devil. He’s not actually the Devil, but that was probably the inspiration for that. I’d invite Davros, because he’s good value, and he likes a chat. He’d keep the conversation going. I’d invite an Axon, because they’re rather elegant and beautiful and glamorous to look at and then they’d transform into this big mess at about pudding time. One more…Yes! Missy. Because Michelle [Gomez] is good fun, and she’d say funny things.

Halloween Party (Teen Wolf preference)

Scott - Lydia was having her usual Halloween party at her house and she invited a bunch of people/friends, including you. When you told Scott about the party he was more than excited to go.
“Scott, you ready?” you shouted from the bathroom so he could hear you downstairs. "Yeah babe, are you?“ "Yeah give me a sec" You headed downstairs and Scott was looking you from head to toe. His mouth slightly agape at how hot you looked in your Superwoman costume. “You like?” you asked, waiting patiently for an answer. “I..I..umm…I-I…mmhmm” was all he could say. You blushed at his stuttering. “Come on, let’s go to the party!!”. After about 10 minutes you arrived at Lydia’s house.
You entered and were greeted by Lydia, Stiles, Allison, Isaac, Kira and Liam. “Wow you guys look great!” they all said in sync while looking at yours and Scott’s Superman costume.

Stiles - You guys were invited to Lydia’s Halloween party and of course you would go! While shopping for costumes, Stiles stopped in front of a specific one. “Of course!” you said dragging the ‘o’ “I just found my Halloween costume!” Stiles said, smiling like an idiot in front of the Batman costume. “Ok, then let’s find mine.” you said. After looking for your costume, you just thought you’d take the one that matches with Stiles’. “Oh yeah babe! You’ll definitely take this one.” Let’s just say that when you arrived at the party, every guy was drooling over you causing Stiles to have his arm around your waist the whole night and kissing you passionately every now and then, showing them that you belong to him.

Derek - When Derek found out about the Halloween party Lydia was throwing at her house, he said “Absolutely no!” “But whyyyyyy Dereeeeek? We’ll have so much fun and everyone is gonna be there including Stiles, Scott, Allison, Kira, Isaac and Liam! Come on!! For meeeee!” you whined doing the puppy eyes to him, knowing he couldn’t say no to them. “Oh no, not the puppy eyes” Derek said, covering his eyes and turning around, eventually he gave in “Ugh! Ok we’ll go to the party.. But I’m picking the costumes!” “Oh, I have a baaaad feeling for this.” you said and he just smirked. After a couple hours he came with the costumes in his hand. “Oh my gosh, what did you pick?” you asked, afraid of seeing what the costumes looked like. “Well I thought it would be a great idea if we dressed as…KICKBOXERS!” you almost fainted at what he just said. “Are you serious?” “Yeah i am! Now go wear this! You don’t want to be late!” he winked and you just rolled your eyes. You got dressed to the costume and when you went back downstairs, you saw Derek in his own costume. He looked hot to be honest. “Wow you look great!” you said looking at him, he gave you a smile. “Well, you’re not too bad yourself.” “You’re kidding me right? This red skirt doesn’t even cover my ass! So, don’t get mad if any guy hits on me, because it will be your fault!” “Not making any promises!” he said and you got in the car, heading to Lydia’s place.

Isaac - Isaac was really excited to go to a Halloween party after so long. You were busy with your homework and you told Isaac to go get your costumes for tonight’s party Lydia was throwing. When he came back you were really curious about the costumes. “Y/N i’m here” you heard Isaac yell from the living room. “Coming” you yelled back. You surprisingly loved them when you saw your costume, which was a police officer’s costume, and Isaac’s, which was a prisoner’s costume. “Do you like them?” “Oh my god they’re perfect ! People are gonna be so jealous of our costumes” you smiled up at him and gave him a kiss on the cheek. “Did you finish your homework?” “Yeah, I did” “Ok, then go get ready cause we’re leaving in half an hour” “Kk” When you arrived at Lydia’s place, every guy was hitting on you and every girl was hitting on Isaac, but you turned them all down. Let’s just say that when the party was over and you arrived at your guys’ house, things got a little heated.

-Annabeth’s reluctant with the decorations at first but then gets almost as into it as Piper and they have the spookiest house on the block

-Every year Piper hosts a Halloween party at her father’s mansion where she invites a bunch of demigods and they play Halloween games, do creepy stuff, and of course spin the bottle which totally does not end with Piper and Annabeth kissing in a closet, do you think I’m saying that cause I’m not (I am)

-Annabeth loves warm hot chocolate by the fire while Piper loves the seasonal starbucks drinks (Fall is the only time she likes starbucks)

-They buy each other sweaters every year and they always make it a contest of who can buy the better sweater? (Annabeth almost always wins)

Even though Annabeth says they’re too old to trick or treat, Piper gets her to come anyways and the seven, grover, reyna, nico, and will all go in a big group (do these headcanons have a timeline? No. Do I care? Not really)

Piper and Annabeth have the best costumes each year by far. They’re always unique and absolutely terrifying

They cuddle on the couch with a blanket and a huge bucket of popcorn watching a scary/halloween themed movie at least once a week in the fall

-They take long walks through parks while holding hands and pointing out the different colored leaves, how they fall from the tree, and the scenery.

-They end up making a leaf pile and jump into it and run around like little kids (little bonus: Annabeth’s laugh is the cutest and most engaging laugh ever, just…Annabeth laughing…lay me to rest)

-They are the BEST at carving pumpkins, like seriously (HAHA PUMPKINPIPABETH SEE WHAT I DID THERE? Ok I’ll leave)

-Did I mention beanies? Cause beanies

-Their hair is tied back a lot because of the autumn winds whipping it back and forth

-They go apple picking together and Piper climbs the tallest trees and almost breaks her leg doing so

-“Piper I know you can fight monsters and stuff but I swear you’re gonna die up there.”

“Shut up I’ve got this! I can climb a tree!” Piper slips and nearly falls and breaks her leg.

“I didn’t wanna say I told you so but I told you so.”

“Oh shush you love me.”

“Well i’d love you a lot more if you got down from the fucking tree thanks.”

-Annabeth’s glasses (YES SHE SHOULD HAVE GLASSES THEYD BE CUTE AF) always fog up when she drinks hot chocolate and Piper laughs at her gf

Fall Pipabeth is the best Pipabeth

You weren’t particularly interested in meeting any of them to be honest. Your friend’s father happened to have a prominent position in Wayne enterprises, but could unfortunately not attend the Charity event tonight.

He had given her the tickets, and she had invited you.

“Don’t look so uptight.” She told you, pushing a glass of champagne into your hand. “I’m going to go say Hi to some of my Dad’s associates, and when I come back you better be tipsy and fun.” She’s half joking, but she’s probably right, you probably do look really nervous.

She leaves, and you’re alone.

Still sober, and still completely out of place.

When she asked you to come, you had though that maybe it wasn’t a good idea. You weren’t really used to parties like this, you were just starting to get used to cocktail parties. But you thought this might be your only chance to experience something like this. And when you started thinking of it like that, you almost had to go.

“This was a mistake.” You murmur to yourself, taking a sip of your champagne.

“Tell me about it.” You turn to your right and see a boy maybe only a few years younger then yourself standing, fiddling with his own glass of champagne. He’s pretty good looking, short black hair that seems to part in the middle, and vivid blue eyes. He’s wearing a sharp suit, and a air of gold cuff inks.

“Do you come to these places often?” You ask, just trying to make basic conversation. Taking  a thick sip from your champagne.

“Not really, Br- I mean- my Father does, and he brought me along this time.” You nod, your friend mentioned she used to come often with her Father as well, if for no other reason then for the experience.

Funny how things turn out.

“I’m (Y/N)” You say, holding out your hand.

He takes it.

“I’m Tim, Tim Drake.” His hand is cold and surprisingly rough for such a gentle looking boy.

“Well Tim Drake, it’s a pleasure to meet you.” And the smile on his face makes you glad you came tonight.

Hi ^^ Sorry It was clear but only in my mind haha :) So : could you do a reaction of Crush, Loco and Gray when they want to introduce their shy girlfriend to their crew / friends ? ( like the way they will do it, the place, what they will say etc .. something like that ^^ ) Thank you <3

Crush would invite her to when everyone was at a party together. He’d try to make her more relaxed by dancing with her and letting her see everyone getting drunk so she could laugh at their funny behavior. Overall he’d tried to make the experience really chilled and not make it seem formal so everyone could relax and get to know each other.

Loco would introduce his girlfriend to the aomg crew when they were all hanging out in the studio since everyone would be together. He’d stay besides her and would make sure everyone treated her nicely. If they started teasing him he’d go along with it so she would laugh.

Gray would invite a few friends out and would mention that his girlfriend was coming. He’d give them a warning that they better be warm towards her as she was nervous. They'd go out shopping together and then get dinner so there was time for everyone to get to know each other. It would warm his heart seeing everyone get along.

i just realized that the only other nice (or at least humane) interaction jonathan has with someone from his highschool is in the red room when he is developing his inappropriate pictures: Nicole, the red-haired friend of Steve and Tommy and Carol enters the room, and smiles to Jonathan and say ‘hi’ without any animosity or repulsion.
then, of course, she sees the creepy pictures and snitchs (i would have done the same tbh)… but, like Steve, i perceive her more like a follower of the real assholes (Tommy & his girl) than like a bad person -she doesn’t sit with them to eat at the cafetaria, she is not invited at Steve’s party, she is a photographer as well so definitely interacted before with Jonathan, and the ‘hi’ & the smile seem genuine.

so, tbh, i need more of Nicole in season 2 !!

[ honestly, i live for francis’ normal workdays. let’s remember that “mister d” isn’t just reba’s nickname for him, the very first time they meet and he introduces himself, she says, the same mister d who sends in the raucous when the requisitions are wrong? and like, he’s the director of one of the company’s departments, he probably hires employees and trains interns, and in the book the first time we meet him we learn that he was invited to a co-worker’s party. ]

Okay I know everyone is saying that if Audrey is happy then her new relationship with Gina is okay. But firstly I personally think that she’s a bit controlling and manipulative.

And there’s still questions to raise:

Why did she lie on the phone when Audrey asked her if she was at a party?
She probably was on the ferry to “surprise” Audrey. But then we see when Audrey in the beginning invite her to the Island with her friends. She said no but ended up going anyways, and in the process made Audre feel like shit cause she’s leaving her girlfriend alone all weekend. (Guilt tripping much)

Plus was Gina going to the island to spy on Emma and Audrey? We see her get all defensive when she asked Audrey who’s going to the island with her.

Where was she all day when she wasn’t spying on Emma and Audrey? If she wanted to surprise her she’d show up sooner. And in all honesty if she were scared and insecure about Audrey cheating then why didn’t she be open and honest about it. Instead she was being snoopy.

The most important question why did she have blood on her hands?
Some say she picked up the head, but though. We didn’t see Audrey pick up the hedge clippers and she thought they were props. And where is the sheriff’s body?

Could gina have moved it? And then this picture comes into play. What if Gina was the one who wrote NEVER on the wall with blood. There’s also a bloody hand print there.

Also side note: Could Gina have helped Alex in this murderspree? She was absent fairly enough. Plus why didn’t Alex, who’s in a fit of rage with a shotgun, not shoot at Gina? She could’ve been at least shot at, hit or not. But instead we see Alex ask Gina where’s Emma?

This is just speculation, but it’s still bothering me as of why did Gina have blood on her hands.

Request: Dancing Queen

Request: Can you write an imagine where Sam, Dean, and the reader have to go to a grand ball because they are hinting something there and the reader is sorta uncomfortable in the corner CUZ she is socially awkward (duh) and they all have to sorta blend in and the reader was forced to wear a dress even though she doesn’t like it and Dean sees her in the corner and invites her to dance and then Sam sees them and runs to them saying they have to stop because someone just got snatched by what they’re hunting

Word Count: 1,373

Here it is, I hope you like it! Thanks!<3

“Hey, kids, guess what?” Dean announces grandly, waving a piece of paper around as soon as the motel room door is closed.

Sam looks up from the laptop, raising an eyebrow, “What?”

“We’re going to a party.”

“Oh, no.” You groan, rolling over. You’d been lying on the bed, book held in two hands over your head. The book falls to the mattress with a sotfened thud, and you stare at Dean expectantly. “What kind of party?”

He clears his throat dramatically, “The McMilligan family extend their invitation to their yearly celebration!” Okay, that doesn’t sound too awful. “This year, the dress code is ballroom attire! Ladies and gentlemen, we invite you to our ballroom dance!”

“You have got to be kidding me.” The chirpy nature of the invitation coupled with the idea of a ballroom dance, of all things, fills you with dread. “Why the hell are we going there?”

Dean grins, “Dan McMilligan is possessed. Or, so we think,” He explains, sitting at the table across from Sam, “If he’s abducting these girls, he’s gonna do it tonight.”

Tonight?” You shoot into a sitting position, almost falling off the bed, “What do you mean, tonight?”

“The party’s tonight.” Dean says, shrugging, “What’s the issue?”

“Jeez, Dean. I don’t know. It’s only a ballroom dance.” You roll your eyes, “Do I have to go? I have nothing to wear and there isn’t much time and-”

“You’re going, Y/N. We need you on this one.” Sam interrupts, and Dean nods.

“Yeah, sorry, Y/N. Looks like you’re going shopping.” He says. You groan.

“Do I have to?”

“Yes!” The guys chorus, and Dean produces a credit card, “Knock yourself out.”

“I hate you both.” You mutter, swinging your legs off the bed and accepting the card, which reads ‘Donna Johnson’. You sigh, run a hand through your hair, and make for the door, “See you in a bit.”

“Don’t rush yourself!” Dean calls, “Find something pretty.”

You respond with a less-than-pretty gesture, and the guys collapse into laughter.

Two hours later, you’re in the bathroom, putting a pair of silver dangly earrings on. You can’t help the whirling in your stomach.

It’s not that you’re scared, because you’re not. It’s just that parties and social situations have never, ever been your forte. It’s why every time you knock on a victim’s door in an FBI getup, you’re crapping yourself, and why interacting with pretty much everyone but the guys gets you nervous. It’s not your area of expertise. You always feel like you’re going to do or say the wrong thing, like every conversation is awkward and forced…

You flick a curled tendril of hair out of your face, before stepping back to admire the finished product. You have to admit, the dress you found is utterly stunning. Full length, dark red. Its sweetheart neckline doesn’t end there, as jewelled lattices cover your shoulders in twinkling gems.

The bodice is fitted, but not flaunting, highlighting your waistline, and a belt of gems around the top of your hips marks the start of a skirt, which flows down to the floor. A set of silvery bangles jingles around one wrist, and earrings brush against your cheeks. Your nails are painted a matching red, and your lips are crimson. Hair falls down your back in curls.

You smile slightly, stooping to pick the silvery shoes from the floor. They’re higher than you’d normally go for, but you figured if you’re getting dragged off to a party, you’re gonna look damn good doing it.

“Y/N? You almost done?”

“Just a half second!” You hold onto the sink as you put the shoes on. Your first steps are slightly wobbly, but by the time you’ve scooped up your bag and made it to the bathroom door, you’ve steady on your feet.

As soon as the door opens, the guys’ heads turn. You smile slightly, stepping into the room.

“You guys ready to go?” You ask casually. Dean nods.

“Are you wearing heels?” Sam asks, and you nod.

“No. Not at all. You’re still not as tall as I am.” He teases, and you laugh.

“Obivously not. Hell, I’m not as tall as Dean in these.”

“That’s because you’re short.” Dean adds, and you nod.

“No need to rub it in. Let’s get moving.”

It was just as you expected. A hundred strangers in fancy clothes, milling about. The guys circle the floor, while you stand by the side, just watching. Waiting. You drink your way through three chutes of champagne, watching people twirling to the music.

“Want to dance?” You hear a voice from beside you and jump slightly. You relax when you realise it’s only Dean beside you.

“Nah, I’m good.”

“Y/N, you’ve been stood here all night. Doing nothing.” He rolls his eyes, “Look, you look… you look amazing and you need to chill. Yeah, we’re looking out but we’re having a little bit of fun, too. Jet loose, have fun. God knows we don’t do this very often.”

“I’m not 'just standing here’.” You say indignantly, “I’m looking out.”

“Well, I’m making you dance. Come on.” Dean takes your hand and tugs it expectantly, staring at you with a hopeful look on his face. You can’t help but smile.

“Okay, one dance.” You relent. He grins like a kid at Christmas and pulls you along, and you nearly stumble, “Dean! Heels, remember?”

He groans, “Hurry up!” He whines, wrapping an arm around your waist and nearly picking you up. You laugh, and by the time you reach the crowd of dancing people, your cheeks are flushed and you’re smiling like an idiot.

“See? This isn’t so bad.” Dean smiles, looping his arms around your waist. You clasp your hands behind his neck and you sway gently in time to the melodic music that streams through the room, from a live band playing in the centre.

“I suppose it would be worse.” You offer a smile, and Dean pulls you slightly closer.

“You love it.”

“Whatever.” You shrug, trying to seem indifferent, but you fail as you crack a smile.

“Sure, sweetheart.” He spins you slightly, and you laugh, your head tossing back. He can’t help but smile – your laughter just lights up the room better than any fancy chandelier ever could to him, and he can’t take his eyes away from you.

“You look amazing.” He whispers, “This colour looks amazing on you.”

You blush slightly and look down, “Thanks.” You mumble, “You look good too.”

He rolls his eyes, “It’s just the old monkey suit.”

“Yeah, but bow ties are totally your thing.” You raise an eyebrow, and Dean grins.

“I thought you might like it.”

“You thought right.”

He suddenly twirls you around, which is not at all what the other couples are doing – they’re just swaying gently, unassuming. As soon as you spin, though, they’re all looking at you – a fee chuckle, with murmurs of 'young love’, and a handful glare at you both. You blush.

“You need to not do that.”

“Why not?”

“We’ve got to stay as inconspicuous as possible, remember?”

Dean shrugs, “We are inconspicuous.”

“Not doing that, we’re not.”

“You enjoyed it.”

“No I didn’t.” You lie, and both of you end up laughing quietly. You’ve ended up so close to him that you’re all but pressed together, and you can’t help but smile at the thought.

You find yourselves in a comfortable silence, swaying to the music. I guess this is what 'having a moment’ is like, you think to yourself. It’s so nice, you completely forget about the hunt and everything else but you and Dean and the music, until-

“Dean! Y/N! I’ve been looking everywhere from you!” Sam grabs your arm, pulling you from your reverie, “Someone’s been taken, come on!”

You sigh and nod, breaking apart and following Sam – but not before Dean shoots you a look that clearly states, 'this isn’t over’.

Dylan O’Brien One Shot: based in a dream. Part 1

Note: I had this dream and it was one of the few dreams I’ve ever had that made sense and was a good story so I thought I should write it Here it goes. Oh and, hopefully Britt will never read this *or else I’d die of embarrassment*, but I’d like to apologize for this one shot but yeah, I really had to write it.

Part 2

Part 3

Part 4

You weren’t exactly the party type, you preferred to spend your Friday nights at home, eating junk food and watching a movie, but your friend had insisted for you to go, telling you how she had had to go to the end of the world to get you an invitation. According to her, it was a very private party but there would be a few celebrities there, so, in the end, you couldn’t possibly say no.

After going for a shopping trip, considering you didn’t have any type of party outfit that you could wear to a “private party full of celebrities”, you finally found something suitable; a long black, backless dress, with a bit of cleavage but not too much, and a split on the right side that ended mid-tight. You spent the whole afternoon getting ready, choosing to wear a pair of red sandals and your makeup was pretty simple; black eyeliner and mascara, a bit of foundation and a red lipstick. Your hair was in a simple, but classy, up-do, so you could show your back. You were ready to go when your friend called, saying she was waiting for you outside your apartment.

“Holy shit, you look amazing, (Y/N)” your friend commented when you walked out of the door.

Blushing slightly, you smiled “Thank you, so do you!”

As you go to your friend, she intertwined your arms together and walked with you towards the taxi “Now c’mon, the taxi is waiting. We’re gonna have so much fun tonight!” she said.

You chuckled slightly at her excitement “We’re not gonna stay there too long are we? You know how uncomfortable I get at parties…” you asked and she rolled her eyes.

“I know I know but, trust me, this party is different. You’re gonna love it.” She told you, before giving instructions to the taxi driver.

“We’ll see.” You muttered to yourself, looking out the window.

The trip to the party was mostly consisted with your friend telling you how excited she was and how much fun you two would have, every 5 minutes. When you got to the party, you didn’t even have time to think about whom the host was, considering your friend only took 2 seconds to pull you out of the taxi. The party was being held at someone’s house, and what a house that was! It was probably 7 times bigger than your whole apartment, excluding the massive garden and swimming pool.

You turn to your friend “You haven’t told me yet, who’s hosting this party?” you asked.

She and shrugged “I don’t know, a friend of mine was invited and managed to get us a way in as well.”

You chuckled and raised an eyebrow “Alright. You didn’t tell me you had famous friends.”

She raised her chin and grinned “Oh honey, secret is the soul of business. Now c’mon.” she pulled you towards the entrance and you simply shook your head, laughing slightly at her comment.

When you walked in, it was like you stopped breathing and you couldn’t move, feeling so many eyes on you and your friend. Shyness and awkwardness were not your friends when it came to attending parties or just simply being sociable.

“Are you sure this was a good idea?” you whispered to your friend, making her glare at you.

“Don’t give me that crap, we just got here and it looks fucking amazing!” she said, looking around. You had to agree, the party was looking incredible, but the crowd made you uncomfortable “I have to go find my friend and tell him we’re here. Be right back. Go mingle or something!” she told you, before disappearing in the middle of the crowd.

“Oh great…” you muttered, trying to push through the crowded room to get to the bar.

The bar was almost empty, thank God for that, you thought to yourself. Everyone else was either dancing or chatting away with some friends. You felt incredibly out of place; no friends, didn’t know how to socialize without scaring the person away, and you didn’t drink much either.

“Oh what the hell…” you muttered to yourself, before turning to the bartender and ordered a drink.

When you looked to your side, you noticed someone a couple of feet from you, leaning on the bar counter as well, staring you up and down. At first you couldn’t quite recognize him but then he spoke again to the bartender and the lights on the room changed a bit; Dylan? you thought. Dylan O’Brien? What the hell is he doing here? You asked yourself.

You looked away but you could still feel him staring at you which made you feel unbelievably nervous; your heart started racing and you could swear you could feel your cheeks getting redder and redder by the second and having had a crush on the boy for years, didn’t help you calming down.

The bartender gave you your drink and you smiled kindly, thanking him.

“(Y/N=!” you hear someone screaming your name and you look behind you to see your friend walking towards you with someone else following her. “What are you doing here alone? I thought I told you to go mingle.” She said, before grabbing your drink and drinking it in one go. “That was bloody awful.”

You chuckled “You did tell me to go mingle but you know how bad I am at it, so I prefer to stay here by myself. For now.” You said, the last part just so she wouldn’t get annoyed with you. “Well it wasn’t for you now was it?” you ask her, after she drank your drink, but she simply rolls her eyes in response. “Sorry, I’m (Y/N).” You introduced yourself.

“Right, (Y/N) this is Matthew, Matthew this is (Y/N). She’s my best friend and she’s a sweetheart! Doesn’t she look beautiful tonight?” your friend asked Matthew.

“Stunning, you look stunning, darling. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” He told you and kissed the back of your hand.

You blushed slightly and glared at your friend “Oh relax honey, Matthew’s gay, you don’t need to be shy around him.” Your friend told you and you felt yourself relaxing.

Matthew chuckled “Adorable” he said, referring to you, and you smiled shyly. ”We gotta go now. Don’t worry, (Y/N), I’ll take good care of her.” Matthew told you.

“Please do. She has my number on her phone, call me if you need me, okay?”you asked him and he nodded before leaving with your friend. You both waved goodbye and you turned back around, focusing on the now empty glass.

“You do look stunning, you know.” You hear a familiar voice and look next you, seeing Dylan walking towards you.

“Oh” you swallowed, trying to calm down “T-Thank you, you don’t look so bad yourself.” You say, trying to sound as confident as possible.

He shook his head lightly, chuckling “I’m Dylan” he took out his hand.

You shook his hand and smiled “I’m (Y/N). And yeah, I know who you are.” You told him.

He raised an eyebrow “Oh you do?”

“Yeah” you nodded “Big fan of Teen Wolf right here.” You said pointing at yourself “But don’t worry, I won’t cause a scene or fangirl. You’re safe.” You winked.

He laughed slightly “Right. Well thank you for…watching Teen Wolf?” he half asked and frowned, unsure if he should’ve said what he did, and laughed at his awkwardness.

You laughed with him “You’re very welcome.”

He stared at you for a few seconds, making you feel shyer than before, before taking a sip of his drink. “You want another drink? I saw your friend drinking yours, I can ask th-“ he said but you cut him off before he could finish.

“No no, I’m fine. I don’t drink much anyways. Actually I don’t go to parties much either. But anyways, thank you.” You smiled sweetly and he nodded, smiling back.

“If you don’t go to parties much what are you doing here?” he asked.

“I could ask you the same thing, I didn’t take you for the partying type.” You answered, smirking.

He chuckled “You’re right, I’m not. I guess I just needed to take my mind off some things.”

“And how’s that working out for you?” you asked, slightly concerned.

He looked you up and down and licked his lips “Much better since you arrived.”

You could feel your cheeks burning from his comment and your mind going blank, you simply stared at him in awe. But when you noticed the smirk on his face, you came to your senses “Right.” you looked down and smiled shyly “Well I’m here because my friend insisted for me to come, saying and I quote “I went to the end of the world and back to get us a way in and, not to mention the party’s going to be filled with celebrities.”, so I couldn’t possibly say no. Mostly because I have a hard time denying my friends’ requests.” You told him.

He smiled and nodded “I get it. You have that…look.” He said.

You frowned at his comment “What look?”

“The innocent look. You’re too innocent to be here, you look like you don’t belong, which is a very good thing in my opinion.” He told you.

“Well we shouldn’t judge a book by its cover now should we?” you asked him, smirking.

He chuckled and shook his head “No, we shouldn’t.”

You were about to saying something else, when you felt someone pushing you and looked around to see a crowd of people walking towards the bar. “Well it looks like they got tired of mingling, like my friend says.” You say, getting up, feeling Dylan’s eyes on your body as you did so.

He straighten himself up “Look, do you-“ he didn’t finish his sentence because someone pushed you, causing you to bump against him. You were now inches away from each other; his arm around your waist, keeping you in place, your hands gripping his shirt, your lips so close that you could feel his shaky breath on yours. You took a glance at his lips, which made you, absentmindedly, licking yours, before looking into his eyes. You noticed him following your every move with his eyes, focusing a bit too longer on your lips before looking back into your eyes. “Do you wanna get out of here?” he whispered and you nodded. He then finished his drink, never taking his eyes off yours, and grabbed your hand, leading you away from the bar, through the crowded room and to the front door.

“Where are we going?” you asked, while he lead you to the parking lot where, you assumed, was his car.

“To my place, if that’s okay.” He said and suddenly stopped and looked back at you “Is that okay?”

You nodded “Yeah yeah, it’s okay.” You answered and he nodded, biting his lower lip and smirking.

So how about a part 2? Yes? No? Let me know pleaaaase :)

Today, I fucked up... by bringing Chinese takeout to my mom’s friend’s party

My mom and her close friend often hosts these little social gatherings where everyone who’s invited brings a dish for lunch. (kind of like a potluck). My mom could not attend but my sister and I went anyway. Since I was too lazy to cook, I brought some chinese take out. So we get to the party and the ladies are talking in the kitchen. Someone was asking the lady who was hosting the party about a meal she cooked, and she commented on how she had learned to cook chinese food from a friend of hers. So I come in and I say, “Oh you cooked chinese, well I brought some chinese takeout.” Turns out she brought some takeout too. I put down the box of takeout in the kitchen right next to this plate of food and realize that they are both the exact same dish. This lady got exposed for passing off takeout as her own cooking in front of all her guests. I don’t think she will be inviting us back.
