Please, an Adlock prompt where Mycroft finds out about the not-so-dead Mrs Adler, and tells mummy that her younger saved a crimminal. Then she asks Sherlock who is his girlfriend.
Family meetings were rigorously horrendous occasions under normal circumstances. However, when Sherlock walked into his brother’s inner city office and was greeted with the sight of his parents drinking tea with the Woman, he knew this family meeting would be particularly abhorrent.
It took every ounce of his will power not to shout, though he knew it wasn’t rage that was making his heart slam against his ribs as his eyes eventually met hers across the room. Sherlock was watching as she pulled the tea cup away from her red lips, when his view of her was blocked by Mycroft,
“You’ve got some explaining to do, brother dear” Sherlock fought the urge to slap the smirk off his brother’s face as Mycroft indicated the empty seat at the tea table next to the Woman, opposite his stunned parents. Sherlock took it, amazed that his heart managed to beat faster at being this close in proximity to her after three years without so much as a text between them. Maybe it was this that made him address her first, the tension in the room was a palpable pulse,
“Death treating you well, I see, Miss Adler” his eyes lingered on her lips as they curled into a smile.
