Anonymous said: Hi! Can I request a josh dun x reader where they’re at the Grammys and Josh goes with her and he is very happy to show her girlfriend to the world? Please 😁
Staring at yourself in the mirror, you examined your dress, your makeup, your hair, everything about you. You had to look perfect. There would be millions of people watching you, eyes fixed on you, giving you the title of the girlfriend belonging to the one and only Joshua William Dun of Twenty One Pilots. And completely honest, you were not ready at all. Josh was handsome and hot and talented and famous and you were, well, you. Your smile faded away as you looked at yourself in the mirror, trying to take a deep breath and search for that lost self-confidence, closing your eyes and beginning to tell yourself you looked just fine when you felt two arms wrap around you, pressing a soft kiss to the back of your neck before resting on your shoulder and whispering in your ear. “You look absolutely gorgeous, y/n,” Josh murmured quietly before placing a quick kiss on your cheek. “Damn I don’t think I’m going to let you leave the house looking like that.”
“Whatever,” you giggled, turning around and looking up at him, both of you sharing a rather passionate kiss. When you pulled away, you stared into your eyes. “Really? I look okay?”
“Okay?” he raised his eyebrows. “You look absolutely stunning.”
“You sure?” you insisted.
“I swear,” he chuckled. “Gosh, I have to give it to Jenna, you do look really amazing in yellow.” It had been Tyler’s idea for the two of you to wear bright yellow dresses to match Josh’s new hair. While you seemed a little skeptical at first, Jenna insisted, saying it complimented your eyes, and even dragged you out to a shop for the day to go searching for the perfect one for you.
“The dress looks like Belle’s from Beauty and the Beast,” you nodded, twirling around in it once, the fabric flowing around your legs and Josh’s smile grew even wider.
“Exactly,” he grinned. “You’re a princess.”
“More like the beast,” you teased.
“Oh shut up,” he rolled his eyes, pulling you into a huge hug. “I’m not lying when I say you look like the hottest thing I’ve ever seen in my life.”
“You’re too kind,” you smirked. “Now come on. Let’s hurry over there and kick butt! I bet you’re going to win more than one!”
“We’re lucky if we win one,” he laughed. “But I agree, we should head over.”
When you were both driving to the venue, you could feel something was off. Josh kept biting his lower lip, knuckles turning white because he was clenching the steering wheel too hard, or constantly darting his eyes around nervously. “You okay, babe?” you raised an eyebrow, placing a hand on his shoulder.
“Huh?” he whipped his head around to look at you when he reached a stop light. “I’m okay.”
“You look nervous as hell,” you softened your eyes.
“I am,” he admitted. “I’m scared to death.”
“Don’t worry,” you soothed. “You look amazing, your music sounds amazing, and you guys are amazing. I know you’ll win.”
“Yeah, but everyone will be staring at me,” he mumbled. “A million eyes all watching me if I go up on that stage. Even if I don’t. I have this bright yellow hair and these gages and-”
“And they’re all tiny reasons that add up to why I love you,” you reminded.
“I feel like I’m going to look like a fool,” Josh whispered. “I mean, I already do in this tuxedo and bowtie.”
“Don’t say that,” you argued. “You look like Prince Charming. Perfect for a princess like me, right?”
“Right,” he smiled. “I just don’t want to mess up.”
“Sometimes I wish I could just punch your anxiety in the face,” you frowned.
“Yeah,” he sighed. “Me too.”
“Look sweetie, you’re going to do absolutely amazing,” you reassured. “And besides, I’ll be right there beside you. Got it?”
“Definitely,” he nodded, turning into a parking spot. “I don’t know what I’d do without you. Gosh, I can’t even believe we got this far.”
“I’m so proud of you guys,” you beamed.
“We’re just two guys from Columbus, Ohio. We were literally just playing in front of handfuls of people in a basement and now we’re selling out Madison Square Garden, being televised nationally, and now we have a chance at winning a Grammy. That’s absolutely insane,” he sighed, parking the car and staring at you. “I don’t even know how it happened.”
“I’m so happy for you,” you kissed him on the lips. “Ready to add another accomplishment to that long list?”
“You bet,” he agreed.
When you arrived, there was already plenty of people there. Luckily, you hadn’t spotted anyone else wearing such a bold shade of yellow, and it made you excited and happy. It wasn’t long before a teenage boy was running up to Josh, huge smile plastered on his face. “Hey, uh, I was wondering if maybe I could get an autograph, please?” he wondered, grinning up at Josh. “I’ve been listening to your music for years. I’m a huge fan.”
“Absolutely,” Josh nodded, receiving the marker and piece of paper he handed him.
“So who’s this lucky lady?” the boy asked.
“Oh, y/n?” Josh laughed, tugging you right at his side and wrapping an arm around your waist. “This is my lovely girlfriend.”
“Sweet,” the boy grinned. “She’s very pretty.”
“Isn’t she?” Josh beamed. “You know, before we came here she was being all flustered acting like she didn’t look good in this dress. Can you believe that?”
“Josh,” you turned red, stifling a chuckle.
“You guys are the perfect couple,” the boy laughed. “Thanks so much for the autograph, Josh.”
“No problem,” he reassured. He ran away happily and you slapped Josh on the arm.
“Why’d you say that?” you joked.
“What? Say that you’re beautiful?” he raised an eyebrow. “Because you are.”
“Flirt,” you smirked. “Come on, let’s go look for Jenna and Tyler.”
“Wait! Joshua Dun!” an interviewer raced up to the two of you, microphone in hand, a camera crew following close behind. “My name is Stacey. I’m a reporter here tonight, I was wondering if you would be open to sharing about the lovely lady you brought with you tonight possibly? She isn’t a familiar face, but she definitely will be remembered after tonight. That’s a lovely dress dear.”
“Thanks,” you blushed.
“This is y/n, she’s my girlfriend,” Josh presented you and thrust out his hands, waving them up and down as if he was selling a product or showing a prize on a gameshow. “She’s the only award I need tonight.”
“How sweet,” Stacey gushed. She shook Josh and your hand and then grinned back at the camera. “Look at these two love birds.”
“Love birds indeed,” he chuckled, giving you a kiss on the cheek. “But I think it’s time for us to fly away now.”
“Oh yes, you two run along. I think Tyler and Jenna are over by the red carpet,” she informed. “Good luck tonight!”
“Thanks so much,” Josh responded, linking his arm with yours and plastering on a smile. “Come on my little chickadee, we’ve got a lot more stuff to do before we win that Grammy.”
“Chickadee?” you giggled. “You’re awfully cheerful now.”
“I’ve got good vibes,” he shrugged. “Oh look! There’s Tyler and Jenna!”
“Where?” your eyes instantly darted around in search of the matching bright yellow, and when you saw her, your face lit up. “Goddammit she looks like a Queen.”
“You look better,” he whispered in your ear with a sly smile as you approached them both. You were about to protest but Josh was already unlinking his arm from yours, engulfing Tyler in a huge hug, and Jenna approached you with a huge grin.
“Oh my goodness gracious, y/n!” Jenna exclaimed. “You look like you just stepped out of a fairy tale, sweetheart.”
“Me?” you laughed. “Look at you!”
“She looks smoking,” you could hear Tyler whisper to Josh. “I could barely breathe when she walked out of the bedroom.”
“I know, same here,” Josh agreed in a low murmur. “She didn’t even notice me staring at her from the doorway. Dude, I was floored.”
“I don’t know but I think we should start doing more of these Grammy things if they’re going to look as hot as this,” Tyler teased.
“Hey!” Jenna snapped, giving him a playful tug on the ear. “You boys should work on your whispering skills. We can hear everything.”
“Then that just means you’ll know how much we think you look so freaking sexy tonight,” Tyler smirked, grabbing her by the hips and pulling her closer. “Right, babe?”
“Sure,” she rolled her eyes, planting her lips on his for a kiss. A couple flashes went off and Josh chuckled.
“Come on guys,” he laughed. “Let’s keep the PDA to a minimum.”
“Shut up,” Tyler narrowed his eyes when he pulled away from the kiss, squeezing Jenna’s hand before letting go. “I bet you guys are going to be all over each other by the time we sit down.”
“It’s the Grammys,” Josh argued. “We have to be well behaved.”
“Well behaved,” Tyler scoffed. “Like that’s something we know how to do.”
“You’re being so silly,” Jenna sighed.
“Just wait until we take our pants off,” Tyler winked. “Then it will get real.”
“What?” you and Jenna both exclaimed at the same time.
“Nothing,” Tyler reassured. “Just a joke.”
“It better be,” Jenna warned.
“Sure…” Josh smirked, leaving both of you curious of what the hell that meant.
The pub is raucous tonight. It seems like everyone and their mum decided to hit up the Three Broomsticks, and Rosmerta only had time to sling their drinks across the counter before hustling off to deal with another round of patrons. It just errs on the side of uncomfortable; the close packed bodies, the almost deafening levels of chatter, the slowly building humidity that leaves his skin damp, even after he rolled up the sleeves of his flannel in an attempt to cool down.
It’s a bit chaotic, but then again, he thrives off of chaos. At least, that’s what he says after watching some bloke spill his drink on a girl in an attempt to feel her up, only to receive a punch to the jaw. It results in a minor scuffle and he just sits off to the side observing it. It reminds him of an Andy Warhol painting for some reason; just a blur of colour and movement.
James Potter is not good at flip cup.
Or, more accurately, he’s not good at this blaspheme of flip cup that Sirius came up with. He’s making them chug a bitter stout instead of beer, and James grimaces the whole way through, costing him and Remus significant time.
He gives up after the third round of losing- he doesn’t hate himself that much, plus he’s sure that if he doesn’t wash down the taste with something else, his tastebuds would never forgive him- and Sirius pats him on the back.
“Oh don’t be sad, Prongs,” he says, pinching his cheeks.
James bats his hands away. “You’re a sadistic bastard.”
“Funny, that’s what my mum used to call me growing up.”

The second she woke, before she even saw the daylight, there was a feeling, just a passing, silly thought that she knew would be true the moment she opened her eyes. And so she didn’t.
For the first few minutes of the morning, she simply listened to the rumble of the water, to the familiar harmony of ropes hitting poles, to the gentle yawnings and stirrings of the boat next door, and she ran her hand along the empty spot in the bed, curling into herself, willing it to be untrue, despite knowing full well exactly what to expect.
Please please please pleaseeeeee IPDATE the Yule ball disaster imagine it’s sooooo good. You’re such a good writer -Anonymous
Please Update Yule Ball Disaster! Could you also put in the dress? -Anonymous
Okay, maybe this plan wasn’t such a good idea. Wait….No. This is a good plan. It is a great plan. You assured yourself everything is going to turn out well. Shame it wasn’t working. All these thoughts filled your head as you stood staring at your reflection in the mirror. Your dress was from your mother’s dress shop. She had given a black dress that flowed to your legs. The bottom part would glisten in gold when you moved. A personal touch enchanted by your mother. Your hair was curled to perfection, bits of gold glitter scattered around like a crown.
You took a deep breath before meeting up with Hermione. You had become close acquaintances for the past few hours. She was quite reluctant to trust you; given your relations with Draco, but Harry took care of that (He also may have taken care of your usual attitude towards mudbloods Muggle-borns)
“You look beautiful, (Y/N)” She beamed at you as you strolled in through the hall. You gave her a small smile as you scanned her periwinkle dress. She was beautiful. You’ve never imagined seeing her like this. With Draco being your friend, she had always looked like dirt to you until now.
“Your the one to talk” Your eyebrows rose amused “You look smoking” She blushed in appreciation before hooking arms with you. By now she had trusted you more to actually touch you.
“Ready?” The browned haired girl whispered shakily. You understood why she was acting so afraid. Not everyone looked at her as a beautiful girl. Well not anymore.
“Let’s do it” You nodded, sending a quick glance to her.
There was no turning back now.
Both of you let out a shaky breath, taking small steps towards the stairs. Everyone’s attention turned to both of you as you walked down carefully in your heels. Anxiety started to kick as you notice the eyes of so many students watching your every step. Who knew Hermione could catch the eye of so many people?
“They’re all looking at you” You said, looking at all of them.
“Believe me” She breathed “They’re all looking at you.”
You didn’t push the conversation further once your eyes had landed on a specific pair of eyes. The eyes of a certain blue eyed Malfoy.
So far, so good.
You noticed his mouth was slightly opened as he gaped at you in awe. He was looking very handsome in his suit. Seeing him filled your stomach with butterflies as you finally reached the last step. Immediately, Harry had sauntered over to you once you and Hermione separated. Viktor Krum took Mione’s hand as you gave her a smile before turning to Harry. He was looking good as well.
“You look fantastic” He commented. You returned the compliment now linking your hand on his outstretched arm. It was a surprise to you when Harry accepted your proposal to be his date. He was kind, but no one could be that kind. Even when you acted like a total bitch to him through the years, he still treated you with kindness. Something wasn’t right.
Harry told you that the champions were going to be the first to dance as he led you to the Great Hall that now looked like a beautiful winter wonderland. You weren’t really fazed by it, considering the painful years of dance lessons your mother made you take to show off to the other families. But in Harry’s case…..it won’t end well.
The dancing wasn’t that bad. Harry was a little bit off his feet, but your plan succeeded….sort of. In the corner of your eye you noticed Draco’s glare burning the back of your head. You knew it was for Harry. Soon everyone started to dance as well, excluding Draco and his date, Pansy— who was annoyed, trying to get his attention away from you and Harry.
“Thank you, Harry.” You whispered. Harry grinned, pulling you closer to his body. You were unaware of Harry’s little crush on you. He liked you since the first year when he saw you beside Draco when he approached him. When you asked him to be your date, it filled him with joy. Like everyone else, he thought you were with Malfoy, but now he thought he might have a chance with you.
“I love you” He whispered back, staring into your (E/C) orbs.
Your eyes widen as you stared at him in disbelief. Did he just say what you think he just said? No No No this wasn’t part of the plan!
“Wait….What?” Is he mad? He doesn’t even know you. You can’t tell someone you love them when you know nothing about them. Then he did the unexpected, he started to lean in. By now, you were trying your best to get away from him but his grip was too tight “Harry..Stop…”
“Why, don’t you like me back?” You shook your head, but he wasn’t backing down. You thought he liked Cho.
Just then you felt someone slide in next to you.
“Get your hands off her, Potter!” Draco snarled pushing Harry away from you. You sighed in relief once you felt his arms release your body. Everyone in the Great Hall had stopped to look at the commotion going on, even Pansy had walked over closer to see better.
They both pulled out their wands at the exact same time and pointed them at each other. You didn’t know what to do. You were loss for words as they death glared towards the other. People were whispering amongst themselves, all mixed in worry or excitement. You had a hunch that they were placing bets by now.
“Stop acting so ridiculous” You said, stepping in between them “Both of you”
They stood in place not daring to move. They’re eyes were still locked together as if they were dueling mentally.
“I suggest you move out of the way, (Y/N)” Harry said through gritted teeth.
“He’s right, love. I don’t want your pretty face getting hurt” Draco commented taking a quick glance at you before glaring back at the chosen one. Even in this situation Draco could make your heart beat a hundred miles per minute. You scolded your body for acting like this.
“She’s mine” Harry spoke, venomously. You rolled your eyes at his choice of words. Well now you could scratch ‘nice’ of the list.
“She’s not an object” Draco spat “She’s my girlfriend!” Gasps were erupted from everyone as they looked between you and the blonde. This was going to be the top gossip in Hogwarts by tomorrow. “(Y/N) Howell and Draco Malfoy dating but had different dates at the Yule Ball” Lovely.
Draco looked alarmed once he realized his outburst. So he did have feeling for you…. You couldn’t help but smile at the thought. He looked at you, warily before he beamed once he saw you smiling at him. A sign of assurance that you indeed feel the same.
Harry broke your little moment by flaring a streak of white light between you, hitting one of the chandelier shards. He tried again, this time in Draco’s direction. A stinging jinx. Draco dodged it in time before flinging a spell at him. More spells were flung back and forth as they continued to duel.
The girls were screaming in fear despite the fact that the Durmstrang boys had smartly created a protective barrier. You noticed flames come out of Harry’s wand, seeing as he cornered Draco. Just in time, Draco threw himself down to the floor. The spell had left an expression indent on the wall causing a few people to snicker. They instantly stopped once Draco glared at them.
Where are the teachers?!?
You felt stupid just standing there on the side. You finally came up to your senses when Draco was almost injured by the arm. You gasped, pulling out your wand and made a barrier between the two boys. Both of them had destroyed each other’s tuxes. Their shirts were burnt and ripped to ruins.
“STOP IT!” a voice shrieked “STOP IT THIS INSTANT!” Professor McGonagall had finally appeared from the crowd of students. Well it was about time. Draco and Harry looked at each other angrily before huffing. The professor roughly grabbed the two boys’ arms before telling the others to go back to enjoying the ball.
“Ms.Howell I suggest you enjoy the remaining hours of the ball as well while I speak to Mr. Malfoy and Mr. Potter.” She advised before pulling them outside.
This Yule Ball was a disaster.
The Great Hall had turned back to the perfect ball room. One of the reasons why you loved magic. You let out a breath that you held for so long. This was way different from what you had planned. Well the good part is that you finally got together with the boy you love….the bad part is that he may get expelled from the only place you actually get to see him everyday. Everyone else had went back to whatever they were doing before. Couples had started dancing again whilst the others talked about the fight. You shook your head disapprovingly, walking out of the the hall to wait for Draco.
After half an hour or so, you saw Harry leave McGonagall’s office. He was looking rather red and tired. Must be from the duel he started. You wondered what his punishment was. It was a bit unfair when the subject was about Harry and punishments. He probably must have just gotten detention. You were only worried for Draco at the moment.
Once you saw the familiar blonde hair you were looking for, you quickly made your way towards him. He looked at you with a smile before he started to apologize (Which was a surprise to you as well…why would he apologize?).
“Hey (Y/N)! I’m really so-” You cut him off by putting your hands on his face, pulling him onto your lips. His lips warm and soft on yours made you feel like you were in a dream. As cliche as it sounds, your lips were fitted perfectly with each other. His hands had circled around your waist and slowly pulled you two together. Your lips moving with his was the only sound you could hear through the empty hall. The smell of Draco’s cologne would have rubbed on you by the close contact of your bodies. You continued to kiss. Yours were soft and gentle while his were a bit rough but in all fairness; You were great kissers.
“I love you” You said, breathlessly as you pulled away. Your hands locked themselves behind his neck, making Draco feel more comfortable. He had pressed his forehead against yours, staring at you for a bit.
“I love you” He whispered, kissing your nose “More than anything”
“Thanks for saving me” You brightly smiled “You didn’t really need to. I didn’t want you to get in trouble” No matter what anyone said about him being a total bastard, you would always think about the sweet Draco only you had permission to see.
“For you, I would go to Azkaban just to see you happy” He said, making your stomach tingle again “Besides, I won’t get punishment when my father hears about this.” You giggled, giving him a short but passionate kiss.
He had properly asked you to be his girlfriend and of course you agreed. The ball was over at this time so you both decided to stay a while in the empty hall. Swaying to the silent melodies you two were humming.
Everyone she looked up to smoked cigarettes. Her parents and grandparents, aunts and uncles. It was the very cool and grown up thing to do. At eleven years old, she didn’t have any thoughts about addiction or cancer, only curiosity. She took a few cigarettes from her mothers pack and snuck to the side of the house to give it a try. She loved it from the first moment, she did not have to acquire the taste. She learned to save her lunch money to be able to buy them. She also couldn’t go without, she would get so angry without them. Smoking became part of her, another personality trait. She became friends with other smokers, only smokers. She hung out where people smoked. She had a specific brand and most of her friends had that same brand. This definition followed her for almost thirty years. She was a smoker.
So I got the OK from @noodlenumber and now This version of Underfell Muffet is the one that’s going to be in my Underfell Comic! I did A little piece of her, just to get into the swing of things. Her design is really cool, and I suggest you check out noodlenumber’s blog! They’re a really good artist!
