she is pacing

anonymous asked:

Hi Cap, what do you think about writing something where Lena's hurt but Kara can't get to her or can't help and has conflict about that? Please?

She nearly paces a whole into her apartment floor with worry, and when the pacing isn’t enough, she takes off into the night sky.

Because what if she hadn’t been on the phone with Lena, the night she plummeted off of her balcony?

She shudders with her what ifs, and they keep her up at night.

But when the Daxamites take Lena captive – when she’s held against her will and she’s going to be forced to marry… no. No, Kara won’t think about that – she nearly loses it all.

Because she couldn’t help, and she couldn’t stop it.

She swears to herself that it won’t happen again. That she won’t let it happen again.

But Alex keeps trying to remind her that she’s only one person, that – fast as she is – she can’t be everywhere at once.

And of course – though she is loathe to admit it – Alex is right.

So of course, it happens again.

It happens again when she’s out dealing with Cadmus, with Jeremiah, and, quite frankly, with her sister.

Because Cadmus knows that there are four ways to get to her: target innocent people; target her sister; target her friends, her chosen family; target Lena Luthor.

And that day, Cadmus does all four.

She takes a bullet for James and thanks Rao that Maggie takes such good care of Alex in the field. She and J’onn make a spectacular team, and it turns out that he can hold the weight of crumbling buildings just as effectively as her cousin can.

It’s Lena that she didn’t expect them to attack.

Because Lilian is awful, and Lilian is complicated.

But Lena comes away with a punctured lung and a broken femur, and Lena won’t scream in pain, but Kara hears enough screams in her head to more than make up for it.

It’s not her that gets Lena safely to the DEO. It’s Winn and it’s Alex and it’s James, and while she will never stop thanking them, she will never forgive herself.

Because she didn’t prevent this. She didn’t save her.

Well, technically, she didn’t have to – because DEO medics and surgeons did a spectacular job.

But she refuses treatment while pacing outside of the med bay, regardless.

Refuses treatment, that is, until Maggie – a deep gash on her own forehead – refuses treatment until Kara herself rests.

Alex looks like she’s never been more in love, and J’onn looks like he’s never been prouder of her newest daughter.

Kara relents.

Maggie gets stitched up.

Kara helps Alex eat.

Alex helps Kara eat.

James and Winn keep her updated on every single thing happening in the med bay.

J’onn keeps watch over them all, and Alex – without letting him know it – keeps watch over him.

And Kara?

Kara waits in Alex’s arms, grateful for the Kryptonian anti-anxiety pills Alex came up with when she first started at the DEO.

Kara waits, trying desperately not to panic, not to lash out, not to burn her powers out just releasing all her fury.

At Cadmus, at her parents, at Jeremiah, at herself.

At herself, because Lena was hurt, and she wasn’t there.

Lena went into emergency surgery, and she wasn’t there.

“You’re here now,” Winn reminds her softly, and his words help a little, but the box full of energy bars he brings her helps even more.

“She’s gonna be just fine,” James reminds her gently, and his words help a little, but the weight of his calloused, soft hand on her thigh helps even more.

“She’s out of surgery,” Vasquez pokes her head in to announce, and Barry Allen himself couldn’t get there as fast as she does.

She cries when she sees her – so many tubes – but silently, silently, because she’s not quite awake yet, not quite aware yet.

Kara doesn’t notice when Lena wakes up; doesn’t see because her head is bowed on the bed next to the limp, IV-ed hand she’s holding.

“My hero.”

Lena’s voice – low and scratchy and broken from the surgery, from the injury, from a lack of water in the throat – makes Kara jump and dry her eyes and concentrate very hard on not breaking down again.

“Your… I didn’t save you, Lena, I didn’t even fly you back here, that was Alex and James and – “

“Kara,” Lena interrupts weakly, wincing slightly when she tries to sit up, squeezing Kara’s hand in both pain and a need for closeness.

“Kara,” she starts again, “you’re not my hero because you save my life. It’s not your job to do that. Supergirl’s, okay. But Supergirl was saving an entire building. And that’s why you work with a team. A wonderful team. It’s not all on you, Kara Danvers. You’re not my hero because you’re bulletproof.”

She stops and flinches and starts reaching for water. Kara practically trips over herself to bring it to Lena’s lips, which curl up into a slow smile.

“Thank you. Do you want to know why you’re my hero, Kara Danvers?”

Kara nods, throat too tight, too on fire, to speak.

“Because you’re here. You’re here for me, and I knew you would be. You always are.”

Kara nods through tears and swallows several times before she can speak.

“And I’m always gonna be, Lena. Always.”

The Janitor and the Music Teacher: Chapter 3

Beca took a deep breath, trying to slow her heart rate down. She had been pacing nervously around the corner from Chloe’s room for three minutes now. She wasn’t sure how this was going to go, now that Chloe knew about her “difficulties”. How was Chloe planning to teach her? She seemed enthusiastic to, but would she be able to? Nobody had ever been able to teach her before, so what made Chloe different? To be perfectly honest, Beca was only making herself more anxious than she needed to be.

She took another deep breath.

Damnit, Mitchell, you can’t back out now.

Again.

Right. She needed to get a grip. Because she was now at least a minute late. Probably.

Beca wasn’t too sure.

She took another deep breath.

It was time, whether she liked it or not.

With a set face, Beca practically marched towards the classroom and knocked three times. Chloe looked up from where she was sitting patiently at her piano with a large, toothy grin settling on her face. She squeaked in excitement and leapt up to open the door.

“You came!” Chloe said happily, wrapping her arms around Beca in a hug without much thought to how Beca usually reacted when she touched her.

Beca stiffened in her arms. She wasn’t used to hugs, it wasn’t often that she was given a hug, and it was even less often that she gave any. But, somehow, this felt right to her. So, she slowly wrapped her own arms around Chloe’s midsection and held on lightly.

“I told you I would.” Beca replied quietly, subtly trying to squirm out of Chloe’s arms – the hug had gotten too much after only two seconds.

Chloe let go of her and sent her a beaming smile, taking her sleeve and pulling her towards the piano. They sat down together on the stool just like they had the week beforehand.

Chloe cleared her throat slightly. “So, I thought instead of trying to learn the notes by what they look like on paper, we can learn it by what they sound like. We’re basically just going to go up and down the keys, and say or sing the notes as we go. I’ve also put the colours of the rainbow in correspondence to the notes, so red equals A, orange is B, yellow is C, green is D, blue is E, indigo is F and violet is G.” Chlo explained happily, eagerly pointing to the different coloured stickers on the white keys.

Beca smiled unsurely, but she was happy that Chloe made the effort to do something different for her to understand. “Thank you.”

“Sure! So, let’s just go up the scale to get you used to what each sound like, and eventually you’ll be able to recognise the note by its sound as well as by its colour,”

Chloe couldn’t help but smile, bright-eyed, as she watched Beca get reacquainted it the piano. It was so…precious. So pure. Like watching a toddler slowly learn something new, and then once they know it, try their best to show it off with pride. Or like watching a puppy learn to run. Beca had – for once – let down her defences, and was slowly and surely moving from unsteady shyness to scintillating excitement. She was pressing the keys more frequently, mouthing or whispering the notes for most of them, her brows very slightly furrowed as she did her best to remember them as she went along, and the growing smile on her face said it all. Chloe was so, so happy that she’d given Beca the chance to finally be able to do what she wanted and obviously loved to do. And as much as she wanted to outright ask her why it was Beca hadn’t ever been given this chance before, she knew that Beca wasn’t the type of person to share anything. She knew she had to at least build a stronger wall of trust and friendship before opening that window to the janitor’s past.

Hang on. Stronger?

Did Beca trust her already? Were they friends? Acquaintances? Or just simply co-workers helping each other out?

Did Chloe think of Beca as a friend?

Well, she wanted to.

But she barely knew anything about the girl as it was, apart from the fact that she was unusually timid and shy, and couldn’t read or write. So, she couldn’t really call Beca a friend, could she? Especially if the feeling wasn’t mutual.

“A,” Chloe said, watching as Beca started, before quickly pressing down on the right key.

“F,”

“D,”

“B,”

“G,”

“C,”

“E,”

The redhead said the keys in a random order, and Beca pressed on each key correctly.

Chloe gasped and applauded proudly. “Great, Beca, you’re remembering them,”

“The colours do help.” Beca admitted, not taking her hands off the piano.

“Okay. How about we play something?”

Beca’s eyes grew, but for once, it wasn’t out of anxiety or fear. “Really?

“Yep! Okay, so instead of making you memorise the first song you ever play, I’ve set up sheet music, but instead of the notes there’re the colours of the notes where they would be on the stave. Do you understand?”

Beca smiled. She really couldn’t believe how much trouble Chloe had gone to. She didn’t have to do any of this.

“Yes.”

“Okay! So, try and play it, and we’ll see if you can work out which song it is, too.” Chloe nudged her softly with a happy grin, placing the sheet music on the stand.

Beca’s eyebrows furrowed as she did her best to focus on the colours against the lines. But the lines were overlapping and almost jumping off the page at her. She squeezed her eyes shut for a second, but then the lines were even more all over the place. Beca flushed a light pink and bit her lip, fiddling with her fingers.

“I…” she started, looking at the paper harder. It started to make her feel dizzy, so she looked away and blinked. “I’m sorry.”

“Don’t be sorry, what’s up?” Chloe asked her kindly, but with slight concern, having just watched Beca’s struggle play out.

“N-Nothing,” Beca said hesitantly, and Chloe could literally see Beca’s conscious building a brick wall between them as she shrunk down a little further into the stool.

“Doesn’t look like nothing. What’s up?” Chloe tried again, purposefully keeping her tone light and safe.

Beca seemed to hesitate again, wringing her hands together. “Y-you’re not gonna…tell me off…are you?”

Chloe frowned, looking seriously at the janitor. It upset her that that was the first thing that went to Beca’s mind. “Of course not!”

“It’s the…the lines.” Beca squinted.

“What about them?”

Beca shook her head slightly, suddenly becoming shy. “It’s all…together. I don’t know. I’m probably just tired. Sorry.” She looked away and her body seemed to curl up ever so slightly, more so than before.

Meeting the girl’s eyes, Chloe furrowed her eyebrows. “No, no, this is important. Like, are they all overlapping each other? Are they going fuzzy?”

“Yeah. Both.” Beca sighed.

Chloe was stuck at what to say.

“It’s okay,” she said eventually. “Loads of people get that.”

“I’m sorry.” Beca whispered, bowing her head. “Can I use the b-bathroom, please?”

“Sure, Beca,” Chloe said gently, smiling softly at her, although she was sure the brunette could see the gears turning in her head as she thought about what had just happened.

Beca got up and shuffled out with her head still bowed down low. Chloe puffed out a little sigh, and made little popping sounds as she thought of what to do next. Should she try and deal with it herself? Or try and get Beca to agree to a test? Bearing in mind she didn’t want to push the brunette out of her comfort zone. She pondered back and forth with herself for about five minutes, before she noticed Beca still wasn’t back. Hoping the brunette hadn’t ran away again, Chloe was fast to get up and go to the bathroom to see if she was alright.

Just as the music teacher was about to open the door, she heard a little thud, followed by a small sob. Chloe stopped dead in her tracks, pouting as she put her head to the door to listen.

“Why are you so stupid all the time?” she heard Beca say through another sob of frustration.

Chloe’s heart dropped. Beca wasn’t stupid, at all. The redhead could see that from the get go. She was bright. Very bright. All she needed was someone to help her switch the bulb on. To be honest with herself, Chloe doubted Beca really wanted to continue that day, so she impulsively walked into the bathroom.

“Beca?” She called.

The brunette was a fast-thinker, and she began to cough, as if she was choking, so her voice would have sounded raspy and broken. Chloe smiled softly. Yes, Beca was definitely bright.

“Y-Yeah?” she said, coughing again. “S-Sorry…I-I like, choked on not-nothing!”

Chloe made sure to play along, and giggled. “You okay?”

“Fine!” Beca said, slightly over-enthusiastically, but Chloe didn’t dwell on it.

“Sorry to have to cut it a little short, but I totally spaced! I made plans to meet with my friend tonight, and I have just about enough time to go home, change, and get to the diner we’re meeting at. But I think we really made some progress today, so it’s not like a complete flop of a lesson, right?”

“Right,” Beca said.

“So, I’ll see you tomorrow?” Chloe asked.

“Yeah, sure, tomorrow,”

“Kay, thanks for letting me off the hook! Bye, Beca, have a good night!”

“Yeah – I mean, you too,”

Chloe began to make her way out of the bathroom, but suddenly remembered something.

“Hey, wait, are you nearly done?”

“Yes…” Beca said, sounding slightly cautious as she unlocked the door and stepped out, washing her hands twice.

“Instead of having to go looking around school for each other, I was wondering if you had a phone? Then I could just text or call you and it would be so much easier.” The redhead smiled hopefully at the smaller girl, and Beca looked away for a second, before nodding.

“I have a phone,” she reached into her pocket and pulled out an iPhone 7.

“Oh wow, really?” Chloe asked before she could stop herself. “Sorry, that sounded rude. I’m not trying to be rude or anything, but how do you use it? You know, cause…”

“Speech assist. And Siri,” Beca chuckled, seemingly relaxed and even a little happy that Chloe seemed so awestruck and interested.

“How does it work?”

Beca smiled brightly, and Chloe felt giddy that she was the one who had caused it, and tapped her home button.

“Hi, Beca,” came a virtual voice.

“Oh my god! That’s so cool! So, does it do everything for you so you never have to type or read anything?” Chloe’s eyes widened and she almost squealed in excitement and surprise.

“Pretty much. I mean, I’m pretty sure I use it more for its functions as a phone than most people, but it does what I need it to.”

“Can you show me?” Chloe asked, still in amazement.

“Can you put in your number?” Beca asked her, unlocking the phone with her thumb print and handing it to Chloe.

Chloe swiped across looking for the contact app, and saw that Beca was right – she didn’t really have any other apps apart from the apps given to every phone. The redhead smiled softly as she saw that Beca’s background was a red panda in snow. She was fast to type in her number and label the contact “Chloe Beale”, before handing Beca back her phone.

Beca held down her home button before speaking clearly. “Text Chloe Beale.”

“What would you like to say?” the virtual voice asked.

“Go home before you’re late, thanks for the lesson, Beca.”

A moment later, a ding came from Chloe’s phone, and she looked at it in excitement as it lit up with a text from an unknown number. “That’s so cool!”

Beca blushed softly and shrugged – it was the first time anyone had taken such an interest in her. “I guess…”

“It is really cool, Beca.” Chloe told her, almost fiercely. “Anyways, thanks for showing me! I’ve got to run, have a good night,”

“Have fun with your friend.” Beca replied calmly.

Chloe sent her a smile, before leaving the bathroom. Beca leant back on the counter. She was calm. She was so, so calm. After having cried less than five minutes ago. She couldn’t figure out how Chloe managed to have that effect on her, how she managed to get her so calm so quickly. Furthermore, she was happy. Happy Chloe continued to take interest in her despite the many obvious mistakes she kept making, mistakes only she would be dumb enough to make. Nothing other than music had ever made her happy before.

It was definitely a change.

A good change.

Once again, I’m unsure beyond unsureness about how this chapter was. Good, bad, ugly, vague, too much? Was it a bit of a let down? I’ll totally rewrite it if it was…

Also, how would you guys feel if I added in more characters as teachers and/or friends from pitch perfect? We can totally keep it just Beca and Chloe but I feel like a tiny bit of variety in characters is needed hahaha

Anyways, I want to thank all of you who have reviewed or favourited or liked or reblogged or WHATEVER on the last chapter in the past few months, thank you for being so consistently supportive and motivating! And I’m sorry I can’t give you updates once a week. My life is getting busier and busier by the minute, but I’m trying my best to give you guys the most perfect chapters you deserve! Thank you for believing in me :) It really does make a difference when I get such amazing feedback!

Venus Signs and How They Attract People

*Note: placements are interpreted without a house influence and as if they were unaspected, other placements in a chart can affect how Venus manifests in one’s chart. Feminine pronouns are used for Venus because I view her as a feminine planet, all gender identities have a functional Venus.

Venus in Aries: By doing her own thing. Venus in Aries is notoriously hard to catch because of her tendency to incite feelings of attraction in others when she’s being completely oblivious to their existence. Often a strong presence that draws in others wherever she goes, Venus in Aries tends to make other people follow her in whatever direction she’s heading, even if she doesn’t know what direction that is herself. Because of her individuality and strong self-esteem that is rooted only in her own opinion of herself, only the most persistent, strong willed, or accommodating of suitors can catch her. She is, however, as present in a relationship as she is hard to catch since once set on a path for love, is completely on that one path.

Venus in Taurus: By being classy. Venus in Taurus often gets a reputation for being materialistic because she appreciates the things that money can buy. This, however, is also where her charming sense of style and strong personal values come from. Venus in Taurus doesn’t want to hear cheap talk or see displays of machismo, she holds out for the suitor whose actions show her love and on whom she can rely. Love is great, but Venus in Taurus tends to fall in love with security. Venus in Taurus also tends to be the most comfortable of all the Venus signs in her own body which often leads others to want to touch her because of her naturally well-built form.

Venus in Gemini: By being the whole package. Venus in Gemini, as per her reputation, can be a bit all over the place and a jack of all trades, but this gives her a wide variety of skills to utilize and topics to discuss. She tends to attract people by being inquisitive and genuinely interested in what others say. As a result, she can talk to anyone about anything, at least until they bore her. She’s never boring, but she also can get bored quite easily and only suitors that can either roll with how fast-paced she is or give her a lot of freedom can keep her around. Tending to be one of the more popular Venus signs, Venus in Gemini has no shortage of interests or people interested in talking to her.

Venus in Cancer: By caring about family values. Venus in Cancer tends to be, more so than other placements, a product of her environment. It’s not that she can’t think for herself, it’s just that she doesn’t see the point in trying to do something a new way if an old way works. Because of this, she tends to attract people with her old-fashioned charm and by genuinely caring about the well-being and emotional state of those around her. Because of her inclination towards valuing her own family, Venus in Cancer can be a bit standoffish to strangers but there’s nobody more fiercely devoted to those she cares about. Potential suitors may be scared off by the ferocity at which she defends her pack, but that won’t stop those who truly value her love.

Venus in Leo: By being fabulous. Venus in Leo can be a bit of a diva at times, but that’s just because she has a strong sense of self-worth and is very creative. This worth can sometimes dip when she receives criticism, but that only drives her to seek out only those who can truly appreciate her in her natural attractiveness. Because of her grand self-image, she’s also notably generous with what she has and despite how much of a diva she may seem really wants others to like her. However, she’s not the type to take any crap from anyone which makes her appear like quite the prize to be won. Only suitors who are willing to treat her like the royalty she knows is are worthy of being in her royal family where she can continue being her creative self.

Venus in Virgo: By always being prepared and organized. Venus in Virgo is predictably well groomed and while she typically isn’t the vain type, she takes a lot of care to take care of her body and as a result is often in glowing shape. She tends to attract people with her constant preparedness and timeliness which tells others that she values their time and effort. While this placement is notably picky, it’s a way of winnowing out suitors who won’t value how much effort she puts into everything and may take her service-oriented nature for granted.

Venus in Libra: By wanting to understand other people. Venus in Libra tends to have a very inviting appearance that corresponds to her inviting personality. It’s easy to talk to a Venus in Libra because she is very other-oriented and values what other people need, often to her own detriment. Because Venus in Libra can also be somewhat averse to heavy emotions, she often finds herself in a situation where she has to smile and listen despite how the conversation is making her uncomfortable because she cares that the other person gets heard even when they aren’t listening to her at all. As a result, Venus in Libra tends to fall for the lighthearted and fun types, those who can help her find the beauty and balance in the world and naturally give as much as they take.

Venus in Scorpio: By being mysterious. Venus in Scorpio gets a reputation for being mean, but it’s because she really values the transformation cycle. People are naturally intimidated by the depth at which she can go into the emotional realm but that slight uneasiness and curiosity is what draws them in. While she may seem unfriendly, it’s mostly because she loves very, very deeply and only wants to share that with someone who she feels deserves that amount of devotion. Incredibly loyal and the type of person who will never give up on someone, her emotional resolution will only be admitted to suitors who can handle both all of the pain and love she can bring. Most cannot handle the self-reflection they are required to do in her presence because it can be painful, but the breaking down of old systems is what allows for pure, steel-strong love to develop between her and her chosen love.

Venus in Sagittarius: By making jokes. Venus in Sagittarius is one of the liveliest Venus placements and she is able to lighten up just about any situation with her effervescent humor. She often has a passion for a world where good triumphs over evil and through her own sense of right and wrong she often galvanizes others to see the world through her worldly lens. Venus in Sagittarius has a knack for attracting people who come from cultures very different from her own and is interested in what insights other perspectives can offer her. As a result, only those who are deep enough to ponder life’s mysteries but also light-hearted enough to laugh at how small we as people are in the context of such a big world can truly win her heart. Winning, however, may not last forever since she is known for having shorter, more intensely passionate relationships in which two individuals come together and change each other’s lives forever, but don’t necessarily stay together.

Venus in Capricorn: By being a boss. Now, Venus in Capricorn doesn’t necessarily have to have already achieved her ambitions to start attracting others, it’s her natural sense of drive and desire to be on top of the world that attracts others to her. She’s not afraid to do what it takes to get her way and others are likely to either respect her for her tenacity or scoff at her because they’re unwilling to put in the same amount of effort she does. She also has a tendency of using how others respect her to her advantage which may leave more dreamy and romantic partners in a daze, but because she’ll test devotion like no other, when she’s committed you can be sure it’s one iron lock of a commitment. She values what others are willing to do for her and in turn she makes them feel valuable for what they have control over (their actions) rather than things that are out of their control (what they’re born with).

Venus in Aquarius: By being quirky. Now, Venus in Aquarius can range from being a total oddball to being incredibly popular, but both  manifestations do so by having an opinion that’s a little different from everyone else’s. It’s kind of hard not to like her because she moves to the beat of her own drum and isn’t afraid to go against the mainstream. Her unwillingness to conform, however, makes her very difficult to get close to because conventional means of approach are often ignored. She may seem a bit standoffish and is generally more interested in ideas than feelings but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t care about people. She just prefers to do so in a more broad way and leave individual emotional care to those who are more adept at it. Only suitors who are ok being close on an intellectual level can ever really be with her.

Venus in Pisces: By being sweet. Venus in Pisces can be a bit naïve, happily oblivious to “reality” and may have very transient emotions, but it’s hard for people to dislike how genuine she is. While it may seem like her constantly crying about how the sky is falling or (while also crying) talking about how beautiful life is over the top, she genuinely feels every emotion she observes. Sometimes, Venus in Pisces may even seem too delicate for this harsh earth, but she inspires others with such emotion that the feel the need to rescue her whenever she’s in trouble. She also may get a reputation for being a liar or playing with people’s emotions, but while she may change how she feels very quickly, she feels it genuinely in that moment which can confuse lovers who see her both madly in love with them and also despairing over their bad side all in a matter of hours and sometimes even minutes. Despite her volatility, moments of true love is rare, and the degree to which she can devote herself is unparalleled, for better or for worse, and suitors can’t help but try for a chance at a taste of it.

Summary: Y/N has lived next to Peter since the 3rd grade and since has fallen hard for him, but Y/N doesn’t know he’s fallen just as hard.

Word count: 2,145

Songs: Midnight City by M83, Uh huh by Julia Michaels

A/N: This is my first Imagine ever so I’m sorry for the grammar mistakes and if i messed up the point of view a little bit, I’m practicing and heres my first go at it! I hope you guys enjoy it! Also its not a concrete idea yet but i might make more parts to this

“Hey, MJ does Peter ever talk about me?” you ask staring across the lunch room at the boy you’ve had a crush on ever since you laid eyes on him in the 3rd grade. You hear Michelle sigh and close her book “Y/N just go over there and talk to him.” your eyes widen at your best friend for suggesting such a thing. “I can’t just go over there and talk to him without cause, plus..” you sigh sinking further into your seat at the lunch table “he likes Liz, remember?” Just before Michelle can get a word in about your lack of confidence towards guys, the bell rings signaling the end of lunch and beginning of the five minuet passing period to the next class.

You quickly gather your things heading out of the lunchroom and to your next class, gym.

“Hey, Y/N wait up!” you hear the familiar voice of Liz speak as everyone makes their way out of the locker rooms and into the main gym. You falter in your walk just a little hearing Liz say your name, you haven’t ever really been friends or even acquaintances with her since knowing that Peter has a crush on the girl. “Yes?” you smile as she slows her pace next to you “I’m having a party tomorrow night at my place, do you wanna come?” your mind goes blank for a minuet, Liz is asking me to her party? what? “I already asked Michelle if she could come and she said you were free so i thought i’d ask.” Liz practically read your mind, so Michelle is to blame, she’s gonna pay. “Yea, sure I’ll come, it sounds fun.” She smiles before she runs off ahead of you. “Hey Flash,” You hear her shout before she vanishes into the crowd of teenagers.

“Alright, well i think he’s a war criminal now but these are state required so lets get to work .” The gym teacher spoke after the video of Captain America ended waving his hand for everyone to get down from the bleachers and take their places on the mats.

You finally spot Michelle in the crowd of teenagers and grabbed ahold of her arm before she could lay on a mat. “Hey could we be partners?” You ask letting go of your bestie laying on the mat, “Mind if we take this mat next to you guys?” A voice that made your heartstrings tingle spoke, you quickly turn your head to see Peter laying down and getting ready to go his first sit-up. “No-not at all.” you blush and turn on your other side to come face to face with a book “Michelle” You groan louder than intended, “We’re suppose to be doing sit-ups.” You grab the book tilting it away from her face, Michelle sighs and turns on her back pushing her book up and down from her face “There happy, I’m exercising now.” She mumbled making you laugh slightly.

“Hey what about Spider-Man?” You sit up and whip your head around to the bleachers where a certain group of popular girls were sitting, “What about him Liz? You got a crush?” a friend of hers teased, “Well I mean yes he’s pretty hot but he’s also a hero you can’t leave him out.” You could see a slight pink shade her cheeks after she spoke.

“Hey, uh Peter knows Spider-Man!” Ned practically yelled from the mat next to you, what? how does Peter know Spider-Man? I mean maybe he got saved by him? But what? You were pulled from your thoughts when Peter spoke, “Well Uh  we-wel yes i do, because of the Stark internship i have but i’m not suppose to talk about it.” Peter spoke through gritted teeth when he ended his sentence. “Wait Penis Parker knows Spider-Man? And has a Stark internship? Wow this is too good, what other lies ya got?” Flash finally joined the conversation. You sighed and turned your attention back to laying down and staring at the ceiling till the end of the period.

“Well if you know him so well why don’t you invite him to Liz’s party tomorrow night?” Flash asked sarcasm clear in his voice, “Wait-wait Liz is having a party?” You perked up again at the sound of Peter’s slightly hurt voice. “Yeah, tomorrow night, my parents are out of town, you and Ned are more than welcome to come and you don’t gotta bring Spider-Man.” You could practically hear the smile in Peters voice when he replied “No-No yeah I’d love to come.” You rolled your eyes and tried to drown out the rest of the conversation.

“Okay, see ya tomorrow.” Liz spoke before the bell rang, finally. You make your way back to the locker room and change out of the gym uniform and into your regular clothes.

Well tomorrow night should be interesting, I wonder if Peter really knows Spider-Man you smile at the thought, that’d be fucking awesome.

Michelle and you took the bus together after school planning on having a sleepover and carpooling to Liz’s party the next day. “I can’t believe you already said i would go without asking me.” you lightly punch Michelle on the arm while getting ready for bed. “Hey what better things do you have going on tomorrow, staring at peter though the peep hole of your apartment again?” Michelle teased, you gasped and placed your hand on your heart pretending to be hurt by the comment. “Michelle that is an important activity and I cannot miss it.” You dramatically said and plopped down onto your bed for the night, the couch. Michelle and you always sleep on her couch for sleepovers, its big enough and comfy as hell.

“Oh whatever Y/N.” she groaned taking her place on the couch and turning on the tv. Within minuets your eyes start to get heavy, you finally give into the sleep tugging at you and fall asleep.

“Thanks for the ride!” you shout at Michelle’s dad before Michelle slams the car door shut. MJ and you start towards the front door already hearing the loud music coming from inside. “Michelle are you sure about this?” You ask grabbing her arm forcing her to stop and look at you “Look Y/N, when are you ever gonna do something like this ever again. Plus, its all apart of the high school experience.” She shrugged making her way to the front door and inside with you trailing behind her.

You were immediately greeted by Liz and shown the way to the kitchen “incase you need something to drink” Liz told you leaving you and focused her attention back onto the party. “Ok so now I Just wait for something to happen?” you spoke to yourself as you grabbed a red solo cup and filled it with water from the fridge. You made your way out of the kitchen and to the couch in the living room, where did MJ go? I’m like the only other person besides Liz she knows here so where - your thoughts were interrupted when your eyes met with the chocolatey eyes of the boy you’ve been waiting for all night.

You smile towards Peter earning a grin back from him before his attention was sent somewhere else, probably Flash shouting “wheres your friend Spider-man? I don’t see him..” You rolled your eyes and made your way over to the duo standing in the middle of the hallway, “Hey hey guys,” you nervously spoke “Finally made it.” you smiled over at Ned, his attention on the rest of the party and not you. “Yeah we got-” Peter got interrupted by a shout from the family room “If you wanna play a game come to the family room now!” you felt a hand wrap around your arm before you could protest you were in the family room seated next to Liz, Peter diagonally across from you with ned next to him and Michelle on your other side.

“Alright,” you heard Liz speak next to you “what game should we play.” a couple of hands flew up in the air and some people shouted suggestions. “How about Seven Minuets In Heaven?!” one voice shouted louder than the others, you looked over at Liz to see she was already ginning with a bottle being handed to her. “Seven Minuets In Heaven it is.” She quickly snapped her head over at you “Y/N, you spin first.” she shoved the bottle into your hand.

“No-no I’m really fine-” you didnt get to finish when you felt a sharp pain in your side from Michelle, your head spun to her side giving her a “what the hell!” look and receiving a shrug in response. You sucked in a breath, all apart of the high school experience right? you tried to reason with yourself. You put the bottle on its side on the ground and spun it, your heat begins beating faster and faster as it comes to a slow down. The bottle finally comes to a stop and your eyes rake up to where it landed, Peter Parker.

You gulped waiting for his reaction as people around him whopped for him but he just sat there eyes wide. “come one you too!” Liz sounded so gleeful and lightly shoved my shoulder for me to get up. Peter must’ve took that as a hint as well and stood up “Wher-uh What closet should we go to?” Peter asked clearing his voice. “the one right at the top of the stairs, we’ll make sure no one goes in.” Liz smiled at Peter and you while you made your way up the stairs. Oh god, what am i going to do, what if he doesn’t want to do anything with me? what if he kisses me and I’m not a good kisser or my breathe stinks- you were ripped out of your thoughts as the closet door was closed and Peter and you were left in the dark.

“uh we-we don’t have to do anything.” you whispered barely audible as you watched Peter set a timer on his phone for seven minuets. “Wh-why don’t we ask each other questions?” Peter asked making a blush creep onto your face, thank god this closet is dark and peters phone light is horrible. “sure-e” you nervously stutter, “you first.” you poke his chest earning a small laugh from him. “Okay, is it true that you have a 4.0 grade average?” You couldn’t help the laugh that  escaped your lips, “What?” Peter asked you could hear the confusion in his voice, “thats the question you wanna ask?” you placed your hand on Peters arm, what am I doing? I’m movign way too fast, “Is that bad?” Peter moved closer to you making you back up into the wall of the closet, your smile fading and a deeper bush replacing it. “uh-no no, I’d just rather not answer it.” You spoke truthfully, “alright,” you could see the smile form on peters face as he inched closer to you.

“your turn.” he whispered making your breath hitch in your throat, he’s so close, if i just move forward slightly i’d finally have my first kiss and with the guy of my dreams, you thought. “you got a question yet?” Peters smile started fading looking into your eyes, “uh- yes, did you really make your own computer?” your eyes scanned peters, he’s so close you can see his beautiful brown ombre iris’s, dark brown to a slightly lighter brown. Your breath hitched in your throat again as Peter flashed his eyes down to your lips for a split second. You start to lean into him, closer and closer to his face when your lips just barely graze each other and then Peters phone goes off.

He jumped back slightly from the sudden noise and looked down at his phone, “Has it already been seven minuets?” You laugh slightly feeling embarrassed for getting so intimate with Peter. “No..” he paused looking up from his phone and into your eyes “But i gotta, I’m really sorry Y/N, I gotta go.” He shook his head slightly before opening the closet and leaving you behind. you stood there shocked, not able to move. Peter and I almost kissed was all you could think as a deep blush crept back onto your face.

You exited the closet and went to see if you could find him at the party anywhere. you got a few weird looks after asking some people if they saw him anywhere but no one could help, not even Ned knew where Peter went.

“Well it’s too bad, we didn’t even get to see his ‘friend’ Spider-Man.” Flash spoke sarcastically to you, you just turned around to go look for MJ and tell her about what had happened, how you almost kissed your life long crush and how he almost kissed you back.

@instishoot he’s ready for his date with mary :^)

What she says: I’m fine

What she means: I still can’t get over how brilliant the Twin Ciel reveal is I mean the author waited over a decade to reveal such a huge plot twist and she paced everything so nicely and the hints are all over the place and amazingly hidden and her use of character POV’s to hide the twin were incredibly done and how much dedication the author put in was outstanding the twin ciel twist takes a tired-old cliche and does something new with it and its a great plot twist and fits the manga so well holy shit

my favorite thing about taz is that since some ppl pointed out to griffin that he used the “bury your gays” (?) trope with hurley and sloane, he promised not to do that shit again so now we have this Law of Gay Immortality where you never have to fear for a queer NPC’s life in taz because Griffin won’t pull that shit again

A/N: it gets hot and steamy. And sexual.

“Where are we going?” Y/N asks as she has to walk a bit faster than she usually does to keep up with Steve. Bucky’s at American Ink, his entire day booked with appointments, and pouted only a little when Steve left with Y/N to run an errand.

“New York museum of modern art” Steve smiles at her and slows his pace to match Y/N’s.

“Is this because I told you I took art classes in college?”

“That’s part of it” Steve smiles secretively, “you remember the first day you came in to the shop?”

“When you were necking with your husband like teenagers?” Y/N grins and mumbles a ‘mission accomplished’ when Steve’s face goes a pretty shade of red.

Adrenaline- just as, if not higher than before the show. Harry is a sweaty, smiling, smug mess of a man who feels nothing but joy and gratitude.

Everything was perfect. Nothing was extravagant, nothing to take away from the sole reason of being at The Masonic- Harry’s performance. He took the breath of many away but put back the colors of love and stardust from the one he captured to make him who he is. The amount of love he has to give is outstanding, the thudding of his heart can be felt throughout his whole body, the blood in his veins have never raced through so quickly.

So there she is, awaiting the man she admires so much, there to kiss him. “God, I’m so proud, I’m so in love, I’m speechless over you and what you’ve achieved,” she cheers. She kisses his fiery lips, she touches him everywhere to make sure that he is indeed, real and not an angel from above.

“I did it, petal. I fuckin’ did it.” Harry is astounded from his own realization. His smile doesn’t waver but the realization that he has just completed his first concert of his first solo tour, takes over his mind. “Yeh saw me up there, and- and it seemed like they were havin’ a really great time and- I jus’ can’t believe it happened.” He grabs Y/N’s hand and leads her to the green room everyone has gathered in. Harry starts by giving Mitch a hug, Y/N goes off to congratulate Sarah and Clare—who are now her best friends. Harry climbs onto a chair and clutches his heart. He shares the most wonderful speech and concludes with a smile to Y/N and tells everyone that he’s going to make her scream louder than the people in the pit.

“I’ve got some energy I needa let out,” Harry smirks. “Think you can help me?” He traps Y/N between him and the back of the hotel door. His lips just barely touching hers since he feels the need to share the cocky smile still adorning his lips.

“What do you think your surprise was going to be?” Y/N counters, leaving a kiss on just his bottom lip—to which he instantly bites after she pulls away. “Would you like to see?”
