Anxious

This imagine has already been uploaded to my account but this will be uploaded with tags so more can view and enjoy it <3

Imagine~ Kai noticing you were anxious and making sure you were okay.

The music boomed through the club but you were the only person who seemed effected by the deafening volume. Alone, you sat at the bar, feeling uncomfortable being surrounded by the drunk, sweaty bodies.

Caroline bounced over to you, clearly tipsy from the alcohol that was running through her veins but due to her vampiric abilities she was able to have a rather high tolerance to it. “Come on Y/N! Let’s dance!” she shouted over the music, knowing you were bored here.

You rolled your eyes and followed her to the main floor, where bodies mingled and danced to the beat. As soon as you reached the crowd, Caroline fell into the abyss of drunk people leaving you alone and cramped.

It didn’t take you long to realize you didn’t fit it and you quickly became uncomfortable in your surroundings. Your breathing became shallow and your heart pounded.

The world seemed to be closing in on you and there was nothing you could do to prevent it. Just as you felt as if you were going to pass out, two arms pulled you up. Your eyes flickered up be met with Kai’s who was staring down at you in concern.

He pulled you out of the crowd but your heart still seemed to be pounding out of your chest. You slowly tried to adjust your breathing but to no avail, Kai still had his grip on you, worried you’d collapse at any second.

“Do you wanna get out of here?” he said, clearly noticing you weren’t getting any better. You gave him a small nod, grateful he at least partly got you out of your situation.

Of all the people you thought would help you, Kai was the last person you could’ve thought of. He was the enemy and sure as hell didn’t take any liking to you which is why it was so surprising he was so willing to help you, you were sure it was another ploy to get back at everyone but at this point you didn’t care.

The cold air hit you and you finally began to regain stability but not enough to be left alone. “Kai, do you mind dropping me home?” you breathed, glancing over at him.

He nodded slowly, his eyes still coated with concern. Gradually, he led you to his car, staying beside you to make sure you were okay. The loud music slowly drifted away as you pushed yourself into Kai’s car, the smell was minty and refreshing unlike the bar which only reeked of alcohol.

Kai soon joined you in the car, revving the engine as you looked out of the window seeing the drunken bodies flowing in and out of the bar. As the car slowly drove away your panic slowly began to calm down, although your breathing still felt some what shallow you couldn’t deny that being away from the party helped.

During the car ride you could constantly see Kai glancing over at you to make sure you were okay but you couldn’t help but wonder why he cared so much. “Um, Kai?” you stammered, clearly still anxious.

He hummed lightly in response, mainly focusing on the road but still willing to listen to what you had to say. “Why’d you help me? I thought you hated me.” you murmured, looking over at him as you awaited his reply.

“When I was younger I had plenty of panic attacks. I always felt anxious especially when I didn’t have control of my magic, it didn’t help that nobody was even there to help so I know how it feels to be alone in that type of situation. Which was why I couldn’t just leave you to suffer because I know how it feels.” he explained, not taking his eyes off the road.

You weren’t sure what to say, you knew about Kai’s past but only on the surface, never anything that was deep into his personality. “Oh, I’m sorry.” you whispered, them being the only words you could utter.

He simply turned to you and gave you a small smile before pulling up outside of your home. You didn’t want to be alone yet but you were hesitant to ask him to come in.

“Do you mind coming in for a bit? I just don’t want to be alone right now.” you said shakily, glancing over at him as if awaiting rejection. But instead he gave you a small, sympathetic nod before stepping out of the car and waiting for you to join him.

Slowly, you got out of the car and approached the porch with Kai following closely behind you. As you entered the home you could feel your anxious thoughts begin to slip away as the aroma of the house shielded you from the outside world.

Taking a deep breath, you stepped inside the home, slipping your heels off by the front door. Kai followed closely behind you, replicating your actions.

“I’m gonna put some comfy clothes on but make yourself at home.” you said, walking towards the stairs and towards your room. Kai shuffled around the living room, looking for a film to watch or at least something to do.

After a while, he simply turned on your TV and put Netflix which was something he’d completely forgotten was a thing. Not long after, you trudged down the stairs with leggings and an over sized jumper on, feeling much better than you did in the tight dress you’d previously been wearing.

You glanced over to see Kai lounged on the couch, watching American Horror Story and eating a bowl of popcorn. “Usually when people say ‘make yourself at home’ people don’t take that literally.” you giggled, looking at how relaxed he was.

Kai simply rolled his eyes, continuing on with his activities as you sat down next to him. The scent of Kai’s cologne radiated onto you and you couldn’t help but breathe in the sweet scent.

As the two of you watched the show in silence you could feel yourself growing closer to Kai. Either you were slowly moving over or he was but sooner or later your head was leaning against his torso as you slowly became more and more sleepy.

After just a few episodes, Kai became aware of your growing tiredness but wasn’t sure if he should leave or stay. Just as he was about to stand up, you could feel the movement beneath you and you knew you would miss his warmth.

“Stay.” you mumbled under your breath and you could feel Kai collapse back onto the couch beneath you. Your head rested against Kai’s torso as he played lightly with your hair.

With the slow background sound of the TV you gradually drifted off to sleep, grateful it was Kai who’d come to save you on the dance floor.

(a/n) in this imagine I would like to say I’m not trying to romanticize anxiety or anything of that sort. I don’t think these should be put out as if a simple kiss will heal it. Mental health isn’t something that should be romanticized so if this imagine feels as if it is I apologize but I did try and avoid it but I also wanted to say that I won’t write imagines that involve that kind of nature<3

Masterlist

Word count:2,061

Warnings: Romance, Fluff, little smut?

Plot Summary: You have to work on a project with a guy you barely know, you thought the assignment would be boring but it turned out to be a lot of fun.

A/n: This one is a little long so I apologise:)  Zach Dempsey is just such an amazing character I cant even! I am also open to requests at the moment if theres anything you would like me to write. Just check my masterlist for the list of fandoms :)

“Ugh” you groaned as you and Hannah walked through the school doors into an already packed hallway.

“Come on the day has just started be at least a little more positive” said Hannah shaking her head at you as the two of you made a left towards your form room.

“It’s Monday how could anyone be positive” you said as you turned the corner.

Bryce came up to you and started talking about the ‘mad’ party he had at the weekend and how you both should have been there. He was standing in the middle of you and Hannah; Hannah thankfully started talking to him so you wouldn’t have to deal with him. As you were walking along you caught the eye of Zach who was about to smile at you but then Bryce threw his arm around you and pulled you close to him Zach’s eyes flicked from you to Bryce and then his arm around your shoulders before he looked at Justin motioning for him to look in your direction as his gaze fell to the floor. Justin turned towards you and glared at Bryce before turning back to Zach.

Hannah Had finally managed to get Bryce off of the both of you and quickly dragged you into your form room before he could give either of you any unwanted affection.

“God he’s such a creep, if he didn’t go around playing the rich kid card and actually talked nicely to people then maybe people would genuinely like him” she said flopping down into her chair that was next to yours.

“Um yeah” you said still confused about what had happened in the hallway.

Hannah leaned a little closer to you.

“Did you see the look on Zach’s face when Bryce threw his arm around you?” said Hannah with a giant smile. “He is so into you” she said before Zach and Justin entered the room.

“It was nothing” you said shaking your head as the form tutor walked in.

Three periods later and you were in biology watching the teacher ramble on about veins and capillaries or something. You were sat next to Hannah on one of the middle benches with your back to the window sitting sideways to the teacher’s desk.

“So you given any more thought to Zach?” asked Hannah in a hushed whisper wiggling her eyebrows at you.

“Shhh” you said your gaze drifting to Zach who was sat on the desk in front of the teacher facing towards the window but on the opposite side of the room.

“Oh come on” she said “he’s glanced at you at least ten times and we are only twenty minutes into the lesson.”

“Yeah right” you said, looking back over at Zach, your eyes met then he quickly turned his attention back to the teacher.

“I told you so” said Hannah elbowing you.

You turned your gaze back to her.

“It means nothing has probably just looking out of the window” you said shaking your head.

“How many more excuses are you going to make” she said sounding defeated. “Fine he doesn’t like you at all, I guess it’s just a coincidence that his grades have dropped since you joined the class, and he only ever ‘looks out the window’ in biology because it makes sense for him to do that in his favourite subject” she said sounding a little mad before turning her attention back to the teacher.

For the next thirty minutes you kept glancing back at Zach but you didn’t catch him looking at you again.

Finally the end of the lesson came and you were more than willing to leave even if it meant that you got to gym class early when the teacher decided to drop a bomb shell.

“Right class as the last assignment turned out to be nothing short of a complete shambles I am going to be putting you all in pairs, the pairs have already been chosen by me so that everyone’s skills will be properly utilised. As extra means to make sure that you complete the assignment I will be giving extra credit to whoever gets an A. But in order to win the prize you must make sure that both of you worked on the project together I will be able to tell.” Said the teacher.

The class erupted in a mix of groans and protests.

“Oh god” said Hannah “I hope I get a geek or something I could really do with the extra credit” she continued biting her lip in anticipation.

“So a geek like Clay” you asked her eyes grew wide and she elbowed you.

“Ok class settle down” said the teacher holding up a list, he began reading out the names.

You listened to the names and made faces at Hannah at pairs that defiantly weren’t going to work out and she did the same to you until, it came to your turn.

“Y/n will be paired with Zach” said the teacher and your eye instantly flicked to Zach who was also looking at you.

“Ooh now’s your chance to get to know him a little better” whispered Hannah, you turned towards her. “Big strong guy like that can teach you all about human anatomy” she said holding in her laugh.

“Ew do you even know how bad that sounded” you said looking at her with the best disgusted face you could muster.

“No but seriously, have you even been paying attention or have you been too busy say dreaming about Zach?” she asked shaking her head.

“What?” you asked confused.

“God you really haven’t have you, look at the title of the assignment dumbo” she said nodding her head in the direction of the board.

Sure enough there was the title of the assignment in big bold letters ‘Human Anatomy’

“I genuinely think that I have pissed someone off up in heaven big time” you said to Hannah in disbelief.

“Or someone up there really wants you two together, imagine how cute your babies would be” said Hannah with a smile.

“How about you and Clay?” you said knowing exactly how to shut her up about the subject.

“Ok I get it, but on another note he’s top of the class so pretty much the best partner that you can have” she finished as you both got up and walked towards the door.

Finally the day was over, and you could head home. You said goodbye to Hannah as you and her both lived in different directions, you were prepared to go home make yourself some popcorn watch a little Netflix and forget about all the events of today. But heaven defiantly wasn’t on your side.

“Hey Y/n” said Zach walking away from the group of jocks and stepping in time with you.

“Hey” you said with a smile praying the world would just swallow you up. No such luck.

“So this assignment, it pretty important that I ace it to get the grade that I want at the end of the yeah so do you think that we could start now?” he asked running his hands through his hair.

Say, no say no, you thought to yourself.

“Yeah” you said out loud mentally kicking yourself, what was wrong with you?

“Ok do you want to come back to my house, I have some books and Wi-Fi that works unlike the library” he said with a small nervous smile.

“Oh you mean right away, right away” you continued.

Just tell him that you have plans right now after school hers your opportunity to get out of this you thought again.

“Yeah ok, that’s fine by me” you said with a smile.

You mentally kicked yourself, why had you agreed, the prospect of popcorn and cheesy movies was within reach but you blew it all off to study with Zach.

“Great” he said with a big smile as the both of you began walking in the direction of his hour.

Twenty minutes later you were walking up the driveway of a rather large house, you looked at it in awe as you passed Zach’s car on the driveway. He opened the door and stepped inside motioning for you to follow. You walk in and the inside of the house matches the outside perfectly with a number of expensive looking ornaments dotted about the place. You followed Zach into the kitchen which again was massive.

“Hey do you mind if I go freshen up a little I just had practice and well” he said motioning to his sports gear that looked a little sweaty.

“No that’s fine” you said with a smile.

“Um… here the wifi password, you can get started on the project while you wait if you want” he said scribbling on a sticky note on the fridge then handing it to you. “See you in a minute” he finished putting his bag on the chair next to yours before leaving the room.

You quickly typed in the password and no sooner had you phone picked up the wifi signal a message from Hannah popped up. You unlocked your phone to answer

Italics = You

Normal = Hannah

So I saw you walking home with Dempsey… ;)

Yep we thought we would start early on the project :)

Oh… should I leave you two to get back to the “Project” then? ;P

What no! I didn’t mean it like that. He’s it the shower

So you wanted him to freshen up a little bit then?

No Hannah, he went to shower by himself and then we are going to start our biology project.

You do realise that he has a giant crush on you right?

Stop it we are just working on biology project nothing more

I know you and I know him so I am certain that it’s going to turn into something more ;P

Ugh whatever, I think I hear him coming down the stairs gtg

Just as you put your phone down Zach came walking into the room wet hair flopping in his face, a tight t-shit that stretched around his arms a little showing his muscles. His sweatpants hanging low on his hips he smiled at you before stepping forward and sitting in the chair next to you.

“So what is our project on then?” he smiled again looking through the various pieces of paper that you had sprawled about on the kitchen table.

You couldn’t help but look at him, he was gorgeous, he looked up at you that’s when you realised that you hadn’t answered his question.

“Um…errr… I don’t know” you said his gaze making you lost for words.

He didn’t say anything but the two of you began leaning closer and closer until your lips connected. He was soft at first delicate, apprehensive. Then as your hands went to his hair tangling though it the kiss grew deeper as his arms wrapped around your waist pulling you closer towards him.

He pulled away from you his face just inches from yours, he didn’t need to speak you bit your lip then nodded. In one swift motion he picked you and your legs wrapped around your waist as he carried you out of the kitchen and up the stairs. You kissed down his jawline and then down his neck finding his sweet spot when a moan escaped his lips. Then you felt the cool wood of his bedroom door on your back as he pushed you into it, causing it to swing open. He walked into the room kicking the door closed behind him before throwing you down on the bed him falling onto of his arms either side of your head as he moved to begin kissing down your neck. One arm went to his waist the other stayed in his hair. A moan escaped your lips and you could feel him smirk against your skin.

His lips returned to yours kissing you deeply, your hands travelled down his back to the bottom of his shirt, you felt his hot skin against your fingertips and began trailing your hands up his back feeling every muscle and contour until your hands reached his shoulders. He pulled away from you briefly to pull his shirt over his head before kissing you again.

Let’s just say you didn’t get any of your assignment done that night…

Could you write a niall blurb about being mad at eachother and he keeps trying to fix it every time he does whatever it is wrong by buying chocolate an flowers and your tired of him doing that to make up for his wrong doing?

Niall had been known to disappear when he was recording.  When the two of you started dating, he took off after your third date because the group was in the middle of recording FOUR.  You didn’t hear from him for almost two weeks.  You moved on, even said yes to a date with another guy.  So when Niall called up the night before your date like nothing was wrong, it took him three hours to get you to understand.

What made you finally crack and give him another chance?  Any man who would spend three hours on the phone trying to convince you he wasn’t playing with your head was probably someone worth taking another look at.

When the group went off to record Made in the A.M. it wasn’t such a shock.  In fact, you weathered the almost three week absence rather well.  You had classes and exams to take your focus anyway.

Besides, when Niall finally returned…he was good at making it up to you.  Very good.

It had been a week since he’d kissed your forehead, told you he would call you later and walked out of your house.  He hadn’t called or texted since.  It was like he’d dropped off the face of the earth.  He didn’t even come home for a change of clothes.

And it wouldn’t have bothered you, if he hadn’t left you sitting next to an empty chair across from your parents at an expensive Italian restaurant.  Your mother did what she always did, she tried to ignore the elephant in the room while your father boisterously exclaimed that he loved Italian food and this was some of the best he’d ever had.

Humiliated didn’t even begin to explain how you felt.  Alone, empty, betrayed and generally pissed off came close.

“You’re the only good thing that i have” – Justin Foley x Reader.

Summary: Focus on the last chapter of the serie, specifically when Justin and his “stepfather” discuss and he throws him out of the house, without the boy’s mother saying anything else. This one shot is focused on the topic of friendship rather than something romantic, what happens after, it‘s left to the imagination of the reader.

Your name: submit What is this?

The smell of butter coming from the kitchen and the sound of the microwave, causes my mouth to water. Finally, whenever I started making popcorn, those three minutes made me eternal. I was amused as I emptied the contents of the bag into a bowl, then I bent down to take out a pot of salsa. Yes it was going to be a great night; I didn’t agree if I thought it sarcastically, or it was true, considering that most of my nights on a Friday were the same. An exhaustive date between Netflix and me; But this evening would be special and not because I expected someone, but because I would have a home alone and could set the television to the highest volume if it hit me. I’m so funny! I laughed at myself as I packed up my supplies on the coffee table. Out of the corner of my eye, I watched Mom go downstairs as she finished putting on her earrings; Dad left his study.

“Are you sure you want to be alone, dear?” I turned to see my mother. “You can join us. They adore you”

I chuckled.

“Because I was a little girl, Mom, now I don’t think they found me so funny unless I let them pinch my cheeks … and that won’t happen.” I pointed to her without erasing my smile. I slammed down on the couch and watched my parents get together.

“Why don’t you call one of your friends?” My father said.

“Because they must be in some party. Besides, I don’t have so many friends.” Me and my smile between teasing and trying to be kind. Sometimes I thought my parents didn’t know me at all.

“You didn’t want to go to the party?”

“Not really. Mom, Dad, I’m perfectly fine with staying here.” I raised my arms.

“And Justin?” I didn’t miss the way the man made a face. What father would like his daughter to be home alone with a boy? Even if that boy was my best friend?

“Probably with Jessica.” I smiled.

I knew Justin Foley since childhood, our parents were friends, or at least my mom was for Justin’s mother, then she started to change and finally they ended up moving away. My friendship with the basketball player didn’t flinch and we got along better than ever, except that I should share him constantly with his girlfriend, I didn’t uncomfortable, however, I also got along well with her, but I knew perfectly when I was doing a bad third and when not.

“Seriously, I’m fine; I won’t share my popcorn with anyone.” I looked at them with feigned adoration.“ You’re going to be late with your friends. Adiós

The little bottle of popcorn lay empty on the coffee table, just like my soda, while I stared at the series on the television. I found it interesting to put myself upside down on the couch, wanting to avoid the boredom I had been having for three hours with my eyes on the TV. It would probably be a good idea to go to sleep, but I wasn’t even sleepy. I had no stories to look at at Snapchat and Instagram, for I had already seen all of them. There was nothing good to do and a part of me regretted not having gone even a while to the party, mocking a few, talking to other people and maybe dancing. I’d be back before my parents came back, but they wouldn’t be back for more than two hours, I wouldn’t have time to do some of those things if I left right now, unless I decided to show up in my pretty pajamas.

I paused the series in progress and stood up taking the junk. I washed, dried them and settled in their respective places. I took a few chocolates from Mom, I knew that she would realize that it were missing two, but that it gave more, I felt like a lot. I returned to the room where I dropped into the sofa and took my phone entering Facebook, almost all my “friends” posted photos of the party, I thought I would find some Justin or Jessica but neither of them had posted anything since hours. I shuddered away from my head what those two might be doing. I left the application and before I blocked it, I got a call from Zach Dempsey. I answered.

“What’s up, Zach?”

“Have you heard from Justin?” He asked in a serious tone.

I frowned and sat on the couch looking at my chocolate, wanting to take the wrapper off with one hand. I focused on the background sound on the other side of the line, i could hear a distant noise that could be the TV, but no music. I was surprised that he wasn’t at the party.

“No. Why?”

“He was calling me a couple of hours ago”

“And … why didn’t you answer?” I shrugged, then chewed my chocolate.

I heard him sigh.

“It’s complicated, Y/N”

“Ok … what’s going on?”

“He didn’t tell you?”

“Is there something he need to tell me?” Okay, now I was confused.

Lately I had noticed the guys acting too strange, they all seemed to be alert, scared, worried, even the face of my best friend seemed increasingly exhausted, repentant, lost and even careless. I still didn’t skip the time when he missed class two days and didn’t show up at the team presentation, when I tried to talk to him, he had told me that he just gave him a stomach infection. I didn’t swallow it, since, after that, it was when the change began. And not only did they look that way, I was even present when Clay Jensen got out of control and accused all of us from causing people to commit suicide, or to speak more clearly, of Hannah Baker. Of course it was a sack that I didn’t have flat, in my life, I dealt with that girl, I only learned of her suicide because it became viral in high school. The only thing i knew about her was that she dated for a very short time with Justin, until his “dear” friend Bryce came up to take his phone and roll the photo my best friend had taken from the poor girl. In conclusion, everyone acted as if at any moment a policeman was behind them with a pair of handcuffs. And I didn’t understand why, and when I asked, they made sure to change the subject, so I just stopped insisting that everyone take care of their life. What if it hurt, was that my own best friend seemed less and less trusting me.

“I just wanted to know if you’d heard of him, Y/N, I see no. I’ll see you Monday”

“Zach” I stopped his intention to cut the call. He waited in silence “If he calls you, you talk to me, please”

“Yes”

After his answer I let him hang me. I leaned one end of the phone on my lips as I thought. I couldn’t know for sure where Justin was, doubted that at home, considering that he had told me that his mother had returned with that imbecile, but neither knew where he could have gone and less in his lost and constantly nervous state. The truth is, that lately, Justin Foley seemed a complete stranger in front of me, was no longer the same funny and carefree boy that I had gotten used to and that filled me with impotence when I thought about him, I was supposed to be one of the People who knew him the most, but, how to help him if he wouldn’t let me in? How to help him if i didn’t even know why he is submerged in constant misery? Didn’t he trust me as much as I thought? But if we told ourselves everything!

I sighed and quickly dialed Jessica’s number. I don’t know why I didn’t call him directly, maybe it was because I was scared to know him in trouble or that he would move away, again, and deny my help, but I would come to him even though he hated me for intervening.

At the third bell, she answered.

“I can’t talk now, Y/N” Jessica was crying?

“Are you okay?” I stood up from the impression. What the hell had happened now? “Jessica, talk to me”

“It’s nothing, Y/N, anyway, you don’t know anything” Sharpened her voice and I was offended “Also, why do you want to comfort me? Your best friend is someone else”

“Did Justin do something to you? I wanted to know if you were with him” she didn’t need me, well, I would just ask her the reason for my call and hang up.

“He was here, yes, and I hope I don’t have him around anymore,” she shouted.

“Jessica…”

But for the second time in the night, I was left alone with the phone in my ear. I went to Justin’s contact and undoubtedly called, but his phone jumped right into the mailbox almost immediately. This asshole had rejected my call. I locked the phone and dropped it on my side. I got tired of trying to help my friends somehow, no one seemed to want to trust me and Jessica had treated me badly. I snorted and rested my elbows on my knees as well as my chin in my hands. What kind of friends had I got? They brought something and completely excluded me from that. Now Justin and Jessica, what problem in paradise now existed? I had never heard her so aggressive and with so much hatred towards my friend, something very big had to happen between them and I was worried, for both of them, at least I knew that Jess was apparently good, but where the hell was the boy? When I discovered and found him, i would give him a good blow.

At least the boredom had passed and I had something to occupy my mind. A case that had no clue and I didn’t even know how to find them.

My phone lit up and I picked it up quickly. Justin’s name lay in the middle of the screen with a new message, I opened it as fast as the artifact allowed me.

I’m outside your house, can you go out for a moment?

I looked at one of the windows, until that moment I had noticed that it had begun to rain. I bit my lip and got to my feet leaving the phone on the couch. Going out in my pajamas was too much, considering that it was urgent to see that my friend was perfectly well, then I would take him to drag him all over the block, to worry me about this way. I took my jacket and my keys and opened the door, there, in the middle of my garden, was my best friend, drenched, hands in his pockets, his sports bag hanging from his body and staring into mine. His appearance looked just like the last few weeks when we had barely spoken, now we were in front of the other and even though i hated to admit it, i felt really uncomfortable.

I spit it out and ended up leaving the house and going into the rain. I slowly descended the porch steps and walked toward it, leaving a considerable distance between the two. Immediately I noticed his swollen eyes, he had been crying and it hurt me that i didn’t know anything about his new, almost permanent condition. I crossed my arms waiting for him to start talking. Neither of us seemed to disturb the rain.

“I know I’ve been pushing you away for a long time.” I raised my eyebrows. He continued, “And I’m so sorry, Y/N, you’re my best friend, I didn’t want to see you getting muddled in this mess; I needed an escape, know that there was still something good and that was you”

“An escape from what, Justin? Your way of acting lately … and that of everyone else? ”

“It’s more complicated than it seems. I didn’t want to tell you, because …”

“You know what? I know that things have gone very bad, and now you come to tell me that you argued with Zach and then you ended up with Jessica, then you remember that at last you have a best friend who cares about you and you come to use it as a cloth of tears” I had been affected by all this, and right now I realized that.

“What?”

“Zach called me a while ago, he told me you called him and he didn’t answer” Justin looked down “Then I called Jessica … who practically sent me to hell for being your so-called best friend. So I guess you’re just coming in to let off steam about that, that’s your problem, Foley.”

“I wish that was just my problem.” He approached me. “I’m an imbecile, Y/N, and that’s why I’ve been losing my friends slowly, even to my girlfriend, Jessica doesn’t want to know about me anymore. I know that if you knew what was happening, right now we wouldn’t be talking outside your house”

“And risking hypothermia” I said “Let’s go in” I suggested.

“Don’t. It will be easier here, you won’t have to ask me to leave you alone”

“What are you talking about, Justin?” I retreated “Who the hell did you kill to act like that?”

“I don’t want to lose you, Y/N”

“You know something? You really are missing out on me. For weeks I tried to help you without knowing what is happening to you, but you throw me away, you tell me not to worry when it is impossible not to do it, and even reject my calls. Now you come here, with me, telling me all this, because I bet, you no longer have anyone else. I’m your last choice, aren’t I?”

I was going to march to lock myself in my house, but he stopped me.

“I didn’t want to come to you!” I looked at him wounded “I didn’t want to do it because I didn’t want to poison you in this hunt” I was about to protest but he silenced me “You’re good, impeccable and graceful. Since the beginning of all this I have needed you desperately, I know that your words will always lift me, but to listen to them you need to know the truth. And I’m not sure you want to hear it”

“Talk about a goddamn time, Foley” I hissed.

“I’m sorry that you’re going to change the perspective you have on me. You have been a true friend to me”

Justin took my hand and took me to take shelter on the porch of my house, was seriously the fact that he didn’t want to enter. My friend had really done something wrong and now I wasn’t so sure I wanted to hear it.

“You remember Jessica’s party.” he started a little nervous. I nodded, how could I forget that party? My neighbor and also friend, Jeff Atkins, had died that night. “She and I were drunk … too”

“I know. I saw you” I murmured.

“We went to her room.” He paused, his eyes filled with tears. “But she was almost unconscious to go on with what we were planning …”

“Justin” I felt breathless.

“I did nothing but lay her down on her bed and cover her with a sheet. She fell asleep and my intention was to take care of her until she felt better.” I nodded following the thread of his story. “When I left her room I stayed at her door for a long time” He took a breath. "Then Bryce appeared, he was drugged and began to insist In that he wanted to enter the room, I told him that Jess was in there very badly. I wasn’t going to let him in.” I covered my mouth as I felt my heartbeat increase. “He manipulated me and entered the room, when I realized what would happen, I tried to remove him, but he pushed me out of the room and closed the door securely …”

“Stop it!” I practically screamed and closed my eyes. I could imagine what had happened then and now I understood why Jessica was crying and her sudden hatred of Justin. My head started to spin.

“I’m sorry” he sobbed.

I looked at him.

“It’s been weeks since that … And you barely spoke?” I chuckled, consumed with horror. Poor Jessica.

Then he explained me that it wasn’t by his will that he had to tell his girlfriend about what happened that night, she didn’t even know it, instead he brainwashed her with lies. Justin began to tell me that it had all started by tapes that Hannah Baker had left after her death, or rather, it came to them after. In these tapes, she explained the reasons why she decided to end her life and in each one spoke about someone specific and the actions they did against her and that led her to cut their veins and bleed in the tub. In one of those tapes, Hannah explained that she was in that room where Bryce Walker had raped Jessica Davis. At least those were Justin’s words.

“I think I’m going to vomit” I mumbled, looking away. “So … Is that why they’re acting like someone is going to kill them? On those tapes Hannah talks about you … about Zach, Jessica, Bryce, and how many more?” Justin nodded.

“I was the first … because of that damn photo that Bryce took”

“God, Justin, why didn’t you tell me?” He blinked confused.

“Are you not upset with me?”

“Of course I am! You’re an idiot and I shouldn’t forgive you! But it hurts me more than you haven’t trusted me”

“Like I said, I didn’t want to poison you with this. I didn’t want to lose you”

“Is that why you’re outside of your house at this hour?”

“Losing my girlfriend, a friend and now my best friend” He pointed at me “It’s not the only bad thing that happened to me this day”

“What else happened to you?”

“My mother’s boyfriend threw me out of the house after reading a summons”

“A summons?”

“Because of Hannah, they found evidence that points us … and well” He shrugged “I have nowhere to stay, they all turned their back on me, I know Bryce won’t do it but I don’t want to see him. Anyway, I’m sorry, Y/N, thank you for being my best friend”

He went down the steps of my house. I almost let him go but I snorted. At first i didn’t intervene because i knew nothing and he didn’t tell me, but now that he had done it, i couldn’t ignore our years of friendship and that he has always supported me. He will be an accomplice to a very serious crime, but i couldn’t bear to know that he was wandering the streets all night.

“Hey, idiot” I called him. He turned.

I walked resolutely toward him and hugged him. I wasn’t going to belong to that group that turned their back on him, because I wasn’t like them. I hadn’t done anything wrong and I wanted Justin, not to help him bother me for the rest of the night and maybe for the rest of my life in this place.

Endgame part 3 - Jughead x Reader

A/N: HERE IT IS LOVES I made it longer as a make up for it being so late xx  Part 1 Part 2

Also this has some parts of the newest episode (Jug’s birthday) but not exactly like the episode, I don’t want Cheryl and V to have beef so I cut that out and made it that they just crash the party for the lols ;) don’t hate me xx

Warnings: Fighting, swearing, angst, drinking etc

Word count: 3687

You got home and set up the couches for Archie and Kevin, then you and V cried about your failed love lives.

Then there was a knock at the door

You were still quite drunk, so the knock made you do a double take, you turned and counted how many people were in the room, Archie, Kevin, Veronica, Me. Who else was there?

You stood up and stumbled towards the door, you opened it slowly, hoping it wouldn’t be Jughead or Betty, they would dare show their faces, would they?

You were greeted by Chuck Clayton, “Chuck?” you asked, never in your life did you expect Chuck to be on your front door, “What’re you-” before you could finish your sentence, you noticed Reggie sitting on the ground, head leant back against the wall.

“What happened to him?” you asked as you noticed the bruises on his face, the blood coming from his nose and mouth, and his hand all cut and bruised.

The World Is Ours

This is just something mediocre to make up for the fact that it’s been so long since I’ve last posted. Enjoy!

Justin stands at the other side of the room, his back straight and the black suit and tie clinging to him perfectly. My heart attempts to escape my ribcages whenever I look at him wearing such a thing, but I’d much rather he be wearing jeans and a T-shirt, just because I know he’d be more comfortable. He nods and smiles every now and then in response to the nonsense leaving the mouth of the man that stands close by him.

I know the smile is fake. It’s tight and hard and doesn’t touch his eyes. I watch in adoration when he licks his lips or bites down on his bottom lip, or runs a hand through his hair, I know he’s not even aware he’s doing any of these things.

Justin I both strongly dislike either of our parent’s parties, in fact, we spend many nights laid in bed and suggesting all the scenarios we could create that could get us out of them. But here we are. Again.

“Oh, [Y/N]!” A voice bellows from the crowd of people dressed in fancy outfits, all of the faces secretly turning their noses up at everyone who so much as brushes their shoulder up against their own.

The voice is nasally and I would assume whoever is calling my name currently has the misfortune of a minor illness if I didn’t know the voice all too well.

“Amanda,” I say through gritted teeth. “How are you?” I ask while turning to my right to face her.

The woman stood before me is a close family friend. She thinks just because she happened to be close with my parents at one point in her life, she has the responsibility of making conversation with me whenever our paths meet. Her hair is cut perfectly and hugs her face. The deep red colour shines through every strand and sways almost in slow motion when she moves her head.

“I’m wonderful,” she slurs. “What about you, dear? What’s new with you?”

Even as she says this, I can guess she’s lying through her teeth. There’s a high chance her husband is cheating on her, and her, on her husband. She’s probably drowning in debt and her children wish they’d never been born. Despite this, she hides it with a smile.

“I’ve been fairly good, thank you,” I say and smile politely. “Not much is new but I’m just trying to appreciate every day.” I try to hold the smile on my face as she nods with a bored look in her eye.

“Rumour has it, you’ve got yourself a boyfriend,” Amanda grins and reaches an arm out as though to touch me, but thinks more of it and withdraws her claws.

‘I didn’t think that was so hard to believe but yes, I do.” I shift uncomfortably in my heels and feel my hand sweating around the wine glass. I alternated it between my hands and wiped my palms against my dress.

“.. Tell me about him,” she says quietly and sips her wine. I can see a red lipstick stain around the rim.

Justin pops into my mind without me having to make an effort. I suppress a smile and find the floor to be quite interesting. “Well, his name is Justin and we met a few years ago at college. He’s somewhere around here, actually.”

“I’d love to meet him.” She’s glancing around the room, and it’s painfully obvious she’s searching for a new target to make her own. I stay quiet and wait to see how long it takes before she disappears.

Eventually, I see her catch sight of her husband at the bar. She waves me off with a forced smile before her heels are click-click-clicking across the floor and through the crowd.

Sighing, I look around the room. People are smiling, laughing and enjoying themselves, sipping wine and making conversation. I tap my nails against the glass and enjoy the sound.

My shoes are the next to click against the floor while I make my way over to the long length table backed up against the wall. All sorts of food has been spread across it and I can feel my stomach rumbling at the sight.

“‘Scuse me, kind woman,” someone says - with a distinctly fake-posh accent - from directly behind me. “Would you mind joining me in a delightful conversation about the ten different yachts I own, and how I went backpacking through Antarctica last year? And let’s not forget about how I own five houses in five different states in America.”

“You suck at accents,” I laugh and crane my neck to see Justin grinning down at me. “What even was that?”

“What? That? Oh, just my imitation of just about everyone in this room.” He rolls his eyes and takes a sip of his half-empty glass of wine. “I’m surprised to see muffins and cookies being served here. I thought it’d be all scones and fancy cakes.”

“Me too,” I say while taking a cookie from the silver platter. I break it in half and feel crumbs fall into the palms of my hand. “Want some?”

Feeling Justin’s closeness, I turn to look at him once more. His mouth is parted and it allows me to see his tongue laying low. His breath is hot against my face. I break the cookie into smaller segments and drop a piece into Justin’s awaiting mouth. Crunching noises ring through my ear, and a sweet kiss lands underneath my right ear after the sound comes to a halt.

“I don’t care how stuck up these people are, they make good cookies,” he mutters quietly and it causes a buzz through my neck that lingers for a few seconds.

While he’s busy crunching down on the remaining cookie, Justin is dragged away by a man I’ve never seen, but is apparently familiar to Justin because I see a small sigh leave his lips. Justin kisses my cheek and squeezes my hand before letting go and making his way through the crowd with reluctance.

I’m left alone once more, surrounded by bodies and feeling out of place. I stroll around the room and listen in to small segment of different people’s conversations; they range from cars to time shares to housing, to holidays in the Caribbean. I end up leaning against the wall in the far side of the room.

It takes another hour or so before I see Justin again, having been dragged into encounters of my own with people I barely know.

When Justin makes an appearance, he comes in close and grips my hand with his. I’m pleased to see him and I smile instantly.

“Let’s go,” he says and I frown in confusion.

“What? Whe-“

“Let’s leave right now, anywhere you wanna go. I can’t stand another five minutes with these people. This isn’t us. We’re not classy or fancy; we sit at home eating pizza and watching Netflix, we hit the stores at midnight looking for cookie dough, we sit on hotel balconies and feel each other up. I want all of that, not this.”

He didn’t have to say anything else to win me over; I’d been feeling the exact same all night.

“Are you in?” he asks and watches me hopefully. I waste no time and nod, and before I can comprehend, my hand is prisoner to Justin’s and we’re gliding in and out of the crowd. I manage to drop my wine glass on the buffet table without spilling anything as I glide passed the it.

Thankfully, we manage to make our way to the door without being noticed or stopped as I thought we would have. I can’t see either of our parents ready to stop us from fleeing either, and this causes a rush of hope to shoot through me that makes me grab the door handle and slide out before Justin does the same.

Almost in a flash, all of the commotion and noise I had to endure over the course of the night disappears. I wonder if I’ve momentarily gone deaf until Justin coughs gently and crushes my rising worry. The night is cold and I can see our warm breath escaping into the night. Justin’s hand keeps my own warm while the rest of my body shivers.

“Where to?” I ask while he’s already busy pulling me down the drive of my parent’s house and across the street. It’s quite late, meaning there’s no one in sight. The street looks frighteningly lifeless.

“Anywhere, just somewhere we can be together,” he replies and his breath flies towards me but disappears before it can touch me.

We end up at a 24-hour store by Justin’s request, his argument being he was hungry, despite having just scoffed anything he could find on the buffet. I didn’t object because I knew I had just enough money in my bag for a drink; my throat was burning for something other than overpriced wine.

The store was the only source of light on the street, it was getting darker by the minute and the streetlights were either broken or not on a schedule and had been abandoned for the night. Either way, I had that familiar thankfulness you feel when you see artificial lights and life after all you’ve seen is darkness for a long period of time. It was comforting.

Behind the counter however, was a man who didn’t seem very happy he was working the night shift. He looked half-dead as we walked through the automatic doors and made no effort to adjust himself to appear friendly.

Justin’s hand had been holding my own all the way to the store, but as soon as we were walking down the aisle full of food, his fingers slid away from my own.

“God, I’m starving,” he mutters while grabbing anything in his sight from the shelves. It’s not long before he’s cradling his items in his arms and walking towards the counter.

Meanwhile, I grab a bottle of water from the chilled section while trailing Justin like a puppy. The packaging crinkles loudly as Justin drops his things and I place my bottle down quietly. The cashier doesn’t look impressed and sighs heavily before straightening up.

Once we’ve paid, and the cashier has received a long, hard stare from Justin after asking him if he’d like a bag, we’re back out in the cool air and strolling off into the darkness. The bag rustles and disturbs the quiet but Justin doesn’t seem to care.

“Where to now?” I ask.

“Wherever we want, babygirl. The world is ours. I just want to be with you,” Justin replies, my heart would have been beating a lot faster if he wasn’t busy rummaging through his bag for the packet of Oreos he’d just bought.

“Miss Y/N!” You heard a girly voice behind you, and when you turned around, you saw Natasha was running to you. You let your lips to get a form of a big smile for her.

“Hey, Natka,” you responded. She wanted you to call her Natka, too, since this was the name that only her father calls her. You had felt special when she told you to call her Natka, too. “What can I do for you?”

Natasha sent you a big, warm smile. “I drew something for you, Miss.” She handed you a paper. You made a move to open it but she stopped you in the second. “No!” She exclaimed, shaking her head. “Not here, please,” She added quickly. You furrowed your brows but didn’t make any move.

“Okay,” You said. “I’ll open it at home, then.” Natasha nodded.

“Yes, please,” She said, her smile had turned into a shy one and you realized that her cheeks were rose pink. A small smile spread your face as you looked at the little girl. You giggled quietly. You and Natasha heard the class bell ring.

“Okay,” You said again. “Go to the class, now.” Natasha nodded and threw a big smile at you. She turned around and ran to the class before you can warn her about not running. You rolled your eyes but there was still a small smile on your lips. You looked at the paper in your hands, tried to decide about opening or not. She didn’t want you to open it in school, so you decided to wait. You put the paper in your purse as you were walking to your class to meet with the parents.

And then, you hit some hard wall, which there shouldn’t be any walls on your way to the class. You cursed silently as you looked up.

“Hey, doll.”

You heard his voice before your eyes had found his, that same devilish smirk was still on the place.

“You should be careful while you were walking. Because you are looking a little bit clumsy person.” He stated. You laughed at him. A little bit was a compliment for you, you were the worst.

“Yeah,” You said. “I really should.” You both didn’t say anything for a couple seconds. “What are you doing here?” You finally asked him. His smirk turned a small smile.

“I’ve been told that there will be a meeting with parents, so here I am.” He extended his arms to his sides and bowed. You giggled.

“I was actually going there,” You said to him, smiling. “Come on.” He nodded and reached for his hair to laid it back a little more. “It looks good, perfect even. You’ll find a single mom there, if that’s why you are nervous.” He laughed at your words. Only you knew the truth, he thought.

“Well, there is actually one, that I want to impress, but I don’t think that she’ll be interested in me.” He shrugged and you suddenly felt sorry about him.

“Oh,” You said with a sad face. “Just try to talk to her, tell her what you want to do with her and I’m sure you’ll handle the rest with your charm.” Your voice was soothing, eyes were sincere.

Bucky looked at you. You were clueless, and it only made you more beautiful and somehow innocent in his eyes. You were perfect, goddamn it, but you didn’t have any idea. Bucky was determined to show that to you.

“Will do,” He responded your words just before you both got into the class. You smiled at him and he winked at you as respond. The only thing he should do is, waiting for this meeting to end.

When the meeting finally –fucking finally– ended, Bucky made his way to you.  It was hell to wait; to watch you talking calmly and asking for students who has any talents to draw, or sing, or dance or whatsoever.

“Hey,” Bucky called you. “Can I speak with you for a second?” His icy blue eyes were warm and soft, capturing you from head to toe. You supressed a shiver as you were nodding.

“Sure,” You said. He hesitated before he moves, but he got rid of it quickly, getting out the class. “What’s up? Do you wanna ask something about Natka?” He smiled at the nickname. He knows his daughter well that she won’t let just someone to use that nickname on her, so he kinda got his approve from his little girl.

“Uhm…” He forgot what is he going to say for a second, his attention swapped to your beautifully furrowed brows and concern shining eyes.

“Spit it out, what is it?” She pressed. He blew out a breath from this suffocating lungs and filling them back again with your perfume.

“Shut up, you are making it harder,” he groaned. Then cursed himself for sounding so harsh.

“Yeah? What do you mean about I am making it harder?” You crossed your arms on your chest, one brow was raised on the air.

“Well, I’m having a hard to find the right words to say it because here you are, shining like as gorgeous as sun.” He paused, then smiled at you. It was a small, slightly shy smile that your ever saw him wearing. Your heart flattered in your rib cage. “You kinda hurting my eyes in a very very good, and it makes the word in my mind flew away. Convinced now, doll?” You blushed furiously.

“Christ,” you whispered to yourself. He was a hard person to stay mad, both apperance and presence.

What I was going to say is, uh, if you don’t have any plans tonight, would you like to have a dinner with me?”

Your jaw dropped open, as your brows shot up to your hair roots. You quickly fixed your face, couldn’t stop the blush creep on your cheeks way more redder than ever.

“I don’t remember having a plan tonight… I was thinking watching Netflix till I pass out.” You took a deep breath. “But a dinner sounds better than Netflix for the first time.”

He smiled so big that you can see few crinkles around his corners. And you realized that you are giving him a smile very similiar to his. “It’s good to hear!” he said with a enthuastic voice. His eyes were shining like a star and the crinkles around his eyes were multiplying.

“Yeah,” you said. He laughed and coughed.

“Can I take your number? You know, for texting you about where is your home and stuff.” You giggled as you giving him your number. “I’ll call you in next couple hours, is it okay with you?” You nodded.

“Yeah, it’s fine. I’m gonna head home anyways, I don’t have any class today.” He shook his head.

“Natty’s classess are finished, too. I can drop you to your house if you want?” You smiled slightly at his offer.

“No, thank you though. But I have my own car and I really don’t wanna leave it in school yard. The students are thinkin they are making jokes, when they are crushing cars.” You rolled your eyes, listening him chuckle quietly.

“Okay, then, see you tonight,” he said to you while he was walking back. You nod, and pointed someone behind him. Before he turned around Natasha jumped on him.

“Daddy!” Her sweet, hoarsy voice rang on your ears, making you smile. Bucky made a ‘oof’ sound when Natasha crashed him.

“Hey, kitty,” He scratched her head and messed her hair. You giggle a little loud this time and caused both of them to turn you with a big, almost same smile on their faces.

What a scene to see, you thought.

A dinner date with Bucky Barnes is not what you had imagined.

You imagined something like, sweet but some charming smiles sending on your way and maybe a few compliments. Flash news hit you hard, it wasn’t.

It was full of flirtous looks and compliments, and gestures. Sometimes he would touch your hand, or put his hand on your waist –just like he did when you both walking towards to your table at the restaurant–, sometimes he would send you his infamous devilish smirk with dark sparkles in his eyes. It was overwhelming in a good way. And you had fun with him.

“I hope I didn’t cross any lines tonight,” he said to quietly, while you two were walking on the sidewalk. You shake your head as no. It was amazing.

“No, you didn’t. It was amazing.” He looked at you with shining now-grey eyes.

“Was it, really?”  He asked you, and you nod.

“Yes, it was. And I’d like to do it again. Like very much.” He smiled and dropped his arm on your shoulders in one swift move.

“Good to hear, because I was going to ask you out again.”

“I asked you this time, keep up, old man,” you mocked. He laughed as he dropped his head, shaking. There it is, those cute little crinkles again, you thought.

“I was thinking…” he muttered to himself, but you were in the range to hear it. You looked up to him, waiting.

He leaned into you and pecked your lips for once, to see your reaction. You froze, but you cracked up quickly. grabbing him by the neck and pulled him to yourself. Since the first time you saw him, you always wanted to kiss him like this and now, this was your chance.

He sighed into your mouth as he lets his hands travel all the way down to your back and finding theirselves a spot on your hips. He squeezed your hips a little and tilted his head to right, so he can deepen the kiss the way he wanted. You moaned into his mouth, grasping his hair as something to hold on to.

You were the one who breaks away from the kiss. Your lungs were screaming at you for a little breath, so you just gave them that and found his mouth again. He laughed into the kiss and pulled you even more closer to his running-hot body. You whined quietly, grabbing his bicep. You  pulled away, looked at him right in the eye and saw how dark his eyes were.

“Wanna come inside?” You asked. Usually you weren’t fan of those ‘one date and done let’s go to bed and I let you fuck me till the sun comes up’ type but if she got to be honest, Bucky did things to her. Changed her. In a good way, though.

“If that’s waht you really want,” he said, shrugging. You nodded instantly, a little too excited about what’s about to happen. He nodded, too, and took your hand into his, placing a kiss onto your temple. The two of you walked the last sidewalk together, your hands were discovering your bodies while you were walking.

When you reached to your door, your pulled out your key from your purse, causing Natasha’s drawing fall onto the ground.

“What’s that?” Bucky asked. You kneeled down and grabbed the paper. Natasha said that you can open it when you are at home. Well, you are kinda at home at the moment so you opened the paper.

“It’s Natka’s drawing,” you answered him just before you take a look on the drawing.

Your breath hitched, just like Bucky’s.

In the drawing, there was Bucky, Natasha and you, holding hands, walking on the beach on a very sunny day. There was also two dogs besides you. Natasha was laughing and Bucky and you were smiling warmly at her. His left arm was behind you, you noticed. You looked happy and so good with Bucky. You felt tears threatining you, so you pulled yourself together quickly.

“That’s…” Bucky started but couldn’t finish his sentence. When you looked up to him, you saw tears in his eyes. You turned around quickly and wiped away the tears. “She never…” Bucky’s breath hitched again. You understood at that moment that this drawing is more important for Bucky than for you.

“I’m sorry,” you found yourself apologising. Bucky looked at you, confused.

“Why are apologising…?” Then, he laughed lightly. “It’s not.. There is nothing to be sorry for, Y/N. It’s just…” Bucky paused for take a deep breath. “After her mother died, she stopped drawing. Only thing that she doodles some very amateur flowers. Last she draw a picture, like this one, her mother was at the hospital. It’s, I-I’m–“ You cut him off, placing a soft kiss on his lips.

“It’s okay. She’s okay. You’re okay.” You smiled at him. “Does this drawing has a meaning?” He laughed through the tears.

“Oh, yeah, sure it does.”

“What is it, then?” Your curiosity was getting ahead of you. He pulled you at himself by the waist and placed another kiss on your temple, and forehead this time.

“Don’t be surprise if she starts calling you ‘mama’ at school,” he said and laughed again in your hair. You stood still for a minute then chuckled silently.

“I think I got her blessing.” Bucky laughed, but louder this time.

“I think you did, yes,” he said.

Then your lips meet again, but filled with happiness and love this time.

After a month later, when your relationship with Bucky became a little more serious, Natasha called you ‘mama’ at the school’s hallway and you just smiled warmly at her. She was happy, Bucky was happy and you were happy. That’s all what you wanted from life.

YOURS: AN ETHAN DOLAN ONE SHOT SERIES

I recommend reading He Was Lost before reading this.

Ethan Dolan forgot what it’s like to be annoyed at his brother. Not ‘dammit Grayson, why’d you have to go and drink all the milk’ kind of annoyed, but more like ‘dammit Grayson, why’d you have to bring up the love of my life who I stupidly let go of and miss more than anything’ type of annoyed. He is peeling oranges near the counter and Grayson’s mixing some pancake batter, tossing in handfuls of chocolate chips.

Betty Cooper’s Day Off

[Jughead] took off his shoes, like always. He trudged up the stairs, and when he reached Betty’s bedroom doorway, the door was wide open.

And what had he seen first? Betty’s ass.

Not her entire, bare ass, mind you. It was partly covered.

Her head was pointed away from the door, towards her TV, propped up in her hand. She was staring fixatedly on whatever was on the screen. And the volume was up loud.

Her tiny tshirt - was it a tshirt? - was riding up her stomach and her legs were bare. Her underwear was showing just the edges of her butt, but it was facing him, greeting him in the doorway.

He had to stop looking at it, because it was giving him ideas.

So he cleared his throat.

Secret Love Song - Harry Styles Mini Series (Part 4)

Part 3

Who is Harry Styles Trying to Kid? by Y/N

As most of you already know, Harry Styles from One Direction came out with his first solo single and performed it for the first time in America on Saturday Night Live. I was lucky enough to interview him and hear the single a few weeks ago.

Here is my opinion on both Harry Styles and his music.

While the interview went okay, Harry was very rude and couldn’t wait to get out of there. Going solo as turned him into a bit of a dick of a pop star.

And his new single isn’t anything special and outside of his vocal range, as shown on during his SNL performance when Styles couldn’t hold a note to save his life.

The fact of the matter is Harry Styles the solo artist will not see the amount of success as Harry styles from One Direction.

**

You had just gotten out of the shower to get ready for work. You were picking out your outfit for the day when you got a phone call. You smiled when you saw Harry’s name flash across the screen of your phone. Your article came out that day, so you were wondering if he had read it yet.

“Morning, Harry,” you smiled.

“What the fuck Y/N?” He shouted from the other side of the phone.

“Woah, what’s up with you?” You asked confused.

“Me? What about you? I can’t believe I trusted you,” he said. “You played me and I let you. So, our time together was just a game to you, right? Now, you’re going to put all the shit we’ve done and talked about in another article right? I can’t believe I fell for that bullshit about how you were worried about your job.”

“Okay, I have no fucking idea what you’re talking about? And what other articles? The only article that I’ve written about you is the one that came out today,” you said.

“Exactly. Did you think I wouldn’t read it?” He asked. “That I wouldn’t what you really think about me or my music?”

“Everything I said in that article is the same thing I’ve told you,” you said confused.

“Yeah, don’t exactly remember you saying there wasn’t anything special about my single or that the notes were out of my vocal range. Or that I was fucking dick either,” he said.

“Woah, woah, woah, I don’t think that and I never said those things in my article. Are you sure this is my article?” You said.

“It’s in the magazine that you work for and it has your name in the fucking byline Y/N,” he said. “My Mum and sister were right, I never should have considered seeing you because you were just going to use me and you did. But not anymore. We’re done.”

The other line went dead and you just stared at the phone with furrowed eyebrows. You quickly went to the website of your magazine and saw the publication. You clicked on it and searched for your article, but as soon as you started reading it, it was not your article.

You threw your phone down and quickly got dressed. You knew this was Madison’s doing and her way of getting back at you.

When you got to your office, everyone was staring at you as you angrily walked towards Madison’s office.

“What the hell is your problem Madison?” You asked pushing her office door opened.

“I take you read the article?” She smirked.

“What did you do it? I never said anything like that and I can’t believe that you still put me in the byline when I didn’t even write it,” you said.

“Look, it’s nothing against you. Your article was good, but that article wouldn’t have sold any magazines. My changes to the article create drama and bring readers to the magazine. Any magazine can write about how nice he is or how great his music is, but by us having an article calling him out for shit, makes us stand out on the newsstands,” she said.

“That’s such bullshit, you and I both know you wanted me to look bad because it was your article first,” you said. “And Harry is nothing like what you pegged him out to be.”

“You know, you’re quite upset about this,” she said. “There wouldn’t be some other reason for you to be angry about this would there?”

“Other than the fact that you’re messing with my career as a journalist, no,” you said.

She laughed. “You’re not a journalist, sweetie. None of us our journalists. We work for a gossip magazine and that is what my article provided gossip. Now, run along and work on something else, unless you’d rather be on intern status again.”

Your fists clenched and you glared at her before walking out of her office and into your own.

**

Harry was furious, so he decided to get some of his anger out at the gym. He didn’t know what pissed him off more, what you had written in your article or the fact that you played him and he really liked you.

He punched the punching bag as hard as could. His arms were burning and sweat was dripping all over him. When he couldn’t take it anymore, he stopped and grabbed the bag, putting his forehead on it. He tried catching his breath, but all he could think about was you.

He had been at the gym for an hour by the time he decided to call it quits. He grabbed his bag and headed to the car. He drove home and went up to take a shower. When he got out and redressed, he signed when he saw the magazine laying on his bed.

He picked it up and started ripping it apart. His initial anger was now turning into hurt because he finally thought he found someone to be in his life, but once again he got screwed over.

His phone had been going off all day, mostly from his mom and sister and a few from Nick. He knew they knew who had written the article and he didn’t need his family to say they were right.

He went downstairs to make himself some lunch, trying to get his mind off of everything.

**

You sat in your office for over an hour trying to work, but you couldn’t. You were so upset. Not only did this hurt you as a journalist, but it obviously screwed up any chance you had with Harry.

You really needed to talk to him and explain the situation, but with the way he sounded on the phone this morning, you weren’t sure he would hear you out.

You emailed your boss and told her you were taking a half day and would just work from home for the rest of the week. You grabbed your things and headed home.

As you made yourself some lunch, you kept looking at your phone. You bit your lip as you contemplated on calling Harry or not. You thought it might be better to give him space.

You were eating lunch and you jumped when your phone started to ring. Deep down you hoped it was Harry, but it was your best friend instead.

You sighed answering the phone. “Hey,”

“What are you doing tonight?” She asked.

“Um, sitting at home eating ice cream while watching Netflix,” you said.

“I take it things are over with mystery guy?” She asked.

“Pretty much,” you sighed.

“Girl, that’s sucks, but drowning yourself in ice cream in Netflix isn’t going to help,” she said. “Come out with me tonight.”

“You know I don’t do clubs,” you said.

“No, but you do drinking and dancing,” she pointed. “Plus, you might meet a new mysterious guy to have a secret love affair with.”

You rolled your eyes. “You’re not going to drop this until I agree to go are you?” you asked.

“Nope,” she smirked.

“Ugh, fine, pick me up around 7,” you said.

“Perfect,” she said. “See you then.”

You sighed hanging up the phone, you did not feel like going out tonight, but she was right, ice cream and Netflix wasn’t going to help.

**

Harry was searching through Netflix trying to find something watch. Everything that was popping up was either something he had already seen or some rom-com movie. Usually, he always loved watching a nice romantic movie, but not today. He wanted to stay far, far away from it.

There was a knock on the door and he groaned. He got up and went to answer it, seeing the one and only Nick Grimshaw standing there.

“I see you’re still alive,” he said.

“Yep,” Harry nodded.

“Well, had you been answering your phone, I wouldn’t have had to make this trip,” he said.

“You didn’t have too,” Harry pointed out.

“No, I didn’t, but when you’re not even answering your Mum’s calls, I know you’re going through some shit,” he said.

“I just didn’t want to talk to anyone,” he shrugged.

“Look, sulking in your house isn’t going to help the situation, so why don’t you come out with me tonight,” Nick said.

“Yeah, not exactly in the mood,” he said.

“Too bad, not get changed and we leave in 10,” Nick said.

Harry rolled his eyes and let out a few choice words before making his way to his bedroom. He threw on some clothes and went back down to the door.

“Happy?” Harry asked holding his arms out.

“Ecstatic, now let’s go,” he said.

**

Once you arrived at the club, you felt really uncomfortable. You hated being around that many people, but you made your way through the crowd following your friend.

“Isn’t this place great?” She shouted. “I mean look at all these hot guys.”

“Is that all you think about?” You shouted over the music.

“Yes and no,” she shrugged.

You laughed shaking your head. You both finally found a spot to be at and you sat down at the booth. You looked over the menu to see what drinks they had, when you heard your friend scream.

“What the hell?” You said.

“HARRY STYLES IS HERE!” She shouted.

You felt yourself go numb and your face flush.

“Didn’t you interview him?” She asked.

“Yeah,” you nodded.

“Well, I would ask you to introduce me, but after seeing your article about him, I don’t think that’d be a good idea,” she said.

“So, you read that?” You asked.

“Of course I did,” she said. “But is he really a jerk? And I can’t believe you didn’t like the song or his performance. You were pretty harsh on him.”

“I didn’t write any of that. What was published wasn’t the article I wrote. Madison changed everything and it was her article that was published under my name,” you sighed.

“Wait? Seriously?” she asked.

“Yep. She claimed it was for the benefit of the magazine, to sell more and create drama, but I really think it was to get back at me for being the one to interview him in the first place,” you said.

“What a bitch,” she said.

“Yep,” you sighed. “Anyway, let’s get some drinks.”

Harry and Nick arrived at the club and went right in. The place was packed, which annoyed him a little bit. He wasn’t in the mood to be around a shit ton of people. He just wanted to go home.

“So, do you want to talk about it?” Nick asked.

“Talk about what?” Harry said taking a sip of his drink.

“I think you know,” he said.

“There’s nothing to say,” Harry said.

“The article was brutal. I never would have pegged Y/N for that. You two seemed to really hit it off,” he said.

“Yeah, we’ll I guess we didn’t really know her,” he said. “And whatever was going on with us is over now, so can we drop it? I thought this was supposed to be a fun night out?”

“And it is,” he said.

Harry sighed downing the rest of his drink. “I’m gonna go get a refill,” he mumbled getting up and walking to the bar.

Of course, the bar was completely crowded. Everyone was pushing their way through to get drinks and you were stuck in the middle of it. You felt your palms getting sweaty and your heart starting to beat faster. You felt a tight knot in your throat and you were looking for a way out of the crowd.

That was when you noticed Harry making his way towards the bar. While you wanted to see him and talk to him about everything, you knew this wasn’t the time or place.

You breathing started to quicken and you were beginning to feel dizzy. You called for you friend, but she wasn’t able to hear because of the noise from the crowd and the music.

Your chest began to tighten and you grabbed it as you tried to push your way through the crowd.

“Excuse me,” you said in between gasps, but no one was paying attention.

You felt tears forming in your eyes until you felt someone take your hand. You looked up and saw that it was Harry. He pushed through the crowd, holding your hand as he pulled you through. He found an exit door to the back of the club and you felt the cool air hit your face.

“Hey, it’s okay,” he said rubbing your arms. “Just breathe. Take deep breaths. In and out.”

You gripped onto his arms and tried taking the deep breaths. You closed your eyes and after a bit, you felt it going back to normal. When you finally were over your spell, you opened your eyes and looked at him.

“T-Thank you,” you said shivering as the cold London air hit your shoulders. You had left your jacket at the booth.

“Here,” he said taking off his jacket and wrapping it around you. “Are you okay?”

“Sort of,” you said.

“What happened back there?” he asked.

“I uh, I get like that sometimes in big crowds,” you admitted. “It just got to be too much.”

He nodded. “Well, I’m glad you’re okay,”

“Thanks,” you said. “Um, can we talk?”

“I should probably get back inside,” he said.

“Oh,” you whispered. “Okay.” You took his jacket back off and handed it to him.

He took it back and put it back on. “Well, uh, are you sure you’re okay?”

“Yeah, I’m fine,” you said.

He nodded and went to go inside, but noticed you weren’t following him. “Aren’t you going to go back inside?”

You shook your head. “I’m just gonna go home,”

“What about your friend?” He asked.

“I’ll call her and let her know,” you shrugged. “I’ll be fine,” you said wiping your eyes.

You turned around and started walking towards the front of the club through the alleyway.

Harry sighed. “Y/N, wait!” he said running up to you. “Let me take home.”

“You don’t have to do that. I don’t want your pity,” you sighed.

“I’m not pitying you. I just, I want to make sure you get home safe,” he sighed.

“Okay, so you won’t talk to me, but you feel sorry enough for me to make sure I get home safe?” You asked annoyed.

“Look, I’m just trying to be nice. If anyone should be upset, it’s me,” he said. “That shit that you wrote about me…”

“I DIDN’T FUCKING WRITE IT,” you screamed. “And if you would have given me the chance to explain what the fuck happened you would know that.”

“It had your name on it, Y/N and you interviewed me, so if you didn’t write it, who did?” he asked.

“My editor! She hates me and it didn’t help that she was the one who was supposed to interview you that day, but she got fucking hungover and couldn’t make it. So, she wrote that shit about you making it look like I was the one who wrote it just so I could look bad. But she claimed it was for the magazine or some shit because it would create drama, but whatever,” you said. “So, please spare me the nice guy routine about making sure I get home okay when you obviously don’t really care.”

“That’s where you’re wrong, I do care,” he said. “And that’s reading that article hurt me, Y/N. God, I was pissed and hurt because I care about you and I thought you…” he sighed.

“I don’t think of you like that and I don’t hate your song. God, none of what was in that article is true. And I get why you were so upset because I’m upset about it too. If I had known Madison was going to pull that shit, I would have tried to stop it or at least warn you,” you sighed.

“I really like you Harry and these past few weeks have meant a lot to me and I’m sorry that I ruined it,” you sniffled.

Harry sighed walking closer to you. “You didn’t ruin it. I did. When I called you this morning, I should have asked you about it, instead of acting like I did. And I really like you too. More than anyone I’ve ever been with in the past. These past few weeks, I’ve been the happiest I’ve ever been,” he smiled.

You looked up at him. “Me too,” you smiled. “But I guess, they’re over now.”

“They don’t have to be,” he whispered taking your hand.

“Are you sure?” you whispered.

“Yes, I’m sure. I know what I said this morning, but now that I know the truth…” he whispered. “I know I was a jerk and shouldn’t have said what I said, but if you’re willing to give us another shot…”

“Only if we both promise to talk about things first before jumping to conclusions,” you said.

“I agree,” he smiled. “So, what do you say?”

You smiled leaning up to kiss him. Harry smiled into the kiss and pulled you closer to him. After a bit, you pulled away, “Wanna go back to my place? I can let you read my real article?” you asked.

“I’d love too,” he smiled.

Harry called for his car to pick you two up around back. He helped you inside and gave the driver your address. On the way to your house, you wrapped your arms around Harry’s and he kissed your forehead.

That day had been a whirlwind of emotions, but you couldn’t be happier with the way it had ended.

17: I Have Questions: Question 1

A little piece inspired by the song ‘ I Have Questions’ by Camila Cabello.
Feedback is amazing, so feel free to let me know how you’re feeling about this!
Part 2 and 3 to come.

‘Number one; tell me who you think you are. You’ve got some nerve trying to tear my faith apart.’

It had been building up for a while, little fights just piling up in the back of your mind and pulling from your focus frequently.

Last Saturday it had been about money, and about how you felt that you were not ever allowed to pay for anything that involved the two of you.

“It’s not fair on you, though! A relationship is a two way street and you’re not letting me have anything in it!” You exclaimed over the island in the kitchen of your flat.

“It doesn’t bother me!” His arms were flailing as he moved them to help emphasise what he was saying.

“But it bothers me!” You put your hands on the granite counter, “You’ve got all the damn power in this and it isn’t fair!” You were thankful that it was a Saturday and weekend that Nora had decided to spend at her family house in the countryside. This wasn’t something you wanted her to hear.

“This is stupid,” and he shook his head. “Why can’t I pay for things?”

“You can, Harry, but not everything. I’m feeling like I’m obligated to do something for you but you won’t let me. This isn’t how it’s supposed to be.”

“This is stupid, I’m not arguing about this.” And with that, he turned on his heel, waved as he does when he sees strangers staring at him. You stood there in shock that he had just walked out on you, and you heard the door shut behind him

Valentine's Day

Summary: After a rough Valentine’s Day, who else would be there to comfort Lucy other than Natsu?

Pairing: Natsu/Lucy Genre: Hurt/Comfort, Friendship

Word Count: 1,561

Also found on FF.net

Valentine’s Day. A day loved by many, and a day hated by others. Usually, Lucy would be a part of the ‘love group’ but not this year. No, this year her boyfriend of ten months broke up with her in a text message on the day she looked forward to each year.

So that would help explain why the blonde woman was currently sitting on her couch in her apartment with a tub of melting chocolate chip mint ice cream and watching Hallmark movies.

She was swaddled in an oversized hoodie she had “accidentally” taken from her best friend a few months back. With the hoodie, she wore a pair of old ratty sweatpants and had her golden hair in a very messy bun. She didn’t care in the slightest about how she looked at the moment.

Lucy glared as she watched the actors in the movie she was watching kiss after they confessed their love for each other. She bitterly stabbed her spoon into her ice cream in an attempt to stop herself from throwing said spoon at her TV screen. It’s been proven to be a harder task with every movie she watched. Why she was torturing herself like this? Who knows. Maybe it’s for the ice cream. At least, that’s what she tells herself. She pulled the red fabric of the hoodie’s sleeve that bared her old college logo over her hand as she wiped away the tear forming in her eye.

She refused to waste anymore of her precious tears on that fool. Erza’s words, not hers.

Her phone buzzed on the coffee table going unnoticed until a familiar ringtone drowned out the noise coming from the TV. The song ‘Strike Back’ blared through her speakers loudly, Natsu’s name flashing on the screen next the picture she had set for his contact which was of him and her the day they went to the fair, two wide grins directed towards the camera with his arm wrapped around her shoulders.

She sighed slightly, knowing that it would be best to pick up the call instead of declining it like she with all of her other friends. It seems that she had taken to long to answer though, because as she was reaching for the cell, her phone went silent.

Mentally, she was relieved. As much as she would want to talk to Natsu she knew it would just end with him scouring the city for Dan so he could challenge him to a fist fight, and Lucy really did not want to be called down to the station again to post bail for her best friend. It was bad enough that Laxus had her set on speed dial!

And if Laxus had gotten wind of the situation from Natsu, he would’ve just joined in on the fight somehow managing to find a way to drag Gray and Gajeel into the matter as well. So all in all, it would just end up being a giant mess.

Instead of sitting around and moping for the rest of the day. Lucy decided that it was high time for her to get herself in bed after a nice long bath.

Once she had finished her relaxing bath, she changed into the fuzziest and warmest pajamas that she owned before tiredly crawling into her bed, ready to just sleep the rest of this horrible day away.

But of course, fate had a different idea.

Lucy cuddled into her covers, closing her eyes and was ready to fall asleep. But suddenly, her door was kicked open, followed by Lucy screaming bloody murder until she saw locks that were her favorite color. Pink, letting her immediately know who it was that had broken into her house. Again.

There, under the doorframe leading to her bedroom, stood her best friend with a wide grin. Natsu’s smile grew as he saw Lucy’s face. In his arms were his laptop, a box of her favorite chocolates, a bundle of red roses, and Happy. His poor cat was squashed between everything and held tightly to his owner’s chest, meowing in annoyance.

“Natsu? What are you doing here?” Lucy yawned as she pushed herself up. The oddly colored cat managed to writhe his way out of Natsu’s arms, dropping to the ground before skidding his way over to the blonde woman. Happy hopped onto her bed before immediately pushing his head into her chest, purring as he crawled his up to her shoulder.

“We’re havin’ a Netflix binge day and yer gonna like it.” Natsu declared, tossing her silver laptop that was decorated with a beautifully drawn dragon that was surrounded by flames onto her bed. She spent a little while admiring his artwork as she always did before eying the chocolates and roses. On the hand that was holding the flowers, was a mirage of blues and purples that covered his knuckles. Upon further inspection, Lucy noticed that his lower lip had an angry red gash running up it, disappearing at the curve of his lip.

“Did you get into a fight Natsu? Again?” This man that she called her best friend always got into fights, at least twice a week, so it shouldn’t have come as a surprise that he did. But just because she should have gotten use to it by now after all these years, it didn’t mean that she had to like it.

When Natsu’s body went frigid, her question was confirmed as he began to shift in place and twirled the bundle of roses in his hand as some sort of distraction, keeping his olive eyes away from her brown ones. When Lucy sighed he glanced up at her, gazing at her through his surprisingly thick lashes as he gave her his best puppy dog look, his busted up lips curling into a pout knowing that it would sway her. It was after all her weak point.

“He deserved it Luce, he really did.” Lucy frowned at the tone of his voice. Typically after a fight with his opponent, all the malice that Natsu had felt towards them disappeared as he usually got his anger out with each fist thrown at them, so to hear him still sound so angry at the person was extremely rare. His puppy face morphed into a glare as he scowled at the ground.

“No one gets to do that to ya and gets away with it Luce, no one. So he had it coming. Plus,” Natsu added, looking up at her with a cheerful expression, “I’ve been wantin’ ta punch that bastard for months now! Now I finally had a reason!”

Lucy didn’t need to ask who it was he fought, she didn’t need to. Natsu always had a strong dislike for Dan, ever since she had introduced the brunette man as her boyfriend. Plus, he was the only one who had wronged her as of recently, so he was the only person that made sense. Lucy didn’t question it as Natsu laid the roses on her nightstand before crawling into the bed with her and Happy, setting the box of chocolates off to the side.

“Do… Do ya need a hug?” Lucy felt her face flush at the innocent question before nodding, wrapping her arms around his sculpted torso. She didn’t get hugs from Natsu often, even though she wished she did seeing as his hugs were the best. It was rare for him to even offer one, it was usually Lucy who stole hugs from him and they were always from the back when she needed him to comfort her. So why would she say no?

His arms circled her waist, bring her close to his chest as he held her tightly, feeling Happy squirm between them until he decided to rest on their laps. Lucy smiled, the first smile all day as she rested her head on his collar feeling his oddly high body heat surround her, warming her from head to toe. It was times like this, moments like this with Natsu that she wished would be frozen forever. But unfortunately that would never happen.

“Now,” Lucy said as she pulled away from him looking up at him with a smile. “I believed I was promised a Netflix binge day, which comes with cuddling, right?” Natsu barked out a laugh, startling the blue cat that was laying on their legs as he bent over to grab the laptop he had brought with him, letting Lucy type in his password as he settled back, Happy padding on his stomach until he curled up into a ball, his back pressing against Lucy’s abdomen. Lucy was lying on her side, head on Natsu’s chest as they pressed play.

It was then that Lucy realized that this was exactly what she wanted. She wanted to be curled up with Natsu, his arm secured tightly around her as they binged on The Office, cuddling and just being happy. She didn’t need Dan, and she didn’t need anyone else for that matter. All she needed was Natsu, and even if he wouldn’t be there for her as a boyfriend, having him there for her as a best friend was enough for her.

So that’s what she did. On the day of love, she laid with him, hearts beating in perfect harmony. Because she wouldn’t want to love anyone else.

Word Count: 1,544

A/N: This is the third chapter in my second fanfic series. Thanks to @wheresthekillswitch for being my lovely letter checker! I really like how this one is going, so I’m still feeling a good 8-10 chapters. Am I going to slow burn this one too? …Eh… :) Feedback is always loved and appreciated!

Read (Ch.1) (Ch.2)

My tags are way down below. Let me know if you want to be added to anything that I write :)

Sam sat in the backseat with Y/N curled up against his side. He’d given Dean vague directions to her house, but Sam was surprised to see that he didn’t really seem to need them. Dean turned down each road with precision, even cutting off a few minutes of time with a side-road that Sam hadn’t even known existed. He would have contemplated it longer if Y/N’s shivering body beside him wasn’t drawing all of his focus to her.

“I’d offer you my jacket, but it’s soaking wet,” Sam murmured against her head. He had an arm wrapped firmly around her shoulder, and his other hand gently traced circles on the back of hers.

“It’s ok,” she whispered back, giving his hand a small squeeze.

“Y/N, for the hundredth time, yes you have to come to the party. I’m sick of making up excuses for why you don’t come to events with us.” Your mom sounded so exasperated over the phone, you could practically see her rubbing her temples. Your parents wanted you to come with them to your mom’s best friend’s holiday party around an hour away from your apartment, and you weren’t exactly feeling like going on your first free Saturday in a long time. Plus, the holidays were still three weeks away. Who has a party this early?

“Jake’s not going either!” Throwing your younger brother under the bus wasn’t a classy move, but you grasping at straws here.

“He has a tournament a state away. He can’t help that.”

“But Mom, I don’t think I have time to drive out there. I’m so busy,” you countered.

“You realize we share a Netflix account and that I can see that you’re forty-five minutes into a Black Mirror episode, right?” Shit, caught, you thought. You tried to think of any other excuse that could keep you firmly rooted to your couch for the rest of the weekend, but came up short.

i had a dream where i was in my own house, so to avoid walking into my mother’s bedroom where she was sleeping, i went into the bathroom and… count olaf (as he appears in the netflix series) was just standing there. i tried to get his attention, and he’s like “ahh, vi– wait, you’re not violet,” and got mad at me, but i convinced him that he could have whatever money i had (not much) and then i just kind of dropped to the floor in front of him while he laughed

i’d like to note that about two weeks ago i had a dream where i tried to kill this very same count olaf by bashing a rock over his head. why did he come back? why did i act as if i wanted to submit to him? i hate count olaf

Creepypasta #1057: The Girl

Length: Long

She was one of those people that you could swear you’ve met before, but you don’t remember when. She tugged at my memory like a person you had a few high school classes with, but never had more than a few conversations. She had a round face, with soft cheekbones and bright brown eyes. Her lips were perpetually hinting at a smile that never seemed to fully blossom. She had a full, curvy figure, and the way she moved in her short summer dress had a subtle seductiveness that was far more attractive than her appearance alone.

The party we were at was slowly winding down. The host had disappeared with some girl, or had otherwise ditched entirely, and he took the energy of the party with him. As I was looking for the keys to my car, she approached me. “Hey, I have some rum back at my place. Want to come drink with me?” she said.

“Sure,” I replied. “Let me find my keys, I was about to leave anyway. Do you need a ride?”

“No,” she said, as she grabbed my phone and typed in her address. “Just meet me here, I’ll be home in 15 minutes.”

“Perfect,” I said, thinking that I had just enough time to run home and grab some deodorant and mouthwash before heading over.

I drove home and freshened up, then took my dog for a walk to kill a little more time. Didn’t want to beat her home, and I suspected she might want a minute to herself too. After about 15 minutes, I drove over to her house.

It was nothing spectacular, just your standard suburban home. The lawn needed to be mowed, and there was a little trash in the yard, but I chalked that up to college kid’s general apathy. I knocked on the door, and she let me in.

The inside of the house was comfortable, a big couch dominated the living room, and sat opposite a large TV. The kitchen was situated behind the couch and a hallway led from the living room to three bedrooms. As I sat down on the couch, she offered me a shot of rum and drank one herself. I drank my shot and poured each of us another.

“I thought we could Netflix and chill for a while, if that’s alright with you,” she said with a smirk.

“Sounds good to me. Do you like horror movies?” I said, figuring horror movies would be the easiest way to get her close to me.

Say My Name, Say My Name

Or: Bellamy tells Miller that he called out Clarke’s name during sex with someone else and Miller tells the rest of their friends. And Clarke.
Notes: prompt: “bellamy calling clarke’s name during sex with someone else then he is telling someone and she hears” This turned into Bellamy calls Clarke’s name during sex, his friends tease him relentlessly about it, and then Clarke accidentally finds out. So, mostly to the prompt, just a slightly different emphasis. Also, I’m posting au drabbles every day (aside from Wednesdays) until hiatus is over, so feel free to leave me a prompt.

He doesn’t mean to do it. It just slips out. She’s blonde, he’s looking at her from behind, and he’s fairly drunk. Which isn’t an excuse, just. He probably should have thought about his choices more. Like, he shouldn’t have taken home a blonde, or he should have drank less, or he should have focused more on who he was actually doing and not let his mind wander to who he wanted it to be.

Decisions, Decisions  (Part 7)

Prompt: Imagine Tom Hiddleston has a crush on you and he is feeling jealous of James McAvoy on “The Graham Norton Show” because James talks about how great the chemistry was between you, his co-star, and him in your latest film.

Warnings: language, sexual content, adult content, angst, fighting…?

After lots of sweater and thermal pants shopping, you found a few cute ensembles to wear to James’ family home. You also had two days to thoroughly worry about this trip. This was a huge step. Were you ready to make it? You were beyond thrilled to meet his family, to know this is the direction he wanted to go with you. Yet, you couldn’t help the gnawing feeling that you weren’t everything you needed to be for James. The feeling that he deserved better than you. That maybe you couldn’t give him what he wanted or needed.

But you pushed those feelings down, ignoring your conscience as you always did, and pressed on, ready to have a fun filled week with James and his family.

A long plane ride and a long taxi ride into the countryside, and you were finally at the McAvoy residence, a stately tudor home with crawling vines and a light mist that had settled over the estate. The driver rounded the fountain and stopped as you two jumped out and grabbed your bags.

“James, I’m so nervous, what if they don’t like me?” you admitted, whispering to him as you sat your last bag on the ground.

Summary: Alexa and Harry have known each other since they were little. They were kind of a thing before he got famous. A thing that was never meant to be. Or was it? A lot has happened and a lot will happen. Will it bring them back together or will it split them up for good?

*****************************************************************************

Alexa used a towel to wipe the sweat from her face as she sat in a corner. The audition was over. Now all she, and all the other dancers, had to do was wait. Although she had auditioned more then once she never lost her nerves. Which probably was a got thing as it kept her grounded and at the top of her game.

“Got a good feeling?” Noelle, a blond haired happy go lucky girl, asked as she sat next to her, stretching her right leg. Noelle was one of Alexa’s friends. One of the prettiest girls she had ever met but also one of the smartest. Noelle loved dancing but wanted more so she studied to be a doctor while dancing to pay the tuition bills. This wasn’t the first audition they had done together.

Alexa shrug. She thought she had done a good job. But that didn’t really mean anything.

Noelle gave Alexa’s hand a little squeeze “You probably got in” before returning to stretching her other leg “Hope I did to.”

“I don’t know Noelle.” Alexa sighed, hearing the call was all she wanted right now.

“Well weather we get it or not, we are still on for tonight though?” Alexa nodded.

“Yeah of course, gonna get cleaned up first though.” Alexa could feel the sweat dripping down her back.

Noelle smiled. “Yeah me too.”

They waited around for another 20 minutes before the first names that made it to the next round were announced. Alexa as well as Noelle made the cut which they were happy about.

Alexa gathered her stuff before saying goodbye to the others.

Alexa Said goodbye to the other dancers before leaving. She took a breath of fresh air as she walked out of the building, and put her hair in a messy bun. She had a good feeling about the call back. There were about 35 other dancers and they would select only 16 to dance in the music video. As she jumped the last two steps her phone rang. It was Jessy.

“Jessy” Most of the time Jessy’s mid day calls were about him asking Alexa to do something for him. Jessy was a photographer who had made quit the name for himself the past couple of years and as he didn’t really have a PA Alexa was the next best thing.

“How did your audition go?” One of the things Alexa loved about Jessy he would ask her for numerous chores but he would never forget to ask her how her day was going, how her mom was doing or how her latest audition went.

“I think it went ok, I have a call back and Monday I will have to dance my ass off to proof I got it. But.” Alexa paused as she played with a strand of hair that had escaped her bun “I got a good feeling about it. A sigh escaped her mouth as she leaned against the wall, letting her back rest on the sidewalk.

"You will love, you will.”

“Thanks J. But… what is that I can do for you?”

“So sweet of you to ask.” Alexa could almost see him bet his eyes. “I’m at the studio and run out of memory could you..” Alexa could hear him say something to a male, Alexa assumed it was his client. “Could you please grab me another… You know where they are.”

Alexa rolled her eyes, no mater how much memory cards she got him he would some how make them disappear. She grunted at him.

“Jessy some people have a life.”

“I know love. But you are not some people.” His sassy comment made Alexa roll her eyes.

“Ok. Be there in a bit. Alexia put her phone away and with a sigh she throw her bag on her back. Of to Jessy’s it was.

Jessy’s apartment was a cross the hall from hers. He had given her the key the first week she moved in as they had decided then and there they would be friends. She had used it more then she ever thought she would. And the place felt like her own. Though she would never ever put a bright purple sofa in the middle of the room or have a chair that looked like a giant carrot. Even though it was not decorated like she had hers decorated it suites Jessy’s extravagant personage. It was the perfect hangout spot for ordering pizza after clubbing or binge watching Netflix. As Alexa walked in she knew where to find what she needed. But Alexa dropped her bag by the door to go trough his refrigerator first as she was starving. He always kept healthy stuff in there and today was nog exception. Alexa grabbed a fork from one of his kitchen cabinets and leaned against the marble counter top as she started eating away at his home made potato salad.

After finishing the salad and some cuddles with Mr. Jones, Jessy’s feline companion, Alexa dropped of her bag at her own house. Getting in for a quick shower and change of clothes she ran out the door towards Jessy’s studio.

Harry awoke after a little snooze. His neck felt a bit stiff as he had been sitting in the same position for quit some time. The flight attended announced that they were arriving in LA in a little over 20 minutes. Harry stretched in his chair, reaching his arms up as he looked out the window.  He could almost feel the sun on his skin.

Harry walked towards customs as he was scrolling trough his messages. One of them came from Liam. He was in LA for a couple of days and asked Harry if they could meet up, have lunch or do something else. Harry’s lip curled up as he read the message. After a bit of texting back and forth Harry found out that Liam was doing a photo shoot for one of his solo projects. Harry decided to join him and they would grab dinner after that. Harry traveled light, with only a carry on, as everything he needed was in house. So once there was a stamp in his passport he walked towards his driver telling him the address Liam had given him.

“Jessy.” Alexa called his name as she walked in to his studio.

“Over here.” His voice came from the back.

Jessy’s studio was only a couple of blocks from the apartment building. It was an old warehouse that he turned into a studio. It was as unique as his apartment though much less colorful. Alexa came here often. She loved to watch Jessy work but she also loved the fact that he had a lot of room. She would often stay till the break of dawn rehearsing her dance moves. He even installed a huge mirror and a small barre for her to practice her ballet moves. As Alexa felt confident in her moves ballet was always something she wanted to learn so she started classes a year and a half ago and he supported her all the way.

As Alexa walked towards the back she felt a knot growing in her stomach. She knew Jessy’s voice but the other voice made her uncomfortable. She had heard that voice before. And as Alexa saw Jessy working on his equipment she also saw the men he was talking to. She hold on to her breath just a little longer before  she approached them.

“That took you long enough. How was my food?” Jessy asked without looking up. He knew that she raided his fridge more then once a week.

“Loved it” Alexa waved two memory cards in front of his face “needed some sort of payment for getting you these.”

Jessy pulled her into a hug placing a kiss on her temple “Your an angel.”

“Jessy has told me all about you” Liam started as he turned towards Alexa. Their eyes meeting for the first time “So you are a dancer?”

“No she is not she, like I said"  Jessy made a dramatic move with his left arm before finishing his sentence "is a diva extraordinaire.”

Alexa uses one of her elbows to poke him in his ribs “ I believe that is your title Mister"  before turning towards Liam, reaching out her hand.

” I’m just Lex. And sometimes “ emphasizing the last word” I dance.“ A loud laughter escaped Jessy’s mouth.

"Believe u me, she was born dancing.” Alexa sits herself opposite of Liam on top of one of the couches he had bought a couple of weeks ago, as she rolls her eyes, watching Jessy switching his cards.

“He is overreaction, as usual.” Alexa knew how Jessy felt about her dance moves. He thought she was the next best thing. Alexa however saw a lot of room for improvement. Alexa wondered if Liam remembered her. It didn’t look that way. “Ready when you are.” Jessy told Liam. Alexa decided to hang around for a bit and watch Jessy work his magic.

Alexa felt the knot that had formed in her abdomen untie as she found out, during a little break, that Liam was a nice guy and he was the only one Jessy was shooting for and not the whole band. This moment of feeling at ease was abruptly disturbed by the sound of boots walking over towards them and an all to familiar voice.

“Paynoooo.” Liam turned around towards the voice.

“Hazza!” He said as they hugged. Alexa observed the hugging and conversation happening in front of her.  She had the right spot observing him. He had gotten bigger. The muscles on his biceps looked huge. He had gotten more tattoo’s, she knew that though she hadn’t seem them live in ages. She didn’t really know how to react. Should she say something or just sneak away?

“Lex, is Noelle going tonight?” Jessy’s voice brought Alexa back to the present and she silently tanked Jessy for the interruption, as she stood up and walked towards were Jessy was standing.

“Lex?” Alexa tried to ignore his voice as Jessy gave her a questioning look.

“Alexa?” There was no denying or ignoring she had to face him. So stopped mid track and turned  on her heels, her gaze at the ground for just a second longer before looking up.

Harry knew it was her before she looked up at him. It had been so long but he remembered as if it was yesterday. She had grown into a women, that was for sure. It was almost 5 years since he last saw her. But he remembered as if it was yesterday her caramel skin, her dark hair, raven black in some light though in others it would look more like mahogany, and her lips… O those lips. It made him bite his own before shouting her name.

“Lex!” He almost screamed “It is you!” It took him three big steps, more like two and a half, to be right in front of her. And although Alexa new that there was a change they would meet again someday she never expected it to be like this. So when Harry pulled her into a hug she stiffened. She was not prepared for what she felt. Sadness. Anger. Shock. And a knot as big as a basketball. She couldn’t find the strength to hug him back.

“You good?” Harry placed his hands on her shoulders as he searched Alexa’s face. Alexa nodded as she took a step back, tucking a piece of hair back “Yeah… Yeah… I’m fine, just not expecting you here… Was just uh … leaving.” Jessy observed Alexa from were he was standing as she took another step back. He had never seen her behave like this before. He scrapped his troat before asking her again.

“Is Noelle coming?” Alexa looked over at him, ignoring Harry’s piercing eyes.

“I don’t know… probably… but I’ll see her in a bit. I’ll let you know ok?” Jessy nodded as Alexa grabbed her bag. Harry stopped her.

“Why… Why are you leaving I-I just got here. We could catch up and-” Harry got interrupted by the icy tone in Alexa’s voice.

“I believe you came for Mr. Payne.” Alexa looked between Liam and Harry before she saw the shocked look on Jessy’s face. She would explain it to him some other time she thought before she pulled her focus back towards Harry

“Some people got jobs to attend to.” And with that Alexa turns on her heels and walks away. Hearing Jessy scream “see you tonight bitches” was the last thing she heard.
