i just remembered one of the first vividly gay moments i had back in highschool when i was in denial. i was friends with two girls who were dating and one of them made the other cry for some reason all the time like all the time. and i was always trying to comfort the one who was crying. and one day i had the thought “i wouldn’t treat you like this.”

and my het™ oriented mind immediately rejected that thought like “too bad she’s a GIRL so you wouldn’t be dating her IN THE FIRST PLACE b/c YOU’RE TOTALLY STRAIGHT.”

Of course, you hadn’t realized how much time had flown because the entire time Ben had you either crying from laughter or crying from a movie–either way, you were crying. But what topped the cake was the fact that you nearly had fallen asleep on his shoulder as the soft sounds of rainfall mixed with the old black and white film he had been showing you caused you to drift off–it was hard to stay awake, especially with the lack of sleep you had this week.

Well I found her charming and in fact I remember she asked me, stopped me in the street one day and she said ‘Why do you think why all this harassment?’ And I said 'Well, I think because you’re going to be the Prince’s bride.’ And she said 'Why?’ She said 'Just because I don’t have a past?’ And I said 'It could be one of the reasons.’ I said 'You’re actually a very pretty girl.’ And she actually said, and I said to her at the time, 'Well don’t forget us with a knighthood when you get the job and all that’ just as fun and she laughed and I mean, and I remember saying to her 'Now look, when you walk round the corner now don’t put your head down’ because she has this, she had this awful habit of putting her head down and she still does it today. I said 'Look up and smile.’ And she did and it was a lovely picture.

"please put the weapon down, its not what it looks like" She spoke calmly as she stood up from the dead body she checked a pulse for.

Marin kept her gun trained on the woman, wary. “Well, if it’s not what it looks like, please tell me what’s actually happening,” she said. The evidence was pretty damning to whoever this girl was. The hunter had been tracking a demon, one who’d been wreaking havoc for about a week now. Marin was ready to exorcise the demon and be done with it. And if this girl was her demon, she wasn’t going to listen to her excuses.
