“That Would Be Enough” - Deedee Magno Hall

It’s not that it would have never occurred to me that “That Would Be Enough” is like the saddest Pearl-and-Rose song of all time, but DEEDEE YOU DIDN’T HAVE TO COME AFTER ME LIKE THIS.

GUYS GUYS

Does anyone remember the PBS show Liberty’s Kids?

Right, so, it’s the show aimed at kids to teach them about the American Revolution.  And some very important people get talked about, right?

Like our very own ALEXANDER HAMILTON.

BUT….

  Guess who voiced him?

I CAN’T.

Hamilton: Aaron Burr [INTJ]

OFFICIAL TYPING by Charity / the Mod

Introverted Intuition (Ni): Burr spends his entire life working toward finding the “right moment” to make his dreams into a reality; he internalizes his goals and visions, marveling that Hamilton can accomplish so much in such a short amount of time, since Burr spends so much careful time and devotion crafting and perfecting his ideals, before sharing them with others. Hamilton finds him lazy and ineffectual as a result, since he doesn’t have much to show for his time.

Extroverted Thinking (Te): He’s practical, pointing out flaws in Hamilton’s ideas, striving to bring his dream into reality, in tangible ways. Burr wants to impact the world, to make a difference, to leave his mark, to find power and do something good with it, to run a good campaign… so much so, that his approach to politics is detached, level-headed, careful, and strategic, leaving Hamilton assuming he has nothing he stands for!

Introverted Feeling (Fi): It isn’t true, Burr does have strong ideals, a sense of self, lines he will not cross, and is offended that Hamilton treated their friendship so poorly as to support Jefferson over him in the presidential campaign. Being accused of having no moral fiber hits him hard enough to engage in a fatal duel, to defend his honor – he can find no other way to defend such wrong allegations, and defends his actions with the facts (he wore his glasses, he intended not to miss! – Te).

Extroverted Sensing (Se): Burr cannot act in the moment – and when he does so, Hamilton winds up dead. He envies his friend’s ability to react quickly, to leap into action, while simultaneously finding it reckless. He gambles, literally, with his life and career in fighting an ill-advised duel.
