shampoo conditioner

anonymous asked:

What hair products do you use?

If we are talking normal products, this tea tree shampoo/conditioner is the bomb!  To style it, a light styling cream and a little hairspray is all I use. Since my hair is longer now and very straight, it doesn’t need much.

But people always ask me how my hair looks so healthy and shiny and I have one word for them. OILS!  I use a variety of essential oils on my hair everyday. Each one with its own purpose, such as cedarwood for healthy hair growth, lemon and rosemary to prevent dry/flaky scalp, frankincense to prevent hair loss, and so on (small brown bottle is thyme). I mix them with a little fractionated coconut oil and apply every night/ morning before I go to bed, then wash out when I wake up. I’ve only been doing this for a few months and my hair has never looked better!

anonymous asked:

i wanna be vegan when i move out from my parents place into my apartment, are there any vegan options? like cleaning supplies, and good foods to always have on hand.

vegan options? you’ll have SOOO many once you move out of your folk’s place. Even before you do that though, try to make as many positive steps towards veganism that you can in your current situation. I understand if you can’t go fully vegan right now because you live with your parents, but do your best. Next time you buy skin care/shampoo/conditioner/makeup etc, make sure you buy a vegan brand! I’m not saying throw away what you have now bc that’s still wasteful, but just make sure to buy a vegan brand when it comes time to buy some new products. Also make sure you aren’t buying any clothing made with animal products, such as leather, wool, down feathers, silk, etc.

For makeup, I love Tarte, Urban Decay, and NYX. NYX and ELF are fantastic and cheap vegan makeup brands that you can find everywhere. I get all of my skincare and haircare items from Lush. I LOVE LOVE LOVE their rose scented products like Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner or their Rose Argan solid shampoo bar. I smell of roses all the time and it’s so beautifully romantic and sexy ;)

I use Meyer’s brand for household cleaning products (dish soap, air freshener, etc). I like the lavender scented stuff. I use Dr. Bronner’s (rose) for a general soap and also I love their peppermint toothpaste and mouthwash.

Food to always have on hand? I always keep some jars full of brown rice, black beans, chickpeas, nutritional yeast, and steel cut oats. Boring but staple items to keep in your pantry! I also have little jars filled with spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg, paprika, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, and pepper. I fill up my jars at my local bulk grocery store to help reduce my trash. I always keep nori sheets in my cupboard for vegan sushi. I keep salt-free ketchup, soy sauce, oil free roasted red pepper hummus, and sriracha in my fridge at all times. Dijon mustard is also great to have on hand for a quick salad dressing (dijon, ACV, w/ a splash of water and you’re good to go). And I always have a bar of vegan dark chocolate in the fridge for bad days. Most of the food I buy is fresh fruits and veggies such as potatoes, sweet potatoes, broccoli, limes, lemons, baby carrots, lettuce, spinach, kale, onions, bell peppers, apples, avocados, blood oranges, bananas, and mushrooms. These are weekly staples for me. I also grow my own herbs (cilantro and basil mostly) and I am working on growing some more plants since spring is rolling around here in the pacific northwest!

Hope all of this helps. Sorry it was just a dump of information haha, good luck with your vegan journey and please message me if you have any additional questions at any time. I am SO happy to help!

CHANSAW AU

[where Veronica is hella gay and so is heather chandler] “Sawyer, can you hook this necklace on?” “I mean I guess.” Veronica said, trying to sound as nonchalant as she could even though she leapt in joy to be that close to heather chandler. To be that close to heather to feel her warmth. To be that close to heather to smell her fancy smelling shampoo and conditioner. To be that close to Heather to hear her breathing even clearer then she could sitting on heathers velvet bed. Before she could will her self not to shake to much as she got up, Heather shot her a cold look as she twirled her blonde hair. God when she did that, Veronica melted. “Mind doing it then, Sawyer?” She said looking back into her mirror, stilling holding her necklace around her neck. Nodding weakly, Veronica finally started to walk to Heather. Although Chandler was five feet from the bed, it her feet weighed more and more every time she raised then. But finally, she reached Chandler. It was about three inches from Veronica and Chandler. Veronica gulped again as she saw that the chain was at least an one third of an inch from Chandler’s milky clear neck. Veronica’s hands shook as she reached to the hoop. Chandler gave the chain to Veronica, their hands brushing together for a millisecond but it felt like an infinity. She devoired the short embrace and tried to work on the necklace. Veronica half stepped to get closer as her first five times failed. Veronica didn’t know if the rhyme she kept hearing and feeling was her or Chandler’s but she loved it! She kept trying to but she it hard to with the shakiness, literally everywhere. Like the quiver of a car before it dies. With the shakiness, her fingers occasionally braced the hot neck of Heather Chandler. Even though she didn’t notice it before, her eyes looked up and saw her and Heather’s reflection. Terrified, Veronica saw that she was blushing, and the worst part was Heather was smirking. God before heather noticed Veronica looking, Veronica eyes darted back to her fingers as the wrestled. “Here,” Heather said as she glanced alround, her eyes gleaming and smile wide. “This’ll help.” Before Veronica knew it, Heather turned around slightly, Veronica’s hands still grasping on the chain, Heather leaned in quickly and their lips brushed delicately. Though it was terribly quick, it was satisfying enough that when heather turned around again, Veronica fiddled once with the once hard puzzle and it hooked on. Chandler turned around and patted the awestruck Veronica’s left cheek. “Thanks, dear, Ronnie.”

Witch Tips for City Witches

City Witch Tips for all of my fellow witches stuck in apartments, dorms or other city areas.

  • If you can’t burn incense you can make your own sprayable incense by mixing alcohol (usually vodka or rubbing) with essential oils and a bit of oil, spray in the air to act like incense
  • If you are unable to go outside for whatever reason to get rain water (in my case just no where to collect it safely), fill a jar or glass with regular water and keep it near a cracked window to charge it with the wind, sound and scent of the rain outside. Same goes for storm water
  • Trapped in city and unable to get ocean water? Sea salt mixed with rain/storm water can be an excellent substitute
  • To continue on with water substitutes, if you can’t collect snow crushed ice from your fridge will suffice
  • Low key warding/protection you can use: spray moon water, salt water or sprayable incense about your apartment or dorm, place sigils under doormats, furniture, inside cupboards, etc; place crystals about hidden or out in the open, sweep and dust out the door or towards windows
  • If you need melted wax to seal a jar or for any other magical purpose, but can’t burn candles, by a wax melter and melt that wax and imagine the light from the burner acting like a flame (plus they are rather cheap, I got mine for 25 bucks)
  • Need stars in your craft but too much light pollution? Glow in the dark stars on your ceiling or wall can work just as well for visualization. Print out pictures of your favorite constellations or planets and place them up on your walls or on your altar. Live video feed of the night sky can also be easily found on the internet
  • Bath magic is amazing for low-key ‘in the woods’ witches. Use teas, milk, oils, herbs, bath bombs, bubble baths, salts, etc that relate to your intent. It is also a good place to meditate if you have roommates or family around that would disturb you otherwise
  • If you do for whatever reason need to burn a candle, birthday candles are small, melt fast, and don’t create a lot of smoke or smokey scent
  • Sigils are another great low-key form of magic. To boost them up, use color magic related to the color you draw them in, write them using quills made of feathers related to your intent, use colored paper, rub a drop of essential oil on them, charge them with crystals or in your windowsill
  • You don’t have to burn sigils to activate them, which is hardly an option when you are in a dorm or apartment. Other options are: Shredding them, erasing them, soaking them in a bath or shower, using body heat or your own pulse, etc
  • Miss having the outdoors and plants around? Windowsill gardens can really help. Small plants you can consider keeping in your windowsill or counter-tops: succulents, cacti, bamboo, lemongrass, basic, rosemary, mint, rosemary, mosses, aloe, snake plant, pothos (and other vines), carrots, beets, shallots, lettuce, spinach, garlic, chives, parsley, oregano, thyme, and marigold
  • Open your window to let the wind and air from outside to help energize you and clear out negative energies inside
  • Fun places to put sigils: under furniture, carved into soap, onto shampoo/conditioner bottles, on your make up, inside phone cases, in shoes, under bandages, sewn into pillow cases and blankets, behind pictures in frames, underside of nail polish, carved into wax squares for your wax melter, keys and keychains, behind mirrors or in medicine cabinets, on bookmarks, on or in binders and pencil cases, on medicine bottles, and water bottles/travel mugs
  • Easy to make and dispose of poppets: carrot sticks (one of my personal favorites), apples or other fruit, clothe, paper, popsicle sticks, paper towels/napkins, toilet paper rolls, eggs, celery stocks, and cotton balls
  • The internet is an amazing thing. Need some sounds to help you focus or meditate? Easily look up the sounds of rain, storms, wind, ocean waves, jungles, forests, etc
  • Christmas lights are fun and great way to use discrete witchcraft. Select ones in the colors you wish for them to bring ie green for growth, yellow for inspiration, white for protection, purple for psychic abilities, etc.
  • Some everyday things you can use for discrete witchcraft that don’t cost much at all or that you most likely already have: water, table salt, black pepper, paper, crayons/pencils/pens/markers, vinegar, milk, tea, highlighters, make up and beauty supplies, shampoo and conditioner, rubber bands, paperclips, thumbtacks, computer/phone/tablet, music/music player, playing cards, dice, air freshener, perfumes, toothpaste, rice, flour, sugar, honey, and all kitchen herbs and seasonings.
  • Can’t afford gemstones or crystals on college budget? Crackle and dyed quartz you can find super cheap at craftstores and online. I bought a whole bag for 4 bucks. Use them based on their colors and shapes. Can’t afford that but still want to use rocks in your craft? Find some rocks you like outside, again use their colors and shapes to determine their correspondences. Want to use them for a specific purpose? Paint sigils on them in the color that corresponds with what you want! Charge them in your windowsill or with your own energy and intent. There you go!
  • Pocket mirrors are cheap, easy to carry around and great for glamours and on the go magic.
  • Seriously though, glamour spells are going to be a good option for you. use your make up, skin products, hair care products, brushes/combs, perfume, mirrors, toothbrush/toothepaste and intent. Good to do while you are getting ready for your day
  • Dream magic is another friend of the city witch! Use crystals, sigils, herbs, etc near your bed before you go to sleep, drink some chamomile, get yourself a dream journal (mine is literally a notebook with construction paper on it), keep it and a pen near you. In the morning write down your dreams, your thoughts, how you feel (tired, refreshed, groggy, etc), and interpret them.
  • Can’t afford tarot cards? Print out some, you can usually find them online and they won’t last as long as a real deck but it is a good temporary solution. Want a Ouija board but can’t keep one or need it to be easily hidden? Print one out, draw on one on paper or cardboard, fold it up and store it once you are done. Want a pendulum but can’t afford one? Use your favorite necklace, bracelet or keychain!
  • Tea and coffee magic is great, make your own tea blends with the herbs you like. Or just buy simple green or black tea and add sugar, milk, etc depending on your intentions
  • As I said before, crock pot magic. The Modern Cauldron: brew and cook all day with it, fill your apartment with the scent of the herbs and food to fill it with the energies they correspond with and you get a delicious meal to come home to! Most dorms allow them. Rice cookers also work well.
  • Can’t afford fresh food? Have to survive on ramen, canned soup, and microwaved meals? That is okay! They even correspond with things! Tomato soup for love, beauty and passion. Beef ramen noodles for strength, courage and longevity. Microwave mac n cheese for beauty and feminity. Look at their ingredients and what they correspond with. Sure its not as glamorous as a making a huge made by scratch traditional meal but its kitchen magic none the less. Stir it with your intent while you cook. It isn’t fancy but it works just as well!
  • Use a notebook or binder for a nice grimoire, decorate it as much as you want on the inside. Print out pictures of nature, animals, planets, stars, places, crystals, etc that you cant’ access/afford and use them in your craft. Spell books and grimoires are powerful tools
  • Don’t have a wand? Use a wooden spoon. Tie a colored string or ribbon to it to correspond with what energy you want it to have and move and flick it as you would a wand.
  • Knitting, crocheting, and knot magic is very apartment friendly. As well as sewing and embroidering plus it is super calming.
  • Glitter, sequins, and beads are great in witchcraft! Use their colors to determine their correspondences. Put them in spell jars, sachets, bottles, etc. Glitter tip: if you spill any don’t fret, get some packing tape, wrap it around your hand with the sticky part outwards and dab at that glitter spill. You will literally pick up all of the glitter in seconds!
  • Enchant and charge your pots, pans, skillets, and other cookware to make every meal magical
  • Make moonwater in your windowsills. Use it for cleansing, beauty, divination, clarity, protection and purification
  • Take walks. Even if it is a city there is still nature about. Pigeons flying about, potted flowers outside of stores, grass growing in front lawns, etc. Enjoy yourself, even if it is not some wild, vast forest you can still connect with your local nature.
  • Pick up litter or garbage you see outside, being in the city we all see it. The natural world around you will appreciate you helping out. Bring a bag with you when you take your walks or travel and fill it with wrappers you see on the ground.

I hope this was helpful to all of my fellow city and dorm witches!

I just got out of an abusive relationship & I’m in need of help. I left an abusive boyfriend I was living with, with noting except my ID, government documents, debit card, phone, laptop, car, a pillow, and a bag of my clothes. I have nothing else.

After being in my car for a few nights while waiting to hear back from a few studio apartments, I moved into a new place by myself and away from my abuser and I ended up putting my entire paycheck into a deposit, first month’s rent, gas for my car so I can get to work, cancelling the cable contract that was in my name at my ex’s place (which was a $350 cancellation fee, jfc.), my phone bill, buying out of my old lease, credit card bill.

My credit card is maxed out and I’m steadily paying it off, so I can’t use it. I’m a very independent person but I need help in getting myself on my feet until I get payed again. I have a very stable and decent paying job, but right now I’m going through a hard time.

My google wallet is deysialexis31@gmail.com. I need essentials like soap, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, laundry soap, a few groceries, an air mattress or bed of some kind, blankets, toilet paper, dishes, to hold me over until I get paid again. Any amount helps me so much. Again, I never make posts like this and I pride myself a lot in being an independent and self sustained person. Asking for help like this is a big blow to my pride but I’m trying to get back on my feet after leaving an abuse ridden relationship.

John’s started reading classic fairy tales to Rosie at bedtime. Here are Sherlock’s reviews (on a scale of 1 to 5 stars):

Little Red Riding Hood:  ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

“I admire the girl’s independence, but this idiot child doesn’t recognize the difference between her beloved grandmother and a dangerous WOLF? The SAME WOLF she met in the forest less than an hour ago? And you think MY disguises are silly…”

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs:   ☆ ☆ ☆

“I like the part about the Evil Queen demanding Snow White’s heart – nice and macabre. So Snow White runs away to the forest and becomes a housekeeper for a gang of diminutive gay miners?  They should’ve just ended the story there – I don’t care for all that pointless, predictable nonsense about the poison apple and the prince.”

Goldilocks and the Three Bears:  ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

“If those bears were any worse at deduction, they’d work for New Scotland Yard.”

“Thought you might relate to Goldilocks, love – you’re both picky, impatient, show zero respect for others’ personal property…”

“Oh please, John. Goldilocks is a moron – now, if Rosie wants to learn how to perform a proper home invasion…”

No.”

The Three Little Pigs:  ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

“It’s a scam, obviously. At least two of these pig brothers are guilty of insurance fraud, and the third may be in on it as well. A wolf BLEW your house down? While straw and sticks may not be the sturdiest of building materials, the lung capacity of the average fully grown Canis lupus is not great enough to produce the force necessary to demolish even an exceedingly shoddy dwelling.”

The Little Mermaid:  ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

“Why no pirates? Would be better with pirates.”

Rapunzel:  ☆ ☆ ☆

“I’d like to know Rapunzel’s diet, genetic makeup (or at least ethnicity), cranial circumference, surface area of her scalp, the height of the tower, the surrounding climate and humidity level, what sort of shampoo/conditioner she used, whether or not she used hairspray or styling product …numerous variables affect the tensile strength and growth rate of human hair, you know…“

Sleeping Beauty:  ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

“Sleep is tedious.”

Cinderella:  ☆ ☆

“I love a ball. The ball is good – beautiful gown, the prince in his dress uniform, love at first sight, dancing the night away, AND a mystery! Yet it’s all ruined because I can’t stand the utter STUPIDITY of trying the glass slipper on every eligible maiden in the land…it doesn’t take a deductive genius to recognize that’s a waste of time!”

Rumplestiltskin:

“This one actually has some valuable lessons. For one thing, someone is always listening – royal minions in a fairy tale, Mycroft’s cameras and covert agents, the homeless network…we’re under surveillance of some sort at all times. Be vigilant, be aware, observe. Also, if you happen to have a ridiculous name, OWN IT – there’s no point trying to keep it a secret, because it’ll come out eventually, JOHN HAMISH WATSON.”

An Escort’s Favorite Products and Their Hoe Uses

For those that have asked about my self-care regimen, here are my favorite products and their uses! I’ll definitely update this as I get more escorting experience and my product selection grows.

Body

I have sensitive, weird skin. I’m allergic to almost all BBW products. Here are the things I love!

  • Aloe Vera Baby Oil - Shaving the cooch
  • Tend Skin - Prevents razor burn after shaving the cooch
  • Neutrogena Body Clear Scrub - Exfoliates and gets rid of random bumps
  • Aveeno Therapeutic Shave Gel - For a soft, super close shave on your legs
  • Lollia Perfumed Shower Gel - All of their scents smell amazing and they leave behind a muted scent. Plus, it’s very thick so a little bit goes a long way. Seriously, a quarter sized dollop is enough to get foamy suds over your entire body!
  • Lollia Hand Creme - Will give you the smoothest, softest hands ever. Especially important for touching wieners.
  • Intimore Intimate Wash - My favorite wash for cleaning the vag. ALL of their varieties are safe for sensitive skin and they have great uses. The Therapeutic wash is great if you’ve been fucked raw. Very soothing!
  • Lush Sugar Scrub - Great for exfoliating, it leaves your skin very bright and radiant and it is supposed to reduce the appearance of cellulite!
  • Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Extreme Pads - I use these to get rid of weird bumps or razor burn on my legs after shaving. Will literally clear up those weird clear bumps that aren’t quite whiteheads or pimples.
  • Kiehl’s Soy Milk & Honey Whipped Body Butter - Will leave your entire body smoother than a baby’s butt and the scent is very light. Super hydrating. I use this every night after a hot bath. I also use this to moisturize my cooch. YES, YOU CAN AND SHOULD MOISTURIZE YOUR COOCH. It’s okay! Try it!
  • Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs - It’s like foundation for your legs! It comes in either a squeeze bottle or mist. I use the squeeze bottle more because the mist WILL STAIN your bathroom tile or toilet, if you prop your leg on it to spray.
  • St. Tropez Express Bronzing Mousse with Mitt - I used this for the first time last night because my spray tan was wearing off. It gives a really natural tan and you only have to leave it on 1-3 hours, depending on how dark you want to go, before rinsing! I left mine on for a little less than two hours and I have a nice, NATURAL looking tan glow!

Hair

I’m a light ashy blonde with frizzy, unmanageable hair. Here are my top picks for products.

  • Batiste Dry Shampoo - Absolute BEST dry shampoo and it’s super affordable. Very fine powder. It comes in a bunch of varities, I like the sleek and shine the most.
  • AG Hair Cosmetics Sterling Silver Shampoo - Great purple shampoo for blondes.
  • Davines Alchemic Conditioner - They have different formulas for different hair colors. I use the purple conditioner for blondes and it’s a great purple mask that tones and deep conditions.
  • Kerastase Shampoo & Conditioner - Comes in a ton of varities. I use the ones for damaged hair and frizzy hair. BEST shampoo and conditioners I have ever used. It doesn’t take much product and every product does what it says it will.
  • Kerastase Fluidissime Blow Dry Spray - For frizzy or curly hair. It gives heat protection, shine and smoothness. I use this when I want my hair to be super straight or I want to style it after blow drying.
  • Kerastase L’ncroyable Blow Dry - Most amazing blow dry lotion ever. Seriously. Now my most used product.
  • Kerastase Ciment Thermique - Protecting blow dry lotion for damaged/colored hair.
  • Davines Melu Serum - For disguising split ends. Also adds shine.
  • Davines Minu Mask - Illuminating hair mask used to add back shine and dimension
  • Carol’s Daughter Monoi Mask - Great for softness and hydration. Smells amazing. Probably my favorite mask.
  • Kerastase Masqueintense - Second favorite hair mask. It’s ultra smoothing and revitalizes your hair.
  • Kerastase Elixir Ultime - Great hair oil! Lighter than Morrocanoil with the same benefits, though the smell isn’t as nice.
  • Shu Uemura Straight Forward - Great blowdry spray oil. It really does cut down the amount of time it takes to blow out your hair. I use this with the Kerastase Incredible Blowdy.

Skin Care

I have sensitive, combination skin. I used to get random hormonal acne.

  • Glamglow ThirstyMud - Great for hydration and smells amazing. You can use it as rinse off or a sleeping mask.
  • Glamglow Flashmud - Brightening, revitalizing mask. I use this on my butt to help get rid of a few blemish scars. No, I am not joking. Yes, it is actually working.
  • Glamglow Thirstycleanse - Amazing mud cleanser for whenever my skin is feeling a little dry or needs some nourishment.
  • Glamglow Supercleanse - My favorite cleanser ever. It’s a mud-oil dual pump and it takes off every BIT of make up and keeps your skin super clear! Plus, it’s not drying!
  • Peter Thomas Roth BHA 2% Acne Wash - For if I feel a breakout coming on. One bottle will likely last you over a year.
  • Peter Thomas Roth Blemish Buffing Beads - Great for body acne.
  • Glamglow Fizzy Lip - Great exfoliating lip scrub, plus you get twice as much product as most other lip scrubs.
  • Glamglow Wet Lip - Intense softening lip treatment. You should definitely be using both of these to get seductive, soft, kissable lips!
  • Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Oil - I use this at night before bed. It’s anti-aging, moisturizing, clarifying, fights wrinkles and reduces pore size.
  • Sunday Riley Good Genes Serum - I use this in the morning and it makes my skin look superb. Best skin product I’ve ever had. It brightens, exfoliates, gives radiance and evens out hyperpigmentation.
  • Clarins HydraQuench Intensive Serum Bi-Phase - I use this serum as my moisturizer and it keeps my skin super nourished! It doesn’t clog up your pores and hydrates your dry areas. Definitely the best moisturizer I’ve ever used.

  • Cleaning supplies
  • Candles
  • Incense
  • Wax melts & wax warmers
  • Essential oils
  • Food items
    • herbs
    • spices

    • coffee
  • Bath items
    • Soap

      • i.e. mopping, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc.
  • Candles, Incense, and Wax Melts
    • Light a different colored/scented candle in various rooms to invite a particular energy into that space (i.e. a purple lavender scented candle in the living room for relaxation, a green basil scented candle in the kitchen for prosperity, etc.)
      • Place a crystal of corresponding intent in the candle for an added boost
    • The same applies for incense and wax melts - use different scents that correspond to your intent at the moment
  • Essential oils
    • Mix 1 or 2 cups of tap water and 50 drops of the essential oil of your choice and boil on the stove to fill your home with the scent

    • Combine distilled water and white vinegar (equal parts; 1:1) with 30 drops of essential oil to make a scented cleaning agent

    • If you shower in the evening, visualize yourself dispelling the negative and stressful energy of the day while cleaning yourself
    • Make bath salts using epsom salt, essential oils, and dried herbs - store these in a sealed container for later use
    • Use facial scrubs for glamours that involve changing the perception of yourself to those around you
  • Cosmetics
    • Enchant your favorite perfume with intent
      • Place a crystal on top of the cap or near the bottle to keep it charged
    • Make your own roll-on perfume using a carrier oil, 30-40 drops of an essential oil that matches your intent, and gem chips to keep it charged
    • Enchant hair products for healthy hair
    • Anoint the outside of your makeup containers or compact mirrors with moon water for on the go glamour magick
  • Other
    • Add a few drops of moon water or lavender essential oil to the washer for relaxation and peace
      • If you happen to be washing bedsheets, use this method for peaceful sleep
    • Wear crystal jewelry for its innate properties (i.e. rose quartz for love, amethyst for peace, hematite for grounding, etc.)

I will be adding to this as I think of more, feel free to drop suggestions in my ask box here!
