So I finally cracked and did some writing for Spider-man. Namely a Peter Parker and reader imagine. I didn’t like the idea of plugging in a bunch of [Y/N] everywhere, so I kept it very open.
Be aware that this a bit on the mature side. It’s also very angsty, with some good fluff intermixed throughout. It jumps back and forth in time to tell a story. Peter is in his early twenties here.
Based off of Tom Holland’s Spider-man, because obviously he’s the best.
Triggers to be aware of: Mentions of possible rape and death. Angst. Very brief mentions of nudity.
Summary:You’d silently crushed on Peter all throughout your childhood, and even into adulthood, paying attention to him from afar but never having the courage to do anything about it. Until your job allows the avenue to connect with Peter, which turns into a full blown friendship. One evening something happens, you are attacked by a group of thugs, Spider-man comes to the rescue in the nick of time. You come to Spider-man’s rescue in the nick of time.
This beast is 4,493 words.
The rain was coming down in torrents. The stench of garbage,
sweat and blood hit your nostrils as everything dampened. Saltiness met your
lips as you tasted the tears and blood from the gash above your brow they
had left you with. Your breath was coming too fast; ragged, stuttering, and
wheezy; the burning smell of gunpowder finally matching your inhale. Your chest
ached. Your head was pounding in time with your racing heart.
You were cold.
Surely he was dead.
The sound of the gun should’ve been loud enough to wake
anyone. In fact, you could hear people calling out from their windows; a shadow
looked down from the fire escape above; sound making its way to your ears, but
your brain wasn’t ready, wasn’t able to process it with the sight of the bodies
in front of you. The broken figure in blue and red, his brown locks peeking out
from the places his mask had split open. His skin was alarmingly pale, shocking
against the colors of the suit. You had never seen him this still.

Imagine~ Kai noticing you were anxious and making sure you were okay.
The music boomed through the club but you were the only person who seemed effected by the deafening volume. Alone, you sat at the bar, feeling uncomfortable being surrounded by the drunk, sweaty bodies.
Caroline bounced over to you, clearly tipsy from the alcohol that was running through her veins but due to her vampiric abilities she was able to have a rather high tolerance to it. “Come on Y/N! Let’s dance!” she shouted over the music, knowing you were bored here.
You rolled your eyes and followed her to the main floor, where bodies mingled and danced to the beat. As soon as you reached the crowd, Caroline fell into the abyss of drunk people leaving you alone and cramped.
It didn’t take you long to realize you didn’t fit it and you quickly became uncomfortable in your surroundings. Your breathing became shallow and your heart pounded.
The world seemed to be closing in on you and there was nothing you could do to prevent it. Just as you felt as if you were going to pass out, two arms pulled you up. Your eyes flickered up be met with Kai’s who was staring down at you in concern.
He pulled you out of the crowd but your heart still seemed to be pounding out of your chest. You slowly tried to adjust your breathing but to no avail, Kai still had his grip on you, worried you’d collapse at any second.
“Do you wanna get out of here?” he said, clearly noticing you weren’t getting any better. You gave him a small nod, grateful he at least partly got you out of your situation.
Of all the people you thought would help you, Kai was the last person you could’ve thought of. He was the enemy and sure as hell didn’t take any liking to you which is why it was so surprising he was so willing to help you, you were sure it was another ploy to get back at everyone but at this point you didn’t care.
The cold air hit you and you finally began to regain stability but not enough to be left alone. “Kai, do you mind dropping me home?” you breathed, glancing over at him.
He nodded slowly, his eyes still coated with concern. Gradually, he led you to his car, staying beside you to make sure you were okay. The loud music slowly drifted away as you pushed yourself into Kai’s car, the smell was minty and refreshing unlike the bar which only reeked of alcohol.
Kai soon joined you in the car, revving the engine as you looked out of the window seeing the drunken bodies flowing in and out of the bar. As the car slowly drove away your panic slowly began to calm down, although your breathing still felt some what shallow you couldn’t deny that being away from the party helped.
During the car ride you could constantly see Kai glancing over at you to make sure you were okay but you couldn’t help but wonder why he cared so much. “Um, Kai?” you stammered, clearly still anxious.
He hummed lightly in response, mainly focusing on the road but still willing to listen to what you had to say. “Why’d you help me? I thought you hated me.” you murmured, looking over at him as you awaited his reply.
“When I was younger I had plenty of panic attacks. I always felt anxious especially when I didn’t have control of my magic, it didn’t help that nobody was even there to help so I know how it feels to be alone in that type of situation. Which was why I couldn’t just leave you to suffer because I know how it feels.” he explained, not taking his eyes off the road.
You weren’t sure what to say, you knew about Kai’s past but only on the surface, never anything that was deep into his personality. “Oh, I’m sorry.” you whispered, them being the only words you could utter.
He simply turned to you and gave you a small smile before pulling up outside of your home. You didn’t want to be alone yet but you were hesitant to ask him to come in.
“Do you mind coming in for a bit? I just don’t want to be alone right now.” you said shakily, glancing over at him as if awaiting rejection. But instead he gave you a small, sympathetic nod before stepping out of the car and waiting for you to join him.
Slowly, you got out of the car and approached the porch with Kai following closely behind you. As you entered the home you could feel your anxious thoughts begin to slip away as the aroma of the house shielded you from the outside world.
Taking a deep breath, you stepped inside the home, slipping your heels off by the front door. Kai followed closely behind you, replicating your actions.
“I’m gonna put some comfy clothes on but make yourself at home.” you said, walking towards the stairs and towards your room. Kai shuffled around the living room, looking for a film to watch or at least something to do.
After a while, he simply turned on your TV and put Netflix which was something he’d completely forgotten was a thing. Not long after, you trudged down the stairs with leggings and an over sized jumper on, feeling much better than you did in the tight dress you’d previously been wearing.
You glanced over to see Kai lounged on the couch, watching American Horror Story and eating a bowl of popcorn. “Usually when people say ‘make yourself at home’ people don’t take that literally.” you giggled, looking at how relaxed he was.
Kai simply rolled his eyes, continuing on with his activities as you sat down next to him. The scent of Kai’s cologne radiated onto you and you couldn’t help but breathe in the sweet scent.
As the two of you watched the show in silence you could feel yourself growing closer to Kai. Either you were slowly moving over or he was but sooner or later your head was leaning against his torso as you slowly became more and more sleepy.
After just a few episodes, Kai became aware of your growing tiredness but wasn’t sure if he should leave or stay. Just as he was about to stand up, you could feel the movement beneath you and you knew you would miss his warmth.
“Stay.” you mumbled under your breath and you could feel Kai collapse back onto the couch beneath you. Your head rested against Kai’s torso as he played lightly with your hair.
With the slow background sound of the TV you gradually drifted off to sleep, grateful it was Kai who’d come to save you on the dance floor.
(a/n) in this imagine I would like to say I’m not trying to romanticize anxiety or anything of that sort. I don’t think these should be put out as if a simple kiss will heal it. Mental health isn’t something that should be romanticized so if this imagine feels as if it is I apologize but I did try and avoid it but I also wanted to say that I won’t write imagines that involve that kind of nature<3
Without knowing and without wanting, we build walls. It happens quietly and slowly over time when we choose the things in life that do not command love and righteousness. It happens when we forget to spend time with God in solitude. Then one day, we struggle with loving our neighbors, we struggle with understanding what grace is in our lives. The collapse of a relationship is not when the heated arguments become overbearing, it’s when the silence sets in that we know a void has begun in our lives.
I must be reminded daily of the love of Jesus, I must remember who it was that first brought me from death to life. How shallow is my heart to think that I can go a minute without praise in my heart for the one who loves without end; How hollow is my soul to long for such temporary things, and not for the Father in whom all things are given.
May I have the right mindset to lean on Jesus, and may I have the understanding to fully accept His grace in my heart.
Trini trying to teach Kim yoga but having a hard time cuz Kim is used to fast cheerleading moves and has no patience; 'til Trini stands behind her to guide her through the movements.
Idk how I feel about this one, but here you go!
Kimberly knew she had a hopeless crush on Trini, she knew that she was in deep, that she couldn’t help that she always got lost in Trini’s warm brown eyes, her bright smile after Kimberly made a dorky joke or after their little ‘fights’ over food, the way she always smelled like pinewood and cedar, normally Kimberly didn’t like the smell, but on Trini it just fit, the earthy smell was comforting and grounding, like her, her smug smirk, which Kim wanted to kiss off her soft, smug lips, every time she saw it. She accepted that she liked Trini, a lot, well maybe more than a lot. Trini was always on her mind, whether she wanted it or not, she could not stop thinking about the other ranger, how small she was, how she would fit perfectly in Kimberly’s arms, how adorable it’d be how if they kissed, Trini would have to stand on her tiptoes to kiss Kimberly, how her tiny, soft hands would fit perfectly in her Kim’s. Kimberly audibly groaned every time she had the thoughts, which was more often than not. She knew it was very inconvenient, especially since the other girl was one of her closest friends, and insisted on them training together, which always ended up in Kim getting her ass kicked, cafe ‘dates’ together, were Kim never finished her food, always too busy focusing on Trini, studying together, Kim never got any work done. All these occasions ended in Kimberly getting smacked in the face with the gay, realizing how hard she was crushing on her best friend. Kimberly also couldn’t say no to the other girl, not for the life of her, so when Trini suggested that they do yoga together on top of the cliff face, Kimberly didn’t even hesitate before saying yes. She did happen to notice the stunned look on Trini’s face of how quick she said yes, and she tried to correct herself.
“Uh..Yeah I’d be down, that’d be cool.”
Kimberly utterly failed at trying to compose herself, and she could feel the blush creeping up her neck and face. Trini nodded her head and replied, looking at Kimberly suspiciously.
“Oh..Okay, well I’ll see you here tomorrow after school, four-ish work?” Trini asked, studying Kimberly, who once again answered much to fast.
“Yes..I mean, um..yeah four should work, uh, I’ll see you then.”
She corrected herself, stuttering profusely, her blush intensifying, a small bashful smile spreading across her face. Trini had a small smirk on her face, but it wasn’t smug, more like surprised, as she confirmed.
“Alright Princess, I’ll see you tomorrow then.”
She says smugly, before leaving the pit, scurrying up the rock wall. Once Kim knew that she was out of earshot, Kim let out a loud sigh, leaning against the rock wall, sighing loudly, muttering.
“Oh yeah, you’re screwed dude, have fun with that.”
Zack pops out from behind the rock face, causing Kimberly to jump slightly, as he chuckles scurrying up the wall, before she could say anything about him spying on her and Trini. Kimberly would normally be very angry and would chase after him, but she just picks up a lone rock and tries to chuck it at him, sighing exasperatedly as the rock lands just in above of his head, just missing him. Zack looks back and smiles smugly, as Kimberly makes a face at him, giving an exaggerated smile, flipping him off. He chuckled before running out of sight before Kim could chuck another projectile at him, but not without shouting good luck at her. Kim groans again, asking herself how the hell she got herself into this situation, but she’d be lying if she said she wasn’t excited, in the most terrifying way possible.
Her phone told her it was four o’clock, and she knew that she had to go see Trini, she knew she shouldn’t bail on her, but everything inside of Kim was telling her to run, to get away, knowing that she was gonna make a fool out of herself, embarrass herself, and then replay it in her head the rest of day. Kim took a deep breath, trying to mentally prepare herself, but as she saw Trini, she could physically feel herself getting slapped in the face with how tremendously gay she was for the other girl, or bi, or whatever she was, which was not the priority right now, considering that Trini was standing at the cliff face, in nothing but extremely tight black leggings, which were very form fitting, making it impossible for Kim not stare at her ass, and a yellow tank top, which was basically see through. Kimberly couldn’t look away, her eyes widening, taking in a large breath, trying not to make any noise, as Trini was already doing her poses, seemingly very relaxed. She had to have done this on purpose, she had to have noticed Kimberly’s long stares, how she stuttered whenever talking to the girl, a blush permanently on her face, Trini had to know how much agony Kimberly was in, she was basically torturing her, and Kim could do nothing about it.
She took another deep breath, and as she was about to walk forward ,Trini spoke, her eyes still closed.
“So are you gonna keep staring, or am I actually gonna get a chance to teach you?”
Trini asks, the stupid smug smirk on her face, which made Kimberly want to kiss her, badly, the outfit wasn’t helping either. Kim can’t get any words out of her mouth, just mumbles and stutters, so Trini just nods her over, and they begin, Kimberly’s heartbeat intensifying the closer she got to Trini. This was going to be hell.
Kimberly should’ve known she was going to be bad at yoga, she’s a cheerleader, she’s used to fast movements, her body anxiously waiting for the next formation, she always had to keep moving, but that wasn’t what yoga was about. It was about being calm and centred, not worrying about the outside world, it was slow and gradual, each position held for longer than the other. Trini was balanced perfectly, her eyes closed, her breathing deep and steady, while Kimberly was struggling to balance, her eyes focused on the ground, her breathing uneven and shallow, her heart racing anytime she looked up, considering they were on top of a cliff, only a few feet away from the edge. She was trying, very hard, not to make a sound and balance herself, without disturbing the other girl, who looked so peaceful, but she was failing miserably. She shifted her feet again, trying to regain some balance, and Trini finally said something, her eyes still shut.
“I can literally hear you struggling, Princess.”
There was no trace of irritation in her voice, only enjoyment, as she opened her eyes, an amused smile spreading across her face, as she saw how awkward Kimberly looked, her body contorted in the oddest position. Trini lets out a small laugh, causing Kimberly to huff in frustration, returning to a regular standing position. Trini teases her again.
“I didn’t know your body could bend that way, cheerleader.”
Kimberly felt her entire body flush, having to bite her tongue, her breath hitched at the comment. She took a moment to regain her composure before teasing back.
“Well I’m sorry Miss. I-do-yoga-on-top-of-a-mountain that we can’t all be as well balanced and steady as you are.”
She says teasingly. Trini makes an odd, unreadable face, as if she was taking what Kim said into consideration. She nods her head before stating.
“Okay, fine. First position.”
Trini says simply, as Kim’s face contorts into confusion. She asks, her heart beating faster as Trini moves closer to her.
She stumbles over her words again, as Trini moves closer, the smell of cedar filling Kimberly’s nose, as Trini says, her voice barely louder than a whisper.
Her voice was low and sultry and Kim’s breath hitches again. Okay now Trini was defiantly torturing her, on purpose. Kim goes into the first position Trini showed her, her balance off, her feet stumbling, and her breath uneven, until she feels Trini’s hands on her arm, Kim’s back against Trini’s front. Kimberly’s eyes go wide, which thankfully Trini can’t see. As Trini guides Kimberly’s motions, each point of contact sending shivers down Kim’s spine, but her skin also heated up at each point of touch. They fell into a rhythm, as Trini guided Kimberly through each movement, her hands never leaving Kimberly’s body, as Kimberly started to melt into her touch, her eyes shutting closed, as they moved as one, Kimberly’s heartbeat so loud, she was pretty sure that Trini could hear it. Kimberly was able to move through the motions much easier, and as Trini led her through the last motion, bringing Kimberly back into a regular standing position, Trini pulled her hands away slowly, but she didn’t move back, her body still impossibly close to Kimberly, but yet, still not close enough. Kimberly turned around to face the other girl, their faces not even inches apart, the tension around them so thick Kimberly was sure she could cut it with a knife. Trini’s eyes visibly drop to Kimberly’s lips, and instinctively she licks them, as Trini’s eyes slowly moving back to meet Kimberly’s eyes. Kimberly swallowed loudly, waiting for something to happen, the anticipation literally killing her, then Trini moved closer. She moved in slow motion, her lips meeting Kimberly’s ever so slowly, much softer than Kimberly had ever imagined, not like she imagined this, not at all, okay she had, more times than she wanted to admit. The kiss was impossibly slow, it was as if time stopped, all Kimberly could focus on was the feeling of Trini’s warm lips against hers, everything seemingly fading away. Their lips moved together, as one, just like when Trini was guiding her moments ago. As Trini pulled away, Kimberly caught herself chasing after the other girls lips, and as she opened her eyes, she was greeted with Trini’s smug smirk, her breathing shallow, her brown eyes sparkling. Trini is the first to speak, breathless.
“Not bad, Princess.”
She says teasingly, a pleased smile spreading across her face as Kimberly couldn’t help but blush, her face tomato red, and she didn’t care, she didn’t care as she kissed the stupid, smug smirk off of Trini’s face, something she had wanted to do since the first day they met, and all she could say, was that it was as pleasing and fulfilling as she had imagined. Trini had to stand on her tiptoes, trying to kiss Kimberly, and as she did, the world faded around them, all they could focus on was each other, and Kimberly knew, that her crush on Trini was much more than a crush, and she couldn’t care less.
“so I like to think that every Sunday when Ronan goes to church, he thinks about stopping by to see adam but never does because maybe sundays are the only days the garage is closed and he can get some sleep for once, and then one day as the organist is playing in mass he realizes that adam must be able to hear everything, there’s no way he could sleep through it. So one day he dreams some noiseless headphones and leaves them outside adam’s door, and well-rested adam starts smiling more after that”
Thank you so much for submitting i looveeed this idea, you’re so creative!!
This is 1,714 words, pre relationship
He was so close.
Just for fun, Ronan tried to calculate the distance in feet between him and Adam during mass. The distance in yards, inches, meters.
Shuffling brought him out of his daydreams. The service was over, people were getting up to leave. A certain distinct part of Ronan became thrilled.
Maybe he could do it today. Maybe he’d casually stop by Adam’s scrappy appartement on this bright Sunday, he was in the area anyway, right?
As Ronan walked out of the old church building, he looked up to where he knew Adam lived and sighed. He wouldn’t go to Adams, he never would on a Sunday morning- the only day Boyd’s was closed and Adam could even attempt to sleep in. Adam needed the rest.
With a deep breath and a considerable amount of restraint, Ronan walked by the door of Saint Agnes’, saying a simple prayer to whoever would listen on behalf of Adam’s well-being.
Thinking about seeing Adam tomorrow made Ronan excited about the start of the school week. The fact that someone could do that to him was more than uncomfortable but also more than thrilling. Just twelve hours more.
In deliberate nonchalance the next morning, Ronan flopped down into the chair beside Adam’s, hardly sparing a glance his was. Hardly holding himself back from looking more.
Adam’s eyes were sunken it and glazed, not in the classroom or aware. Disheveled hair and sustained blinks were all the clues Ronan needed.
“Sleep much Parrish?” He pried with carefully disguised concern.
“Hm?” Adam looked to Ronan for the first time that morning, revealing the full vacancy of his expression.
Ronan found himself struck with an unfounded feeling of anger. Of course a few hours extra of sleep wouldn’t really change much. He just wanted better for Adam. How dare sleep in Sundays not help this boy more?
Ronan had been staring and Adam hadn’t been awake enough to realize, when Gansey arrived in class wearing some horrible new boat shoes that disgustingly matched his Aglionby uniform.
Ronan cracked a joke that Adam didn’t catch and Gansey reprimanded Ronan for his lack of preparation for class. Ronan didn’t care. He had one reason for coming to school this morning, and that reason was currently a sleepy dead man walking.
A bell rung, class began and Ronan couldn’t stop think about Adam. Wondering about the dark rings under his eyes and how to change their existence. Why didn’t thoes few extra hours of sleep make any difference for Adam? Ronan avoided him after church just so he could catch up on sleep-
Church. Maybe that was it. Of course. It had to be. The church’s organ was scarcely well played, never well receive and always incredibly loud. And at seven thirty every Sunday morning, it began blaring some underrehearsed hymnal right below Adam’s room.
No wonder the extra hours asleep did nothing for Adam- he wasn’t getting them. Ronan couldn’t blame him; who could sleep through those atrocious sounds?
Fuck the organ. Fuck the organ player. But this was good. At least Ronan knew the problem, that meant he could dream away to stop it.
Ronan dreamed without sound. It was disorienting to be cut off from the senses within his own head.
He saw Adam. They were, both of them in the forest, but Adam was laying down on that shitty mistress from his apartment. He was tossing around, holding hands to his ears.
Ronan sat in the edge of the bed, next to the restless Dream Adam. Still, Ronan couldn’t hear a thing. Adam sat up and looked st Ronan- his eyes glassy with this dream world. Reaching his hands out, Dream Adam brushed his fingers by Ronan’s ears.
Shivering unwillingly, Ronan watched as Dream Adam pulled solidly black earbuds from Ronan’s ears. Sound came back at once.
“Oh,” Ronan mused, “I get it.”
Ronan took the headphones from Adam, savoring the way their fingers brushed in the exchange.
Following the thin headphone cord to his pocket, Ronan found them connected to a solid black cube, printed with simple white letters, reading:
It was Saturday night before Ronan finally found the guts to bring the noise eliminating gift to Adam. He had to bring them tonight so the church organ wouldn’t wake Adam in the morning.
He pulled up into the gravely parking area of St. Agnes’s, noted the absence of Adam’s shitbox and opted to wait in the hallway outside Adam’s door.
Ronan stretched his legs out strait in front of him, back against a wall of peeling paint. He put the dream buds into his ears and closed his eyes.
Almost, Ronan thought, he could dream like this. This particular brand of silence was like a blanket, protecting whoever experienced it from whatever pain and noise existed outside of it.
Ronan started when he felt a gentle kick to the side of his knee. Ripping the soundless ear buds from his ears, he looked up to see Adam Parrish, messing with the apartment key before unlocking his door.
“Sleep much, Lynch?” He smirked. Adam had the sleeves of his blue coveralls tied around his waist, white tee shirt hugging his chest in a way that forced blush to Ronan’s cheeks. He got up and followed Adam inside, deciding to have some fun.
“Listen to this new song I found Parrish?” Ronan said, meeting Adam at his desk where he already stood looking over the weekend’s homework.
“Ronan I swear, if you’re talking about the Murder Squash song-” Ronan cut Adam off by bringing the headphones to the boy’s ears.
Ronan held his hands over Adams ears, thumbs along his jaw bone. Ronan told himself this action was necessary in order to ensure Adam didn’t rip the buds away, but in actuality, Ronan wished he could hold Adam’s face like that all day.
“I don’t hear anything!” Adam said, a bit too loudly. Ronan hesitantly removed his hands from Adams face in order to dangle the connected ABSOLUTE SILENCE CUBE by Adams face.
Ronan smirked and Adam laughed. This reactions supercharged Ronan’s state of being. His stomach felt light and his eyes felt on fire.
Ronan reached to take the ear buds from Adam, wishing to make some snide comment he hadn’t thought of yet. Ronan was saved the trouble of figuring out some witty remark when Adam grabbed his hand.
It seemed like maybe he would swat it away, but Adam just kept his fingers on Ronan’s palm, thumb on the back of his hand
“I like you better on silent.” Adam joked, adjusting his voice to what he probably thought was a normal volume but just came out low and undeniably sexy. Adam still held Ronan’s hand in his own.
Touch was electric.
Breathing shallow and heart thoroughly wrecked, Ronan stumbled away from Adam in an awkward tornado of too long limbs. Adam caught Ronan by his left arm, took out the ear buds and laughed.
“So, standing? Were you skipping school the day that was covered?” Adam quipped.
“Fuck off Parrish.” Ronan snapped, but he made no move to leave Adam’s grasp. Standing was one thing, standing in the presence of Adam Parrish was another.
They both smirked. Adam headed to the shower leaving Ronan with the soundless headphones and the dimming light in the room.
If he stayed, Ronan knew what would happen. He’d try to kiss Adam, he knew he would. It was just one of those nights where Adam was extra irresistible. The firework touches didn’t help.
Ronan resolved to go home. He left the soundless earbuds on Adam’s pillow and quietly left.
Sunday was torcher. All through mass, Ronan could only hope Adam was getting the extra sleep he needed. What if he didn’t notice Rona had left the headphones, or just disregarded them all together? Adam was used to Ronan’s accidental dream creations, maybe he thought nothing of the ABSOLUTE SILENCE creation.
The urge to stop in at Adam’s was stronger than ever but Ronan tore himself away from the church apartment buildings and prayed for a well rested Adam.
When Ronan entered his first period class the next morning his eyes went strait to Adam as they always did. He looked slightly more at ease and aware of his surroundings. Adam jerked his head in greeting as Ronan walked in, even smiled at him for the seconds before obnoxious classmates began to fill the room.
This time, when Ronan commented on Gansey’s strange style choices, Adam laughed and ignited the electricity in Ronan from that weekend. He felt on top of the world, like he was finally doing something worth any amount of time put into it.
Adam seemed better during class, he smiled more, his notes were more organized. Ronan was sure he was imagining it but it seemed like Adam kept stealing glances his way. Even the possibility made Ronan soar.
After class, Adam held back until Ronan was ready to leave. They walked out of the room together into the already emptied out hallways. Adam stopped before heading out of the building to his next class.
“You’re gonna be late Parrish, the entire faculty with shit their pants if-”
Ronan couldn’t continue, not with Adam’s mouth pressed against his own, Adam’s fingers gripping his uniform tie.
Adam leaned against Ronan with his whole body and Ronan felt he would melt into the wood paneling behind him if he didn’t hold onto something. He gripped Adam around the waist and closed his eyes.
Ronan couldn’t be sure if this was real or not. He needed to remember it forever, he needed to understand what was happening in his brain.
“Adam,” was all he could manage to say.
Adam pressed one more kiss onto Ronan’s mouth.
“For the record,” Adam began simply, “I don’t like you better on silent.”
Ronan laughed even though he didn’t have the breath for it.
“Even when you’re being and asshole.”
Ronan smiled against Adam’s check and kissed him there without thinking before bringing their lips back together.
Really, if all Adam need was a few extra hours of sleep to be interested in this, in him of all people, Ronan figured silent headphones were a small price to pay.
Scarred your back was turned curled like an embryo take another face you will be kissed again i was cold as i mouthed the words and crawled across the mirror i wait await the next breath your name like ice into my heart a shallow grave a monument to the ruined age ice in my eyes and eyes like ice don’t move screaming at the moon another past time your name like ice into my heart Everything as cold as life can no one save you? everything as cold as silence and you never say a word your name like ice into my heart your name like ice into my heart
This is a short one-shot for @starlitsummersky, who inspired me with this beautiful piece of art! I know you didn’t necessarily ask for this, but I was in a bit of a writing slump today and your picture totally inspired me! This may not be the best but it got me writing again and for that I’m so grateful! I hope you like it <3
There’s some pretty heavy making out in this fic, but it’s not smut. There’s also like zero plot lol
“Not that I’m complaining or anything, but shouldn’t baking cookies be a little bit lower on our priority list?”
“Fresh cookies are the fastest way to make a house feel like a home.” Betty replied, pouring a heaping portion of chocolate chips into the mixing bowl. “Besides, I want to make sure the oven is properly working before our house warming party next week, and this seemed like a great way to test it out.”
She continued stirring the batter together, Jughead coming up behind her and scooping some dough out of the bowl with his finger.
“Juggie!” She chastised, swatting him away but laughing nonetheless. He popped what bit of food he had managed to escape with into his mouth with a triumphant smirk.
“Sorry Betts, you know I’ve never been good at waiting.”
She rolled her eyes at his childish display, a small smile playing across her lips. She began portioning the dough onto the cookie sheet, being careful to guard the tray with her body and prevent Jughead from swiping any more bites. When she finished, she popped the cookies into the oven and set the timer to twelve minutes.
“Now we just have to wait.” She announced, stepping over to the sink to wash her hands of any excess ingredients.
“What should we do until then?” Jughead crept up behind her, snaking his arms around her waist and placing a suggestive kiss on her neck.
“Well,” Betty deadpanned, “You could help me wash the dishes.”
“Or…” Jughead’s voice rumbled in her ear before nipping at it hungrily.
“Or we could go unpack a few more boxes?” She teased, giggling as his hands grazed the skin beneath her tank top.
“Or…” He spun her around as his voice turned into something more primal, Betty’s entire body shivering at his intention.
“Or we could go organize the pantry?” She whispered, her breath shallow as her heart rate quickened with anticipation. Jughead didn’t bother responding, instead lunging forward and capturing her lips in his.
Betty gasped into him, her entire body flushing against his as his tongue begged permission against her lips. She gave him entrance instantly, the kiss intensifying quickly as her hands reached up around his neck and pulled him in deeper. He broke away for a second to lift her by the thighs, an excited squeal escaping her lips as he carried her to the counter top.
The second she made contact with the granite she wrapped her legs around his waist, forcing him closer. His lips instantly dropped to her chest, his tongue sucking it’s way along her collarbone and burning a trail of pink into her heated flesh. She tilted her head back in elation, granting him more access as his mouth continue to devour the skin just above her breast and his hands raked their way up her back.
She clawed at his hair, grabbing hold of his beanie and tossing it off to the side. She relished in the feeling of his dark locks between her fingers, accompanied by the small thrill that came from knowing this place was reserved for her and no one else. His tongue swiped at the pulse point on her neck and she moaned, reaching down and grabbing a greedy fistful of his t-shirt. Unable to resist any longer, she forced his head upward and locked his lips back with hers. She eagerly allowed the taste of him to overwhelm her, his hands sliding up her thighs and resting just below the hem of her cotton shorts.
She lifted her supporting arms just for a moment to pull his hand farther north, gripping tighter onto his shirt for balance. At her encouragement he pushed his body further into hers, one hand palming her butt cheek as the other slid across her jawline before grabbing the back of her neck. His fingers placed pressure along her spine as he bit down on her bottom lip, evoking an heated sigh from Betty.
A low growl echoed in his chest at the sound of her pleasure, every hair on Betty’s body set on edge at the rumbling. It was primal, it was instinctive, and it was incredibly sexy. She dragged her hands along his chest, running them down his abdomen and around his hip bones. Her lips continued to attack his with a growing ferocity, her nails scratching at his lower back. She toyed with the hem of his shirt, fully prepared to rid him of the offending garment when the oven timer began beeping.
“Oh my gosh!” She exclaimed in surprise, the cookies having been long forgotten in the heat of the moment. She clutched her chest, dazed from the interaction and irritated by the interruption. Jughead laughed breathlessly at her shock, his chest rising and falling as he attempted to come down from the high.
She giggled in response, her laughter meshing into his until they were both laughing at nothing, her head falling into his chest as her shoulders shook with joy.
When they had calmed down she pushed him away, hopping off the counter and readjusting her ponytail before pulling the cookies from the oven. The sweet aroma instantly filled the room, making everything around them feel more full.
“Well,” Jughead broke the silence, a cheeky grin on his lips, “That’s one way to work up an appetite.”

Her cheeks were
kissed pink from the winter air. Her jacket fluttered with the wind, her hands
hastily wrapping it around her frame. Hands tucked away and hair bouncing
around; Y/N Gilbert was on her way home from the Mystic Grill. The streets were
lonely, few people adventuring to their destinations. It became eerier as she
walked to the Salvatore’s house
As she neared
the boarding house, she felt watched. Y/N felt eyes piercing her skin as she
walked to the house. A scream was lodged in her throat as she was abruptly
pulled into the dark forest. Hands clamped over her mouth, a voice soothingly
recognisable made her slump. “Why so
scared, Y/N? It’s only me” Kai Parker smiled, his pearly white teeth
visible midst the darkness.
She rolled her
eyes; a sigh passing her lips as she did so. She stood on the tops of her feet,
her nose touching his. His hot breath warmed her up, he was a fire that
consumed her. This fire could not be tamed. Eyelids flutter close as lips
connect. Noses bump and harsh giggles are met. This was their normal routine.
She couldn’t be seen with him. This was forbidden. Her older sister Elena will
never allow it; she’d probably kill the both of them.
away, as the lack of oxygen burned their lungs. Her fingers found their way to his
hair and she threaded them through it. “I
should probably go before Elena thinks I’m dead,” a quiet chuckle left her
mouth. He smiled at her and gave her one last kiss, this one more passionate
than the last.
“I walk you to the door, don’t want
anyone to pull you into the darkness” he
winked. Hands clasped together, they made the small walk to the Salvatore house.
She reached the door and her lips lingered on his cheek. She heard a mutter,
then Kai disappeared. As he did so, the door busted open, revealing a worried
