Flowers of The Night Oracle Unboxing

“Though my soul may set in darkness, it will rise to perfect light; I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night.”     -Sarah Williams

I ordered this deck back in November of last year from Etsy, before the decks had printed, but after the Kickstarter had ended. It was a lovely surprise to come home to, today.

Cheralyn Darcey, the deck’s creator, is a pure ray of sunshine. If you watch even half a minute of any of her YouTube videos, she’ll have you smiling from ear to ear. She’s a lovely human being, and you can see the goodness radiating from her. I love her, and she is precious. Protect her at all costs.

That being said, I turn my attention back to the deck. I’m quite surprised this deck hasn’t been catching more attention from the Tumblr community… As soon as I saw it on Etsy, it was an instant attraction. My first inclination, is that this will be a good oracle deck for shadow-work and introspective meditations. The poem that I placed under the heading for this post is from the guidebook, and I think it beautifully characterizes the deck.

“Come into the Night Garden and explore your powers and passions with this dedicated oracle deck of flowers coupled with the animals, insects, birds and places their original environments.”   -Descriptor on the deck box.

The deck consists of 44 Flower reading Oracle Cards. Some cards also feature an animal or insect along with its flower. The guidebook is conveniently sized, with well-thought descriptions and meanings. Each card also has the proper name of the flowers and animals that appear on them.

The box is excellent! The lid is hinged and sturdy… I don’t think I’ll be making a wallet for these cards, but rather let them live in their original, beautiful home.  As you could guess, the deck comes with a guidebook and a post card where Cheralyn wrote a thank you.

I really love this deck, and I can’t wait to start working with it!

If you think you might want one of your own, I suggest you head over to Etsy and secure one, as this is a one time run deck… after they’re gone, they’re gone for good!

I have a bit of an obsession. It’s the kind of obsession that I’m hoping will get out of hand because this little spot in my room makes me really happy. Do you have a favorite series?

My favorite page in my grimoire thus far 💕🌌 it’s specifically about space correspondences ranging from black holes to meteors. It’s got so many layers to it, including highlighted portions of the book, notes on the page itself, drawings beneath watercolor and acrylic, drawings on top, and shiny penmanship. There are so many details to it and while I was making the page I felt more ehhh, but I fell in love once I got to the lettering. Pages like this keep me so motivated and excited to see what else is coming and to watch my progress unfold, especially as I’ve been using it as an art journal. Witchery is therapy.

After which the spell is lifted he is made well again.Take a black candle and place a picture of thine enemy in front of you and tilt the candle so the wax drips upon the would be victim in the picture. Visualize the wax burning sores into the body of thine enemy. While doing so, recite the following 3 times…

“As I do this candle spell Bring thine enemy 3 nights of hell Candle black, black as night Bring him pains of flesh tonight! lesions on his skin will grow Afflict him with a painful blow Sores and pain afflict him now for 3 nights he’ll wonder how Dukes of darkness, Kings of hell Smite thine enemy, bring him hell when 3 nights of pain have past Make him well, well at last”.

After sitting and thinking about the sores that will infflict your enemy and the pain he will suffer you may then extinguish the candle. When 3 nights have past tear up the photo and say the following…

A Starless Night Ritual For Letting Go of Guilt, Whether Warranted or Not

You will need:

  • Candles or lamps in your home

Timing:

After dark on a cloudy night.

The spell:

Outside, look up to where the stars would be, saying, “Stars, thought invisible this night, yet I know you shine your light. The clouds will clear, you will appear, and I will shed this guilt and fear.”

Move you hands in and out slowly, palms vertical and facing each other, and create an invisible energy ball from the power in your hands. Toss the energy ball up high and say, “Guilt be gone!”

Go indoors and light candles or turn on all the lamps, saying, “Like the stars I will shine again. No guilt remains, for peace I gain.”
