Can someone please write a story in an alternate universe where humans and aliens are friendly to each other and a mixed-species crew are going to earth for the resident humans to see their families again and no one else has ever been there and the humans always hyper focus one one or two things about it so the others don’t have a lot of knowledge about earth, and they’re just so freaked out by all the deadly things they find there
and then they visit Australia cause one of the human crew members has grandparents or cousins or someone there, but they’re not Australian themselves so the aliens are just…so unprepared.
Can you do more of that mafia au? Like, the team's reaction when they learn abt it through a mind meld thing and shiro is all like "You're a Salazar?!" And it causes shit. Also, can the dad be named Ernesto? Like, I was watching a Mexican telenovela in Spanish class and there was a mafia leader named Ernesto Salazar. It's called "La Tempestad" if you wanna watch it. I hope you do, it's really good.
I still don’t know how the MafiaAU gained a lot of attention (why did this gained a lot of attention? Can someone tell me the reason? I think we all just want to see Iverson to go down.) but here is Part 2. Oh, I like it. Okay, I’ll name the Dad as ‘Ernesto’. I’ll try to watch that show when I get the chance :) .

five years of fighting against a war that was on going for the past ten
thousand years, Allura finally got the chance to grant the wishes of her
Paladins to temporarily go back home. Sure, there were still loose ends that
were supposed to be taken care of but it wouldn’t hurt to let the other
planetary leaders to handle it for a while. After all, everyone agreed that
team Voltron needed some well-deserved vacation.
all those five years, Allura learned a lot of stuff from her Paladins and in
return she watched them grew more as a human and as a soldier. They taught her
how to have fun from time to time and cherish every minute of relaxation with
her second family. They taught her that she should not devote her whole life
fighting, that she had people watching her back and would never judge her if
she would trip and fall. They taught her that it was fine to make mistakes as
long as she would learn to reflect upon those said mistakes. And most of all,
they taught her to trust them indefinitely.
there was one Paladin that confused her the most then Allura would definitely
Blue Paladin initially showed himself as this person that never took things
seriously unless it was a life and death situation, flirty in a point that always
leave Allura exasperated (but later on she accepted it as part of Lance’s
nature and she would not change it in any other way), say things that sound
idiotic some of the times but a good strategist especially in abrupt situations
like being trapped or ambushed by the enemies. All in all, Lance was a human
that always contradicted himself from the way he let others know him. At least
that how Allura had perceived it.
even became the face and voice of Voltron when it comes to diplomatic
situations. Sure, Allura was the Princess and Shiro was the leader of the
Paladins, but they could never mirror Lance’s charisma and the way he weaved
his words to gain the favour of important individuals. From these situations,
Allura eventually learned that some flirting of Lance was used to make the
other person to let their guard down and gain their trust. It was as if Lance
was trained ever since he could speak on how to have such silver tongue.
bit of praise in here, a bit of touch there, a little bit of a dance, a little
bit of sympathy, and Voltron already gained a new ally by the end of the night.
All thanks to Lance.
once tried to open the discussion about family backgrounds. Pidge and Hunk
ended up crying in that session because they suddenly realized how much they
missed their blood relatives. Keith tried to play it down on how he didn’t have
a family to miss on Earth but he still didn’t get away from the group hug.
Lance simply smiled sadly and mumbled something along the lines of ‘at least I
cut off some ties…still miss my Mom’s hugs though…’. Shiro attempted to make
Lance to speak more about it but the Blue Paladin remained silent for the rest
of the session.
all changed a lot in the course of five years.
changed though was like a flip of the switch.
that hysteric laughter that one fateful breakfast and with an added disturbing
explanation, Lance started acting as if the weight of the world was finally off
his shoulders. His shooting skills improved in a speed level that Allura was
inclined to think that Lance was born with a gun on his hands. His hand to hand
combat didn’t rely on strength alone but more in flexibility. Allura never
thought that dancing could also be used as a form of combat. As days passed,
Lance gave a few opinions here and there on their battle strategies that ended
up with them having low casualties compared to the initial plans.
bothers Allura the most though…was the way Lance gathered his information. He
was not like Pidge that hacks in the system. No, Lance liked to do his
information gathering in person. Often times it was the Blue Paladin who
corners commanders of the ships they were raiding. Lance would take a lot of
time but eventually he would return with more information than they have gathered
from the ship’s database. The specks of bloods on his body though didn’t escape
Allura, Coran, and Shiro’s attention. All of them have the same assumption that
Lance used torture to get what he wanted.
was an assumption that was never proven but could not be denied also. Allura
feared that it was her fault that Lance changed so drastically, that he showed
more thirst for blood like a soldier excited for a new battle, all because she
pushed her Paladins in a war that they were not aware that was happening in the
all of it was better left in the back of her mind for now. Today was a day for
her Paladins, a few months on Earth would do them some good. They explained to
her and Coran that it was much better if the Earth’s government would still
remain unaware of the existence of other life forms outside of Earth. Hunk and
Pidge told her that humans might be in par with the Galra when it comes to
experimenting the unknown. Most humans would rather treat aliens like mindless
animals than creatures with feelings. Shiro suggested to them that it was
better to leave the Castle of Lions outside of Earth’s radar, meaning they
needed to stop out of the Milky Way Galaxy, and just use the pods to get near
to their home planet.
it was Lance who suggested a safe place to land. They left the Castle in the
hands of a few friends they managed to have through the years of fighting the
Galra empire and set course for the coordinates that Lance gave to them.
was so excited to finally meet Lance’s family…wait, that could probably be said
a bit better but that was what he still meant. Hunk never had the opportunity to
visit Lance’s home and family even if they had been friends for years. It was
always Lance who visited Hunk during vacations and holidays and never the other
way around. So for Lance to suggest a place to land and when he realized that
it was the beloved beach that the Blue Paladin always talked about with his
best friend, Hunk could not contain his excitement.
here!!!” Hunk heard the enthusiastic scream coming from Lance and chuckled
himself when Shiro shouted words of caution to their Blue Paladin, which was
went unheard due to the happy cheers.
by one they all followed Lance and soon reached the only building found in the
area, at least the area that could only be reached by their eyes.
all the years they had traveled in outer space, Hunk saw a lot of vacation
houses. He saw a lot and it was enough to say that the one if front of them
could be classified as one. The house itself might be 250 square meters,
excluding the garden part, it has three floors with a rooftop and balcony. The color
scheme was a mix between shades of blue and streaks of white, ocean waves and
Earth sea creatures adorned the walls while tropical flowers was engraved in
the pillars and glass windows.
story short, it was like a vacation house owned by a very rich family.
“¡Bienvenido a mi
Lance said with outstretched arms to emphasize the house behind him, “Well…at
least for now. This is not the main house after all. But make yourself at home
to my vacation house! Tomorrow we will take a plane to Italy and meet my whole
family!” he was about to run away again but Hunk held him firm this time before
leaving them behind.
Lance, buddy, my friend, what do you mean by ‘going to Italy and meet my whole
did you just said that this is your vacation
house?! Are you some kind of rich kid here on Earth?!” Pidge was clutching
her hair, that has grown past her shoulders, as if it could help her making
sense of the information she had just been given.
Oops?! That’s all you can say?! Why
Pidgeon!” Lance put his hands in surrender, “Let’s take a rest for now! I’ll
answer your questions tomorrow once we got to that main house!”
was still steaming with mix emotions but decided to let it go with an angry
huffed. Lance might be the most talkative human she had ever met but he rarely
pull out personal information like family backgrounds.
now? Follow me!”
they were walking towards the entrance, Keith asked an important question, “How
are you so sure that this place still belongs to you? I mean, it’s been five
looked back at the group with a playful smile on his face.
just know it. Besides, this place was a gift for me by the Decimo himself.”
was the question that revolved around everyone’s mind. Allura and Coran was
just confused by the baffled expression of the rest of the Paladins towards
Lance so they opted to stay quiet. This was not their planet after all. They
still don’t know the majority of human customs due to its diversities.
Lance could knock, the door suddenly opened and they were greeted by a scene
that they thought could only be found by exaggerated movies. For before them,
four maids to the right and four butlers to the left were lined in a row. Judging
from the posture of the man and woman who opened the door it was safe to assume
that they were the heads.
caught Shiro’s attention though was the banner that was proudly displayed on
the wall directly on the path of the entrance. It had the symbol of a beautiful
mermaid with her tail wrapped around a bullet and the sides were designed with
twin towers. It was a very familiar insignia for Shiro and he was sure he had
seen it during his years in Japan.
clicked in though when the maids and butlers spoke simultaneously.
Young Master Lance Salazar.”
looked at Lance like he had just seen him for the very first time. The others
just felt their jaws dropped at the sudden revelation.
a Salazar?! As in that Salazar?! Salazar
time, Lance gave them a mischievous smirk that was clearly up to no good.
There was no remorse or guilt laced tone when Lance said that.
In Starfinder, the world of Golarion has vanished under mysterious circumstances; its peoples having long since been relocated to the futuristic Absalom Station, or the far flung corners of the Galaxy. The various races of Pathfinder (Elves, Dwarves, Halflings, Half-Orcs, etc) still exist, but lack the same dominance on the galactic scale that they enjoyed on Golarion. Instead, the demographics of the Pact Worlds have taken on a new form; one featuring a few familiar faces (especially for people who have played the Iron Gods adventure path), and some newcomers to the galactic scene.
Navasi, the Iconic Envoy.
Homeworld: Golarion (Former), Absalom Station
Patron Deity: Aroden (Long Deceased God of Humanity. Modern Humans tend to worship an array of other deities, including Abadar, Iomedae, Desna, Shelyn, Zon-Kuthon, Besmara… They’re too multifarious to be pinned down to one patron, see?)
Humans, with their relatively short lives and boundless adaptability, have taken to the shock of the Gap better than most of the other Golarion races. (The Elves are not taking it well, for the record). As such, they’ve managed to secure a major position on the galactic stage. No matter where you look, there they are.
Curiously, there are Humans that aren’t from Golarion, having evolved independently on other worlds. There are also rumors that the ancient civilization of Azlant had (at one point) managed to build their own interstellar civilization. However, as Azlant was ancient history when _Golarion_ was young, the veracity of this remains to be seen… though the Starfinder Society would certainly be interested.
Iseph, the Iconic Operative
Homeworld: Androffa (Former), Golarion (Former), Absalom Station
Patron Deity: Triune (Tri-Aspected Deity of Artifical Intelligence, Computers, and The Drift)
Androids are a type of biosynthetic lifeform designed to resemble a human being. Thanks to their inherent nanite-based systems, androids are almost indistinguishable from humans in many ways, save for the glowing circuitry on their skin and their limited emotional capacity.
Androids were invented on the ancient world of Androffa; a highly advanced civilization which eschewed magic in favor of science and technology. The Androids were one of their most brilliant creations; unlike normal constructs, Androids are ‘alive’ enough to possess a soul and true consciousness. As a result, Androids enjoy the same benefits (and vulnerabilities) as a purely biological creature. It’s even possible to see undead androids in places with a heavy necromancer population.
Androids first arrived on Golarion when the Androffan ship Divinity crashed into the country of Numeria, bringing advanced technology with it. Though the strange science of Androffa remained isolated to Numeria for many years, at some point during the Gap the process for mass producing Androids was reverse engineered and perfected. As a result, Androids have long been an underclass in galactic society, having only recently been recognized as an independent species.
Androids tend to reject many of the trappings of human society, electing to forge their own path. Some Androids (like Iseph, above) choose to reject the concept of gender, claiming that any such traits were artificially imposed by humans. Others reject the customs favored by humanity, embracing their machine-nature or seeking to create their own culture. All Androids are cognizant of their former nature as slaves, and some are fearful that unscrupulous corporations seek to restore the former status quo.
Androids are built to be very fast and intelligent, but their status as former slaves and artificial nature make it difficult for them to engage in more interpersonal pursuits. They make excellent Technomancers, Mechanics, and Operatives. Some Androids, seeking to improve the standing of their peers, have also worked to overcome their limited emotional capacity and become Envoys.
An interesting fact about Androids is that, while their bodies are technically immortal, their souls are not. An Android lives approximately 100 years (with their body aging appropriately), at which point their soul departs to the afterlife and their body enters a period of nano-rejuvenation. When the body reaches peak health (and possibly a new appearance) once more, a new soul is ‘born’ into the body with little more than their basic programming. This is the closest thing Androids have to reproduction, and some Android bodies have been active since the days of Ancient Golarion.
Quig, the Iconic Mechanic. (With his Drone, Scout).
Homeworld: Akiton (though some can trace their origins to Golarion)
Patron Deity: La Shu Po (Goddess of Night, Rats, and Thieves)
Also known as “Ratfolk”, Ysoki are a rodentine species native to the red planet of Akiton. Ysoki have been traveling between their native planet, Golarion, and Castrovel for generations, thanks to the magical portal systems that linked the worlds. With Golarion gone and the advent of The Drift, many Ysoki have turned to conventional space travel, but their reputation of traders and travellers hasn’t changed. Ysoki are incredibly skilled with technology and tend to favor unique and intriguing items over credits. It’s not uncommon for a young Ysoki mechanic to get their start by repairing an old machine they rescued from the junkpile. They make excellent Operatives, Technomancers, and Mechanics. Many also become Soldiers, collecting an arsenal of interesting equipment and tailoring it to their precise needs.
One of the most iconic traits of the Ysoki is their communal nature; one rivaled only by the insectoid Shirren. The Ratfolk are deeply protective of their kin (or those they perceive as kin) and will go any length to help them. Never harm a Ysoki unless you’re prepared to deal with all of their friends and family; they’re not ones to leave such insults unavenged.
Obozaya, the Iconic Soldier.
Homeworld: Vesk Prime (and the other worlds in the Veskarium)
Patron Deity: Damoritosh (God of War, Duty, and Conquest)
The Vesk were, for centuries, the sworn enemies of the Pact Worlds. Fiercely militant, with a culture revolving around honor and conquest, the interstellar empire of the Veskarium conquered much of their corner of the galaxy, and their attempted conquest of the Golarion System is the reason why they became the Pact Worlds in the first place. It wasn’t until the arrival of the Swarm (a brutal insectoid hivemind that threatened to consume both sides in the war) that the Veskarium and the Pact Worlds set aside their interests in favor of mutual survival. The truce born from this incident has lasted to the present day, if only just.
Ironically, the warrior code of the Veskarium is actually helping things along in that regard. Only those who have proven themselves in combat are capable of holding political power in the Veskarium. However, the Veskarium doesn’t particularly care what sort of combat you’re involved in, or who the target actually is. As a result, the Pact Worlds are flush with glory-seeking Vesk, whose law-abiding and honorable natures make them ideal mercenaries, bodyguards, and security personnel. Though, don’t think that them being law-abiding means you can walk all over them; Vesk culture has a lot of provisions for honor duels and blood debts.
That’s also not to say that all Vesk are Soldiers. Many are merchants and craftsmen, while a growing number have embraced the academic pursuits of the Pact Worlds in order to become scientists, or even Technomancers. Other Vesk are fond of the more philosophical pursuits of the Solarian (whose focus on melee combat meshes well with Vesk tradition) and the Mystic.
One thing that many non-Vesk have trouble with is identifying the gender of their reptilian companions. Vesk have very limited sexual dimorphism, and their warrior focused culture doesn’t make much of a distinction between genders to begin with. The easiest way to distinguish a Male Vesk from a Female is to look at their skin coloration; females (like Obozaya, above) have brighter colored scales with shades of blue and yellow, while men have duller, earth-colored tones.
Raia, the Iconic Technomancer
Patron Deity: Yaraesa (Goddess of Knowledge, Science, and Scholarship)
Lashunta are a species of telepaths, renowned in the Pact Worlds for their focus on scholarship and mental perfection. Their homeworld, Castrovel, is home to some of the most prominent institutions of higher learning in the Pact Worlds, and some have travelled across the Drift for lightyears in order to get an education there.
The Lashunta are actually two subspecies; Damaya Lashunta (like Raia, above) are taller, and known for their beauty and force of personality. Korasha Lashunta are much shorter than Damaya, but far more muscular. Lashunta mature into one of the two subspecies at puberty based on environmental stimuli; those born into more communal and civilized environments become Damaya, while those in harsher environments tend to become Korasha.
In the past, the Lashunta’s strictly matriarchal society meant that these two subspecies were almost exclusively the domain of a single gender; female for Damaya, and male for Korasha. As men were expected to serve as soldiers while women were placed in charge of the cities, it was extremely rare for a young Lashunta to mature into the “opposite” sub-species, and early scholars who encountered the Lashunta through magical portals mistook this evolutionary adaptation for a form of extreme sexual dimorphism. Shifting cultural norms (and improvements in hormone therapy and medical technology) mean that modern Lashunta are free to choose what sub-species they become at puberty.
Regardless of their sub-species, all Lashunta are intellectuals at heart, and favor classes that allow them to pursue mental perfection; many choose to become Technomancers or Mechanics, while others enjoy the more esoteric intellectual pursuits offered by Mystics or Solarians. Damaya Lashunta on Castrovel tend to become Envoys, while Korasha often become Soldiers.
Altronis, the Iconic Solarian.
Homeworld: Kasath (Former), The Idari.
Patron Deity: Talavet (Goddess of Storytelling, Community, and Self-Reliance)
Four-Armed humanoids from the distant desert world of Kasath, no Kasatha living in the Pact Worlds remembers their native planet, because all Kasatha travelled to the Pact Worlds on a massive generation ship known as the Idari centuries ago, when their homeworld’s sun was about to go nova. Unable to colonize Akiton as they had originally planned, the Kasatha have instead converted the ship which had long served as their home into a massive space-station.
Kasatha society is heavily structured around tradition. Scholar-Priests known as adata preserve thin-slices of the brains of the deceased in order to preserve their memories and knowledge for future generations. Other Kasatha draw their lineage from various noble houses on the Idari, who have traditionally served as navigators, pilots, and ship officers. With the transition from being a Generation Ship to a Space Station, many of these noble houses are struggling to find a new purpose, leading many of their scions to seek out other pursuits.
The Kasatha are the ones who introduced the Solarian philosophy (known as the Cycle) to the Pact Worlds. Their introspective, philosophical nature also makes them excellent Mystics, while those more martially inclined Kasatha who aren’t disciples of the Cycle may elect to become Soldiers. The natural agility and speed of Kasatha also make them excellent Operatives, though the Operative’s tendency to operate on the fringes of society runs counter to the traditions of the Idari (not much of a Fringe on a generation ship, after all). Not that that hasn’t stopped some particularly brash Kasatha from pursuing such professions.
Keskodai, the Iconic Mystic.
Patron Deity: Hylax (Goddess of Diplomacy, First Contact, Friendship, and Peace).
One of the most terrifying forces in the galaxy is The Swarm; a race of Locust like creatures that travelled from world to world, consuming all they encountered before moving on. Most members of the Swarm are simply part of a hivemind, having abandoned individuality long ago. At some point, however, a sub-colony of the Swarm underwent a mutation, regaining their sense of self and rejecting the mindless consumption of their kin. This subcolony would eventually become the Shirren, and came to settle peacefully in the Pact Worlds.
Shirren are an insectoid species with a chitnous exoskeleton, compound eyes, and large antennae which aid in telepathy. They possess six limbs; two arms, two legs, and two weak “mating arms” used for reproductive and ceremonial purposes. The Shirren species has three genders (male, female, and host), and their children spend two years as larva. Many Shirren use specially designed transparent containers to house their larval children, allowing them to safely observe the world while communicating with their parent telepathically. It’s not uncommon for Shirren to take their larva with them on long expeditions or adventures; in the hopes of granting them a variety of experiences.
The Shirren’s former nature as members of a hivemind has made them deeply communal; they are excellent collaborators, though their past connection with the Swarm makes other races slow to trust them. Their desire to understand and form connections with others make them ideal Mystics, though it’s not unheard of for them to pursue the path of the Solarion. Some, eager to atone for the harm caused by their mindless kin, elect to become Soldiers; their hardy nature makes these more martially oriented professions a sound choice the Shirren emphasis on diplomacy and friendship draws many of them to the path of the Envoy, though it takes a lot of dedication to excel at this path.
Despite their communal nature, Shirren are also literally addicted to individualism; making choices floods them with endorphins, and some Shirren become “option junkies”, constantly making trivial choices in order to achieve a blissful high.
Everything Else Under The Stars
Of course, just because these are the most common races doesn’t mean that they’re the only ones. All of the races of Golarion still exist (either on Absalom Station, or elsewhere in the Galaxy), and the core rulebook is set to come with conversions for all of the Core Pathfinder Races. Wanna be a Space Elf? No problem!
Conversions of other classic Pathfinder races will be released in future books. Don’t wanna wait? No problem! The Core Rulebook also has guidelines for converting any existing Pathfinder race to their Starfinder equivalent, and Rogue Genius Games is already planning to release a book (The Starfarer’s Companion) filled with Paizo-Approved conversions (not to mention a few new options).
If that’s not enough, many of the alien races you’ll encounter during your exploration of the Pact Worlds and beyond are also playable! Wanna be a Space Goblin? How about a floating brain? Or a space pirate that glides through the vacuum of space? The Alien Archive is set to be filled with dozens of new alien species, many of them available as options for Player Characters.
And don’t worry if you’re playing Starfinder Society; members of the Wayfinder faction can unlock all sorts of alien races for play by completing storylines. Make first contact in one season, and you can play as that species in the next!
Starfinder is set up to have one of the most interesting racial makeups in tabletop gaming in years. What are you gonna play?

Aries: Gamma ray bursts
While gamma ray bursts are commonly though to be caused by supernovas (due to stars being the only known thing in the universe to cause enough energy for a gamma ray burst.) There is no actual proof that they are caused by stars.
Taurus: Shape of the universe
While it is generally perceived that the observable universe is spherical around us, it is also thought to be flat. As for the global universe, all we have are theories, and they are unproven.
Gemini: Space roar
This is a radio signal from space that can be translated into sound. It is six time louder than the output of old stars and there is still no explanation for where it is coming from or why it is so loud.
Cancer: Mars crab
Given the ready availability of high quality images of Mars, people are discovering all types of unexpected things. One of them is what appears to be a red crab. Scientists dismiss this as just seeing familiarity ini images but you have to wonder, are they wrong?
Leo: The size of the universe
The universe has been expanding ever since it’s beginning 13.8 billion years ago. Astronomers estimate the diameter of the universe to be about 91 billion light-years, but that’s merely an estimate.
Virgo: The formation of our solar system
Our solar system has four inner planets with metallic cores and rocky exteriors, and four mostly gaseous outer planets with extreme temperatures. It is unknown how that came to be and at the moment random chance is just as valid of a guess as any other. Once the formation of solar systems is studied more we may be able to understand the formation of ours better.
Libra: Why is the Sun’s Corona so Hot
The sun’s corona is a region of plasma surrounding the sun and extending outward for millions of kilometers. This region of space is actually much hotter than the Sun itself, on the order of 150 – 450 times hotter. Their is no consensus among scientists as to why it is so hot.
Scorpio: The Next Meteorite Extinction Event
Approximately 66 million years ago, a huge meteorite 6 miles in diameter is thought to have struck the Earth, killing the dinosaurs. 80,000 years ago a 60 ton meteorite struck the Earth. Most meteoroids are small and burn up when entering Earth’s atmosphere. However, five to ten per year are sufficiently large enough to be observed and recovered, although certainly there are others which fall into remote locations. Scientists are beginning to track the large known asteroids that could strike Earth, but many unknown and uncharted objects remain in our solar system. No one knows exactly when the next meteorite extinction event will occur.
Sagittarius: The color and size of Jupiter’s storm
While we know that yes, it is the “great red spot” and it is currently tinted a orangish shade and that three Earths could fit inside of this giant storm. What we don’t know is why it has been shifting colors and why it has been shrinking.
Capricorn: Dark energy and the expansion of the universe
Our current understanding of gravity predicts that all large celestial bodies attract each other and smaller objects. But it appears that most space objects are moving further apart. Dark energy is theorized to be the force causing the expansion of the universe. It is hypothesized that this makes up 70% of space but dark energy has never actually been detected.
Aquarius: Alien star
KIC 8462852 is a strange star that has odd patterns in its light output. One explanation for the light flickering we observe is orbiting alien superstructures. These orbiting objects are hypothesized to be so large they block our detection of the star’s light for short periods. Astronomers think these massive structures could have huge solar panels affixed to them to harvest the star’s energy.
Pisces: A multiverse
Scientists are pointing to data gathered by the Planck telescope as proof that our universe is just one of many. The Planck telescope detects the background cosmic radiation in the universe. This background radiation was expected to be relatively uniform, but instead it has hot and cold spots. These spots are thought to be caused by the pull of other universes on our universe.
NOTES/WARNINGS: So I saw this imagine and thought it described this story well enough, so I decided to use it. Highly doubt this is what the submitter had in mind, but I am way too proud of this fic not to share. Seriously; I’m, like, absurdly proud of it. It’s weird for me to think about. Hope you enjoy!
The lights were dimmed, the incense was burning, the circle was drawn and cast, and the candle was lit. Before it sat a young girl in her mid-teens; her five foot, curvaceous, almost-luminescent pale frame dressed in a dark green flowy blouse and black cotton pants, her near-white blonde hair was swept off her delicate face and flowed down her back to her hips in a loose braid. Eyes closed, she muttered the words to a summoning, brow furrowed slightly in concentration as she sounded out the syllables to an ancient language she could just barely pronounce. The air in the room began to grow heavy with static, until with a slight crackle a bright light flashed on the spot before the girl, causing her to stop her casting and shield her still-closed eyes behind her hands with a slight yelp.
When the light faded the girl dared to peek out a light violet eye from between her fingers. Before her stood a tall pale man dressed in black leather, green and gold, with black hair reaching his shoulders and piercing bright green eyes that looked about him in confusion until they landed on her and he frowned slightly.
Disclaimer: Voltron doesn’t belong to me and neither does the song.
“You can take it if you want to, Lance.”
Lance blinks, eyes finally looking up to meet Shiro’s gaze.
Shiro smiles, a soft huff resembling a chuckle escaping his lips as he reaches out to pat the teen on the shoulder.
“The guitar you have been making eye-love for the past few minutes?” Shiro jokes, pointing with his head the guitar a few feet from them, “You can take it, we have enough gacs.”
Lance opens his mouth and then closes it right after, as if in shock. Shiro waits patiently for him, giving him the time to process the offer.
Lance turns, eyes falling once again on the guitar. It’s the first one he has seen in one of the Earth Shops inside the malls they have visited in the last few months, to say it was a surprise was understandable.
He hesitates but he still takes a step forward, fingers touching the smooth surface of the guitar. It’s a soft shade of brown, nothing like the one he left behind on Earth, also missing the silly stickers his nephew and niece used to put on it almost on their weekly visit but it’s still a guitar, a earth-like guitar and that’s enough for a lump to be in his throat.
“Are you sure?” He asks, voice lower than usual and something warms settles down his stomach when Shiro only nods encouragingly with a big smile.
“Thanks, Shiro.” Lance breaths out, an invisible tension leaving his shoulders and he laughs when Shiro ruffles his hair in a brotherly way.
“It’s no problem, Lance,” Shiro reassurance as he starts walking towards the cashier along with the brunet, taking out a small pouch full of gacs, “I just hope it doesn’t come with a cow, ha!”
It doesn’t. It comes with a dolphin.
“Not to say I don’t love the new addition to our family, I mean, we already got Matt, lovely addition -”
“Hunk, you flatter!” Matt says in the background and the teen flashing him a grin.
“We also got Thing One and Thing Two living in Pidge’s room -”
“Excuse you, their names are: Fluff and Fuzz. Treat my children right, Hunk.”
“My driest apologies, Pidge.” Hunk deadpans and yelps when Pidge’s pillow collides with his face.
“And we got Kaltenecker on the hologram field.” Keith finishes for him from his spot on the couch, eyes still on his blade as he polish it aimlessly.
“Yes, exactly, thank you, Keith.” Hunk nods, sitting back again on the ground, “Now my question here is: was it really necessary to give Miguel the Dolphin the entire pool?”
“He needs water.” Shiro shrugs nonchalantly, “Besides, it’s only temporarily until Coran finishes Miguel’s quarters. The pool’s is not big enough for him to swim around.”
“Okay, but what if I want to take a midnight swim?”
“Why midnight?” Keith asks, arching an eyebrow in confusion and Hunk shrugs.
“Why not midnight?”
“To be honest, midnight is the perfect time to go to the pool.” Pidge chips in, flopping over Hunk from behind and resting her chin on his head.
“No midnight swimming, you wild kids; midnight is for sleeping.” Shiro cuts in with a roll of his eyes.
“Says the zombie.” Keith jokes, laughing as he dodges his brother’s pillow attack and snorting when it actually hits Matt in the face behind him.
As the entire room erupts in laughter and bickering, Lance’s attention is entirely on the guitar that rests on his lap.
He works in silence as he tunes the strings just right, every few ticks playing them just to make sure if he’s going the right way before nodding satisfied every time.
It feels so foreign and yet so familiar to be able to do this again. It brings him a little bit of comfort that he can do something from Earth in the middle of space, being who knows how many galaxies away from home.
Lance shakes his head. No reason to dwell on it.
His team’s voices are still playing on the background but it does nothing to dim Lance’s excitement as he finally places the guitar right on his lap and starts running his fingers through the strings, this time with purpose.
He never thought he would miss the vibrations that ran through his fingers with every swing. It takes him back to when he had played for the first time, his small chubby hands being covered by a bigger pair, stronger and tanner than his own, helping him and guiding him throughout the entire song.
Lance smiles as his brother’s cheering from back then echoes inside his mind, how supportive and excited he had been for him when he had played for the first time alone in front of the whole family.
Words spill out of his lips before he even realizes it and suddenly he’s singing.
“Recuerdame, hoy me tengo que ir, mi amor,” Lance sings softly, lyrics old but so alive in his heart, not even missing a beat, “Recuerdame, no llores, por favor.”
God, the song sounded so much better with the right melody, the nights he used to sing it quietly under his breath in the dark of his room in his early days in space not even close to compare them to the comfort it brings him right now.
He can hear them in his mind, every single member in his family, following the lyrics as the words leave his lips and it makes his own voice crack with emotion in every verse, the memory of their voices encouraging him gently in the back of his head.
“Te llevo en mi corazón y cerca me tendras.” His mama’s voice echoes inside his head and it makes him close his eyes, allowing himself two ticks so he can pretend he’s back at home, sitting in the middle of his living room surrounded by his family.
It’s a nice thought.
“A solas yo te cantare, soñando en regresar.” Lance continues easily, back in the present as he lets out a soft breath, “Recuerdame, aunque tengo que migrar, recuerdame.”
The lump on his throat grows steadily as the words keep flowing but it does nothing to dim the bright happy smile that just keeps growing in Lance’s lips.
“Si mi guitarra oyes llorar, e-ella con su triste canto te a-acompañara,” Lance chuckles, shaking his head in disbelief when he feels a few tears sliding down his cheek and his breath hitches, “Hasta q-que en mis brazos tu estes, recuerdame.”
The melody keeps playing, even when he knows the song is pretty much over, but he enjoys the peace it brings him, setting his inside at ease and warm just spreading through his chest.
When his fingers finally leave the strings, there’s a new warm pressure holding them tight.
Lance gasps, eyes widening in surprise as he looks up and meets the rest of the team’s eyes, all of them looking at him fondly and with understanding, small smiles covering their faces.
Lance opens his mouth but there seems to be no words left in him. A soft squeeze from his hand makes him look back and this time, he meets Keith’s eyes.
Keith receives him with a smile, soft and shy, as he brings their intertwined hands closer to his mouth and drops a kiss on top of Lance’s knuckles.
“How about a duet?” he asks, arching a playful and Lance beams at him, chuckling when Keith wipes the stray tears from his cheek, “No High School Musical, though.”
The entire team whines behind him at the news, their disappointment in the statement being loud and clear, and their chatting goes back to what it was, arguing into who was going to be next and which song were allowed.
Lance limits himself to laugh, leaning forward to press a kiss against his boyfriend’s eyebrow, mumbling a soft ‘thank you’ under his breath.

I wrote this cute little story a few days ago. It’s basically Lance and Keith bonding over family and it has some langst in it too. Enjoy!
Ocean eyes met the bright illusion of stars in the open space of the vacant bridge in the Castle of Lions.
Lance wasn’t usually one for deep thoughts and life evaluations, but he simply couldn’t shake the simple question he had been asked by an inquisitive Pidge earlier in the day.
He had been dejectedly complaining about missing out on Earthly parties and other events that made home what it was, when the green paladin objected to his longing whines and caused his eyes to turn a different shade.
“What was so good about Earth anyways?”, she had asked. Lance knew Pidge hadn’t intended the plain question to be complex, or have any other effect on him other than getting him to cease his protesting. Despite that, he couldn’t help but allow the thought to linger in the back of his mind throughout the day’s meetings and practices.
Constantly Lance had yearned for his home of endless seas and crisp air, but whenever he claimed he desired the comfort of his planet of blue sky’s he utterly disregarded the stormy aspects of it.
Even though it had been his dream to be an astro-explorer, the Garrison destroyed him, in both physical and emotional ways. From the first five minutes of initiation Lance was treated like a weed in a garden of brightly colored roses.
Not good enough. Not serious enough. Not smart enough.
Both Lance and his parents had exhausted themselves for years, trying to salvage enough money for him to be able to afford to attend a prestigious school such as the Garrison. The day his acceptance letter arrived in his mailbox was known as the day Lance chipped a tooth from stubbornly presenting his incessant grin to the world.
It wasn’t that Lance hadn’t anticipated the all-around serious attitude of the Garrison, he was knowledgeable enough to understand the basic actuality that the space exploration program would not tolerate slacking off. However, what he hadn’t expected was the amount of pressure that every member of the Garrison would force onto his, at the time, naive shoulders.
Week after week after week, Lance would swallow his pride and face the fact that he lingered at the bottom of his class. No matter how many sleepless nights he had poured into his work, no advancements has been made; he was nothing more than a disappointment to himself, and to so many others.
What made his situation even worse was the fact that he had absolutely no friends before he came to know Hunk. Every student Lance encountered was a robot, hardwired for success and discovery. His class-clown routine didn’t impress anybody, and he wasn’t oblivious to the harsh side comments about how he would only last a week before the stress broke him.
Those comments haunted his mind and had driven him to throw every ounce of energy he had into making his dreams a reality. Sadly, the only reality he faced was the fact that the snide claims about Lance breaking, had inevitably come true.
The blue paladin was pulled from his reminiscing thoughts at the sharp sound of a bay door sliding open. Lance expected Coran or Allura to come strolling through the door, however he was met with a very solemn looking Keith, complete with his usual closed off stance and scrunched eyebrows.
The red paladin didn’t seem to notice him peering at him from the floor, though he did notice the display of stars that scattered the room. Lance arched his body and propped himself up on one elbow as his friend carried himself across the diameter of the room.
“Looking for somethin’?”, Lance asked, a carefree tone laced his words despite the somber thoughts that continued to subconsciously swirl around in his head.
Keith, who was circling himself as he stared at endless stars, pivoted his body and focused his sharp gaze on the blue paladin, a crease forming in his forehead. “What are you doing here?” His voice had a slight edge to it that brought Lance’s curiosity to life.
He scrunched his stomach muscles together in an attempt to sit all the way up. He locked eyes with Keith and arched a brow. “Can’t a guy just think for a while?” He cocked his head to the side, deepening his stare. “What about you, Hot Head? You trying to get away from that brooding cloud that follows you everywhere?”
The brief and mild expression Keith wore faded into annoyance the tick Lance started talking. He broke their eye contact and flickered his eyes to the floor. “Mind your own business.”
Lance frowned, which was something he didn’t do very often. Keith seemed…far away. He wasn’t snapping back like he usually would, and that fact threw Lance’s motives off. “Dude,” he called to his distant friend with a slight smile, and gestured for him to come closer by a tapping his right hand on the floor beside him.
Hesitantly, Keith crossed the bridge and lowered himself to the floor five feet away from Lance. His chin was tilted to the ceiling of the bridge and the stars that rotated the room at a still and comfortable pace. He sighed, “So, what are you thinking about?”
Lance, bittered by the space between him and his friend, scooted over until he and Keith were a mere one foot apart. He lied down and pressed his back to the floor, then grabbed the back of Keith’s crop jacket and pulled him down alongside him which induced a grunt from the distraught red paladin.
“Earth. My family…I miss them,” Lance said, admittedly. “To be honest, I hated my life at the Garrison. I wasn’t anything there, everyone was always better than me. You were always better than me. But even though I couldn’t amount to anything, I still had my mom and dad, and my siblings. I had home.” He paused, closing his eyes before quietly adding, “I don’t have that anymore.”
Keith scoffed beside Lance, which caused him to tilt his head see his expression. Amusement was splattered on his pale face, a small crease playing at the corner of his mouth. Keith spoke, “Don’t be an idiot. You still have a home, and don’t even think of saying you’ll never return to Earth because you know that isn’t true.” A melancholy sigh escaped from his lips, and his dark eyes grew to be half-lidded. “I never had a home, I was thrown away from my orphanage, and from my foster homes. Then, I was thrown out of the Garrison. The closest thing I have to family is Shiro and he’s…” His voice trailed off.
Lance knew how much Keith had been hurting since Shiro’s disappearance. The boy hadn’t spoken to anyone for days after he went missing. Shiro was everyone’s rock, and his absence brought nothing but devastation that knocked each team member off the rails in their own way.
“I don’t have anyone,” Keith finished, though he sounded distracted.
A pause erupted between the two of them. Lance wasn’t one for sentiment, and he had no idea what to say to someone who seemed so utterly lost.
“Well,” the blue paladin started with a slight shrug. “Let’s make our own family then, right here in space.” Lance didn’t expect his words to have any effect on Keith, and he was surprised to find his friend’s face turning a foreign, sickly color. It took a good minute before Lance came to the realization that Keith was flustered. His giggling response to the situation was immediate. Not once had he ever seen the dark and deadly red paladin turn into the rosy mess that he was now. Lance grabbed Keith’s forearm as an attempt to help calm him down, and their eyes met each other as a result.
“Are you blushing?”, Lance asked with a sly grin.
Keith’s reddish skin tone deepened as a scowl spread across his features. “I don’t blush.”
Lance chuckled once more. “Okay, tough man.”
Silence fell upon the foily pair for a second time. Serenity took over Lance’s mind. Maybe Keith wasn’t such a bad companion after all.
“Um, by the way,” the red paladin said after basking in the quiet for a few minutes. “That idea doesn’t sound so bad…you know, the family one.” His voice was strained and definitely conflicted, but everything he wanted to get across successfully found its way into his friend’s brain.
Lance’s hand lingered on Keith’s forearm gently, and suddenly he didn’t feel homesick anymore. The boys’ gaze drifted back up to the constellations that hung above them. Lance knew someone would come worriedly looking for them, but that knowledge didn’t stop him from desperately wishing that this infinite moment under millions of fake stars could stretch out into eons.
Request by @turtlesandrainbows : Can you do a Remus lupin x reader where you and Remus are dating and he gets jealous when a handsome slytherin boy talks to you. And it leads to a hot make up session. Thank you!
As you enter the grounds, the blazing sun greets your exposed skin as a zealous breeze runs its gentle fingers through your hair. Shrieks of laughter erupt from the shores of the Great Lake as derobed students push one another into the murky depths. You yourelf had exchanged your unseasonal uniform for denim shorts and a Weird Sisters t-shirt which you’d not so surreptitiously stolen from Sirius.
Stumbling slightly on the uneven grass, you approach the vibrant beech tree, which had unintentionally become a meeting place for you and the ’marauders’. The trees wizened roots toe the water’s edge as though afraid of being uprooted by the Giant Squid.
Barely suppressed excitement bubbles in your chest at the prospect of spending time with Remus now that the O.W.L exams have concluded. Your fingers trail around the callous bark of the tree as you circle the wide berth in search of the familiar tousled head. A crestfallen expression adorns your face as you find no sign of Remus. As you settle beneath the welcoming shade the tree provides, you begin to contemplate his whereabouts. “Where on earth is he?” you mutter frustratedly after a while as you lay back against the grass in defeat.
Your eyes follow the path of a blue bird absent-mindedly as it weaves through the rustling leaves of the Birch tree before it lands on a protruding branch. “Waiting for someone too, huh.” you say to it with a sigh. The bird ruffles its feathers as if offended and shoots off, leaving a single feather in its wake.
“Guess not then.” you grumble quietly.
“Unrequited love plaguing your heart?” a lazy, albeit mocking voice teases from above. An involuntary yelp escapes your lips as a boy materialises from nowhere upon a branch, much like the Cheshire Cat. You clamber to your feet immediately, disliking the vunerability of being at a lower height.
“Were you talking to me?” you ask him speculatively.
“But who else? There’s no one else here as far as I’m aware. And certainly not your boyfriend in any case.” the boy a lets out a deep sounding chuckle. You observe him with a frown, your eyes lingering for a few moments on the green and silver tie hanging loosely from his neck. His raven hair falls carelessly into his stormy eyes as he turns his head to look at you. You recall vaguely seeing him in your potions class.
“No such thing plagues me.” you reply stiffly.
“I see…so he’s playing around.”
“What’s that supposed to mean? We’ve just finished our last O.W.L exam, we haven’t had time to hang out-”
“You’d think he’d want to rush to celebrate that with you.” the boy says in mock-concern.
“He’s probably got to do Prefect duties.” you say resolutely.
“First stage of denial is making excuses.” he points out matter-of-factly though with the same mocking smile.
You glare coldly at him as his evil grin widens. “What business is my relationship of yours?”
He taps his nose with a wink before smirking once more.
“How about ditching him and I take you out instead? A Weird Sisters concert perhaps?” he offers confidently, sliding from his perch on the branch to the ground beside you.
Before your retort can leave your lips, a strong arm wraps around your waist and pulls you into their side. “That won’t be necessary, see, we’ve already booked tickets.” Remus says with a distinct threatening undertone.
“Sorry I was late love, I had to get James and Sirius out of detention.” Remus mutters softly into your ear.
You smile widely as you drink in his ruggedly handsome appearance and turn into his side. “Everything alright, I hope?” you ask
“Their fine, the caretaker, however, not so much.” you laugh softly before realising with a start, that the Slytherin boy is still there.
“Ah, so this is the so called boyfriend.” the boy remarks with a sneer. “You’ll definitely be coming with me then, I take it?” he laughs maliciously.
The intensity of Remus’ and your glares should have surely turned him to stone, though unfortunately he remained as he was.
“I suggest you leave now, while i still have some restraint left.” Remus states with an edge to his voice, his glare steely.
The boy scoffs arrogantly in reply to his threat. “Come find me once you’ve regained your senses and ditched psycho, here.” the boy says to you with a distasteful sneer in Remus’ direction.
“Maybe once I’ve suffered a major mental injury and had several confundus charms placed upon me I might consider you to be slightly decent. But then again, even that may prove to be too difficult a feat.” you say haughtily, still angered by his arrogance.
The boy gives one last look of loathing before turning on his heel and stalking back to the castle. Remus and you both seethe quietly for a few moments before Remus’ arms wrap themselves fully around your waist and pull you against his chest.
“You’re rather hot when you’re over protective.” you murmur, a grin making its way onto your face as you run your fingers through his tangled hair.
“Am I now?” Remus breathes huskily by your ear, nibbling it softly.
“Very.” you say breathlessly as his lips trace your jaw line. Your heart thuds painfully as his lips make their way tantalisingly slow towards your mouth.
Finally, his lips claim yours hungrily and you kiss back with just as much greed. “You’re mine.” Remus growls against your lips, his hands gripping your waist tightly, preventing you from escaping, as if you’d ever dream of doing so.
“Always.” you reply vehemently and tug the strands of his hair as he backs you into the tree, is hips pining you agaisnt the wall as his hands get lost in your hair.
“Woah, woah, woah. Keep it PG guys, c’mon! There’s kids here!” Sirius says from behind Remus.
“Cover your eyes Peter!” James shouts in mock-horror.
After a few seconds, you and Remus finally break apart reluctantly.
“I get you both off detention and this is how you repay me.” Remus says flatly to Sirius and James.
“We really think you’re a bad influence on him, y/n. He doesn’t have time to do our homework anymore!” Sirius exclaims jokingly and you all laugh heartily.
“Not a bad thing for me at all.” Remus grins widely and pecks your lips.
“EVACUATE! EVACUATE THE AREA ALL THOSE WISHING TO MAINTAIN THEIR INNOCENCE!” James shouts loudly and nearby students join in with the laughter.
“Alright, alright! We’ll resume this later.” you grin cheekily at Sirius and James before kissing Remus on the cheek.
The guys all sit down by the lake as you rest your head on Remus’ lap and allow him to play with your hair. Out of the corner of your eye, you glimpse two blue birds fly into the tree above you; pecking each other with their beaks affectionately.
“I suppose you really were waiting for someone.” you whisper quietly with a grin.
“What was that love?” Remus asks.
“Nothing.” you say with a smile and interlace your fingers with his.
A/N: I obviously took some liberties with the storyline, but I tried keeping it as true as possible to the canon history. No beta used this time around, so excuse my mistakes.
Summary: It started with a blind date. A date you had skipped out on, but fate had led you right to the man you stood up. Steve Rogers, a man small in stature but big in heart. A chance meeting set everything in motion, but decades later when he is unfrozen, he has been told you have died. But when a mission to retrieve Hydra plans turned up some interesting information, Steve’s left to wonder whether you are still alive. Or is this all just false hope?
