Ripe dark fruit syrup of blackberries and black cherries on the nose with a dusting of black pepper, a whiff of raw meat, and a bit of earth. Ripe, ripe, ripe blackberries, dark cherries, maybe even some cassis on the palate with peppery notes. Full-bodied with medium tannins and nice fresh acidity to balance the ripeness and alcohol. Scrumptious.
