FROM SFMOMA’S PRESS ROOM:

We are pleased to announce our upcoming exhibition Flesh and Metal: Body and Machine in Early 20th-Century Arton view November 13, 2013–March 16, 2014. Co-organized by SFMOMA and the Cantor Arts Center at Stanford University, the exhibition includes a rich group of paintings, sculptures, photographs, drawings, prints, and illustrated books from the collection of SFMOMA. Taken together, the works offer a fresh view of how artists produced a wide range of imagery responding to the complexity of modern experience. Stay tuned for more info!
