My love affair with Smith autos has been on and off over the years, But I’ve always had a soft spot for the “3rd gen” auto pistols. Made of steel and not plastic they do have some weight and bulk, but they are a joy to shoot. Most of these are LEO trade-ins since the popularity of polymer over steel, so they are generally on the cheap side(under $400), “Collector” quality pieces will fetch a bit more however.
If you ever run across one, I suggest trying one out.
The PAP M92 pistol chambered in 7.62x39 is a pistol version of the Zastava M92 carbine. I purchased this at a fairly reasonable price a few weeks ago and haven’t quite decided whether I want to SBR or keep a pistol but try one of those Stabilizing Braces.
The Ruger Mk1 standard. This is my recent purchase, and as seen it’s nothing fancy but I am a fan of Ruger firearms so when I seen her I had to have her. Also according to the serial number I believe it to be a 1971 so, she’s a little old but still beautiful to me. Hahaha.
