servant of hate

It was an honour they told you, an honour for the king to look upon you with adoration, to be the only thing the monster thought worthy enough to leave unbruised and unbroken. It sure didn’t feel like an honour.

You hated everything in Kings Landing. You hated Joffrey, the great sea, stifling heat and troublesome servants. You hated the dresses and the way people bowed to you, you hated how short and stubby the trees were and you hated Jojen for vanishing without a word.

You knew it was rare, to be allowed to marry someone you loved but for the sake of your mother’s dying wish your father had allowed it. But when Jojen and Meera vanished one night without a word you were quickly taken back, Cerci convincing your father that he’d been dishonoured and that a girl of such fine beauty should be married to the king.

“(Y/N) … I will not be ignored!” Joffrey complained when you didn’t turn to look at him.

this old lady comes up to the gas station kiosk and asks me to pump her gas for her. Uh... it's a self serve?? Seriously?? Thinking she couldn't lift it the nozzle or smth I go out to help, but actually she says "I just don't like getting gas on my hands" in the snottiest way possible. !!!! I am not your servant, ma'am. "I hate to be a bother-" she says, but really. She loves it. Inconveniencing other customers, myself. As long as she doesn't get gas on her hands.

Imagine your and Draco’s children finding out you had been servants of Voldemort.

“I hate you!”

You winced as you listened to your son shout at his father. Scorpius was crying, tears streaking his pale cheeks as he glared up at Draco, his face twisted with anger.

“All the other kids hate us for what you did!”

“Scorpius-” your husband tried to explain but the boy wasn’t having any of it.

“You have no idea what they do to me because of you! They hate me and call me names and hit me and-”

You cut your son off by wrapping your arms around him. He struggled at first, trying to squirm out of your grip and lashing out with his fists but you held firm. Draco moved to join you and the two of you held Scorpius in a tight hug, not speaking a word as he cried.

At last, your son calmed and peered up at you with puffy red eyes, “How could you? How could you help him?”

You hung your head, wiping away a few stray tears of your own, “We made a mistake, Scorpius. A very bad mistake, one that we’ve spent our lives trying to repay.” You could sense Draco watching you with sorrowful eyes and you continued carefully, “We were young at the time. Not much of an excuse, really. We weren’t too young to understand. We were terribly scared. We did what our families told us because we were too scared to do otherwise.” You brushed your fingers through your son’s hair, pushing it back from his tear-stained face gently. “I’m so sorry, Scorpius. I’m so very sorry.”

Andy was angry. Understandably so. She was angry at everyone and anything to come into her path. She hated her new home and her new servants, she hated that she was so far away from everyone and everything she’d ever known but most of all she hated Stella. Every time she walked into the room Andy would do her best to exit in a timely fashion. She didn’t like to be around her and she certainly didn’t want to hear a thing she had to say. Their wedding was all anybody could talk about, the stupid maids whispered as they got her ready, she overheard the staff talking about all the preparations, but she preferred to stay out of it, clinging to the fact that it was still a ways away. Like always she had locked herself away in her room, so she was more than a little put off when her sulking was interrupted by a few of her hand maidens, claiming that Stella had instructed them to get her ready for of course some super secret event that only she knew about. While she knew it wasn’t there fault she took out her anger on the girl’s as they dressed her, complaining the entire time. Once they had finished she followed them as they led her to the front of the castle where they promptly abandoned her as soon as Stella came into view and she frowned as she noticed her, eyes scanning the scene quickly. “Where are we going?” she asked impatiently, arms crossed over her chest as she noticed the horses lined up next to the carriage.

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

Allah (mighty and sublime be He) said: Whosoever shows enmity to someone devoted to Me, I shall be at war with him. My servant draws not near to Me with anything more loved by Me than the religious duties I have enjoined upon him, and My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory works so that I shall love him. When I love him I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him, and were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant him it. I do not hesitate about anything as much as I hesitate about [seizing] the soul of My faithful servant: he hates death and I hate hurting him.
