Most depressing film ever seen? I mean, aside from the popular answers ppl would give (like "Bambi" or something).

I don’t typically watch depressing films, or more specifically, most films that people found depressing I generally don’t; just as most films that people found disturbing, usually won’t faze me (“Se7en” did nothing for me).

So I can only give you one of the most depressing films I’ve seen in the recent years, it’s probably not the most depressing but that’s the one that stood out for me.  "El Orfanato", it’s a Spanish film that is directed by Juan Antonio Bayona, written by Sergio G. Sanchez, and starring Belen Rueda, Fernando Cayo, and Roger Princep.  Great story with supernatural elements with excellent acting and storytelling.  Go watch it.
