serendipitous moments

Look at the back of the chair! It says “CAS”! Set next to a table with many beautiful blue hues! Why “CAS”? I dunno.

I went along with my Mom and Lil Sis on an errand today (my first city outing in months), and was lastly met by this sight right at the end of our trip.

I am exhausted and probably will need days to recover from this, but I just felt rewarded for making it outside today (and thanks to @sille1992 commissioning me, I got to buy a little something! Thanks a million, Silvia❤︎) and wanted to share this serendipitous moment with you :)

In real life we have a hard time recognizing serendipitous moments because we’re not making the story up as we go along. It’s not a lie—it’s really happening to us, and we have no idea how it will end. Some of us will look back on our lives and recall events that were a bit too perfect, but until you know the whole story, it’s impossible to see the universe at work, or even admit that there is something bigger than us, making sure everything that should happen does happen. If you can surrender to the idea that there might be a plan, instead of reducing every magical moment to a coincidence, then love will find you.

The First and (Hopefully, Not) Last Time (for the author meme. 3, 4, and 11? or just one of them, that's fine, too :D)

Ahh! My first ask about one of my smut fics. >.>

The First and (Hopefully, Not) Last Time is part of my Dirty 30 series that I’ll be continuing soonish… Fenris x f!Hawke (rogue) x Anders

3: What’s your favorite line of narration?

She wants to laugh at this serendipitous moment, but instead she feels the warmth of tears running down her face as she realizes this is just one more thing she’s found out too late.

This biggest thing I was trying to convey was that Hawke feels like there is a very real chance that she’s never going to come back after that night. This comes right after finding out that Fenris’ marking lighting up (which don’t affect her as a rogue) have a unique effect on Anders. She worried through the whole night when it couldn’t have been more perfect…but instead she’s upset that she doesn’t have more time.

4: What’s your favorite line of dialogue?

It’s not very dialogue heavy.. a lot of my fics aren’t but especially this one. (I’ve said this in other asks.. I just feel I’m terrible at it) but this small exchange was my favorite when Hawke gets caught in her shirt while trying to strip down:

“‘m a good rogue,” she mumbles before hiding her face in his chest. Her arms wrap around his waist. He’s finally filled out since Kirkwall, thank the Maker.

This time he can’t help himself. She feels the laugh more than hears it. “I know love, but let me help you.”

11: What do you like best about this fic?

I LIKE THAT IT’S STILL SAD BECAUSE ANGST. It’s my default setting. I’m happy with it because I think I did ok with littering throughout that 1. Hawke can’t shake that this may literally be the only time this happens and 2. Anders and Fenris thinking that she’s just nervous and worried that she’s being selfish about wanting them both together with her.  I hope that it came across to the readers too :3

Thank you Nonny <3

Put a Fic Title in my Ask + Ask Questions About It

I'm sorry but I just had to share it somewhere: when I'm saving gifs, I usually just literally smash my palms on a keyboard so gifs usually end up being named "fgasdjfyfwer" or something... I was saving gif of BTS legs and I did the same thing, smashing my hands on a keyboard but then I looked at the gif's name (after smashing) and I my smashing saved it as "vagsnuff"... I don't even know anything anymore.

oMFG AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA THAT IS THE BEST THING EVER
