Okay so, quick Queen Bee appreciation sketch based on @skaylanphear ’s descrption of her on Serendipitious Fate ( amazing fanfic btw ,just, go read it, now 🙈🐱) because we all sold our soul to Thomas A. 🐢🐞
Alright. I FINALLY DID IT.
I know I’m late but I really wanted to do something for @skaylanphear fic, Serendipitous Fate.
I feel like I’m late xD But I kinda was scared to post this so ;_; I tried at least, maybe she’ll see it and like it ^^
About a month ago, I found out that a gang of construction workers would be replacing cables in the neighbourhood I live in. My first reaction was utter horror. I’m a late riser, and I dont like anyone fucking with my beauty sleep.
As they gradually approached my street with their heavy machinery, day by day, I started to notice my dreams became more vivid - lucid, if you will.
I’ve read a bit about lucid dreaming some years ago, but it seemed like dangerous territory. As someone who once had a temporary cannabis psychosis from meditating stoned, where dreams and reality melted together for 6 months straight, I didn’t feel like going too deep. The risk seemed too big, and I never explored it further.
Without getting too scientific, lucid dreaming, is a state where you have more control over your dreams than normally, they also have a more realistic feel to them.
A common way for people to explore this world purposely, is to sit on a chair when tired, with a coin in one hand. When they fall asleep, the coin drops and hits the floor, which wakes them just a little bit, enough to enter a lucid dream state.
As I’ve stumbled upon this phenomenon serendipitiously now, I feel very lucky. Dreams to me, is the mythology of the unconscious. I look forward to exploring this realm further.
The construction workers can stay as long as they want.
