As is pointed out in the linked essay, in almost all Pixar movies, sentient non-human protagonists (uplifted animals, robots, other species…) team up with humans to together accomplish something that each group couldn’t accomplish alone. A generation of humans is being prepared to peaceably and productively co-exist with non-human intelligences.
