Buddy is spitting out the straight truth right now on Twitter. I am so proud to call Senses Fail my favorite band, they’re using their stage time as a platform to talk about the real issues in between playing their music. Not only do more bands need to stand up and speak out, we, as fans, need to do the same. If you hear a band on stage talking about these issues, don’t walk away because you think they’re preaching and that they should shut up and play their music. Stay and listen to become more educated because we can make a difference as a whole in the music scene.
CAPSIZE ANNOUNCES NEW US AND EUROPEAN HEADLINE DATES
EU/UK TOUR SUPPORTING COUNTERPARTS AND SENSES FAIL TO KICK OFF SEPTEMBER 25
US TOUR WITH SILVERSTEIN AND SENSES FAIL NOVEMBER 18 – DECEMBER 19
San Diego, CA’s Capsize will head out on a massive run of Fall and Winter tour dates, which will all kick off on September 25 in Paris, FR. The band will begin with a full EU/UK tour supporting Counterparts and Senses Fail, followed by a set of headline dates that will bring them through France, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Austria.
Just one week after Capsize returns to the States, they will set out on a newly announced headline run - with select dates featuring support from Equal Vision Records labelmates Gatherers - that will bring Capsize to the start of their full US tour with Silverstein, Senses Fail and Hundredth. All upcoming tour dates can be found below.
Capsize has also just completed recording two new songs with producer Matt McClellan (Being As An Ocean, Better Off) that are expected to be released later this Fall.
The band has been on the road nearly non-stop since the September 2014 release of their debut full-length album, The Angst In My Veins, including US tours with Being As An Ocean, Defeater, ’68, Gideon, and the Common Vision Tour with Counterparts, Hundredth, and more. This year, the band also completed their first ever tours in Japan and Australia.
The Angst In My Veins was recorded with producer Jay Maas (Bane, Defeater) at Getaway Recordings in Haverhill, MA and is out now through Equal Vision Records. The album impressively debuted at No. 13 on the Billboard New Artist Chart, No. 27 on the Hard Rock Chart and No. 53 on the Independent Artist Chart.
Capsize’s latest music video from the album - featuring intense live performance footage of “Calming, Crippling” that was filmed in Europe on the Impericon Never Say Die Tour, can be seen now at Youtube.com/equalvision.
The band will enter the studio to begin recording their sophomore full-length in early 2016.
