selfies on a blackberry

(Previous Letter)

Dear James Cyberlink,

I think they still use the same one…just a slightly upgraded version.

But forget about them!  I use a shiny Gold Platinum Samsung Galaxy S7!  It might not be the best out there, but it takes great selfies!  And you almost guessed what Apollo’s is – it’s actually a Rim BlackBerry Pearl Flip!  And Mr. Wright’s is…

…Well, it’s definitely a phone.

Im leaving the iPhone life behind so here’s a selfie from my dad’s droid as I await my blackberry. Bummed abt not taking as many pics but hope it encourages me to get back to some analog. Feels cyclical and good.

JONGIN IS ONE OF THE MOST GOOD LOOKING PEOPLE I’VE EVER SAWS YET HE CAN’T TAKE A DAM SELFIE HE’S ONLY 22 AND HE MAKES IPHONE SELFIES LOOK LIKE THEY WERE TAKEN ON A DAM 2011 BLACKBERRY CURVE IM SICK

I headcanon Maria has 2 phones; A Blackberry and an iPhone.
Blackberry because it’s the common phone there and many Panamanians still use and prefer BBM (ah yes i remember the BBM era lmfao) - not to mention the fact that perfectly new, basic blackberry cell phones are available there for really cheep. My friend once told me $10 omf). The iPhone is her business and city phone. It’s more like a show-off phone since she’s quite an admirer of expensive things and the NY aesthetic.
But I drew the iPhone (yes that is the rose gold) ))
