self tanner

Hi I love the @drawfee squad, and I love the draw the squad memes. So I put them together and made these. I will make more but I wanted to post the ones I have so far. Hope you can figure out who is who(btw I’m the smol bean in the pink); I tried sticking with consistent outfits for most of them, and I hope everyone enjoys these. If not, I’m sorry.

« I just can’t understand when — and no offense — people have to wear makeup all the time, and they’ll say, ‘Oh, you can sleep with a tinted moisturizer or a self tanner on your face and you can wake up.’ For me, I just think that’s not my vibe, plus I do breakout. I don’t know if it’s bad advice, I just think it’s kind of to each their own. For me, I can’t really sleep with things on my body or tinted things just because I get worried. It’s not my vibe. »

Literally I have become an expert at self-tanning. This is all you need to know:

1. Shower and exfoliate rough areas (ankles, knees, elbows- shave as you normally would)

2. Dry off, put your hair up and out of the way, and put a regular lotion on the same rough areas, and around wrists and any dry skin; around neck under jaw if you’re not tanning your face (not recommended, could break you out)

3. Start at the bottom and work your way up using either A) lotion (pictured) or B) foam (pictured)

3A. Separate four zones of your body: Legs and Feet, Mid-Front, Back, Arms and Chest. Start with legs, evenly blending the self tanner around your feet and knees especially. Work your way up to your Mid-Front (top of thighs to boobs), then go back over your legs with a tanning mitt (pictured). Work on back, then smooth over your Mid-Front; etc. ARMS ARE ALWAYS LAST!
3B. Apply foam directly to tanning mitt and smooth it over as you would a lotion, only using the mitt instead of your bare hand. Follow the same order.
4. Work on hands by mixing self tanner with an equal amount of lotion and blending back into your forearm, then onto the backs of hands and bottom part of thumbs.

If you’re looking for a really natural, not smelly, vegan, gluten, and paraben free then you HAVE to try this out. It’s amazing! It doesn’t leave streaks, and doesn’t make you look like you have skin problems when it starts to wear off. I use the medium skin tone one, even though I’m fair skin toned, because I find fair toned tanners turn you yellow, so you look like you have liver failure. And did I mention this doesn’t turn you orange??

Fat Sugar Babies

Just started my tumblr but I’ve been in the bowl for a few years and I am FAT (or plus sized if you prefer that)! I get paid usually $1000 for first time dates, get lots of attention on SA and am loving sugar life! Here’s all my tips for you chunky lil babies:

1. GET LACE BOY SHORT UNDERWEAR
This is gonna make your butt look x100 better then in a thong or regular lace panties because it lifts the booty up a little and hides lumps while still looking sexy af! My favourite are the lace boy shorts from Victoria Secret! Oh and always match your bra and undies (no matter what) but you don’t need to buy your bra from Victoria Secret (they don’t have big girl sizes) to match the lace boy shorts!

2. MEN LIKE THICK WOMEN
Getting paid less for having more? FUCK no! You are a fat, curvy, plus sized, piece of fucking art! Don’t let SDs pay you any less then your beautiful fat ass deserves! And as soon as a SD mentions your body negatively and says it will impact your allowance DROP HIM! (Except if he has been with you long term and you are gaining weight rapidly then get him to buy you a gym membership or anything for a diet if that’s what you want but it’s your choice!!)

3. DRINK LOTS OF GREEN OR DANDELION TEA
This will help reduce water retention and speed up metabolism! It might help you loose weight but I use it to keep my nice round tummy looking it’s best and not bloated or swollen!

4. USE A BODY POWDER
Thick girls sweat more…just a curse for being so hot :( To keep cool and from chaffing by a good quality body powder like Lush’s Silk Underwear! It smells amazing and will stop chaffing in the places that are extra fluffy!

5. INVEST IN YOUR WARDROBE
It’s hard to find cheap clothes that look good on a fuller figure. Invest in good quality, expensive looking outfits and you’ll instantly be x10 more attentive to SDs! This goes for all sizes of sugar babies but slim sugar babies can wear a Forever 21 tight black dress and have the material hold up better. Bigger women need better quality fabrics so they don’t stretch, look shiny and appear cheap. Also but yourself a nice purse (with SD money of course) that goes with all your outfits (black or dark brown) to look classy af.

6. SELF CARE IS KEY
Wash your face with Lush cleanser, tone with with hazel and aloe, apply vitamin C serum, apply eye cream, apply moisturizer, wear sunscreen, use self-tanner, exfoliate, get your nails done, get your feet done, condition your hair, get hair cuts often, invest in quality body products, get a silk house coat, make your hands and skin soft as hell!!!! A cared for baby is a sexy baby!!!

7. GET A WAIST TRAINER
Get that wait snatched girl! Thick is great but you want to have a smaller waist then the rest or your figure! Either wear to make your waist smaller over time or wear under dresses at POT dates! Get that coke bottle figure all men (and SDs) will go crazy for!

I’ll add more soon :)

It's that time of year... Self Tanner List

…AND I FINALLY FOUND IT! The perfect self tanner (for pale girls like me, anyway).

You see, after a brush with melanoma last year, I’ve changed my risky tanning bed ways and have been looking for something to take the harshness of my pale skin down a few notches for summer weather. I began in March, testing dozens for self tanners on my legs while it was still cold enough to cover up any mistakes with pants.

I tested high end tanners and cheap drugstore tanners. This is what I have found:

Best Lotion: SUN Laboratories Lotion - Ultra Dark  ($29.99) Yes, Ultra dark. Be brave. It honestly will not make you as dark as it implies. It looks slightly green straight out of the bottle, which will counteract with the red tones on your skin, giving you a brown tan rather than orange. It goes on easily and is a dream to massage into skin. I do caution you to wash your hands at least three times during application or wear gloves.

Best Gradual Tan: L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Sun Splash ($10.99) This is the ONLY tanner I have ever applied to my legs (especially the feet/ankle area) in my entire life that left me with no streaks or patches. I can not say enough about this. It is advertised as a gradual tanner, but on pale skin you will see results after the first application. It’s an absolute dream to rub into skin. I constantly get dark brown dots on my legs when I apply self tanner -  especially after shaving. The consistency of the gel is very soothing to freshly shaved legs.

Best Spray Tanner: Fake Bake Flawless ($29.99)  I would not be able to self tan without this product as back up. While I do not think it goes on bare skin very well, it is perfect for buffing out any patches you may have after applying other self tanners. I find that the areas around my wrists and my hands, ankles and feet all become slightly patchy after any application. All I have to do is spray this on the included mitt and buff out those areas on my way out the door. This is great for my face too, and dries instantly.

Now that I finally have my favorite products, I have a routine down for a flawless ‘just back from the beach’ summer look. I use SUN on my upper body/arms/torso and face and L'oreal on my legs/feet. I always apply at night and allow to dry completely before going to bed. In the morning I will buff out any inconsistencies with a few pumps of Fake Bake and I’m on my way!

** As with ANY self tanner, remember to keep yourself moisturized day and night. I cannot stress the importance of this enough. Also, keep yourself exfoliated. The better moisturized you are, the less you need to exfoliate and the longer your safe self tan will last!

HAPPY SUMMER! =)

All of these products can be found at Ulta, in store or online.

Ways to look slimmer: Self Tanner

I love trying all different sorts of products, especially bath/beauty products. I’m going to discuss, from left to right, all of the above.

I haven’t completely figured out why being darker makes cellulite less obvious… but I’ll take what I can get!

1. First thing’s first: exfoliate! I’m usually very lazy about stuff like this and self-tan without showering first. I exfoliated once before applying tanner and can never go back to my old ways! It comes out much more natural and evenly. Shaving your legs, as well, means that tanner won’t “clump” to hairy areas. Wait at least 30 minutes after shower before beginning tanner application.

I use Nivea touch of harmony body wash, Gillette Venus razor, and EOS shave cream. I love the EOS because it’s very smooth and soft, but make sure you use plenty otherwise you will suffer from an awful razor burn.

2. Always apply self tanner in a circular motion!

3. Make sure that you let the self-tanner completely dry before you put on clothing! Do not shower/sweat for at least three hours after application.

4. Moisturize your ankles, knees, elbows, etc. Any rough/dry areas soak up extra self-tanner, giving you funky dark spots. Moisturizer first means that it won’t soak excess tanner into those areas.

5. If you are going to apply self-tanner to feet/hands, make sure you mix tanning lotion with some regular lotion so that it applies evenly. Do not use too much! It will be darker than other areas quicker.

6. Apply to your calves before your thighs or you will not notice that you are getting excess lotion on your forearms from leaning on your tanned thighs.

7. Scrub your hands when you are finished!

Jergens Natural Glow: Face. Has anyone used this? This is the only product I have not yet tried in this picture, mostly because I’m scared that I’m going to have to put three layers of paler makeup on to cover any mistakes.

Jergens Natural Glow: Revitalizing Lotion. This is probably my least favorite. I have to use two coats each time and it looks a bit orangey and streaky.

Jergens Natural Glow: Foam. Much easier to apply than lotion and actually looks even.

Jergens Natural Glow: Express Lotion. Shows changes in color within about two hours. Not as orangey as regular lotion but still doesn’t quite give a healthy-looking tan.

Loreal Sublime Bronze: Towelettes. I do not like that I can’t really see what I’m applying, but it works pretty well. Tan appears after a few hours and looks natural provided that it is applied evenly.

Loreal Sublime Bronze: Spray Gel. Do not spray directly onto skin. I used makeup sponges to apply it to my skin and mixed it with a tiny bit of moisturizer. Looks fabulous once it is a finished product but is definitely the most difficult to apply.

True Blue Spa Bronzer: from Bath and Body Works. The greatest self-tanner I have ever used. It applies easily because it’s a colored lotion. Applies evenly and looks completely naturally bronze. The only downside is the smell, which I can hardly stand. It’s a very strong tanning-lotion smell. Some people like it, but I am not keen. The smell sticks, too, for about 12 hours. I usually tell myself to get over it, though, if I want the perfect fake tan.
