How are you?

I see warmth, I see the cold

I see fear in every soul

I see the hate in their eyes

Darkness covering the skies

I see simple, I see hard

I see fragile lives scarred

I see pain, I see relief

But in the end all there is, is  grief

I see not what’s wrong with me

Faking smiles in everlasting “glee”

All these things I see

None seem to set me free

So i’ll act sublime

Fix my lips and reply, “I’m doing just fine”
