NYCC IS DONE AT LAST

I had the freaking coolest job. I was working in the press area, which basically meant every guest was back there and I got to see the ~behind the scenes~ workings of the convention. RECAP OF SAID EPICNESS: (at the time, of course, I had to remain professional and chill, but now that the con is over I AM FREE TO FANGIRL TO MY HEART’S CONTENT.)

Frank Miller was around a lot. Dang that dude is legend.

I SAW MARK HAMILL whatttt if you told six year old me watching Star Wars for the first time that I would see Mark Hamill in my lifetime, I would have lol’d at you. AND YET. And then I sat next to Mark Hamill’s wife for like half an hour. SO… DOES THIS MEAN I CHILLED WITH FIRELORD OZAI’S WIFE FOR HALF AN HOUR? ZUKO I FOUND HERRRR

All these guys from the Walking Dead were there, and Lauren Cohan talked to me, and I took a picture with Norman Reedus (HE SEEMED LIKE SUCH A NICE DUDE) and I said goodnight to Steven Yeun (he is so cute omg.)

Alan Tudyk walked by me. My heart stopped. (He wasn’t even there as a speaker or anything as far as I know, I think he was just cruising.) Just… HOW EVEN

and Cobie Smulders smiled at me AHSDK!!FJ?? and… I saw Tom Hiddleston’s forehead in real life… and apparently Chris Evans too though he was rather obscured by cameras and his baseball hat.

Annnnd I saw Masayuki Ozaki preparing before the Tiger & Bunny panel with his adorable props (when they took out the snake towel and the ‘LET’S BELIEVE’ banner I had to stop and seriously question the surreal nature of my life. I mean, I have been operating under the assumption that anyone even remotely associated with the production of anime I am obsessed with will always be on the other side of the world, AND HERE ONE OF THE CREATORS OF MY MOST RECENT AND INTENSE OBSESSION IS RIGHT THERE PRACTICING HIS SEMI-COSPLAY, what the)

AND MOST EPIC OF ALL, I GAVE JUNKO TAKEUCHI A DRAWING AND A LETTER I WROTE HER… AND I SPOKE TO HER IN JAPANESE AND BOWED A MILLION TIMES, AND THEN RAN OFF LIKE A CRAZY PERSON. BUT MY LIFE IS COMPLETE FOREVER KNOWING THAT I HAVE INTERACTED WITH HER IN ANY WAY, MUCH LESS GIVEN HER A DRAWING THAT I CREATED WITH LOVE.

There were also tons of people who I’m sure I failed to appreciate the coolness of fully, like Hiro Mashima, and all these comic book peeps, and Makoto Shinkai, and all these Cartoon Network peeps (ok wow I did not fully grasp the intense cult following that Venture Bros has… I expected the Adventure Time crays though hahah) and peeps from that show Nikita, and IN SHORT

SHIT

WAS

REAL

now if you’ll excuse me I’m going to sleep forever. and then some.

Since everyone it’s posting videos about seiyuus here’s mine :D. A crossover with Masakazu Morita (Ichigo Kurosaki) and Tomokazu Sugita (Gintoki Sakata).

I love how much Masakazu-san laugh over Tomokazu-san jokes X°D.

(In this one version,Bleach it’s the “predominant” fandom).

Kazuma Kiryu - Takaya Kuroda (Yakuza : Dead Souls)[2012] (by uAzil14)

that voice oh my god that voice mai kokoro it hurtsaaahhhh

I read that he tried out for the part for Giovanni after Hirotaka Suzuoki (another awesome seiyuu who was taken from us way too early) died but didn’t get it I don’t think my brain would take him as two of my favourite mafia bosses

Want to play this game for the sake of its seiyuu. Shinigami (the guy on 2:09) is voiced by Kanna Nobutoshi (Cao Pi). Chinamini, Nojima Kenji (Lu Xun) also plays a character on 2:31. All the more reason I need to know or at least sample the plot of this story so I can draw Pi as Shinigami hurr hurr.
