HELLO FRIEND. HAVE YOU ANY CANON MPREG CHERIK FICS???

Well hello there! Mpreg happens to be my speciality! :)

Canon mpregs, you say? Most of these will take place as XMFC fix-its, fair warning, and well undoubtedly the most well known is this one:

Summary: “I wasn’t hiding it from you. Honestly, I didn’t know for certain until yesterday, which I think we can agree was bad timing and not the sort of thing one springs before the heat of battle,” Charles says earnestly.

Warnings/Rating/Word count: mpreg, NC-17, 9,659 words.

My Opinion: This is the highest ranked (completed) m-preg for Cherik on Ao3 with a damn good reason. If you haven’t read it now, you need to.

Summary: Erik and Charles were only together once before doubt and fear ground their romance to a halt. But once was apparently all it took. Now Charles is dealing with a pretty crappy secondary mutation, a brand new career teaching mini-mutants and a stubbornly overprotective Erik. This is the story of how Charles and Erik got from Point A to Point B and what they collected along the way.

Warnings/Rating/Word count: m-preg, NC-17, 17,351 words.

My Opinion: It’s slow build and hurts at times but the ending is gorgeous. I recommend a read, I really do.

Summary: X men first class folowing the events of the film - beach divorce scene occurs.
Charles is being overly hormonal, his powers are going haywire, and Erik is the father…

Warnings/Rating/Word count: m-preg, NC-17, 66,019 words.

My Opinion: Fair warning, it’s fairly poorly written but it does get better on later in it. The relationship between Charles and Erik makes me immensely happy and if you can struggle through the poor grammar, there is a good story.

Summary: Total crack. How the ‘divorce’ could have been averted if Azazel and being pregnant worked in your favor. Also Charles is really pissed at Erik’s penis.

Warnings/Rating/Word count: mpreg, NC-17, 5,199 words.

My Opinion: I cackled through this one. I love it. It’s brill. Go. Read. Enjoy.

Summary: Realistically, Charles knew it was the least advantageous moment to suddenly remember his impending fatherhood. The Americans and Russians were moments away from inciting a new world war, and likewise, Erik himself seemed a split second from turning humanity against mutants forever. But the words were there without his permission, spilling from his lips in a desperate attempt to save Erik from his own madness, and Charles from the inevitable grief that would follow. So he said it. He shouted it. In one felled swoop he told Erik about the life growing inside of him. It was ridiculous and unbelievable and frightening, and Charles had done his best to ignore it up until that moment. But then, with the missiles moments away from destroying so many human lives, Charles recognized the life inside him for what it was. Grasping at straws he told Erik they’d created a child. There was a baby to consider now, equal parts theirs. Pretending the baby was anything but, was no longer an option.

Warnings/Rating/Word count: angst, abandonment, mpreg, Mature, 89,605 words.

My Opinion: Personally, this is a tad too bittersweet for me, but if that’s your cup of tea, you’ll thoroughly enjoy this one.  It took me two read throughs to notice the happy ending in there.

Summary: Charles said the only thing he could think of to make Erik stop from killing the humans. He didn’t even think it work but somehow it did. Now things are a lot different then they were suppose to go, but at least he has Erik by his side.

Warnings/Rating/Word count: mpreg, NC-17, 10,714 words.

My Opinion: Funny at times, thoroughly enjoyed it, nice ending. It will make you smile. Problem being the writing style/grammar isn’t that great but by no means is it unreadable!

Summary: Erik didn’t only leave Charles on the beach.

Warnings/Rating/Word count: hurt/comfort, heartache, m-preg, Teen Audiences, 15,183 words.

My Opinion: I really like the unexpected plot twist in this one, I won’t spoil it but it’s emotionally invested for something so short and the author has written a few mpregs, this is one of my favourites of them.

Summary: Charles and the boys were holding onto a secret more dear to them than their own lives when Charles disappears into the night; Erik is betrayed and finds himself returning to Westchester in the hopes that the government was just trying to trick him. All the while the boys are stuck in the middle, left guarding the secret from the man they are most afraid of finding out who is weaselling his way back into their lives alarmingly easily.

Warnings/Rating/Word count: m-preg, imprisonment, torture, kidnapping, NC-17, 111,355 words.

My Opinion: It’s really not as dark as the tags make it sound, and with the length it’s well spread out. You find yourself yelling for Erik to hurry up and find out but the emotional build up is strong and the relationships between minor characters made me smile. A good read, albeit a long one.

Summary: In the wake of Cuba, Charles and his students are ready to pick up the pieces and work toward achieving Charles’s dream of a safe haven for young mutants. Those plans, however, take a surprising turn thanks to a very unexpected complication. As he slowly builds a future for his students and for his child, Charles struggles with the loss of Erik and the secrets he’s willing to keep to protect his family, but those strides are shattered when Erik makes a startling reappearance into his life. [mpreg, kidfic, ensemble]

Warnings/Rating/Word count: m-preg, Teen Audiences, 67,420 words

My Opinion: It gets a touch angsty at times but it really is a lovely story. I’m rather keen on m-pregs though so I am biased. I loved it so much.

mafeea  asked:

i've been scrolling through your blog, and it's amazing; but i was just wondering, do you know of any non-au cherik epics? I'm talking on the level of "Us" by Pangea kind of epic: incredibly well-written, canon, believable characters, etc? Not necessarily super duper long, but a good story with a good plot? Sorry to be so picky; it's just most of the good cherik fics are fluffy/au/short, and i'd like something longer and deeper! Thanks!

Aloha! :D Thanks for enjoying our work (and our tastes) Oh MAN, where do I even BEGIN. There are SO MANY good fics that deal with canon/duringcanon/postcanon! I can GO ON AND ON about all the super amazing cherik fics! ANYWAY!

Post-movie. In Charles Xavier’s garden almanac, there is a special entry each November for when Erik comes home. And some seeds need to go through fire before they can grow.

A Logical Progression by cloudyjenn [PG13, Cherik, Mpreg, Post-Canon]

Erik and Charles were only together once before doubt and fear ground their romance to a halt. But once was apparently all it took. Now Charles is dealing with a pretty crappy secondary mutation, a brand new career teaching mini-mutants and a stubbornly overprotective Erik. This is the story of how Charles and Erik got from Point A to Point B and what they collected along the way.

[ Did I miss your favourite? Please submit or fanmail it to us!]

Today’s old ask:

Hi, do you know of any fics where Charles tries to commit suicide (but doesn’t succeed) and Erik is there to help him? Can be set in any AU, as long as its Erik/Charles.

anonymous asked:

if you'd be into it I would love if you'd rec some of your fave Cherik fics since I am also just getting into Cherik! If not just ignore this and have a great day :)

omg omg okay here we go:

my top three are:

  1. These Cindered Bones [Mature], 37k, by Swoopswoop: Erik gets attacked by something unknown and when his health starts to decline, has no choice but turn to the x-men for help after seven years of separation.
  2. A Logical Progression [Mature, Warning: Mpreg], 17k, by Cloudyjenn:  Erik and Charles were only together once before doubt and fear ground their romance to a halt. But once was apparently all it took. Now Charles is dealing with a pretty crappy secondary mutation, a brand new career teaching mini-mutants and a stubbornly overprotective Erik. This is the story of how Charles and Erik got from Point A to Point B and what they collected along the way.
  3. Backseat’ verse [Explicit, Warning: D/S], 91k, by Tahariel: “Charles has a very sweet nature,” Raven is saying, her hand falling to the back of his head and stroking his hair very gently, carelessly affectionate. “He doesn’t need someone to force him down, he’s very happy to go there himself. If Erik is the sort to need a fight, then there’s no way I could let him have my brother.”

Others that are great:

Erik glowers.

“I can’t believe we’re back to this,” Charles says, like he wants to throw his hands in the air. He’s pouting a little bit. “Years of progress, and we’ve returned to you brooding. Don’t tell me I have to break out the terrible flirting again.”Erik glowers a little less. “Flirting,” he repeats, bland but also maybe just very, very, very slightly, faintly, vaguely hopeful.“Oh, yes,” Charles says absently, until something seems to strike him. “Don’t tell me you don’t…” He raises his left hand and brandishes the ring. “We promised ourselves to each other last week.”

Alternatively: Erik’s memory is swiped clean of his and Charles’s relationship.

Erik is the grumpiest, most foul tempered worker at Stark industries. His grumpiness is the stuff of legends.

So it’s obviously the talk of the office when Erik is being made to go to the company party and he’s bringing his husband. There’s rumors flying round about how much of a masochist or equally antisocial bastard Erik’s husband must be to put up with him. Others think he must be a meek mouse perhaps bullied by Erik.

What they weren’t expecting was the confident, charming, adorable and unbelievably nice Charles that turns up on Erik’s arm. What they certainly weren’t expecting was how much Erik obviously adores his husband and how happy he is to let others see this.

imagine Charles and Erik recruiting a new mutant and them being all like, ‘woah you’re a telepath!? cool man! well feel free to rummage around in my head, I won’t stop ya - gotta be true to your mutant self, right??’

And Charles being really touched by this and going 'really? gosh… you know, you’re the only person who’s ever said that to me!’

-and Erik and Raven just freeze.

⊙‿⊙✿

I hope you enjoy these!! Also totally come talk to me about cherik bc i’m trash and i don’t have any many cherik friends that talk to me about them!!

here’s all my bookmarks!

After the October Crisis of 1962, Kennedy said that we would never physically invade the island if Khrushchev would remove the ballistic missiles; so therefore, the United States was frozen into a policy of trying to bring Castro down from within which meant disrupting the average life of the Cuban citizen, doing whatever we could to sabotage the economy, to discredit the Revolution.

One way of doing that, of course, was to try to control the amount of food coming into Havana for distribution to the public, and if we could do that by puncturing tires on a truck loaded with tomatoes for the market or if we could cause a truckload of whatever (onions or fresh fruit or meat) to become putrid or be stolen or contaminated on the way into town, we would do that, and I remember one particular instance. A brand new secondary school that had opened up in the countryside was going to receive its week’s supply of fresh milk and we bribed the driver of the truck. We knew where he stopped to have breakfast on his route. We wanted him to take a few extra minutes so we could put cement powder into the milk.

We declared war on school children. That shouldn’t be the policy of the United States government. You don’t win friends and influence people that way (declaring war on children and innocent civilians). [It was] a big mistake, but the U.S. government orders it and participates in it, and the CIA’s goal eventually was to increase this frustration level to a point where there’d be a civil revolution within Cuba to bring him down.

dancyon  asked:

Hiiiiii!!!! Can you please give me the links to any Cherik fics you know with Charles recovering from Cuba and the bullet, and how he maybe, possibly, manages forge new ties with both Raven and Erik? Not necessarily though, they can stay separate too, I just really want bitter, heartbroken Charles, and maybe Raven and Erik thrown into the mix

Hullo @dancyon! Have some of my favourite post-xmfc fics!

The Tower and the Hurricane by dreamlittleyo [E, Cherik, IreneRaven]

(Post-movie AU.) Five years after Shaw’s death, Erik’s predictions prove painfully accurate. Violence rages on both sides of the human/mutant conflict. In a world ravaged by war, it doesn’t really matter who’s more at fault. Charles struggles to teach his students a better way, but what choices will he make when peace really isn’t an option?

[Mod Note| This fic is FANTASTIC, my stars and garters. The world building, the pining, all of it. In a similar vein,  Blood and Steel and Miles Between by dreamlittleyo is also fabulous.]

A Logical Progression by cloudyjenn [M, Cherik, Haven, Mpreg]

Erik and Charles were only together once before doubt and fear ground their romance to a halt. But once was apparently all it took. Now Charles is dealing with a pretty crappy secondary mutation, a brand new career teaching mini-mutants and a stubbornly overprotective Erik. This is the story of how Charles and Erik got from Point A to Point B and what they collected along the way.

write this number down (you can call it anytime) by pocky_slash [T, Cherik, Kid Fic]

When Erik upsets his children, they have a habit of running away from home–and straight to Charles’ school for cookies and consolation. Charles doesn’t mind the visitors, but as they appear more and more frequently, he realizes that sooner or later, he and Erik are going to have to talk about what happened on the beach and what it means for their future and the future of Erik’s children.

And not necessarily what you wanted but:

Everything About It Is a Love Song by pocky_slash [T, Cherik, Old Retired Dudes in Love]

Erik’s spent fifty years being a figurehead and he’s ready to leave that behind. Luckily, so is Charles.

Through the Barricades by starandrea [M, Cherik]

Erik and Charles learned to live without each other once. It’s harder the second time–so before they even discuss it, they’ve decided not to try. (Erik accidentally moves into the mansion without anyone but Charles noticing for days. He may be the first to return, but he won’t be the last.)

ovicati  asked:

Hello. Just wanted to let you know that I love your recs. Thank you! I have a weird favor to ask though. Can you make a Cherik rec list that's Charles-centric or only Charles-POV ? A single POV is actually quite rare but I find it more enjoyable personally. I prefer angst, pining and heartbreaks to color me blue. Samples include No Longer in Silence by Black-Betty's, Sub Rosa by Tahariel, and Tuesday by Sperare. Predominantly 1-POV and full of angst. Please and thank you very much!

First, I just want to say I am so, so sorry for how long this took! Thank you to ovicati for being so lovely and being so patient with me. This was a hard list to make because it’s honestly difficult to remember which fics are which POV, and I’m afraid I had to stick with ones I’ve read multiple times and therefore could remember more readily. I hope there’s something you haven’t read on here yet, but I’d also like to open this post for suggestions!

Time to Grow by zarah5 (M, 21k)
In which you’ll find chess dates which aren’t dates (or maybe Charles is wrong about that). – Based on First Class, this turns (slightly) AU during the beach scene.
Ending’s Comment: Pretty much canon compliant. Erik and Charles start tentatively meeting up. Angsty but not melodramatic, and extremely lovely.

Divergence Day by manic_intent (M, 28k)
The room that Charles is held in is simple, and underground, a concrete bunker of a place hewn into a cube, with a simple white cot for a bed. There’s a small black and white television set, plugged to the wall within hand’s reach of the bed, and an ensuite bathroom attached to the chamber. They’re somewhere in the Nevada desert, as far as Charles dimly remembers, one of Erik’s many boltholes. There’s no one else in the entire facility, and Erik’s mind is closed to Charles from the helmet. The silence is both blissful and excruciating.
Ending’s Comment: A what-if fic set post-DOFP. Erik kills everyone at the White House (including Raven). This obviously changes everything. (The epilogue is in Erik’s POV but everything else is Charles’)

Made To Be Broken by Yahtzee (E, 18k)
Charles makes a New Year’s Resolution: “No more straight men,” Charles repeated as he began scrolling through the apartment directory for Emma’s name. “No more futility. No more pointless hoping and heartbreak. In 2013, I never want to hear the words ‘exception,’ ‘experimenting’ or ‘phase.’ If, God forbid, I hear ‘bicurious’ even once, I may take a hostage.” Then he goes into the party, and Erik is there.
Ending’s Comment: Charles is hesitant to hope for a relationship with Erik who is straight…. or is he? Not as angsty as you may like, but it pulled my heartstrings, anyway.

The stars incline us, they do not bind us by ikeracity, Pangea (E, 162k)
Intergalactic Federation pilot Lieutenant Charles Xavier is assigned last-minute to a high profile mission: transporting over two thousand prison inmates from an old and overfilled prison complex to a newer, higher-capacity prison stronghold located on the outer reaches of the galaxy. Just as he’s settling down for a long and uneventful ride, things take a turn for the worse after the inmates riot and stage a hostile takeover of the ship, leaving Charles to find himself at the complete mercy of cold-blooded killers and facing the chilling prospect that he might not ever make it back home alive.
Ending’s Comment: This fic ruined me. Tight Charles-only POV of course, but still manages to develop Erik very well. Make sure to check warnings and tags!

A Logical Progression by cloudyjenn (M, 17k)
Erik and Charles were only together once before doubt and fear ground their romance to a halt. But once was apparently all it took. Now Charles is dealing with a pretty crappy secondary mutation, a brand new career teaching mini-mutants and a stubbornly overprotective Erik. This is the story of how Charles and Erik got from Point A to Point B and what they collected along the way.
Ending’s Comment: I get a kick out of the Charles has a secondary mpreg mutation trope, and this one is done well with tons of pining.

All the King’s Man by Pookaseraph (E, 64k)
In an effort to get out from under the thumb of his step-father, Charles chooses to become a courtesan for several minor nobles in King Erik’s court. It is not long before he attracts the eye of the young king, and the Cardinal who holds the young king’s ear. Charles spends months working to secure his place as King Erik’s favorite and to regain his father’s title of Merchant Prince. Charles hopes to disprove the old adage that once you enter the king’s bed, you have nowhere to go but down.
Ending’s Comment: A/O universe. Though Erik is the king, this is very much Charles’ story. I love his political machinations and his relationship with Emma. Due to the intense focus on Charles, Erik seemed a bit flat, but I enjoyed this nonetheless! Angst for days!

To Rattle the Stars by GQD, Pangea (E, 71k)
All his life Charles has chafed at the bonds of gravity that hold him bound to tiny and backwater Montressor, more at home in the sky on his solar surfer than on the ground, where he’s stuck working at his stepfather’s inn. His heart and soul yearn for the stars, and it’s his dream to one day be a spacer and sail across the cosmos on adventure. The opportunity comes sooner than he ever imagined one night when a ship crash-lands on the inn’s front doorstep, carrying a dying pirate with a mysterious map and a dire warning: beware the cyborg.
Ending’s Comment: Perhaps not as overall angsty as you might like, but definitely has some heart-twisting moments. Plus great humor and lovely space metaphors (hell yeah)

it’s like one of us woke up by kaydeefalls (T, 25k)
“You came here for me,” Charles said, meeting Shaw’s gaze levelly. “So let’s not waste any more time.” Canon!AU in which Charles and Erik do find Shaw in Russia.
Ending’s Comment: Ripped my heart out. Better than XMFC to be honest, haha.

lay down beside me (so still and so soft) by C_Gracewood (E, 53k)
A different take on the events of the film.
Ending’s Comment: Heavily focused on the sexual relationship between Charles and Erik, but definitely extremely angsty. Set in canon.

Enjoy!

I really want to open this post up for suggestions. Any Charles-only POV fics full of angst that anyone recommends? I know we tend to frown upon writers reccing their own fics, but I think they remember which POV they wrote in better than a reader might, so please feel free to offer your own too!
