second-june

Hi! In your last answer did you mean the movie novelization of suicide squad? Cause if so that's so cool! Also I was confused by the second point. Did you mean June was thinking about who was Rick's type? But thank you so much for posting! It sounds Rick would do anyting for June omg. Your post made me so happy :D

Heyoo, yup I meant the novelisation of the movie which are usually based on the first drafts of the script :))

And the second point is June thinking that if she had a type, it wouldn’t be Rick because you know, he’s such an ice block, “all-business” kind of guy and she questions everything that he does whenever he was around her if he was being nice genuinely or he’s just using her. She seems convinced that he’s only using her coz it’s his job until Flagboy’s all proving her wrong.

Here’s another cute tidbit I found before I put them all in a masterlist coz I’m a horrible human:
- “June Moone sat next to him as well, wearing glasses, looking shy and just a bit mousey, yet he found her distracting. Under any other circumstances…”

John Krasinski opens up about baby daughter

John Kraskinski and Emily Blunt welcomed their second child, a baby girl named Violet, to the worldback in June. Now, the happy dad-of-two has opened up about having a second baby, and his two daughters’ “adorable” relationship with one another.

Speaking of his new film The Hollars, which follows a man facing fatherhood, The Office star revealed how he didn’t think he would have been able to take on the role without drawing from his own experiences with his first daughter, two-year-old Hazel.

John and Emily welcomed their second daughter in June

He told ET: “We started shooting the movie when my daughter was four-and-half-months-old, and I’ve got to say that, had I shot this five months before, that it would have been a totally different movie.

"All the clichés of parenting are true and you feel all sort of new things. It was really this new existential magnet that you feel draw to your family… and you understand your parents more, you understand your brothers’ relationships more, you understand even your family’s name. That you are from somewhere.”

The 36-year-old then chatted about his two daughters’ beautiful relationship, revealing his eldest daughter adores her baby sister. He said: “She’s amazing. She really loves the baby and I think there is this idea of, ‘Oh my God, she is adorable.’ I mean when a two-and-a-half-year-old hugs a newborn baby it’s one of the cutest things you will ever see.”

It sounds like little Hazel finally loves the idea of having a little sister, as Emily previously revealed that her daughter was less than pleased at the prospect of having a new sibling. Chatting to E! News, the Into the Woods actress said: “[Hazel]’s sort of coming round to it. She sort of dismissed the idea initially, and she just responded with, 'Nope’. 'Nope,’ flat out.

"We’ve bought her every single 'I’m a big sister’ book that’s out there and she’s a bookworm, so she’s coming around.”

ET spoke to Krasinski at the premiere, and even he couldn’t help but gush over his wife’s stunning appearance.

“I have no idea,” the 36-year-old actor marveled when asked how Blunt looks so incredible just two months after giving birth. “And it’s just frustrating because even I have to work way too hard to look even like this, and she just does it by waking up.”

Thursday was a fun night out for the two sans their kids, including their eldest, 2-year-old Hazel.

“It is a date night – we try to do one date night a week at least and, you know, this isn’t a bad one,” Krasinski said.

Thoughts on the Upcoming Academic Year

I am entering the second year of graduate school (my fall term doesn’t start until September 21, but our academic year ends about the second week in June), which come with some new obstacles.

I have:

  • Cumes or qualifying exams- The analytical division does something different for cumes: 5 analytical professors are chosen to write one exam on any topic (from Spectroscopic principles, mass spectrometry, to statistics and literature reviews). All of the analytical students do not know who writes the exams ahead of time; the only thing we are given are dates that we will receive the cumes. We receive them Friday afternoon and we have 24 hours to complete them where we will receive scores of 0, 1, or 3 (no 2′s). We must accumulate 9 points (basically trying to pass three out of five exams with 3′s) all before the spring term. This is stressful. There isn’t really a way to “study”, but its an exam to show how knowledgeable you are in the field. So I have about 2 exams in the fall term and 3 in the winter term.
