Here Comes A Thought

   ⋆ Rebecca Sugar - “Here Comes A Thought”  ⋆

LYRICS:

Take a moment to think of just
Flexibility, love and trust
Take a moment to think of just
Flexibility, love and trust

Here comes a thought
That might alarm you
What someone said
And how it harmed you
Something you did
That failed to be charming
Things that I said
Are suddenly swarming

And I, I’m losing sight
I’m losing touch
All these little things
Seem to matter so much
That they confuse you
That I might lose you

Take a moment to remind yourself to
Take a moment to find yourself
Take a moment and ask yourself
If this is how we fall apart

But it’s not, but it’s not, but it’s not,
But it’s not, but it’s not
It’s okay, it’s okay, it’s okay,
It’s okay, it’s okay
I’ve got nothing, got nothing, got nothing
Got nothing to fear
I’m here, I’m here, I’m here

And it was just a thought, just a thought
Just a thought, just a thought..
Just a thought
It’s okay, it’s okay, it’s okay,
It’s okay, it’s okay
We can watch, we can watch, we can watch them go by..
From here, from here, from here

Take a moment to think of just
Flexibility, love and trust
Take a moment to think of just
Flexibility, love and trust

Nerd Birds at Comic Con - Tim Drake x Reader

Tim Drake x Reader: After a successful mission in San Diego you decide to pull your boyfriend away from work to go to SDCC.

[H/N] - hero name

“Well Red, you know what they say about the bigger they are.” You said to Red Robin while you were finishing to secure the big baddie that the two of you had just knocked unconscious.

“Yeah, yeah, save the cliches for another time. We’ve still got work to do.” He said all business-as-usual. You gave him a playful little pout. Tim’s been so tightly wound lately and has been working himself to the bone. You were sure that at this point the only thing keeping him awake was excessive amounts of caffeine and willpower. He needed a break badly and as his partner in the streets as well as in the sheets you figured it was in your job description to provide a distraction every once and awhile. Since you were in San Diego you had just the thing in mind.

The two of you finished up what you needed to with this investigation and you pulled him aside before you guys went on active patrol again.

“Hey Red Robin, there something big going on near the convention center. I want to check it out.” You said already making your way towards that direction. He followed you as you ran across the rooftops until you were a block or two away from the convention center. You dropped down into a hidden alleyway and waited for him to join you. You watched with excitement as a Batman passed you out on the sidewalk.

“What’s going on [H/N]? What was the tip?” He asked. You shrugged and brushed some dirt off of his shoulders.

“Oh, no tip! When I said something big was going on at the convention center I meant comic con.” You said with a excited smile on your face. When he started to argue you put a finger on his lips to hush him. “No, Tim. We both need a break. We’ve been talking about going to this thing for years and we’re here already! I’m not asking for much. I just want to spend one night with my boyfriend nerding out. One night and then we can get back to work, ok?” You said making it clear that it really wasn’t up for debate.

“[Y/N], we don’t have any civilian clothes to change into. We can’t just go into comic con in our uniforms.” He said pinching the bridge of his nose. You scoffed and started to giggle. “What?” He asked at your laughs.

“Tim, there’s a Deadpool and Rainbow Dash eating ice cream on that bench and look” You said pointing out to the outdoor seating of a restaurant across the street where a couple sat “Harley Quinn and Superman making out. I hardly think Red Robin and [H/N] cosplayers will raise too many eyebrows.” You offered with a hopeful smirk on your face. He contemplated your words for a few moments before sighing.

“Fine.” He relented. You let out a squeal of happiness and pulled him into a tight hug.

“We’re going to comic con!” You said excitedly pulling him out onto the sidewalk leading towards the convention center.

“We’re going to comic con!” He repeated in an equally excited voice. You walked together hand in hand to the convention center taking in all the sights and sounds. Within an hour of walking the floor you could have sworn that you saw every member of the justice league. There were a couple of Teen Titans and Red Robin cosplays milling about. There were even a few people dressed up as you. You stopped and took pictures with anyone who asked.

One group of girls stood out to you in particular. You and Tim were waiting to get into the Voltron panel when a group of Teen Titans cosplayers stopped to talk to you while you were in line.

“Oh my god!” The Cassie lookalike squealed. “Red Robin and [H/N] are my OTP! Your costumes look great!”

“Aww! Thank you! I’ve been working on this cosplay for a couple of months. I had such a hard time finding the right fabric.” You exaggerated. You looked over to see that Tim was talking shop about his wings with the other Red Robin.

“Well it looks fantastic! Would you mind if we all took a picture with you guys?” She asked.

“Of course!” You said. You pulled Tim to your side and the Wondergirl got one of the people standing in line to take a picture of all the Titans cosplayers.

“Thank you so much. It was great to meet you guys.” She said before their group left to continue their exploring. When the group left, you hooked your arm through Tim’s and pulled him to your side.

“Did you hear that? We’re someone’s OTP!” You whispered excitedly in his ear. He looked down at you and shrugged with a wide smirk.

“I ship it.” He said casually. “But I think my OTP slot is reserved for [Y/N] and Tim.” You heart swelled at your beautiful nerd’s charm.

“Awww! I love you too, you giant nerd bird!” You cooed pulling him down for a kiss. When you pulled away you saw that the line was starting to move. You excitedly dragged him forward to continue your adventure at SDCC.
