I just saw Comet for the third time on Saturday (4/22).
Let me start off by saying that Scott Stangland (I did not see him as Pierre, Josh Groban SLAYED as per usual) needs so much appreciation because he is the chillest and coolest dude (and I can’t wait to actually see him as Pierre at some point). He took us backstage and is so kind and down to earth (also backstage is AMAZING). Being able to freely walk around the stage was one of the coolest things.
Anyway some highlights from this experience:
-I GOT A LETTER. From the lovely accordion player killer ensemblist Kat (literally this was all I’ve ever wanted)
-Lucas Steele stood right in front of me and winked at me and I melted
-Alex Gibson came up to our table before the show because he saw my twin trying to make sense of the family tree
-at stage door I talked about War & Peace with Nick Choksi
-I GOT A FIST BUMP FROM LUCAS AT STAGE DOOR AND I MELTED AGAIN
Last night i dreamed that Scott Cawthon had his own skyscraper HQ and he updated the website on his tv walls to show a hot release of his new game
Microbe minions - a fnaf world style game where various cute but horrible microbes are used to take over people’s online “bodies” and wreck cute havoc on them in a defense tower or tetris style game.
Special guests were a 3D rendered purple guy and 3D rendered Eggs Benedict - MY Eggs design???? there were crowds of cheering and screaming fangirls worshipping the screens and i was sprinting through the street screaming:
“MY EGGS BENEDICT DESIGN IS CANON I FORTOLD IT I DID IT!”
Buy I do not know the fate of the Cawthon skyscraper HQ because I woke up fml
Oh and people were complaining fnaf 6 wasnt out yet but it was ok because he made purple guy renders.
I would like to offer my support in planning a future Cawthon skyscraper HQ…..
Scott’s been to the Archon’s ship. He’s been through - and seen - some shit. At the end of it all, his victory doesn’t feel like much of one and it shows. After showing up unannounced, strangely nervous and far too sober on Kadara, Reyes thinks he can help. Scott/Reyes FLUFF and ANGST GALORE because they’re DONE beating around the DAMN bush. First, this contains massive spoilers. So. Beware. This is the last installment of my alcohol therapy series, and it takes place after both Wine & Beer Therapy. This one is a lot longer, just as an fyi. Yeah. It’s been fun. Enjoy! Edit: Holy smokes, thank you all so much for all of the love for this trilogy! I by no means consider myself a writer, just a fan who wanted my “I love you” scene and more friendship development. I’m so glad so many of you have enjoyed it! _____________________
“I love you.” Scott’s face turned a humiliating shade of pink, his ears prickling with warmth. No, that wasn’t right. It was way too… generic. “I love you.” He cringed inwardly to himself as he weaved his way through the crowd at Kadara port towards the elevator. He was glad that the market had been particularly busy today, considering he’d been walking around for hours now… practicing how to say three fucking words over and over. He kept mumbling it to himself, trying to find the right intonation, the right inflection. Nothing was working, he was losing his nerve, and he needed to do this now or it was never going to happen. He waited in line and absentmindedly squeezed his way into the surprisingly full elevator, trying not to scrunch his nose too noticeably at the smell of the man pressed against his shoulder. “I love you.” He tried, his hands raising in a dramatic motion. “Ugh, too much.” He muttered after, frowning to himself. He heard - and felt, eugh - the man next to him scoff.
Thirty-two exquisite glass vases designed by Louis Comfort Tiffany, on loan from a private collection, will be featured in an exhibition opening this fall. “Tiffany Favrile Glass: Masterworks from the Collection of Stanley and Dolores Sirott” will survey the full range of Tiffany’s Favrile glass vase production, from experimental pieces made in the 1890s to the widely-admired peacock vases produced in the early years of the 20th century. The exhibition opens Oct. 7, 2017, and continues through Feb. 26, 2018, in the Virginia Steele Scott Galleries of American Art.
My favorite time of the year! Every summer I bring my camera along to capture my wonderful friends and the surrounding beauty of our city and beyond. It’s getting harder to do as my camera has gotten bigger and bigger but I’m glad I did as this feels like the perfect scrapbook for the summer.
