"i’m scared of the dentist so i brought my best friend along for support but they’ve been flirting with the dentist for the past fifteen minutes and now i’m third wheeling at my own dentist appointment’ au" Please? :)
May I present hot dentist Derek and shameless flirter Stiles! (also on ao3!)
“Dude, c’mon. Stop being such a freakin’ baby,” Stiles instructed loftily as he plopped down into one of the waiting room’s uncomfortable plastic chairs, crossing his legs to rest his ankle on his opposite knee, trying to get as comfy as he could on the hard blue plastic seat. He plucked a magazine at random from off the veritable mountain of tabloid spreads and old newspapers on the long coffee table in the center of the room, thumbing through it until he found some interesting pictures along with an article about lions.
Scott groaned low in his throat and begrudgingly took a seat beside him, pouting like a petulant little child as he folded his arms over his chest and stared down at the black and white tiled floor that looked like it had come right out of a 1980’s kitchen. Stiles nudged Scott’s arm with his elbow, flashing his friend a bolstering smile as he told him, “It’s just the dentist, relax. What’s the worst that could happen?”
Scott didn’t seem to appreciate the advice, sending Stiles a pathetic attempt at a glare that was supposed to be scathing but in reality just made him look more constipated than a Chihuahua. Apparently, Scott took his dental hygiene very seriously and while he had been going to Hale Dentistry ever since he was a little kid, same as Stiles, he had been anxious for his appointment since he was informed that his usual dentist would not be in and another doctor would be covering the checkup.
So, being the amazing, wonderful, out of this world best friend slash pretty much brother, that Stiles was, when he found out that Scott was worried about his appointment, he volunteered to go along with him. For moral support, of course.
It certainly wasn’t because his dad was trying some new diet that was beyond disgusting and was invented solely to torment Stiles’ taste buds, the Sheriff insisting that his only son stick to said hellish diet to show solidarity. Yup, it had nothing to do with the fact that he was hoping to stop by McDonald’s and Taco Bell on his way home. Nada.
Stiles had at first just thought that Scott was a little cagey because of the disruption to his routine, never a huge fan of change, thinking that his buddy was just a little nervous about meeting the new doctor that would have their fingers all up in his mouth. But that wasn’t the case. Scott was genuinely anxious, jumping from one worst case scenario to the next, one minute talking about how the new doctor might accidentally chip his tooth and the next talking about how he hoped the new doctor didn’t smell bad.
Stiles had a feeling that he was experiencing what it was like for other people when he inevitably wound up rambling on and on about something or another. He would have to bake his dad an appreciation cake. A low-fat, dairy-free appreciation cake, of course.
With his usual comforting tactics not working, namely self-deprecating humor and poor attempts at levity, Stiles decided to go the way of quiet comfort, gently patting Scott’s arm and giving him lots of thumbs up and encouraging smiles until the receptionist called them back to the exam room. Stiles hopped up out of his seat, feeling a bit fidgety and restless and extremely unfocused since he had forgotten his Adderall that morning. Scott much more reluctant to get back to his feet.
They followed the pretty nurse, who wore a nametag pinned to her orange fox patterned scrubs that identified her as Kira, into the exam room, Stiles thanking her while Scott continued to sulk like a kid who had just let go of his balloon. While Scott got situated in the exam seat, Stiles sunk down into a nice cushiony chair by the door, tugging his phone out of his pocket to check Pokemon Go, having been addicted since they added Gen Two.
He managed to catch two Jigglypuffs and a Cyndiquil before the doctor came in the room, making Stiles’ jaw nearly drop. Because doctors, especially not dentists, should be allowed to be that hot. Once someone achieved that level of hotness they should be promoted to Calvin Klein models or porn stars, preferably gay porn stars.
“Scott (Y/N)’s here.” Melissa called up the stairs, knocking
on his door when he didn’t answer. “Scott, did you hear me?”
“You said (Y/N) called?” He muttered, towel around his waist
as he came from the shower.
“No, she’s downstairs, you were studying with her?” She asked
and he frowned.
“No that’s tomorrow.” He muttered but she shook her head and
chuckled as she went to tell you he was upstairs before she left for work.
“Scott, your Mom said we could study because you don’t have
work you’re just on the wrong day or something.” You blabbered as you jogged up
the stairs, yelping when you burst into his rooms as he put his boxers on.
Request: Hey can you do a teen wolf imagine where the reader is Derek’s little sister and is covered in burn scars from the fire so she is really self conscious about her body, but the pack tries to make her feel better about herself. -thanks!
Okay, I’m sorry I’m incredibly inactive when it comes to actually writing and posting things. It’s really hard to this when you have school and finals. But now that I’m on Winter Holiday, I think we’re good…
Another note, I felt as if this would be really cute as a Scott McCall imagine and seeing as I haven’t written anything for Scott, I went ahead and made it a Scott McCall imagine as well. I hope you don’t mind that I did so.
REQUESTS ARE OPEN! But bear with me. :)
I hope you enjoy!
Scott has only seen your body once. It was the night of a full moon and Derek called him in a panic as he realized you, being a young, evolved wolf, had shifted and ran off into the forest. After Scott roared at you, you shifted back into your naked human form that had burn scars and marks all over your body. But even though you saw yourself as a complete monster, fangs and scars and all, Scott assured you that he saw nothing short of beauty.
But Scott’s constant compliments and Derek’s support never stopped your wavering confidence. Although most days you’ve come to terms that you will never heal nor share the same physique as your sister Cora, some days you never felt at home in your own body. And today was one of those days.
The pack decided to go to the beach, of all places. And although Scott urged them to choose a new location, in fear that the venue would upset you, you encouraged their plans. He drove Stiles’s jeep, with Stiles as passenger, and you and Lydia in the back. Lydia was sporting a summer dress with her swim suit underneath while you wore Scott’s baggy sweater and some cut offs that showed off the only part of your body that hadn’t been burned by the fire.
Scott glanced at you in worry, getting a whiff of your anxious chemo signals, but you gave him a reassuring smile. The others had been looking forward for today and you certainly didn’t plan to be the kill joy.
As the pack unloaded, you offered to stay back to watch their things. Only Malia, Lydia, and Scott found this odd but the two girls rushed off into the cool ocean waters, thinking that it was just girly problems. But Scott knew.
“You okay?” He asked, sitting down next to you. You nodded. “I’ll stay with you.”
“Go, have fun with the others. I’m fine.” You assured your boyfriend. And although he knew better, Scott nodded and discarded his shirt before giving you a peck on the lips and running into the waters.
As time went on and as the beach got more and more packed, you couldn’t help but feel out of place in Scott’s sweater as you watched other girls show off their blemish free bikini-ready bodies. A group of teenage boys parked themselves next to the pack’s belongings, you sat on a beach towel and they snickered as they whispered. You being a werewolf, heard every single word and “prude” had been their popular phrase. And their comments never stopped. You closed your eyes in fear that tears would fall from your eyes.
You didn’t realize that the pack had soon surrounded you, taking a break from their fun. Scott nudged you. “What’s wrong babe?” He whispered. You shook your head, feeling a tear roll down your cheek.
“Aw… She’s crying. Bet you he broke up with that prude for the hot girl with the red hair.” A boy joked loudly to his friends, causing the group to laugh. Malia growled, hearing his comment.
“Hey, leave her alone.” Liam snapped.
“She can’t fend for herself?” A boy laughed. You took a deep breath, feeling your canines expanding. Scott grabbed onto your forearm and rubbed it soothingly. But you snapped your hand away and got up. “She doesn’t even let him touch her. She is a prude.” You heard Stiles’s voice arguing for your defense but you were too busy listening to the ocean, in an attempt to block out the voices, to pay attention.
Scott had grabbed onto your waist and nuzzled his head in the crook of your neck. “I love you, you know.” He whispered. You nodded. “Those guys are asses. You’re beautiful.” You turned and smiled at him, giving him a peck on the lips.
“I don’t care what they think.” You whispered back, more to convince yourself than him. “You are the most truthful person I know, Scott. You wouldn’t lie.”
“No I won’t.” Scott said, pecking your lips once more.
“Well I want to show you something.” You smiled, feeling a rush of confidence you never felt before. Scott gave you a confused look as you bolted for the water, his sweater flying through the air.
Scott ran after you and splashed into water. You greeted him with a long, passionate kiss as he took in what was in front of him. You wore a black bikini, that showed off your werewolf physique and although you were self conscious about the scars that detailed your every curve, you knew that Scott found you beautiful and in his gaze you felt beautiful.
“Woah, there’s that boy with a hot chick.” You both heard the familiar voice of that boy from earlier.
“That’s the same girl you idiots called a prude.” Lydia smirked as Scott pulled you into another kiss.
“Scars or no scars, (Y/N). You’re Still Beautiful to me.” Scott told you, lovingly.
My face is always much paler than my body and sometimes it’s necessary to darker my complexion to match. I thought I would show you a quick way to deepen your complexion to give the appearance of a Summer tan but with a natural finish! If you like to fake tan your body and not your face then this is also a great technique. Often using fake tan on your face can make it look very uneven and also cause breakouts, so I would recommend only using fake tan on your body and use makeup to deepen your face instead.
He didn’t know how long he had been sitting in the lobby, but he knew it must have been awhile. Counting the soft ticks from the clock on the other side of the room was his only way of telling how much time had actually passed.
Despite Melissa practically forcing him to eat something when Scott had bought him to the hospital earlier that morning, he hadn’t eaten all day. His stomach grumbled but he ignored it as his eyes wandered around the room.
Lydia sat across from him, whispering things to Kira every now and then. Scott sat next to him, bouncing his knee and staring at his thumbs.
He couldn’t help but feel like this was his fault. He lead the nogistune right to her and because of him, she had been in a coma for the past 10 hours completely unconscious.
