  • Me: Pardon me for asking, and I'm not saying that The Legend of Korra is a terrible show or even a bad show, but what are your thoughts on the rest of the cast and characters? Wouldn't you like to know more about them? What about Varrick, Zhu Li, Eska and Desna, Kuvira, Lin Beifong, Tenzin, Kya, Bumi II, Katara, Toph, Zuko, Zuyin, Opal, Jinora, Baatar, Bataar Jr., Zaheer, freakin' Bolin, and, even though I know they're not well liked, what about Prince Wu, Kai, or even Mako? What about the story itself?
  • The Internet: Who the fuck are those characters? What the hell's a "story"? We just want to see girl-on-girl smut.

Forever//Daryl Dixon

Info: y/n is split up from the survivors and her boyfriend, Daryl. She is lost on her on and in the country, surviving on almost nothing other than hope she’ll find them again. When she is finally reunited, she isn’t the same.

Warnings: swearing, mentions of sexual abuse and abuse

It was a mess, panic, walkers, gunfire. The governor had blown up the prison and y/n happened to lose the rest of the group. She had been alone for months on end, seeing signs of sanctuary, the closer she got, the signs changed. ‘No sanctuary’ is what she read. She sighed and moved on down the tracks.

I was in desperate need of a new (and bigger) backpack after I managed to rip open my old backpack when I tried to fit my gym clothes in it… and to celebrate my new backpack and because school is coming up soon here is what’s usually in my backpack :)

The backpack I will be using is a Beckman “college” 34L.

1. My 13″ macbook pro.

2. Notebooks. The notebooks I will be using in class this year is gridded A4 from Notabene, my tiny with dots from IKEA and also some lined (brown) from Clas Ohlson.

3. Whichever book I’m currently reading. I tend to show up to school a little early and then it’s always nice to have something to read.

4. My bullet journal. This one is a moleskine gridded large classic one.

5. Folders/binders. The pink one is where I keep my practice exams and “cheat sheets” that I have made for my Math (R1) exam I’m having this fall, and the other one is to keep loose papers in.

6. My beloved pencil case.  On which most of my friends have written their name or something else on.

7. Calculator.  A necessity when 90% of your subjects require you to do complicated math…

8. Lip balm.

9. Markers.

10. Super cute page flags/markers. For those wondering I got them at Panduro and they were cheap!!!

11. Scissors. Just in case I would ever need them

12. Post it’s.

13. Headphones. Because my teachers always surprises us with videos and clips we have to watch on our own in class…

14. Hair elastics. Because I have long hair that tend to go in the way…

That’s what is in my bag/backpack, and I would love to see what you carry around with you too!

Better to Give Than to a Receive; bondage

Original fic! And, uh, porn, obviously.

“So, are you even into getting tied up?”

They’re on the couch, Clarke leaning into Bellamy’s side while he works on his laptop, just being close to each other. A lot has changed in the week since they started dating, but in a way it’s more surprising how little has changed. Bellamy is still her best friend, the person she spends most of her time with. But she hasn’t slept in her own bed in days, and they’re touching basically all the time they’re together, like they still can’t get enough of it, even though they’d been fucking for months before that.

Being in love is so much better. No comparison.

“What?” she asks, blinking up at him. He’s put aside his laptop and is flushing faintly, not looking at her.

He’s so cute.

“The, uh–I have one coupon left. I didn’t know how to ask if you really wanted me to use it. Bondage is one of those things I figure requires enthusiastic consent. We don’t have to do it. I’m really satisfied with our sex life as-is.”

She pushes herself up so she can curl into his side, wrapping him up. “Are you into it? Do you want to?”

“Feels like a shame to not use all the coupons,” he says, gruff, but then he relents. “It’s not, like–a huge kink for me, generally. But, uh–you’re a huge kink for me, so I wouldn’t mind trying it out. If you’re into it.”

“You know you can just say you’re into it,” she says, poking him. “I’m not going to feel pressured just because you want to do it. The reason I haven’t said no to any of this stuff is that I don’t want to, not that I think I can’t.” She pauses, but if he’s going to feel weird, she might as well talk through it. “I guess I don’t get, like–there isn’t a lot of base appeal for me. I don’t get what it adds. So if you’re into it, tell me what you’re looking forward to.”

Scissor Blades and Flames (Closed RP with gytech)

After all of the chaos that happened back home, Ryuko Matoi decided to go on a little journey on her own to clear her mind and be alone for awhile. As much as she didn’t want to leave her friends and family behind, she needed the time to herself… And even though she doesn’t really have a use for it anymore, she decided to take her red Scissor Blade just in case she gets attacked. She didn’t really care where she was going, so she just went where she felt like would be a good enough path. However she managed to wander onto a path near a quiet little city. It was nice looking, she might stop by to find an inn or something to rest for awhile. But before she could do that, she heard some commotion going on at the top of a hill and saw some flames going around. It didn’t look like a wildfire, it looked like someone or something was controlling it though. After pondering about it for awhile, the crimson ruffian decided to go check it out and see what was going on

50.) Brown Bess musket was in service from 1722 to 1838 - some were even shipped to the Crimea in 1854. It weighed 4.8kg and was made up of three component parts the lock, stock and barrel. It had an effective range of 100 meters but was capable of firing to 250 meters. It fired a .75 musket ball made of lead, which was contained as part of a paper tube made from Cartridge Grade paper which contained gunpowder. The soldier would remove the cartridge from the cartridge box, bite off the end to release the powder, pour a small amount into the pan and the rest down the barrel. The now empty cartridge still attached to the musket ball would then be placed into the barrel as wadding and the ramrod used to ram it down. The musket would be cocked and was then ready to fire. When the trigger was pulled the hammer containing the flint would strike the frizzen, causing sparks to ignite the gunpowder in the pan and pass through the touch hole to ignite the main charge and fire the musket ball. A well drilled soldier was capable of firing 4 shots a minute

4 shots a minute was extremely fast. 3 is far more likely. The gear shown here wouldn’t be too terribly different for a soldier in the Seven Years War or the Revolutionary War.

Tips for Kuroko no Dash

EDIT: From beanieluvjae: “If you want to turn off the ads, just turn off wifi or turn on the airplane mode completely before opening the game (if game is already open, turn it off, then wifi off, then reopen the game) then you can enjoy the game withoud ads :)”

So I’m sure you’ve heard (or at least should hear) from HERE, there is a new game where you make Kuroko and co. run…and yeah, that’s basically it. The characters run by themselves, and you click once to jump and twice to jump again while you’re in the air. There are 3 obstacles: a tanuki, Nigou and Akashi’s freaking scissors that will basically kill you no matter what you do.

Anyway, I would totally download the game if you have a machine compatible/are willing to waste a lot of time with this. As Skye said, “This is the next flappy bird."

I’m here to offer some tips in case you’re stuck. By no means do I think I’m better than everyone or whatever. I’m sure there are a lot of people who have higher scores. I just wanted to offer some help as the product of my findings for spending around 2 hours continuously playing. If you would prefer not to read it, feel free to just pass. Also, if you have extra tips, I’d be happy to hear them.

Anyways, tips under the cut.

[In Which Loki Gets a Haircut (Frostshield)]

Steve cards his fingers through Loki’s hair while they sprawl on the couch and watch the credits of the movie roll. It’s soft – softer than he ever would have guessed on their first encounter – washed and devoid of grease and allowed to tumble down his shoulders in loosely curling waves. He runs his hands gently through it, watching as the pink tones of his flesh vanish and then re-emerge between inky black strands, running his touch against Loki’s scalp, his neck, his shoulders, and feeling the God relax under his ministrations.

Until his hand gets caught.

“Ah!” Loki exclaims, a small cry of surprise and discomfort.

“Sorry!” Steve quickly offers, freezing and then slowly trying to extricate his hand from the snarl it’s managed to catch in. “Just, don’t move…”

Steve loves Loki’s hair, but there is an awful lot of it. It’s curly and it’s thick, and it’s ensnared his fingers rather thoroughly when he wasn’t paying attention. “Boy, do you have a lot of hair,” he muses as he teases out the tangles. “It’s getting long.”

“Hair has a tendency to do that,” is Loki’s dry reply.

“Well, you need a haircut,” Steve remarks as he gently pulls his hand free.
