I would love to do a teen wolf story based off of the sense8 universe…. that would be so cool. Too bad I’m swamped with stories already lol, maybe in the future?

I just realized - if my memories are correct - that nobody ever took Scott’s pain. So i got this headcanon of Scott in his bedroom, alone and desperate and still bloody from Theo’s attack. Melissa went down to get more bandages. Scott closes his eyes to resist the urge to cry - why can’t he be stronger, he was never strong enough, he was supposed to protect everyone but he’s a failure. He lays there, eyes shut and deep in his torturing thoughts, when suddenly he feels a wave of relief. It’s a physical relief, as if the aching of his slashed skin, the weariness of his shoulders and the suffocating pressure on his lungs were siphoned away. Scott sighs in relief. The pain is still there, but it’s numb and ghostly and he can deal with it.

“Are you feeling better ?”

The familiar voice startles Scott and his eyes flutter open. Isaac is there, sitting on the edge of the bed, looking quite in pain. Scott lowers his gaze to see the other boy grabbing his arm, sickening black veins running up his hand. When he understands what Isaac is doing, Scott abruptly pulls out his arm from the grip. He wants to say a million things - “What are you doing here ?” “When did you come back ?” “Why ?” - but the only thing that comes out is :

“Don’t do that, I don’t want you getting hurt. I’m fine.”

Isaac looks at him, offended.

“No, you’re not ! I just talked to your mom. You died, Scott.”

His voice cracks on the word and he averts his gaze, as if he wanted to cry. Scott winces. He doesn’t want Isaac to be sad, he just wants to make people feel better - that’s all he ever wanted, really - but somehow he just manages to bring death and suffering around him.

“But I’m okay now. Don’t worry about me.”

“No, you’re not !”

Scott startles, surprised by the outburst. Isaac looks angry and sad.

Stop. Stop pretending to be fine all the time, when you’re clearly not. Stop worrying about everyone and refusing to let anyone worry about you. What you’ve been through… I should’ve been here, I’m sorry. You always protected me and the one time you needed me to do the same, I wasn’t here. I’m sorry.”

He is crying now, and so is Scott. But he keeps on talking.

“Let me take care of you for once. At the hospital, when I was burned, you took my pain away. You take everyone’s pain but nobody ever takes yours. So please, let me do this. Let me be here for you this time.”

Scott lays back into the bed and let Isaac grab his arm again, knowing he won’t change his mind. He feels guilty when Isaac winces in pain, but he’s also relieved to feel better. He looks at Isaac and wants to say a thousand things - “I’m so glad you’re here” “I’m lost and I don’t know what to do” “I need you” “I’m sorry” “Please don’t go” - but he can’t, not yet.

But Isaac smiles and tighten his grip on his arm as if he would never let go and says :

“I know. I got you.”

And everything is a little better.

Bigender Isaac Lahey, who isn’t out. Who struggles sometimes. Would rather stay at home on days where she feels more comfortable in lacy skirts and stockings. When she wants to wear a bit of pink lipgloss and dark eyeliner because those things make her feel pretty and more feminine.

But she can’t and she doesn’t know how to explain it to her parents or the pack, so she doesn’t. She’s used to being misgendered. And how could anyone tell anyway, she thinks bitterly. It’s not like she’s told anyone or anything. But there’s that assuming thing and she hates it.

Her one thing, just one thing that makes her feel a tiny bit better about it on those days are her panties. If there’s one thing she’s learned, it’s that those set her mood and keep her happy. So she spends good money on them, preferring lace to satin. Cotton, too, on some days. She can get by as long as she has that one thing.

But it wasn’t meant to last forever. How could Isaac when werewolves are her best friends, her pack, her family?

Isaac’s having a masculine day, though, when Scott approaches him, so he wonders if Scott chose to wait until that was the case or what. Scott’s heartbeat is steady, his smile genuine, when he asks Isaac the question he was hoping someone would ask him some day because he really didn’t know how to come out and say it.

So Scott does - he asks Isaac what his pronouns are and Isaac feels panic for a brief second before he remembers that it’s Scott, and Scott won’t hurt him or betray his trust. And he settles, but he still feels a knot in his gut, even when he says it - that it changes.

And Scott smiles at him, nodding, encouraging him to talk and Isaac does. He talks until he’s spilled everything, his insecurities and hopes and secrets, his fears and regrets about everything. Scott wraps him in his arms and reassures him that it’s okay, that he won’t say anything, that he’s safe.

He never does ask Scott why he decided to ask him because it truly doesn’t matter. What matters is that Scott is here for Isaac, one every day. The good, the bad, the days when Isaac wants to hide away from everything. He holds Isaac’s hand when she goes to visit her dad’s grave, even though he was a shitty human being and Scott knows it, because Scott understands what that’s like.

Isaac finds hope and joy and love in Scott McCall. And Scott finds strength in Isaac. They’re a perfect match.

'an extra hour in the ball pit' for slythatheart (allison/isaac/scott, pg)

Title: An Extra Hour In The Ball Pit
Recipient: slythatheart
Creator: pocketlass
Rating: PG
Pairing: Allison/Isaac/Scott
Warnings: none

Summary: Allison smiles and grabs one of the labeled balls at random. “Okay, so this one says…find something you both have in common.”

They glance at each other awkwardly for a moment. “Well,” Isaac begins. “We all…have…vowels in our names.”

“Scott only has one vowel,” Allison says. “So we all have at least one vowel in our name! …Just like almost everyone in this city,” she realizes, trailing off with a snort.

Her laugh is infectious; Scott can’t help but join in. “We are doing so good.”

(Or, an AU where werewolves are known, no one knows each other, and Scott, Isaac, and Allison volunteer to sit in a ball pit in front of a camera and play ice breakers with a complete stranger. Inspired by SoulPancake’s Take A Seat, Make A Friend video.)
