Okay, so remember a few weeks ago when I said that I got to call the action live on the radio for one of my schools football games? (HA! Who am I kidding? No one reads this blog! I’m talking to nobody! HELLLOOOOO NOBODY!) This was it.

Well, see it was actually a lot of fun to do because we totally won. Let me put this in perspective for you: The University of La Verne football team has won three games in the past three years. One of them was last week, one of them was at the end of last season and one of them was this game. Kind of a big deal.

We got a new coach at the end of last season and a lot of hopes were on him to kind of turn the team around and make us a contender. He’s already doubled the amount of wins we got last season (two to last seasons one), so I’d say things are looking up!

I don’t even need our team to win SCIAC for crying out loud, just make it so we’re not the laughing stock of our division and I’ll be there to cheer the guys on.

It was totally fun to do my best John madden impression and call the action live as it happened. Probably one of the most fun things I’ve done since I got here, school-wise.
