Fiery and fiercely passionate, she wears a steel armor and her horns always aim ready for battle. Forever taking charge and continuously looking for dynamic and competition. Driven by avidity and born a fearless leader, she bares a pure and almost childlike soul; untainted & unafraid.
Uncompromisingly stubborn with a strong willed character, great perseverance and determination. She has a hot and fiery temper, and will unleash it when pushed to her limits. Even so, she loves anything that excites her senses. Controlled by inner serenity and a powerful sense of stability, she is & always will be a force to be reckoned with.
Recognized by her contradictory nature, her mind is always alternating between logic and absurdity. She’s a combination of high intelligence, wit, and eloquence. Forever battling mystical forces of left and right; she’ll mirror your best and worst parts and show you things you never knew you needed to see.
She is the tide, the gentle glow of the moon, the waves crashing on the shore. She feels everything deeply, even though she doesn’t like to show it. Her shell may be hard and at times unbreakable but it is forever guarding her tender soul. Surely it is harder to break something soft rather than rigid. You touch her and she is far more real than anything you have ever felt before. Cosmic particles of moon dust line her veins. For she is like the moon, you’ll see her with a new face every day.
You can usually pick her out from a crowd – she’s the one with the loudest laugh, the brightest smile, and the most confident strut of them all. Her hair is a mane made of gold, and her skin glows like a sunset. She is an alpha, a lioness, a leader and a warrior. She may appear soft like a daydream, but she has a never ending inferno burning inside her.
She personifies innocence, purity and justice. Her earthly nature makes her exceedingly clever and analytical. All that is beautiful to her erupts in subtle, though magnificent spectacle. She’s a maiden & belongs to the pristine; always striving to bring order out of chaos.
Her charming personality is praiseworthy, her voice melodious, her heart just. To truly understand her, you must understand the riddle of the scales; forever balancing thoughts and emotions. She is a flower with hidden thorns & without her, life simply wouldn’t be as fair.
It’s all in her penetrating stare. Dark and calculating, her eyes are foreboding yet hypnotic. Powerful, passionate and intuitive. She wears strength and darkness equally well; half goddess, half hell. Nevertheless, she is divine, and in her eyes is where your soul is revealed.
She’s a restless wanderer; always hunting for new ideas and experiences. Her arrow symbolizes her desire for direction and a higher purpose. She’s the maven of adventure, the learned healer whose higher intelligence forms a bridge between heaven and earth.
Her determination is admirable, her self-containment powerful. She’s concrete, ambitious and in charge. Always leading loyally and achieving relentlessly. No mountain is high enough for her to climb, and her love is as stable as the earth.
She’s a mad scientist in her lab, inventing and creating night and day. Her rapid influx of thoughts and subsequent surprising actions make her unpredictable and rebellious. Anarchy is her specialty. Forever fighting valiantly for the soul of the world, she pours forth her wisdom and equilibrates your mind. She is dazzling and terrifying; those words are not as removed from one another as you may think. Always seeing a thin line between genius and insanity. She lives in the future and who she is comes in waves.
Ethereal, and deeply mysterious. Her mind swims at a depth most would drown in. She’s always floating in opposite directions, this represents her soul’s duality. She is the ultimate enchantress & her heart is an ocean of emotion; always dreaming of realms that only she may enter.
not sure if others have pointed this out yet but something has had me very ????? about the mural dizzee’s painting during his looks better now ;) conversation with thor. namely:
so i went looking for that BTS tweet of this scene. even though jaden’s wearing a shirt from a different scene, that’s obviously thor’s ripped pink shirt and the mural in front of them, which we can see a lot more of:
dizzee’s painting rumi and thor with THE WEIGHING OF THE HEART written overtop of them, which, okay, Anubis the Egyptian God of the Dead, weighing the hearts of those who determine if they could go to the afterlife. on the left looks like a depiction of the god Thoth, who recorded the findings of the heart weighing. if anyone wants to jump in and explain this better - please do!
the phrase makes sense because you can clearly see that rumi and thor are actually framed by a balance scale, with dizzee and thor’s bodies (sort of perfectly?) blocking the weighing pan on rumi’s side:
this fits really well with all of the references to death in this scene (the song that plays here, “i’m ready to die now,” etc.) and… i find it pretty reassuring?? i think it’s very indicative of dizzee’s last scene as a metaphorical death/becoming, and less about death and more about rebirth. it’s not foreshadowing; it’s a continuation of dizzee’s opera metaphor
especially because on April 8th stephen adly guirgis tweeted this to reassure fans about dizzee:
so, they left it open, but imo jaden’s coming back and this is all representative, as SAG says, of the journey dizzee’s taking to discover himself, sexuality, etc. dizzee’s also aware of how death has been a changing metaphor, ie: the construction of rumi the alien being killed at the opera, his development, he decides that rumi and thor are going to the opera, and dizzee just before this scene saying to boo “you gotta not apologize for being an alien”
and it’s fitting that most of this narrative happens around thor because that’s the only time dizzee’s allowed to be himself/free and with someone who understands him. also: you’re losing your vitamin C when they first meet to just one kiss from his lips is like taking vitamin C when they’re going to the party?? the fact that they’re literally, canonically confirmed to be in love with each other via dizzee’s POV??? dizzee and thor’s relationship being the entire reason mylene and the soul madonnas had their record played? the constant use of the word “free” in the show centering around them?? this show…. is not subtle about how important their relationship is
i could be pulling something out of nowhere, but TGD has always put significant thought into the details/art/music/dialogue/framing of each scene, so it feels important that this is here. if nothing else, it’s pretty interesting and i find it more comforting that dizzee is approaching the idea of “death” as a becoming and is entirely aware of it - the last scene being a hallucination makes a lot more sense imo with these visuals in mind
LOOK!! they are literally painting each other as their avatars here. the stripes on thor’s armour and rumi’s jacket. thor’s star. dizzee’s jacket cut into coattails. the tophat that thor puts on at one point and ends up by dizzee’s head on the mattress. they are in love and want to go on a journey together. we are blessed
The problem with some young goths and the unintentional erasure of the goth subculture
I’ve complained enough about elitists over the years and to be perfectly honest, elitists arent the only problematic members of the goth subculture. If you were to put goth on a scale it would be be broken up into three major groups.
On one end you would find the elitist group. A group of goths who believe that there is absolutely only one way of being goth and in order to be it you must abide by their strict rules. These are the people who prefer to bully other goths than keep their opinions to themselves. This group is usually on the smaller side because most goths dont like engaging with them because of the drama that they bring. But i’ve already discussed this group many times before.
In the middle of the scale we have a very balanced group of goths. This is also the largest group. This group encompasses thousands of goths around the world of different styles and ages. These goths believe that goth is a subculture and is something that should be respected. These goths are also very aware of where and when goth started and how. This group respects the music and though not everyone in this group listens to goth music, they are still very aware of its importance to the goth subculture. This is the best place to sit on the scale. These goths often feel that goth should not dictate who they are as a person but at the same time these goths feel that the history and the music should be respected.
Now we get to the last group that unfortunately has been growing in numbers over the past few years. This is the group that poses a threat to the preservation of goth as a subculture.
First, i’m going to start with a definition for the word “subculture”
A cultural group within a larger culture, often having beliefs or interests at variance with those of the larger culture
This means that a subculture is a smaller culture within a larger one and that there are specific values, beliefs and interests that divide this culture from the larger. So in order to be a part of a subculture you must have these same beliefs, interests, and values. Of course there is a ton of wiggle room when it comes to the goth subculture. Goth does not restrict you to these interests and values, but instead allows you to include your own. You can be goth and have non goth interests. You can be goth and listen to non goth music. Also the values that are often considered more mandatory are simply based on respect. Many will say that you dont have to limit yourself to listening to only goth music but, it is important to respect the music because the subculture, fashion, etc. wouldnt exist without it.
This is where problems arise. In the modern goth subculture, we are seeing more and more goths throwing these values out the window and ditching all respect for the subculture. These people are treating goth as more of a fashion statement than a culture. Goth was never meant to be a superficial concept lacking any depth or substance. Like punk, goth was a strange and amazing phenomenon that occurred at just the right moment in time. Goth was this thing that connected people through a love of dark music and a taste for the darker, stranger side of life. The fashion sort of came after and was mostly influenced by the artists producing these dark genres of music. So no matter how you look at it, goth music is really what kick started the whole thing
But many of these young, new goths dont care about that. They believe that goth is anything they say it is. When this is just not true. You cant walk up to a member of X subculture and tell him that his values and beliefs dont need to be respected and that X culture is completely subjective. Thats just not how subcultures work. Subcultures are not subjective. Goth as a subculture is not subjective. You can be a goth have your own views on the world. You can have your own interests and beliefs but goth is still a subculture and certain values NEED to be respected. If we dont respect these certain values than we risk losing our subculture.
By ignoring the history and beliefs of a subculture you are leading to its erasure. And if you know anything about today’s social issues, this should sound very familiar. We live in a time where all cultures, not just subcultures, run the risk of being erased due to racism, appropriation, the domination of mainstream cultures as well as other factors. So its important that we keep some of these values and continue to respect the history of goth as a subculture.
Unfortunately this is becoming harder and harder to do, with the rise in popularity of blogging and social media as an outlet for expressing one’s personal views and opinions. Many goth blogs on tumblr are getting popular for very superficial reasons such as fashion and aesthetic purposes. Its very easy for a blog that only posts goth fashion to become popular and though this isnt negative on its own when the person behind the blog starts divulging their opinions about the subculture, they already have a large follower base to listen to them.
So if this blogger who only cares about goth fashion, who doesnt respect the subculture starts pontificating on topics they know nothing about or respect, this will subsequently lead to a large number of less educated people to believe in misinformation about the subculture. If a popular blogger starts saying things like, “you dont need to respect or like goth music to be goth,” or, “you dont need to know anything about the history of goth to be goth” their followers will start to believe this, when its just not true.
If this keeps up like it is, eventually we are going to see a lot of young goths who dont care about the subculture. Who only want to be goth because “it looks cool” or “it scares my parents.” Goth will eventually become nothing more than a trend. Something a kid does for attention. This will also divide goths even more. You will start seeing a lot of older goths stop wanting anything to do with the younger generations and their lack of respect for the culture.
Yes goth should be something a person can have fun with but there is more that divides goths from the mainstream than just our look and many of us would like to keep it that way. Goth used to be about music, literature, art, philosophy and more. Goths were mature, refined and intelligent people who liked discussing topics such as philosophy and psychology. We were a cultured breed who enjoyed history and arts. Goth is not a gimmick. Its not a trend. Its a way of life and its a culture. And many of us are tired of seeing younger people try and ruin that.
And another thing. This is something that is not said enough and its so damn important. You do not need to be goth to like goth things. You dont have to restrict yourself to a label. Its okay to like goth things and not consider yourself goth, in fact i encourage it. If goth really is right for you, you will want to know everything about it naturally. You will feel a passion for learning about its music and history and above all, you will respect it. If not, maybe goth just isnt for you and thats okay. Even if you dont fit the label, you can still follow goth blogs and have goth friends and go to goth events but if you really want to preserve goth, you need to respect it as more than just an image. You need to respect it as a subculture that is rich with history, art and very importantly, music.
Aries the first sign of the greek zodiac, marking the beginning of spring and the start of a new cycle of life.
The story of Aries is linked with the myth of the Golden Ram, which saved two kids, a brother and a sister, from being sacrificed in order to appease the gods.
The next sign of the greek zodiac is the constellation of Taurus (bull), associated with the legend of Theseusand the Minotaur.
According to myth, Theseus volunteered to be one of the youths from Athens who would be offered as food to the horrible monster Minotaur (half man, half bull) who stayed in Crete, in the labyrinth. But, when he was there and with the help of Ariadne, the legendary hero managed to kill the beast and thus relieve his city Athens from the terrible punishment imposed by the Cretan king Minos.
The constellation of Gemini is the next sign of the greek zodiac. It is linked with the story of the twin brothers Castor and Polydeuces (Pollux in latin).Actually, they were not twins in the ordinary sense, since they had different fathers.
Their story starts when Zeus, king of the gods, wanted to have an affair with Leda, the lovely queen of Sparta. In order to fool her, he transformed himself into a beautiful swan.
In the course of time, Leda bore two eggs: One of them contained a baby girl named Helen (the same one who later was the cause of the Trojan War) and a boy called Pollux. These two were the divine children of Zeus.
The other egg opened up to reveal another girl and boy, Clytemnestra (who later became the wife of Agamemnon, the military leader of the Greeks in the Trojan War) and Castor. These were the mortal children of king Tyndareus, the legitimate husband of Leda.
Despite the fact that one brother was divine and the other mortal, the twins Castor and Pollux grew to be inseparable. They did everything together and they loved each other dearly.
Because they were so close, they were called by one name; the Dioscuri. As they were growing, they both loved all kinds of sport. Pollux was particularly good at boxing, while Castor was renowned for his skill and daring on horseback.
The constellation of the greek zodiac known as Cancer(Crab), is linked with the second labour of the mighty hero Hercules, when he was assigned by Eurystheus to kill Lerna Hydra, a horrible water snake with a hundred heads.
As the story goes, in the midst of Hercules’ struggle, Hera, who was the hero’s worst enemy, ordered a giant crab to go and help the Hydra by digging its claws into Hercules’ foot.
Howling with pain, the hero stamped on the crab furiously, crushing it to death.
Hera, being grateful for its support and in recognition of its attempt to help her, honoured the crab by placing its image among the stars, as the constellation of Cancer.
Leo, the fifth constellation of the greek zodiac, is linked with Hercules’ very first labour, the capture of the Nemean Lion.
According to the myth, Hercules finally managed to kill the beast by strangling it to death. Then, he skinned the lion and took its pelt to wear it. He was then quite protected from his enemies, as the skin could not be penetrated from any known weapon of the time whether made of iron, bronze or stone.
After its death, the famous lion was put on the sky by Zeus, to become the constellation of Leo.
The constellation of Virgo is associated with the story of Demeter and her daughter Persephone. For the ancient Greeks, the story of Demeter and Persephone helped to explain why the seasons change.
The stars that form the golden scales of Libra lie halfway around the band of the greek zodiac, between Virgo and Scorpio.
Day and night are equal when the sun passes through the constellation of Libra. The scales are a symbol of balance and equity.
More specifically, the scales were considered to be the symbol of Dike, meaning Justice, who was a minor goddess of the Underworld.
The fact that the ancient greeks gave Libra a prominent place in the sky, signifies that they considered justice, equity and balance in general, to be the moral cornerstones of an ideal way of living.
The eighth constellation of the greek zodiac is the one with the name Scorpio. The story of the scorpion is connected with different versions of stories that involve the mighty hunter Orion- a hero who is represented by another familiar group of stars.
Orion was said to be the tallest and the most handsome man of the then known world. He was often seen hunting in the woods and hills of ancient Greece with his pack of dogs. His constellation shows him striding across the heavens flourishing a gleaming sword on his bejewelled belt.
Many of the stories concerning the constellations of Orion and Scorpio reflect the annual rising and setting of their constellations, which appear to pursue each other across the sky.
One story tells how Gaia had sent the scorpion to sting Orion, in order to punish him for being too boastful, claiming that he was so mighty that he could easily rid the whole earth of all beasts and creatures.
As soon as the scorpion was released from the breast of Gaia, it immediately stung Orion and its deadly venom sent him straight to his death.
The scorpion was set up on the sky by Gaia to mark her victory, while goddess Artemis, who had loved Orion, placed his image on the sky as well, forming his own constellation. Because Orion had cared so much for his hunting dog, Artemis also put up a star for his dog: This is Sirius, the brightest star in the heavens.
There is another story about Orion and the scorpion.
One day, when Orion was out in the woods, he caught sight of seven beautiful sisters, the daughters of Atlas and Pleione. Orion loved them all at first sight and began to chase after them.
The sisters, however, were terrified and cried out to Zeus to save them.
Zeus heard their pleas and helped them by turning them first into doves, so they could fly away from Orion, and then into the seven stars which are now called Pleiades.
According to myth, Orion was stung by the scorpion as a punishment for chasing the seven sisters. Zeus decided that the constellations of Orion and the Pleiades were arranged in the heavens, so that it seemed that Orion was in constant pursuit of the seven sisters, without ever becoming successful, just as the Scorpio seems always to be chasing Orion, without ever touching him.
The constellation of Sagittarius (the archer),depicts a creature called centaur, which has the body and head of a man and the hindquarters of a horse.
He is named after Cheiron, the most famous and king of the centaurs. He was semi-divine, as he was the son of god Poseidon. He was taught by god Apollo and goddess Artemis, and from them he learned both wisdom and spirituality.
He dwelt in a cave high up in the rocky, snowy sides of Mount Pelion. He was the oldest and wisest of all the centaurs and very strong. In fact, he was so famous, that many kings had trusted their sons to teach them. Among the most famous of his students were Hercules, and Jason, who later became the leader of the argonauts.
As the myth goes, Cheiron was destined to suffer a gruesome death: When Hercules was returning home to Tiryns after killing the Erymanthian Boar, he had a violent encounter with some drunken centaurs, which he managed to drive away near the place where Cheiron lived.
By accident, however, one of the poisonous arrows that Hercules used to defend himself from his attackers, went astray and hit his old teacher. Cheiron, being semi-divine, would not die, having to suffer an excruciating pain, because of the poison.
He was in such an agony, that Zeus himself felt sorry for the poor centaur and permitted him to give up his divine status and give it to Prometheus, the creator of the human race. So, Cheiron finally was let to die, relieved from the intolerable pain that was inflicted on him from the wound.
The constellation of the greek zodiac by the name of Capricorn, is as strange as that of Sagittarius. It is a sea god, with the head and half the body of a goat, and the tail of a fish.
The story of Capricorn is associated with the birth of Zeus, the father of all gods.
As the story goes, when Rhea gave birth to baby Zeus, she feared that her cruel husband Cronus would devour her child, just as he did with the previous ones that she gave birth to.
So, she secretly took her child to Crete, where he was safely kept in a cave on Mount Dicte. There, he was nursed and cared for by Amaltheia, whose name means “tender”. She was a goat nymph, and she looked after baby Zeus with the greatest love and devotion, feeding him on her own rich milk and sweet lavender-scented honey.
Zeus’s golden cradle was hung high upon a tree so that Cronus would never find him in Heaven or Earth, or even in the ocean.
When Zeus later became the lord of the universe, he did not forget his goat-mother, Amaltheia, who had nursed him so lovingly. He took one of her horns and turned it into the horn of plenty, which is always filled with whatever delicious food or drink its owner may wish for, and is never empty.
Finally, in recognition of all she had done for him, she set her image among the rest of stars on the greek zodiac, as the constellation of Capricorn.
The constellation of Aquariusshows a person pouring water out of a jug. It is thought that the story behind this group of stars is that of Ganymede.
Ganymede was the son of king Tros, after whom Troy was named. The young prince was the most exquisite and handsome youth that ever lived, and was adored and admired by both gods and mortals.
Zeus, who was especially fond of beautiful people, was totally infatuated with Ganymedes’s external appearance. Thinking it would be appropriate for so handsome a mortal as Ganymede to live with the gods, the mighty god disguised himself as an enormous eagle. He then flew down to Earth, captured the handsome youth and brought him up to Olympus.
Up there on the heavenly palace, Zeus had to find a job for his young protegee. So, he decided that Ganymede should be given the special honour of being his personal cupbearer.
The position was considered to be highly distinguished, since the person who was assigned the duty of the cupbearer, was responsible for pouring into the glasses of the Olympians the divine drink called nectar. This was the special drink that bestowed on the gods their eternal youth and vigor.
Zeus was forever fond of his cupbearer. So, he honoured him by giving him a prominent position on the greek zodiac, as the constellation of Aquarius.
The image of the two fish swimming in different directions make the constellation of Pisces.
Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty, was thought to be the source of inspiration for this particular constellation being set in the stars.
After Zeus had fought his father, Cronus, he defeated the race of the giants, who were the children of Gaia, the mother earth.
In revenge for the destruction of her children, Gaia gave birth to a horrible monster, called Typhon. He was the largest and most frightening creature ever born. From the thighs down he was a mass of coiled snakes, while his arms were so long that when he spread them out he reached a hundred leagues each way.
Let loose by his mother Gaia, Typhon thundered towards the Olympian home of the gods, declaring war on all of them. The gods hurried to disguise themselves, in the hope that the horrible creature would not find them:
Zeus took the image of a ram; Hera, became a white cow; Artemis became a cat; Hermes turned into an ibis, while Ares became a wild boar.
Lastly, the goddess Aphrodite and her son Eros, dived deep into the ocean and took the shape of twin fish.
When the fierce monster was finally captured by Zeus and all of the Olympians were transformed back to their original form, Aphrodite, being grateful to the fish who had lent their form to her and her son when they were in distress, put up their image on the night sky. Thus, Pisces became the last constellation of the greek zodiac.
“Libra is an Air sign and represented by the symbol of the Balancing Scales.
They are often surrounded by art, music and beautiful places.
Libra-born prefer justice and equality, and they cannot tolerate injustice.
People born under this sign are considered to be attractive and fashion-conscious.”
Libra is the balanced, fair and lover of harmony and peace so I used neutral colors. The headdress contains Libra’s lucky stones/birthstones such as Moonstone, Smokey Quartz and Opal.
When I was younger, a lot of people would approach me awkwardly. “Wow, you’d be so pretty if you stopped wearing all those boy’s clothes!” or “Wow, you’d be so pretty if you’d let me give you a makeover!” Sometimes, these people had somewhat good intentions, others were waiting for the moment to join the crowd that bullied me. I experienced all the fake smiles and snickers behind my back. We all know how this goes. Your friends and your family tell you you’re beautiful. They tell you, “oh, honey, don’t listen to them.” You’ve grown accustomed to thinking “well, they are my family/friends, of course they say this to me.” Well, reality check sweetcheeks, you are indeed beautiful. After many years of soul searching and trying to figure out my self worth, sexuality, and gender identity, I’ve finally embraced my own version of beauty.
I’ve mostly presented masculine during my lifetime. However, it comes to a shock to people when I discuss my dating history with men. I’m pansexual/omnisexual, which means I experience attraction despite someone’s biological sex or gender identity. So with that being said, with being masculine presenting, and dating women, the word dyke was heard a lot. I was told to stop lying about my sexuality, to stop looking at men, to stop dating men, because it was a mere cover-up for my lesbianism. This, however, was before discovering my gender identity. I felt stupid not being able to explain how being boyish didn’t correlate whether or not I could be attracted to men or be deserving of any man taking a second look at me. I was made to believe I needed to prove my femininity, which made it even less believable for some.
I love the feel of sweatpants and tank tops, but I also find myself in lust with the “girlish” things in life; make-up, cuddling, teddy bears, cute throw pillows on the bed. Even in same-sex relationships, I have found myself wanting to be the little spoon or be the one to take 30 minutes to look pretty. The only response I would receive is “oh, that’s kind of weird.” I researched for years what this could’ve been called. At first, I was almost willing to give people what they wanted, and acknowledge myself as a boy trapped in a girl’s boy, but that didn’t feel right. I dressed in drag a few times and it felt great. It felt great when I was dolled up too though. I realized with time and research that I was genderfluid but was unfortunately quiet about it for a very long time.
More specifically, the type of genderfluidity I experience is called being fluidflux. This means my gender and the intensity of my gender changes. I loved days where I was feminine, I loved days where I was masculine, I loved days where I was a little in between, or days I didn’t really feel like either. It felt like a balancing scale that my brain would tip in whichever direction it felt like, but I learned to enjoy the ride, though tough at times. Midday switches can suck!
My version of beauty is different than what most are used to. So let me take a second to say this: fuck your standards of beauty. What is beauty to you? Is beauty painting your face everyday with endless amounts of make-up? Is it laying down at just the right angle when you take a selfie so your cleavage shows? Is it pouting your lips and poking out your hips when an attractive fellow walks by? Is it filtering your speech so you don’t offend anyone with your somehow masculine tone and language? Here’s an idea: maybe this is only considered beauty to you because this is what society has conditioned you to believe is beauty. As cliche as it sounds, we all have our own brand of beauty.
So you might ask… what do I believe is beauty? Beauty is being confident in who you are no matter how you present or what kind of clothes you wear. When I present female, I’m beautiful. When I present male, I’m beautiful (and hella handsome, might I add!). When I present female with a touch of masculinity, I’m beautiful. When I present male with a touch of femininity, I’m beautiful. When I present a mix of both female and male, I’m beautiful. When I walk out of the house in plain attire, not really sure where I am on the scale that day, leaving the world to decide what the hell I am, I’m still beautiful.
Beauty is leggings, beauty is jeans, beauty is sweatpants, beauty is skirts, beauty is basketball shorts. Beauty is a bun, a fohawk, a ponytail, hair straightened, hair curly, hair spiky. Beauty is make-up, beauty is natural. Beauty is baggy clothes, beauty is skin tight. Beauty sees no specific sexual orientation. Beauty sees no specific gender. Beauty is whatever you decide. Beauty is whatever you make it. Beauty, my dear, is your invention, and do with that beauty as you will. You are beautiful as you are, don’t be told otherwise.
Libra moons seem very hard for people to understand. And I think most people just tie them in with stereotypical libra traits, being ruled by venus especially. They mostly get being “superficial” thrown in their face a lot. Libra is ruled by venus; the planet of beauty, harmony, and love/affection. Naturally those with moon in libra value these things very much. But there is obviously more to them than just caring about avoiding conflict and finding the beauty in everything they see. Libra also rules the 7th house of relationships, marriage, open enemies, lawsuits, etc., making them very diplomatic people. Libra moon individuals are highly concerned with their relationships, specifically their intimate/romantic relationships with others. The moon represents our needs and what makes us feel secure and nurtured; this is what relationships provide to libra moons. This, however, gets so twisted and hyper extended that it leads to people saying that these people cannot survive without relationships and become manic without them which is just simply false. It literally just means that they take their relationships seriously and will avoid sabotaging or causing conflict within them by all means. Libra moons are very considerate people too, they just do not like wasting their time. They put their input in when they feel it is needed and will provide benefit to the other person as well as themselves. Remember libra is the scales (balance). If libra moon feels their input would be a waste of time, or the person simply would not care, they will keep it to themselves. Libra moon individuals experience pain on a high level at times as well, which fluctuates a lot (remember, scales). They go from anger to peace, up and down, and they must be able to see the lasting impact of the decision or what has hurt them in order to make sense of it. They believe the world is made up of cause and effect, give and take backs.
Moon in libra individuals are also very idealistic and dreamy people, making this a very creative and artistic placement for the moon. They usually are avid readers, finding peace and relaxation in words that speak of fantasy. It’s important for these people to have relaxation time and think it is much needed to take time out of their day in order to prepare for the next.
If you understand or if you don’t If you believe or if you doubt There’s a universal justice And the eyes of truth Are always watching you
Libra is the cosmic energy of justice and associates with morality, righteousness, and objectivity. Revered in both myth and material, the judge is an esteemed member of society, capable of generating law bound by conscious impartiality and morale. On a shaking tightrope, the Libra is constantly striving for balance, easily shaken by a hidden sensitivity and sharp intellect. There is a natural diplomacy the Libra thought process follows, constantly integrating multiple perspectives and attempting to find the neutral mid point. This can be maddening and chaotic inside for the Libra, where they are forced to insert incredible judgment amongst conscience and concern. Libra and the 7th house rules the lower court, legislation, and legality. Saturn exalts in Libra, and Saturn governs all forms of Karmic Law, authority, justice, and diplomacy. These domains of life express cohesively in the Libra archetype.
Libra self mediates with highly developed righteousness. And Libra is an incredible dreamer, but intense psychological precision must be inserted into every decision or judgment. The use of justice systems, contracts, and law provides the social cohesion and bliss Libra envisages, because equality and virtue becomes rule. Libra is not where law becomes corrupt or amoral. Libra is the purest expression of bringing oppositions into balance, restoring inequality, and maintaining peace through divisions of principles. They retain all the cheques and balances in order and reins in the laws upon which civilised society conducts itself. The function of the Scales is to balance the ‘system’. The Egyptians saw the sacred Scale of Ma’at. Ma’at as the goddess of balance, justice, truth, and order. It was She who kept the universe from drifting into chaos. At death, a human’s heart was measured on Her scales against a feather. This determined if the individual had lived harmoniously with natural laws and could move on to the next realm. Souls too heavy were immediately devoured by demons. The responsibility of Ma’at expresses through Libra, who upholds this grand cosmic duty with grace. Libras conceive the undercurrent of universal justice and recite this through thought and action.
Libras do not believe that calling out inequality or sexism makes one a victim, but is rather empowering and declaring of social destruction. The young Libra can live in an unruly world of wild oppositions in which they swing wildly between. The scales come into balance with age, experience, self reflection, and developing a sense of proportion with the use of discrimination and judgment. When the scales are not balanced, the Libra can become heavy hearted, reactive, vulnerable, sad, and lonely, while the mind is in high, chaotic flight. Intuition must be weighed with intellect to bring pure morale, retribution and righteous answers to light. There is a sensual nature of Venus that glosses the airy Libra mind, it gives Libras an ability to see a beautiful or reformed society that they promote with natural law. The Libra scales tend to tip on the side of other and away from the self, expressing their devotion to people and decency. As God’s appointed judge of the cosmos, in divine eyes Libra is forever your honour.
So I’m reading Heir to the Empire for the first time, and in the second chapter there’s a passage that just…really leaps out to me:
“‘Then I’m alone, [Luke] thought, I’m the last of the Jedi.’
[Luke] seemed to hear Ben’s voice, faint, and indistinct, as if from a great distance. "Not the last of the old Jedi, Luke. The first of the new.”“
So, we know that Lucasfilm is drawing from the EU (Han and Leia having a kid go to the darkside, Thrawn’s spectacular return, ect.) So why not draw from one of the most popular Star Wars novels?
What if the title isn’t referring to "the Last Jedi” like in existence, but of the Last “traditional” Jedi. They reference “the balance” between the light and the dark, so what if they’re wanting to create a new order: an order of Grey Jedi.
The balance. Not the last of the old Jedi, but the first of the new…

Ram is seldom sorrowful. Their natural optimism keeps them cheerful and
excitable. Aries is not immune to sorrow, though. Their reaction to such is
usually through distractions by being active (think of Tony Stark in Iron Man
3). They’ll keep themselves busy, because doing things is better than feelings
things. When their sorrows do bubble to the surface, it is likely they’ll seem
angry, because that, too, is easier for them to handle. On the other hand,
Aries may cope by discussing their best traits, or the things happening in
their life. This, too, is a sort of distraction for them - talking about the
good can help them forget about the bad.
those who are closest to the Bull will ever see even a glimpse of their sorrow.
Taurus individuals prefer to isolate themselves when they are affected by their
sorrow. They won’t usually cry unless they are alone. They also have a tendency
to temporarily stop talking to everyone as they try to work through whatever
has them upset. When around people, Taurus will bury everything, and choose
instead to be cheerful, and silly. They’ll focus all of their energy in taking
care of every else.
plagued with sorrow, the twins usually try to ignore it. They aren’t fond of
unnecessary emotions. However, when something can’t simply be ignored, it tends
to fester under their surface, causing them to erupt with anger and criticism
that may seem source-less. When they aren’t lashing out, Gemini can feel an
uncomfortable sense of restlessness. They may feel as if they absolutely need
to be doing something other than what they are presently doing. This
restlessness may manifest as a sort of irritability. When Gemini properly identifies
the cause of their anger, they will try to apply logic to it. This can often be
seen when they place labels of mental illness upon themselves, or simply by
blaming it on the events leading up to it, or the people they believe to have

may be obvious that Cancer is upset, even if the reason is kept to themselves.
These people tend to have difficulty seeing past their intense emotions, so may
seem recluse during the times that they are burdened with sorrow. However,
Cancers also can be very open to people they consider close, and will often
talk to their loved one about what’s going on.
to Aries, the Lion isn’t usually burdened by sorrow. When Leo is upset,
however, they will not usually make a big display of it. As flamboyant as Leo’s
are, they need to protect their public image. Tears aren’t something they want
associated with their name. In fact, Leo’s are so skilled at hiding their
misery, that they can often hide it from themselves. When behind closed doors,
though, they are prone to outburst Whether it’s via temper tantrums or
fits of sobbing can vary greatly from person to person. Typically, these Fire
Signs busy themselves by focusing on the affairs of others.
ever vigilant perfectionist, the Virgin often see sorrow as a weakness they’d
rather do without. That’s not to say they’re impervious to such feelings - they
simply have a tendency towards burying it. Virgo’s will often choose productivity
instead. Whether that be reorganizing, cleaning, completing, or being
productive. Virgo’s aren’t the first to open up about their sorrow, but if
you’re close to one, they just might. They aren’t the type to mope and cry
about it, but even stating that it exists is a big step for them.

you’ll notice is that they won’t be as talkative as normal. They’ll withdraw
into their thoughts, only speaking when spoken to, though their tone will

friendly conversations as if there’s nothing at all wrong with the world (save
homelessness, and the other humanitarian causes they are involved in).

“You want that to happen to you (story of the three men who sought refuge in a cave)? It is not impossible, that is why the Prophet (ﷺ) taught us this. If you want that to happen to you, Ramaḍān is the best time to stock up on secretive, sincere deeds. Let nobody know about them, you yourself try to forget about them. The days go by, life is pregnant with its trials and tribulations, after years maybe a child will get sick, maybe cancer, pain, poverty, may Allāh safeguard all of you from all that. Then you raise your hand, you say O Allāh I have that deed and I did it in secrecy and sincerely for Your sake, O Allāh grant me riddance from this trouble that I am facing. Or forget about it all together and let Allāh remind you of it when it is placed in your scale on the balance on Judgment Day. Wallāhil- ‘Adhīm Allāh will remind you of it.
