Eternity (Stefan/Caroline Fanfic)

My version of the finale. Basically the ultimate fix-it fic. I needed to write this to heal and this is canon for me now. I hope you guys like it.

Dedicated to the entire steroline fandom.

Time slowed down, each millisecond an eternity.

Stefan’s eyes hurt, looking straight ahead, at the white-hot hellfire roaring towards him and Katherine.

His heart beat at a million miles an hour, and dread filled his chest. He felt numb, and terrified, and more miserable than he had ever, ever felt in his one hundred and seventy years alive.

This was it.

This is how he died, on his wedding day, immolating himself in fire.

Uh, what was he doing?

Dear Future Husband || Klaroline

Klaroline Infinity Day 2 - Pre-canon

Thirteen was an ugly age for Caroline: braces, frizzy hair, her parents’ bitter divorce. But there was a part of her that knew she was destined for more, and she kept her hopes high. She probably shouldn’t have put them in writing, though…

She squeezed her knees tighter to her chest, digging her bright orange nails into the skin of her palms. Maybe it was babyish to hide in her parents’ closet, but she didn’t want to go outside. Instead, she cowered in the dark and recently half-emptied closet, waiting for her mother to track her down.

Damn those cop instincts.

The door slid open, and Liz poked her head inside. “Sweetie,” she said in that sternly sweet voice. “It’s time to say goodbye.”

“No.” Caroline hated the tears burning in her eyes; she wished she would never cry again. “I shouldn’t have to say goodbye because he shouldn’t be leaving.”

“Your father is waiting.”

[ cooking class ]

pairing; seventeen mingyu x reader

genre; fluff, humor

synopsis; y/n was dragged to a cooking class by her friend, but due to last minute circumstances, her best friend couldn’t make it. a total newbie at cooking, y/n couldn’t help but make a mess out of everything. mingyu voluntarily pairs up with her so she’d be able to get something done.

word count; 1101 words

“No, that’s fine,” I said, my voice laced with sarcasm. “That’s totally fine, you just happened to move up a few ranks on my to-kill list.”

“Y/N!” Caroline exclaimed. “It’s not my fault that my little brother decided to do his somersaults down the stairs today!”

I laughed. “Alright, alright. Send my regards to your lil’ brother.”

I heard Caroline heave a sigh of relief on the other end of the phone, probably at the fact that she realized I wasn’t mad.

“Thanks, sweetheart.”

“You’re welcome, pumpkin.”

The both of us giggled like 12-year-olds, and hung up after saying our goodbyes.

Caroline and I planned to go for a cooking class that day. Actually, we didn’t plan to. Caroline had been finding interest in cooking these days, but all I liked about the kitchen was about it having food to eat. She didn’t have anyone else to follow her to the cooking class, so she pretty much blackmailed me with my ‘best friend position’ to tag along with her.

So I did. And this happens.

I sighed, pulling out a pair of jeans — that was my regular. I looked around my closet, wondering what top I should wear. It was cold out, so I chose a turtleneck sweater.

I quickly dressed, and put on simple makeup to cover any imperfections on my skin. I wasn’t a huge makeup guru, but I used it sometimes.

I checked the time. I had another hour before the class started. I needed around 45 minutes to get there, so I planned to leave the house in around ten minutes.

I sighed. Caroline was pretty much the big reason why I agreed to go. She was, with no doubt, pretty good at cooking. I wouldn’t worry much if I cooked with her, because even if I started a fire, she’d probably put it out with a soup she boiled.

Exaggeration, but you get it.

I suddenly worry for my own life. I’d probably kill myself in the kitchen; chop off a finger or two.

I reached the cooking class ten minutes early. The bus driver was quick on the road today.

I was led to a empty area with seats, probably a mini waiting area. I looked around, and pretty much everyone had their friends with them. Even those who looked like they came alone seemed experienced.

We were all led into a large cookery room, and everyone stood in front of a single working area. Those who came in pairs were allowed to work together. We put on the aprons they provided, and started on the class.

Each working area had the basic needs for cooking — a stove, pots and pans, cutlery, and a few cooking ingredients which I was clueless about.

The chef told us that we’d be making cupcakes that day, and I saw a ray of hope. I mean, cupcakes wouldn’t be that hard to make, right?

The moment I started, I became a confused mess. Everyone seemed to be following the chef’s instructions well, but I was just lost. I managed to catch one part of what she said, and added butter and sifted flour into the mixing bowl.

Now, I mix it. I think.

I turned on the hand-held mixer, and it started spinning like crazy, as if possessed. The mixture started splattering out of its bowl, and I couldn’t hold the bowl in place.

“Shoot,” I blurted, at a loss of what the hell I should do.

Out of the blue, another hand grabbed the mixer from me, flipping the switch to ‘0′ speed. The mixer slowed down until it came to a complete stop, and I exhaled, exhausted already.

I looked to my right, expecting to see the chef beside me, but it wasn’t her.

It was a complete stranger who had been using the other end of the table. Each table had two working areas, and he happened to be alone at the other side. I noticed him before we had started the class. He was extremely handsome.

“Um,” I stuttered. “Thank you.”

I catch sight of the mixture that had splattered on him, mostly on his apron. “I’m so sorry…” I trailed off.

The stranger laughed. “It’s alright,” he said easily. “Do you mind if I worked with you? I think you’d need some help.”

I narrowed my eyes, and he quickly defended his words. “I meant that in the good way.”

I smiled, and nodded. “That’d be nice.”

He went back to his working area and cleaned up whatever he had used. He hadn’t started on the mixture, so he just left the ingredients in their original places before coming back.

“I think it’d be better to introduce ourselves real quick so we’d work better,” he said. “I’m Mingyu. 20. Nice to meet you.”

I laughed. “Y/N. I’m 19.”

“Great, I’m a year older,” he said, starting to mix the batter again.

“Why’d you come for this cooking class? You don’t look like one who is interested to cook,” he said. “No offense.”

“None taken,” I said, chuckling. “That’s true. I’m not interested. My friend and I were supposed to come together, but she bailed the last minute because of an accident that happened.”

“That explains,” he said, finishing up the mixing of the batter. “You wanna put the mix into the paper cups?”

“Nothing bad can come out of transferring the batter, right?” I said apprehensively, holding the mixing bowl and scooping some up onto the wooden spoon.

Mingyu snickered. “I don’t think so.”

I managed to finish dividing the batter equally onto the paper cups, and they were placed onto a tray before being put into the oven.

“We’re done, right?” I asked.

“Kind of. We’ll decorate it after it’s baked,” Mingyu told me. “That is just based on your creativity, so it’ll probably be doable.”

Right after the cupcakes were done, we took them out of the oven and started decorating. I just did simple designs of frosting here and there, and it turned out quite decent.

“You have a talent for decorating,” Mingyu complimented. “Maybe just not the process of cooking.”

I growled playfully.

The class ended soon, and we were allowed to bring back the cupcakes. Mingyu and I took 4 each.

We both left the cookery lab together, and stopped outside.

“Thanks for today,” I said to him. “You saved me from burning down the building.”

Mingyu laughed. “No problem. You were a great partner to work with.”

I looked down, smiling in embarrassment.

“Do you mind if we… exchange numbers?” he said hesitantly.

I shook my head. “Of course not.”

We both exchanged numbers, and went our separate ways after saying a few more sentences.

I never thought going to a cooking class alone could be this good.

Thanks, Caroline.

How serious are we to take SC (even if they were married for 2hrs) when 4 seasons ago Caroline called Tyler the love of her life yet she felt nothing when he died & didn't even get a goodbye or scene together ever again? Like tvd writers are so terrible at ending relationships & moving on in a non-shitty way. Now I just hope TO gets canned & be happy that JP is gone completely.

I mean I can’t take SC seriously when this is Stefan saying goodbye to Elena:

and this is Stefan saying goodbye to Caroline:

He might as well have added “as a friend” at the end of that sentence.

He is your first love….I intend to be your last.

Just a reminder for my lovely Klaroline fandom that some times tends to overeact and freak out. There is a difference between a current -temporary- closure that allows people to move on until the time is right, from an endgame. Especially in a genre that is a tale about immortals and eternal promises.

Between someone’s first love and between their last there is also the in between. The one that matures you. With more people and relationships coming and going. The space in between that seems  as if the distance contains oceans that keep you apart from that promise… but it is that space that changes you and teaches you how to reach your last love. Every lesson becoming a step to the unavoidable destination.

Maybe in a day…in a year…of even in a century.

However long it takes.

Runaway Salvatore Part 2:
Damon imagine:

“God I’m such a hypocrite"you mumbled to yourself as you packed your bags.

If Damon could leave without anyone questioning his actions then so could you.
But the difference was you weren’t leaving Mystic Falls for good, you were going on a last minute holiday.

You figured that traveling around Europe for a couple of months would help you clear your head. You even hoped to meet someone that could take your mind off Damon.

"Are you really sure about this y/n?"Bonnie sat on your chair.

"Yeah I mean, it’s so sudden"Caroline agreed as she helped you pack.

"I’m 100% sure, this is needed. You guys can still come with me you know"you smiled at your best friends.

"I would love to, but I have some things to sort out back here"Bonnie frowned.

"Mom said that I need to get my grades up so that means more studying, we’ll definitely come next time though"Caroline replied.

"And whilst your gone we’ll take care of everything for you"Stefan smiled as he walked into your room.
He had offered to drive you to the airport.

"Thanks guys, I honestly don’t know what I’d do without you"you hugged your friends close and finished packing.

"You ready to go y/n?"Stefan asked.

"I’m so ready"you squealed excitedly after saying goodbye to Bonnie and Caroline.
The drive to the airport was relaxed, You and Stefan had a laugh and it was nice catching up with him. You listened to music and you both found that you had a lot in common.

When you reached the airport Stefan sat with you for a while.
"Stefan, I know me and you aren’t as close as me and Damon were but I just want you to know that I’m here for you. And I also wanted to thank you”

“For what y/n?"Stefan looked confused.

"For being there for us, I did notice you know. All those times when you saved us. Your smart and you always want to do the right thing. I respect that"you nodded.

Stefan was surprised at your words. Instead of replying he pulled you in for a tight hug.
"My plane is going to be here soon so you’d better get going"you grinned as you lightly nudged his arm.

You said your last goodbyes and Stefan set off home.

Elena was also at the airport, her bags surrounding her as she waited for Damon. Her plane had arrived and she stood up frowning.
On the other side of the building you gathered your things and walked towards the gates.

Damon parked his car and rushed towards the airport, his suitcase close behind him.
He ran to find the girl he loved before she boarded the plane.
Elena stood at the front of her queue; she glanced at her watch every couple of minutes.
You stood at the front of your queue tapping your foot impatiently, wondering what was causing the hold-up.

Damon sprinted down the queue, pushing and shoving everyone that was in his way; until finally he made it.

"Sorry I’m late"Damon smiled…

Who do you think Damon chose?
Did he run down y/n’s Queue? Or did Damon rush to find Elena?

-Sorry if this sucked btw x

32 & Damon Salvatore :-)

Damon Salvatore - “I think I’m in love with you and I’m terrified.”

You were not going to tell him tonight. You couldn’t tell him. You were just going to leave Mystic Falls behind, start a new life like everyone advised you to and say goodbye. You had to say goodbye. Caroline would kill you if you skipped the party she was throwing you. You just weren’t sure if you wanted to see Damon again. He made you uncomfortable, made you want to get away from him as fast as you could because you knew it wouldn’t end well if you’d stay. Not for you, not for anyone around you.

“Come in, Y/N…” Of course it had to be Damon opening the door when you arrived at his house where the party would be. He seemed to smirk slightly when you felt your heart speed up at the sight of him and you really hoped you saw that wrong.
“I have to say, I didn’t think you’d be serious when you said you were leaving. Everyone says they leave, no one ever does.” Damon proved himself right the moment you entered the living room, where everyone was gathered for your goodby party.

You had no idea who put the cup of beer in your hand, but you gulped it down eagerly before grabbing another one. If you had to get through tonight, you’d better get slightly buzzed. Someone even managed to get you dancing when you were three or four beers later. You kind of lost count. Until you landed in Damon Salvatore’s arms. Typically your luck.

“You’re not gettig out of here without at least one last dance, Y/N.”, he grinned while he swirled you around. “You’ll have to admit I’m by far the best dancer in the room here…”,he grinned while he was holding you tight when the music had changed.

“I think I’m in love with you and I’m terrified.” You suddenly wanted to get out of his arms. You were as sober as you could get when you realized what you had said. He wasn’t supposed to know that. You were just supposed to leave, forget about him and forget about that stupid crush you had had for a few years now. He could not know.

But now he knew. And he didn’t even sneer like you had expected him to when you imagined telling him.
“That’s… an interesting confession.”, he smiled down at you while he still refused to let you go.

“I was not supposed to have said that. I was drunk. Just… act like it never happened, ok?” You would be gone anyway the next day. That way it would be less embarrassing for everyone.

“And what if I don’t want that?” He raised his eyebrows while he steered the two of you away from the rest of the crowd, closing the door to the kitchen behind him, which left the two of you alone. “They always say that you tell the truth if you’re drunk, so…” He put a hand on your heart. “And even though your heart is doing a lot of strange things tonight, it didn’t skip a beat when you confessed that.” He smiled when he pulled you even closer to him. “Maybe I’ll have to find a way to convince you to stay anyway.”, he said before kissing you.

We had just taken a family portrait for the Christmas card and Jack had run upstairs to change to go play golf–he was saying goodbye to Caroline.” - Jacques Lowe

I Can Fly is a classic book of verses for children that is still in print. Jackie shared her love of reading with her children. When Caroline was 3, Jackie taught her to recite two short poems by Edna St. Vincent Millay as a surprise for Jack.

I haven’t done a rant in a long fucking time about TVD, and if you know me well my rants usually tend to include Tyler and Trevino pretty much. ANYWAYS, tonight’s episode reminded me why I stopped watching the show in the first place ; how they have always treated Tyler as a character and Trevino have been my number one reasons to stop. First off, I will admit that I did cry over that Parkwood scene because Tyler has lost enough people in the past six seasons and the fact that he had to kill the girl that he loved in order to live was fucking messed up. And triggered Tyler has always made me sob because I hate when he’s in pain. ANYHOW aside from that, the ending was fucked up. First off we see Tyler running away after he bites Kai and then we see him for like 2 seconds during a Tylena scene, and that’s all we see of him? No proper goodbye, no anything? Like I completely understand that Elena was the main character, I get that but Trevino has been part of the show for 6 fucking seasons, and Tyler has gone through so many hardships in that time and we get nothing for that? Like there could’ve at least been a goodbye scene with Matt or instead of throwing Steroline in at the end it could’ve been Tyler saying goodbye to Caroline. But no, Plec wanted to cater to a ship instead of saying goodbye to another beloved character. I just don’t fucking get it, I really don’t. I didn’t get any closure out of that and I just feel like Tyler got fucked over like always, just as Trevino seemed to as well. I’m honestly so glad I gave up on this show and stopped when I did, otherwise I’d be more livid than I am now. And I can only hope that Plec gets backlash for not only screwing Tyler Stan’s over, but Liv, Jo, etc’s stans as well.

And I really wish Trevino the best of luck in getting a better show or that he gets to star in a movie or just something because he fucking deserves it.
