“I suppose it’s safe to say neither of us entered for the right reasons.” Tobias glowered. “For The Savior. And for glory.”

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

‭Revelation‬ ‭21‬:‭3-5‬ KJV

Benezet held gentle his Draenic prayer beads, letting dangle the diamond-shaped stone that joined the thick twine. He was then on Draenor, kneeling in the great Karabor Temple. The grand chamber in which he knelt was several stories high, terraced as it rose to a peaked ceiling. Around him shone moonlight through the stained windows, hues of purple and blue. It was cool, comfortable, as tranquil as it could be. The Draenei about where also kneeling, deep in meditative prayer before a great stone monolith, carved with ancient Draenic art, ancient even for them, with a great hole near its top.

It was a relic of Argus, of their lost home, infused with the blessings of the Naaru. It drew even Benezet in, feeling a fine chill through his veins in its presence, like liquid silk washing clean the sand within him.

Behind him sang the choir, lifting up praises to their Naaru saviors in glory of the Light.

“Light have mercy…Light have mercy…” he prayed, counting along the string of beads. He could feel the voices vibrating within him, the sweet incense wafting in the air. His ears, his nose, his hands, his eyes, and the blood rushing within him–all were in-tune with his prayers, an ecstasy.

–Memory of Fr. Benezet Aloysius from Draenor

like does Scott ‘Pasty T-Bag’ Gimple really think that i spent 7 years of my life getting to know as much of glenn rhee as tptb allowed, just so that i could barely see him in his second to last season with this fake out bullshit death only to turn around and make his departure from the show violently more gruesome than anything he’s delivered before and in these final moments of a character that i have known and loved for 7 fucking years, im sitting here in tears watching a white fuckboy extraordinare™ toy with another dude for 59 fucking minutes. does gimple really think i spent 7 years of my life with this beautiful selfless being for negan to come thru and become the star of the fucking show and for glenn to become another nameless souvenir on a saviors demonic wall of glory; i cannot fucking believe
