You know what I love about 2017′s line up of superhero films? There are 6 of them, all in one year. One from Fox, Two from DC, Three from Marvel Studios. And all of them are nothing like each other. I mean, just look at this line up:
Logan, a Western inspired R rated film that redefines what the phrase ‘dark/grim superhero movie‘ means.
GotG 2, a sequel to perhaps the most proudly weird superhero movie ever made that’s set to be even weirder.
Wonder Woman, the first female led superhero film (ignoring Supergirl and Catwoman, which we do, cause those movies bombed big time), which is about a warrior from Themyscira fighting Germans in World War 1.
Justice League, DC’s first big team up movie.
And then there’s Thor Ragnarok. Which seems set on out doing Guardians of the Galaxy in terms of over the top comic book weirdness.
Of all the movies coming out this year, the only one that doesn’t feel completely unique is Spider-Man Homecoming. But even that has a villain never before seen in a Spider-Man film, an extremely diverse supporting cast compared to the previous SM films, and it’s going to co-star Iron Man.
so back in 2012/2013 ish my friend would watch some of Jack’s videos when I was over, but I didn’t really like his stuff back then (I think I actually used to be weirded out by his name and icon lol). I subscribed anyway bc why the hell not and never unsubscribed. last year I guess I saw something on tumblr about him and I went to his blog (i clearly remember being bombarded w green and seeing 8 mil fanart) and I realized “fuck I remember this dude!”. so I looked at some videos and I was immediately hooked. now about a year later I’m so glad I found him again. the past year has been an extremely bumpy road for me, but bc of Jack, its prob been the best year I can remember despite the awful things. he has managed to make me smile every single time I felt like never feeling happy again and just. this channel and community have changed my life for the better and I’m so damn happy about that.
So congrats on 14 million Jack. And here’s to many more milestones I plan to stick around for <3
On a planet of people who can shift into animals, felines are worshiped as deities. Doctor McCoy is a doctor, not a veterinarian. However, he manages to save one of their palace guardians (a large panther-like cat), and in return, is granted the ability to shift into a feline himself. Suddenly, the crew of the Enterprise finds themselves without their CMO, and they are now the unwitting owners of a small black cat. Because Bones doesn’t know how to change back. And the only one who understands him is, naturally, the Vulcan First Officer.
