Hey Isaac, I got a question for you. Is Derek rubbing off on you? You've been awfully grumpy lately.
Grumpy? Real nice, Stilinski… No, he’s not, things are just… I have every right to be a little “grumpy” with everything that’s going on right now. Even you’ve been on edge and not completely yourself lately. With everything that’s happening, I think we’re all kind of out of it and stressed right now, so it’s… understandable, right?
The drive out to UCLA was, thankfully, not too terrible given the kind of traffic that liked to clog the atmosphere around the campus. He would be lying to himself if he did not consider taking his unit vehicle just to misuse the siren to blast through the congestion. But today, for once, he was off duty, and thought Hey why not go and surprise his son with lunch?
Finding parking was just as much as a pain as the traffic was.But somehow or another, he managed to hunt Stiles down, after a few choice questions around the Psyc building. The off-duty-sheriff found him quickly and easily enough in a lecture hall. He assumed class had just ended.
Rapping his knuckles over the door, he cleared his throat to get his son’s attention. “Not too busy for a surprise visit from your old man, are you?”
Allison stared at the clock, having to wait exactly one minute before class ended. No matter how good her grades are or how determined she was at studying, she’d always get tired of school eventually. And luckily, this had been her last class.
The second the bell had rung, Allison immediately got up to leave, placing her homework assignment on the teacher’s desk as she walked past it. Nearing towards the door, she accidentally shoulder-bumped someone. Looking over to see who it was, she breathed a sigh of relief, unsure why. “Stiles… Hey.” She finally walked out of the class, accompanied by Stiles. Out of everyone she talked to, Stiles was probably the one she communicated least with. – Unless it had been something on the topic of werewolves or someone being in trouble.
