Luke: You wanted something festive.
Lorelei: You made me a Santa burger.
Luke: It’s no big deal.
Lorelei: He has a hat and everything.
Luke: Yeah, I just cut a slice of Wonder bread, poured a little ketchup, piped on a little cream cheese.
Lorelei:No one has ever made me something quite this disgusting before. I thank you.
He has a hat and everything. Luke felt so bad for you and he likes you SOOOOO much that he made you a gross, yet heartfelt Kris Kringle beef patty. No one has ever made you something quite this disgusting before. Shoot him a smile.
INGREDIENTS: 1 egg ½ teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon ground black pepper 1 pound ground beef ½ cup fine dry bread crumbs
DIRECTIONS: 1. Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate. 2. In a medium bowl, whisk together egg, salt and pepper. Place ground beef and bread crumbs into the mixture. With hands or a fork, mix until well blended. Form into 4 patties approximately ¾ inch thick. 3. Place patties on the prepared grill. Cover and cook 6 to 8 minutes per side, or to desired doneness.
Leave the top bun off of the hamburger and decorate so it looks like Santa Claus.

The one food I have wanted to try or well at least see and say that I have had it. Was the Santa Burger Luke made for Lorelai. That was one of the sweetest things and guestures ever.
(If only I could have put the American flag emoji as my title, but I think it works for now) Now that I’m working full-time, I find that as much as I hate being at work all of the time, I would prefer to work than be sitting around doing nothing. So when we had the day off on Friday, I rather wished that I was collecting those hours, but it did allow me some time to go do things without the…
It’s been one of those off weeks where nothing seems to make sense, but I’m happy to know I have some good times and great friends to fall back on. So here’s a bit of what I’ve been up to these past few weekends: 26 Beach (this was actually not very good and pretty expensive, but the restaurant was still amazing) (yes, this is a bathroom selfie, but look at that decor) San Diego Santa Monica Pier…
