“Jon grinned, reached over, and messed up her hair. Arya flushed. They had always been close.”
‘And Arya…he missed her even more than Robb, skinny little thing that she was, all scraped knees and tangled hair and torn clothes, so fierce and willful. Arya never seemed to fit, no more than he had…yet she could always make Jon smile. He would give anything to be with her now, to muss up her hair once more and watch her make a face, to hear her finish a sentence with him.”
“She would have given anything if Jon had been here to call her “little sister” and muss her hair.”
“Get her a dog, she’ll be happier with it”
While Sansa stays at Littlefinger’s home at the Fingers, she befriends an old blind guard dog. Recalling her dead direwolf, she says to the old dog, “I wish that you were Lady”.
I sit here, fingers splayed across this mangled parchment and watch the candle burn lower and lower. The number of nights passed in this very position could be the beginnings of some sad song, one that would surely make a kind heart like yours weep. In my dreams, I am visited by the Mother who is yet the Maiden. Her hands touch this ruined flesh with a tenderness that could tear apart the world. It tears apart my soul and gently remakes it, reshapes it into something like a man. -Letters from the Quiet Isle, Unsigned
I want to share with you another one of the illustrations I’ve commisioned to the wonderful metalshell for my fic TVOS. It was devised for me and she made my dreams come true ^.^ It illustrates this scene (x)
Hope you like it and please don’t repost it without giving credit.
Эх, почему-то самыми любимыми пейрингами становятся те, у кого меньше всего шансов. У этой пары такая особенная химия. В сериале и надеяться не стоит на что-то, но может в книге будет шанс…. My lovely otp Т_Т
First off, thank you to @thefeatherofhope for helping to fund this project. We have been trying to make some artwork happen for probably close to a year now. At least 9 months. . . look, it’s been a long time people! And here we are. If she had not helped out financially, this would not exist. Without her support as a friend I would not have been able to make this dream come true.
A second thank you to the supremely talented Bubug for all the time, effort, and emails she put into this project, for reading the entire story thus far, and for giving me options to choose from and never giving up until it was just right. Her work gives me old-world, fairy-tale vibes that fit perfectly with this story. I’m pretty sure if you’re a Sandor or Sansan fan you know her work, but on the off chance you haven’t discovered her yet, here is a link to her DeviantArt account.
