Samuel Adams Black Lager
A great aroma & when poured, forms a nice thick head to this moderately thick beer body, but upon first taste, I must say I was a little disappointed as I was expecting more flavor. But as I drank more, the flavor became more robust, coating my tongue in a deep roasted chocolate caramel malts and a nice smoky flavor. A smooth combination of the two gives it a distinct taste.
Samuel Adams Black Lager was a nice change on the black lager market, but nothing that was shocking great that would bring me running back to it any time soon.
