Alexander Hamilton was quite the customer.

He’d come into the campus cafe, bag overflowing with notebooks and pages of writings that would occasionally escape his bag and leave a trail behind him. He sat at the same table, the one in the far left corner closest to the window, and ordered the same exact drink, a black coffee with one cream and five sugars. He would continue to write like a maniac for hours upon hours. This happened about three times a week.

Despite your constant interactions, you and Alex never bothered to talk much. You would go on your way and he would go on his. You always found Alexander Hamilton charming and handsome and intuitive and heard about him around campus constantly but were always too shy to approach the boy.

Today was different though.

For starters, you were late to your shift. You were up late the former night desperately trying to finish your paper needed to be turned in today. This essay was a major part of your grade, and you had to make it the best damn essay you’ve ever written in your college career. This caused you to fall asleep around three in the morning, your alarm clock waking you four hours later. The weather didn’t make anything better.

The rain started in the morning, the clouds layering the grey sky one upon another. At first, the weather wasn’t a major setback, but when you exited your first class of the day, showers were pounding upon the pavement aggressively. You began to despise the oncoming rain showers that would persevere throughout your day.

When you finally were done with your classes and began to head back to your dorm, you realized that your shift had started minutes ago.

“Can this day get any better?” You thought frustratedly as you turned around, making your way through the heavy rain towards the campus cafe.

And that’s where you were right now.

Although thoroughly annoyed by the antics of your day, you still managed to calm down and engage in your job per usual. Your shift wasn’t too bad, only a few people coming in and ordering drinks or simply trying to escape the rain. You chit chatted with some of the people, the rain soon drifting into the back of your mind until he came.

Alexander swung open the door to the cafe, the small bell attached to the door ringing merrily as the brunette sauntered over towards you, his bag full of papers as usual.

“Hi-”

“Black coffee, one cream and five sugars. Anything else?” You rattled off his order, not even bothering to look up at the dumbfounded brunette, “Don’t be shocked. You come in here almost everyday.”

Alex just smiled in response, pulling out the correct amount of money to pay for his drink.

After taking his coffee and drifting off towards his usual seating, you decided to clean up a bit and make yourself a hot chocolate.

Nobody except for you and Alexander were in the cafe at the moment, some Ed Sheeran song playing from the radio, his groans of frustration, and the screeching of chairs as you pushed them back into their correct positions being the only sounds filling the small building.

Suddenly the lights went out at once, a boom of thunder following the sudden black out as you turned to face Alex, the brunette staring back at you.

“Well,” You finally spoke, walking warily over towards the barista counter, “I guess we’re stuck here till the power comes back on.”

With your hot chocolate in hand, you carefully walked over towards Alexander’s table, sitting in the chair across from him.

“Yeah I guess we are.” He replied nervously, quickly collecting his papers and notebooks sprawled across the small table, books toppled over each other.

“If you don’t mind me asking, why do you always come in here? You sit at the same table, order the same thing, and write like you something will happen to you if you stop. Why?” You asked curiously, your hot chocolate warming your hands as you peered at the boy sitting across from you.

“Well if you must know, I’m not exactly the kind of person to sit still and quiet. I talk so much my friends probably have constant headaches all leading back to me. If I’m not talking, I’m writing. I write about anything that comes to mind really.” Alexander explained, taking a sip of his coffee before resuming, “Oh and I just like the coffee and atmosphere here. It’s really serene.”

You giggled at that last comment which made him smile. You could feel a connection forming between the two of you.

The conversation continued between you and Alexander. You talked about all types of nonsense, and he even allowed you to read, or at least attempt to read, his thousands of pages of writings.

“If I want to be honest with you, I really have no idea what any of this means or says.” You confessed as you both laughed, the rain pelting hard against the window beside him.

You now sat closer to Alex, your chair brought next to his so you could read his writings alongside him. The close proximity made you blush, realization of how close the two of you were just now settling in.

Alexander turned his head, looking into your eyes as you nervously stared back. He never understood his attraction towards you, but inside he knew that the coffee and place to escape to to write wasn’t the only reason he kept returning to the cafe at during your shifts.

“I lied to you.” He confessed, cringing slightly at his blunt choice of words.

“Really now?” You replied, quirking an eyebrow in his direction making him smile.

“I don’t only come here for the coffee.”

“This table is serene as hell.” You joked.

“I come here to see you.” Alex said quickly, his words slurring together as he repeated the phrase in his head to himself, thinking of all the possible reactions that you could have to his sudden confession.

“I was hoping you would say that. The black coffee here isn’t the best. I thought that if you didn’t have good taste buds then, hey, at least you were cute.” You rambled, shrugging your shoulders as Alexander let out a light hearted laugh.

“You think I’m cute?” He asked bashfully, his usual confidence disappearing as you giggled.

“Yes, quite a lot.” Your response just made him blush more.

“Would you like to do this again sometime? Like on an actual date?” Alex asked, his confident persona flicking back on like a light switch.

“I’d love to.”

And with those words, the lights flickering back on.

Does anyone have "weird" dysphoria? Like sometimes I'll have dysphoria o n l y of my shoulders, and nowhere else. Or sometimes it'll just be my feet (I have miniature feet I swear) and nowhere else. Idk if anyone deals with the same thing??

Yup, a lot of people do. I definitely feel you about the shoulder thing - I remember a period of time last year when the only intense dysphoria I felt was about my shoulders.

Dysphoria is oftentimes a weird thing. A lot of the time it changes and fluctuats in ways that doesn’t really make sense.

hey my dude i haven't been following this blog for a while but i loved it while i was following it and i completely respect your decision and i would do that same thing honestly. i wish you the best in your future endeavors

Thank you so much

Okay but before I go

I know this sounds bad. But I’m thinking that the person who made TheUnfortunateCheese is someone I know. But don’t recognize because they’re on a different blog. I’m starting to think that because I don’t know how they’d know me otherwise. So TheUnfortunateCheese if you are someone I know…. or don’t know in either case.

Please stop. I never sent you any anon hate and you’re taking this too far and need to knock it off. I was accused of something I never did yesterday by my parents and had a mental break down because of that. And then I get up to find you doing the same thing. Just please stop I beg you.

Cool Concept: people have their own experiences in mental and physical illnesses and to say you can’t do something because of your own experience in your own illness doesnt necessarily mean that you’re implying other people with the same illness are unable to do said thing or experience things the exact same way you do

how to tell the difference between aphobe-regs and anti-sjws; the former is super offended when you point out theyre doing the exact same thing as the latter, because "how DARE you compare them to people who mock and belittle their identities and struggles???"

Its like….maybe don’t DO the things we’re a pointing out that you do….food for thought…

hi I was wondering if I can repost you're amethyst with Stevens clothes art onto my fan page on Facebook called Stevens universe fan art I am a new page so it's just me but I have experience and I know to credit you and everything please and thank you 😊

They’re actually a Steven + Lapis Lazuli fan fusion, and I don’t have a problem with people reposting my work on other sites as long as they include a clear link of where it came from http://artifiziell.tumblr.com - for reference, and the work isn’t altered in any way.
(I know you said you’d credit but I’m mostly just saying it for anyone else that might be thinking of doing the same thing but hasn’t asked - thank you for asking!)

Hi I just wanted to say I've loved your blog for a while now and I will miss it! But I really understand your decision and i suppose if I where in your position I'd probably do the same thing ❤️

I’m glad you would do the same ❤

You know who did the teen hero thing right? Kim Possible, that’s who. She never messed around with that secret identity thing or with not letting her parents or friends know what she was doing so she never had to deal with, “Oh, I’m gonna miss this important family event to save the world”  or, “What’ll happen if my friends find out my secret identity?” bullcrap. It was like, “Mom, Dad. I gotta go deal with this Drakken sitch,” and they’d just be like, “Have fun. Tell Ron we said hi.” She had that hero/personal life balance thing on lock. I aspire to have my life as in balance as Kim Possible.

Two boys: *blush at each other, hug, think about each other all day, hold hands, stare at each other lovingly, dream about each other, share lots of intimate affectionate moments*

People: look at those bros! Such strong friendship!

People: *brush hands with friends of the same gender* no homo!

really makes me uneasy when people who aren’t traumatized tell you “it’s never gonna happen again” bc:

1. it happens again daily in my head
2. where are you gonna be if it does happen again

it just seems like a very invalidating thing to say that’s all
