Prompt: The gang saving some Aliens and afterwards Lance realizes how much the remind them of his family and he just breaks

YESSSSS

Lance quickly landed Blue as gently as he could and quickly ran out to met up with Allura and Coran.

“How many?” Allura asked almost out of breath.

“Five.” and they all ran back into Blue.

-

Lance paced in front of the healing pods. Five. Five aliens that were injured because of me. He ran his fingers through his hair. This is going to be a long night. and Lance sat down and started his long wait.

-

Roughly a week later one of pods opened. It contained a younger looking alien, he looked around maybe 5 or 6. He had yellow skin, long black hair that was tied into pigtails and a few marking that decorated his skin.

Lance quickly ran over to the boy and picked him up.

“Hey you’re alright.” Lance grab the boys arm in an attempt to calm him from his frantic appearance.

The boy looked at Lance with wide eyes before he calmed down enough to register what Lance said to him.

“Do you want to tell me your name?” Lance quietly said as he wrapped a blanket around the boy.

“Noko.” His voice was quiet but firm, like that was the only thing he was sure of.

“Noko. That’s an amazing name.” Lance smiled at the boy. “My name is Lance.”

“Lance.” The boy practiced his name a few time. Lance smiled and watched his eyes move to the other five pods. His arm slowly moved up to point at the pod containing his sister “Arma.”

Lance looked at the girl. She looked around 10ish, same skin color and hair, just different markings. He looked back at the boy and saw tears welling up in his eyes. “Hey, hey don’t cry,” he wiped Noko’s face, “She’s alright. Your family is safe and healing.” Lance gestured to the other pods.

The pod closest to the two boys contained, who Lance assumed, was the dad.  He was a tall fellow, extremely muscular and Lance could see how much Noko and Arma resembled him. Lance felt a pain in his chest as he realized that he reminded him of his own father.

The pod next to the father, was a women. She had orange skin and long blue hair. It was the color of the ocean. She didn’t have any markings on her, yet she had piercings. They decorated her skin and seem to sparkly in the artificial light produced by the pods. Lance assumed that she was the mother of the three kids.

The last pod contained another boy, he looked around Lances age. His skin was tinted more orange than yellow. His hair was cut short and was a mix between black and blue. Each color seem to alternate, giving the impression that he had dyed it. Lance also noticed that had less markings on him. Lance determined that he took after his mom more than his father.

Lance looked down at Noko who was (poorly attempting) to stop crying. “Hey why don’t you tell me everyone name so when the come out I can talk to them.”

Noko wiped his face and nodded. He stood up and walked over to the pod with the father. He placed his hand on the pod “Papi.”

Lance attempted to bit back a noise. Out of every family in the entire universe he had to find the one with the kids who called his dad the same thing Lance called his dad. Papi.

“Alright, so Papi.” Lance smiled at Noko and followed him to the pod with the women.

“This is Mima.” Noko stared at the pod, and brought his blanket closer to him.

Lance nodded, praying that Noko didn’t notice how he flinched at the word. “Okay, and we already know Arma.” Lance lead Noko past her pod and stopped in front of the last pod. “Who is this?”

“Takclamino but we all call him T. He doesn’t talk much, so don’t be mad if he doesn’t respond.”

Lance nodded “My sister is the same way.”

Noko stared at Lance. “Really? What’s her name??”

“Cleo. Shes two years older than me.” Lance smiled.

Noko went to respond but was cut off by his stomach.

“Come on lets go get you some food and you can met the team.” Lance lead Noko out of the room.

-

Lance took care of Noko, just like with his own younger siblings. He fed Noko, put him to bed, played with him, made sure he kept clean, and gave him company.

Lance would never admit it, but Noko helped him. Noko made him feel home again, something he hasn’t felt in a long time. He wasn’t saying that his team wasn’t his family, but Noko felt more like a blood relative over anything.

After about 4 days everyone was out of the pods and perfectly healed. Now they were simply waiting to head back home.

Lance spent all of his time with the family. They reminded him so much of earth and his family that he didn’t get to say goodbye to. Lance felt like he belonged with this family.

Papi would show him how to do certain training exercises and would congratulate him on things he did correctly.

Mima would cook him food (when Hunk let her) and Lance would gladly eat it.

Arma constantly wanted Lance to braid her hair and teach her makeup and his skincare routine.

Noko always wanted to play “Space Rangers” with him and would climb on his should and make Lance run around the castle at full speed.

T never said much with the exception of 3 to 6 word sentences. Lance didn’t mind, he found comfort in sitting in silence. Except when T showed Lance his harmonica (well that’s what Lance called it) and soon his hang outs with T were filled with music.

Lance was happy with this family, yet something sat at the bottom of his stomach and he didn’t know what it was.

Lance finally figured out what was keeping him on edge. He was unconsciously dreading the day the family left.

Lancer fought back the tears as he hugged them all goodbye and patted Noko’s head.

“Promise we will play ‘Space Rangers’ again?”

“I promise buddy.” Lance smiled and stood by his team as the family left.

Afterwards the teams asked Lance if he was alright, Lance quickly replied with any positive words and went to his room.

Once inside the safety of his room Lance broke. Tears fell down his face and Lance caved in on himself. He missed his family more than ever and he wanted to be with them again. Lance crawled into his bed and wrapped himself up in his blankets. Maybe one day I can play “Space Rangers” with my brother again. And Lance drifted off to sleep.

Whoops…

Thank you for this!

Note: this exists in a post season 1 universe where they have discovered each other’s identities and they know the other knows, but they haven’t had a lot of time to process/discuss it with each other yet. Hopefully pure fluff.

The first akuma fight after they had discovered each other’s identities happened on a Thursday. It wasn’t awkward, per se, but it was not the smooth coordinated attack Paris had come to expect from its heroes. Chat Noir would turn to suggest a strategy and find Ladybug already scrutinizing him with an awed, yet disbelieving look on her face. Chat in turn would be distracted by the fact that his Lady had been his classmate (Marinette!) this whole time, just a few meters away. The akuma would take advantage of their distraction and suddenly the whole fight was taking twice as long as it should have.

As soon as the glow from the Miraculous HealingTM had faded and they had their celebratory fistbump, Ladybug smiled and threw out her yo-yo to dash home.

“Wait—” Chat started at the same time as it hit Ladybug for the 64th time that day. “Oh,” her yo-yo fell clattering against the side of the building, “right.”

The only sound that followed was the whir of her yo-yo as it wound up. A blush crept onto Ladybug’s cheeks and Chat’s hand found the back of his neck.

Her earrings beeped and her hand jerked protectively before descending. She smiled and only his years of knowing her (in costume and out!) told him that it was a brave face for show. “Well, there’s no need to hide I guess. Want to sit?”

The funniest thing about the new Barbie Fashionista dolls is that Lammily now has NOTHING going for her, the one thing she could hold over Barbie (the ‘average’ body shape) has been ripped out from beneath her and done 1000x better.

Lammily had nothing else going for her, she was plain and boring, she could barely pose, she was designed to be what the creator (Nickolay Lamm) finds attractive in a woman, and there was no indication of the ‘fashion’ part of fashion doll. Barbie has just created a line that not only has the ‘average’ body type, but also has tall and petite versions, not only has a whole spectrum of skin tones, but also racial features (as in, not every doll has the exact same ‘pretty white girl’ sculpt), has a whole host of different hair colours and types, and as always, Barbie is fashionable. There is not one ‘hide-your-flawed-body-tent’ in the bunch, every single doll is dressed in an outfit that was clearly thought-out and made to flatter their body type.

Which is a big difference, Lammily is dressed nicely (if blandly), but looks as though she’s wearing an outfit to hide her average body, with a loose shirt and a pair of shorts that don’t seem to fit the body they’re made for.

Whereas the Barbie line features a whole variety of clothing that flatters and extenuates the features of the bodies they’re for, especially the curvy bodies. The clothes are stylish, tailored, casual, dressy, and interesting, there’s a ton of variety in the clothing for the curvy girls and some of it is stuff that even real clothing manufacturers forget that fat girls can wear.

Lammily’s whole shtick is that she’s ‘average’, that she’s more realistic than Barbie (with an underlying misogynistic/slut-shamey tone, but that may just be what I’m picking up on). Barbie is all about being who you want to be, Barbie says you can have any career you want no matter what, and you can be pretty and stylish at the same time (but that’s just a bonus).

Lammily says she’s better because she looks like everyone else and wears sensible shoes. Barbie says you’re great because you can be anything in the world.

Guuuys I want to put my Geographia tin-foil theory out there.

The case being, I think it could be Eren’s mom.

Weeeell I know there’s not much to indicate this and I’m not even claiming it’s more than an idea, but hear me out!

Basically, there are two things to this:

First, the memory Eren sees is obviously not his, but somebody else’s - most probably the girl’s in this picture, since Eren seems to look in the mirror through her eyes. We know Grisha implanted some memories into his son’s mind and that should help and guide him… somehow (not working, Grisha, not working). This must be one of those. It’s not too far-fetched to think that Grisha might have some personal connection to whoever “they” are, to have had access to “their” memories in the first place (not necessarily, but could be).

Well, now to the main thing. Many people, myself included, got the impression that the girl looks much more like fem!Eren than like Historia. And well, doesn’t she?

So who do we know that actually is female and shares some genes wtih Eren? Yup, his mom we basically know nothing about. Eren comes much more after his mom than after his dad, looks-wise, so why the hell not? It could as well be her in her late teens.

But there’s also another thing: Eren first mistakes her for Historia AND she clearly comes from money, which would also mean the girl’s probably related to the Reiss’s.

Which in turn would mean that Eren’s related to the Reiss family.

And we know they are strongly connected to (part of?) the Wall Cult that has secret knowledge about Titans in the Walls, possibly origin of Titans, possibly control of Titans and god knows what else.

And so… why the hell wouldn’t it be possible that Grisha took off with a member of the Reiss family who was in on some titan-related conspirancy and went into the furthest district possible to make use of (or sit on it and keep it safe or whatever) some titan-related stuff that he and his new wife have stolen (see weird Titan-serum, see THE BASEMENT).

That would also mean that a dead anime-mom has real significance to the story apart from being a plot-device to get some motivation into the main character - which would kinda be cool, if you ask me.

So yeah… yeah… I know, half of the characters in the manga look the same, if not for the different hair styles. Same artist, duh. BUT DOESN’T THE GIRL KINDA LOOK LIKE SHE COULD BE YOUNGER AND RICHER CARLA?

So maybe I’m crazy… but maybe, just maybe, I’m onto something.

IT’S ALL CONNECTED
